:ph43r: Not strictly in keeping with the forum, but I have recently aquired a 1983 "Interesting A' Plate" BL Mini Mayfair. The car is in generally VGC, and complete although it has been stripped of its lights/grille/rear opening windows for re-spraying. All the removed parts are at present inside the car. I've not put that very well have I?! What I meant to say is that the bits are all there, just been taken off for the shel to be painted. Does that make more sense? Hope so. Anyway, I know the car very well as it's somewhat of a family heirloom. It's been off the road for 4 years, kept garaged, after a young lad ran in to the back of it.
The car required a new boot lid, light cluster and a bit of panel work on the rear quarter, which has all been done, and now just requires spraying and putting back together. If you were to want it in black, both the paint and thinners are in the boot ready to go! I am looking to have the work done but at present, have no time so as an unfinished project I would take offers close to £600
