OK everyone! this is my first fanfic by myself tell me what u think!
Chapter one

"Out with the old, In with the new."
That was the phrase running through Gaia's head since she and jake had left her apartment a few hours before. Her eyes flicked to jake's as she took his queen "checkmate" she said with a smirk.
"damn girl!" jake laughed "i'm not palying you anymore! thats forty bucks in ten minutes. and i'm supossed to be a gran master!"
Gaia laughed and got up from the chess table, and started walking towards the krispy kreme shop near whastington square park.
"Hey! Wait! i'm supossed to buy you donuts remember?" jake called running to catch up with her.
"that was a deal for intermuarl karate... and neither of us are doing that anymore are we?"
"yea but.....lemme buy anyway."
"fine" Gaia huffed "I just want my dounuts." She was trying to ignore the little flip her heart gave over his offer.


Gaia was on her 3rd chocolate glaze while jake stared at her slackjawed.
"you know you should weigh like 300 pounds? most girls would be embarassed to eat like that infront of a guy." jake said with a grin.
"once agian shows how much you know, i'm not most girls."
suddenly Gaia's phone started to ring. gaia had a short conversiaton with her fater and hung up.
"sorry i gotta go" she told jake relunctantly
"but-" he started to argue
"No!Jake!! ......... i mean it's about tatiana and natasha we found out who they work for ..or atleast i hope we did."
"Gaia, let me come with you."
"uh..no last time you followed me home u got sucked up into my screwed up little world and i don't want that to happen agian."
"i'm not sucked in ......and besides i want to come" jake tried agian.
"no i promise someother time." Gaia sprinted out the door brfoe jake had time to argue somemore.

"I love you Gaia......but how am i ever gonna tell u if you don't stay around long enough?"

lol i'm not sure if i should keep writing this i'm already writing the 3rd chapter should i keep goin? if yes i'll post chap 2 tomarrow

Chapter 2

Sam walked toward the krispy kreme shop near whashington square park. He knew this was Gaia's territory and he really wanted to see he but.....she hadn't answered his calls of come to the place where he worked. Sam saw a blonde bullet whiz by him. He just barley took in the ice blue eyes and the perfect body befor she was out of sight. SAm sighed and walked into the donut shop just in time to se a highschool age guy put his head into his hands and mutter "I love you Gaia......but how am i ever gonna tell you if you don't stay around long enough?"
Sam was shocked! Was this the reason he hadn't seen Gaia since that awkward day they met on the street near his old dorm? This guy?
"Gaia Moore?" sam asked. he hadn't ment to say it but the worlds tumbled out of his mouth befor he could stop himself.
The boy looked up and said "who the hell are you and why are you spying on me?"
"i'm Sam moon.........Gaia's........ex boyfriend" he finished somewhat reluctantly.
"Jake Montone... sorry i just wasn't expecting anyone to answer."
"um Yea... You did mean Gaia Moore right" sam pressed
"Yea, so?"
Sam looked at jake uncomfertablely
"i wouldn't tell her that if i were you, it'll ruin your life."
Jake turned defensice "jelous?" he asked
"of course, Gaia's perfect and.....i still love her."
"but you know i'm gonna have her!" jake spat
"you seem so sure." sam said with a Gaia-class smirk
"I am!" jake walked from the shop and headed home.
"god now i've got competion to worry about?" he thought as he stormed home. "i guess killers wern't enough" he added as an after thought

Chapter 3


Gaia got out of the subway and rushed towards the 72nd street apartment. She thundered up the stairs(the elevater was to damn slow),and threw the door open,and collapesed on the couch fighting for conciousness. she hadn't remembered running that fast since the night she was chasing the gentelman, the night she saved mary.
She had gotten there as quickly as possible because she needed to know her family's new enimy, she needed to know who took her dad.
Was it a new enimy or could oliver still be lo- "no gaia" she said to herself "you trust him remember?" God! her fathers suspisions were wearing off on her. Tom walked into the room, showing nothing on his face. He had trained Gaia well but well lets face it ..... he had more experience.
"Gaia". he said "do you know of someone named yuri"
"yuri? but...I mean.... he's ......he's dead dad he's dead.....Loki shot him after they tried to kidnap me when i was six!!!"
" shot him yes. killed him no" Tom answered gravley.
"I guess it makes sense Natasha and Tatiana work for him" Gaia mutterd. Her dad just stared at her.
"you told me before that natasha and tatiana were mom's distant cousins or something." Gaia explained.
"Brilliant" tom said in a near wisper. "Gaia, do your relize what we're up against here?
"i think so.... it's like a civil war except between a family."
"we're going to have to contact the agency.......and Gaia we're going to need your friend jake." he finished.
"DAD! NO! can't we keep him out of this?"
"its up to him, It's his decision."
"but , you know he will say! He loves this kind of thing." she retaliated
"all the more reason we need him." Tom Said handing Gaia the phone. "call him"
Gaia dialed Jake's number praying he wasn't home. God didn't listen ,Jake picked up on the second ring.
"hello?" He asked.
"Jake, its me, don't say anything till i'm finished."

Chapter 4

JAKE POV
WOW. this family keeps getting werider and weirder.I learn more about Gaia's screwed up past everyday. The poor girl has had more suffering in her 17 years than most people deserve in a life time. scratch that 10 life times. Now she needs my heip, and am i goona let her down? Hell no! This is the least i can do for Gaia. I love her and nothing is going to get in the way of that. Which reminds me about that sam moon guy or whatever his name is. He had his chance with Gaia and obiviously it didn't work out. Now its my turn and he's jelious. he cand stand that Gaia and i love each other. YES i did jus say that i know Gaia loves me back although she can't or won't (i'm not sure which one yet) admit it yet. I can see it on her face, she hides it well but i catch it once in awhile so sam.........to hell with you Gaia is mine!

SAM POV
Gaia i love you and i can't help it . you hurt me but i can't help it. I should hate you but i can't i love you. And who is this Jake guy??why did you never tell me about him?Do you love him? do you love me? do you still love Ed?. God. i'm so confused, but i know one thing, i'm not going to give up without a fight! so jake,with utmost respect..... screw you!

ED POV
Gaia or Kai? It shouldn't be a hard decision any moron could figure it out, and when you boil it down, it's not. The really question is heart or intelligience. My heart is saying " love you Gaia".but my brains says she hurt you she hates you she lied and cheated on you!" "go out with kai she likes you shes pretty and she's NORMAL". but i have never been a very smart person (just look at my accicdent look why i did it. for Heather. that should be proof of how stupid i can be).
alright i'll pick Gaia....no! wait! Kai oh god! now i'm right back to where i started.

GAIA POV
Yuri is alive? it almost to hard to belive we have another enimy. But thats not what i wanna talk about. i wanna talk about Jake. I don't want Jake to be caught up in this , i want him safe so when i'm done with all this crap i can come home to him. WHAT?? where did THAT come from??? Oh well i have been putting it off forever so i guess i'll just admit it. I'll say it u'm falling in love with Jake. But........what about sam and ed?i still have lingering feeling for both of them (even though with sam its more about gulit than love). But that Jake feelings are so much stronger. or who knows?if i am ever forgiven or if i forgive them, mabey those feelings will grow? oh well that reminds me i still have to call sam back. Jake? we're in for a bumpy ride.

chapter 5
Ed skated down the tribecca area near WSP on his board, he knew he should go see Kai and try to explain why he just left like that but he didn't feel like it. He was haveing a deep battle in his heard about Gaia. Kissing Kai made him relize how good it was with Gaia and how much he missed her. But on the other hand,she lied to him and mabey, even cheated on him with Sam. Speak of the devil, their was sam shuffleing towards the deserted chess tables, he sat down and put his head into his hands. As Ed got closer he heard sam mumbling to himself. "Gaia......... why? ..........how could you?"
"Sam?" es asked "everything ok?"
"is anything ever ok when Gaia's involed?" Sam shot. then he sighed. "its some new guy she's hanging out with jack or john or Jake or something."
"JAKE??!!!" Ed yelped. "is she alright is she hurt?"
"yea she's fine. it's just......... Jake loves her and-"
"so do you. yea........me too." Ed stated
"so what are we gonna do?" sam asked
"There's not much we can do is there? this is Gaia's decison she has to figure it out on her own."
"yeabut we could kinda help her decide right?" sam ventured
"i guess" said Ed.
"she was mine first." Sam mumbles half to himself.
" And Third!!!" Ed couldn't help adding.
"HUH?" sam looked up startled
"duh!!! why do you think i broke up with her? she cheated on me with YOU!" Ed yelled growing angry
"what are you talking about?" sam asked increduliously.
"The closet, the party, Heather's benifet?" Ed spat "Remember that!?"
"ED! Gaia never cheated on you! That was a FRIENDLY hug!" Sam was starting to get less confused and more frustraited.
"Oh my god....." ed trailed off "i thinki made the biggest mistake of my life i gotta go." ed was saying this half to himself as he got back on his board and zoomed towards the subway. He was going to the 72nd street apartment. he had to see Gaia he had to apologize to her. He had to beg her to take him back.....because he knew now....... he knew he could never love Kai.

ut ohs...whats Gaia gonna do????? she lurves Jake...well and ed and sam...hmmm....:ponders:

Chapter 6

SAM POV

i know where Ed went, went to Gaia's apartment to beg her to take him back. She won't though, i know she won't. I don''t know why, but i have a feeling the Ed is out of the running for Gaia's heart. Gaia will reject ed, because he hurt herwhen he wouldn't trust her. so its down to me and Jake, lets see where this goes. Mabey i should go after Ed and try to stop him but i can't i'm going to let Gaia turn him down. he doesn't deserve her.

Jake got out of the elevator and walked toward Gaia's apartment, the door opened befor he even knocked. Apparently Gaia was looking throgh the peep hole waiting for him. Gaia led jake to her room where all the new furniture was already set up. As Jake walked past the living room he caught a glance of several men in black suites haveing coffee with Tom. They seemed to be in a deep conversation.
Gaia shut the door behind them before jake saw anymore.
"whats with all the secrecy Gaia?" he asked wondering very much why he was here.Gaia had told him to come to her place because something very important was on, but she wouldn't elaborate over the phone. "Does it have anything to do with Natasha and Tatiana?" he rememberd thats why Gaia left him at the krispy kreme shop earlyer.
Gaia sat on her bed indian-style, Jake did the same. She took a deep breath, jake could tell she was having troble saying what she wanted to tell him.
"Jake i want to tell you everything and at the end i'm gonna ask for your help. but..... what i'm gonna tell you first will make everything else make sense ok?" Jake stared at Gaia waiting.
" Jake.............I'm ....I'm....I"m fearless." Gaia stammerd.
Jake had no idea what she ment. Actually he did but he was in to much shock to figure it out. FEARLESS? was there such a thing?
"what do you mean fearless?" he asked suddenly out of shock and very attentive.
