Have put new mount on the gaerbox but the engines sump seems to fould the front chassis rail, does the engine have to be put in on an angle?

Hi,

you need to ensure the engine goes as far back as possible such that you can get the sump off without lifting the engine, this may mean cutting away a portion of the bulkhead and/or tunnel in order to accomodate the gearbox.
