I Have 3 Horses .. Brodie, Big Jon, And Sally .. Brodies Related To Northern Dancer On Both Side (Don't Know If You've Ever Heard Of Him But He Won The Kuntucky Derby And Other Races) .. Does Anyone Else Do Horseback Riding Or Own Horses?!?!?

EdFargosDehSweetie!! - May 11, 2004 02:19 AM (GMT)

thanx EFDS. HBR isn't that hard, i don't think, but there are a lot of variables. like how our horse is, how tall you are, if you ride westrn or english. i think it also is somewhat a skill that you posses naturally. some people look like they were born in a saddle, some just look like they're nervous. just try to have fun! (my teachr says i'm a natural. heehee). but even w/ talent there's a lot of work involved! your goin to have fun!
totallyscamed - May 27, 2004 03:02 AM (GMT)
by te way...do you guys ride western or english?
EdFargosDehSweetie!! - May 27, 2004 09:11 PM (GMT)
ENGLISH!!! Sorry If You Do Western But I Hate It .. I Remember I Went On A Trail Ride And All They Had Was Western Horses And Saddles And The Horse Wouldn't Stop Eating (This Was Back When I Just Started) But he Wouldn't Stop Eating And The Horn Kept Going Into My Stomach And The Nest Day I Had A Bruise
EdLuver - May 30, 2004 06:27 PM (GMT)
ill probably do it english.
totallyscamed - June 15, 2004 03:35 AM (GMT)
sometimes i ride english, but usually western. i dunno, but all the rental horses i'v rode were not like that at all! and the bruise thing- were you leaning on the horn?!
EdFargosDehSweetie!! - June 22, 2004 06:45 PM (GMT)
Lolz .. of course not .. but the horn kept going into my stomach .. i dunno .. maybe i jus had a bad experience but i dunt like western .. sorry!
totallyscamed - June 22, 2004 08:25 PM (GMT)
don't be sorry! it's your choice. i think westerns easier!
EdFargosDehSweetie!! - June 22, 2004 08:55 PM (GMT)
really?? i've only done it a few times but it seems sooo much harder then english .. i think it just depends on what you learn first
fearlessfan - June 28, 2004 03:22 PM (GMT)
iv never ridden a western only english.
