I chose #3, I HATED this book, I swear it's like reading a story by the formely known Heather Gannis. And I liked when ed came into the story, that's the only part I liked, what kind of bull is that?

I wasn't happy with this book, or Gaia in particular, but I guess I missed reading Fearless that I guess it is okay.

That could be a possibility, but I just didn't like the book, cause Gaia just wasn't Gaia in it.

Every book in Fearless is all leading up to some big plan, from the beginning. That's why I find so many conspiracy theories.

There has to be a ghostwriter. If there wasn't, the books would probably included more of WSP, etc. & not have so many mistakes.

whether that theory is right or not, what you just said doesn't exactly justify what's happening. every writer moves on, you can't stick to the same because it'll be the same, boring all over again.

Maybe your right, but that still doesnt' justify the mistakes, like the things said in the past books that changed in the present. For example, when Tom said in one of the books that Katia looks like Gaia with her blonde hair and eyes or something like taht and b4 it was said Katia had brn hair and eyes.

If you guys look up "Fearless series" on Google, there's some article/interview with Francine Pascal and she tells them how the ghostwriting process works. I looked it up one time when I was bored and then I was shocked. She said she only wrote the first one --- or actually she said that she "worked" on it.

Once I finished it I threw the book at my window. I guess thats your answer there. <_<

What's with "the silent hand" anyway? I looked on Amazon cause its the only one that has it, and there isn't even a cover. How is it supposed to be out in 2 weeks if there isn't a cover? It's not even on B&N. I'm totally questioning where the silent hand is going.

nope i don't have a cover, there never was a cover, flee thinks it's a rumor, but i checked in with borders, and it's still coming according to their computers, however i'm hoping that it's not like, a mistake and just another book or something. But I wouldn't mind if it be like #36 or something lol, that be a cool mistake. Everyone that has a Borders nearby might want to go and check it out, and if you don't i advise you order it through amazon or borders, well it's the same thing cause they're affiliated. And you knwo that it will be coming.

i hated the way was so un-gaia ish. i hate the way she ran from that fight and now is suddenly cares about what people think about her. and if she doesn't lose her fear, she's going to lose Jake.

cuz if she hasn't realized it yet, the reason sam, ed, and jake fell for her was because she had that special quality. that quality was her fearlessness. and now she's just a normal girl. i no that's what gaia wanted but...

maybe #33 will be better

I know all the guys fell for her because she was special, unique, different from regular ppl, take your pick. But that's only part of the reason. Another part is her looks, which is shallow but true. But the big reason they each fell for her was different.

Ed fell for her, cause she didn't patronize him, or treat him differently. Sam fell for her cause she was smart, and could play a mean game of chess. And Jake fell for her cause she could fight, and wasn't a wuss like most of the girls he knew. Sure all those things tied into her fearlessness, but you don't need to be fearless to do all those things.

Its kind of hard to explain what I'm getting at, cause the idea I have in my mind is kind of complex. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that yes being fearless was a big part of who she was (and hopefully she'll get her fearlessness back), but just cause she's not doesn't mean that she'll lose her guys. Well maybe Jake, since the main reason that he fell for her was cause she could fight, but now she's afraid to. But she hasn't gotten any dumber, her IQ hasn't dropped, so she should lose Sam. And Unless she starts patronizing Ed, she won't lose him either, or at least shouldn't.

Yeah, it made sense. It's really weird because it's like saying that if she had fear all along she would be a shallow FOH? Just because she has fear doesn't mean her whole personality has changed. And maybe she will seem dumber now that she has fear because fear causes you to think differently under certain situations. If Gaia was trapped in a tank full of water and she had no fear, she would be calm enough to think of a smart way to get out. Now that she has fear, fear would influence her actions so that she wouldn't be able to figure a way out of the tank because she would be in too much panic. Catch my drift?

also, the only reason she could fight against random rapists in the park was because she didn't have to suppress her fears. and also remember that part where jake is talking about the pros and cons of gaia? all the pros are linked to her fearlessness and all the cons ar with her fears.

Absolutely! That was what was so weird. That somehow the only special thing about Gaia was her fearlessness, and apart from that, she was just a shallow, bitchy FOH.

When I was talking about Gaia being smart, I meant in a regular everyday kind of way, like in school and stuff. Not fighting, or being trapped in a tank of water. Cause when your in those kinds of situations, and fear takes over, you basically run on instinct. You aren't rational, all you know is that you have to survive. It doesn't make you dumber. It makes you human.

But the the fear thing. Gaia never told anyone. The closest she ever came to, was fighting those guys in front of Sam, and passing out. Showing Sam her weakness. That's about as far as she got.

And I agree with that...if Gaia is really not Fearless and this is what it does to her...then that really sucks, and that would be highly unbelievable anyway. But the thing is is that it shouldn't be that way...it wasn't at the end of Normal. She didn't seem all weird and FOH-ish then. So why start now? I honestly don't believe the lonely bit about it though.
