Hi all,

Still after a Rover gearbox for a Turbo conversion.

Looking specifically for a Rover SD1 box OR a 5 speed from a Sherpa van - pre 'G' reg I think!

Has to mate with the 2 Ltr Montego Turbo engine.

Anything thats possible considered.

Also, got a knackered drivers side brake caliper - believed to be Triumph (S2).

Hi Greg... Is it the LT77 box you refer to?

If the rover box goes straight onto the montego block then the alternative would be to buy a bellhousing adapter so that you could mate a ford box to the montego block. (Instead of the usual rover v8) That would give a better choice of boxes and ratios etc.

The triumph stuff I know little about so can't offer any advice :(
