This area is chock full of D Golems and up big Drudges and shadows as well...
kinda hard for a solo mage but with a fellow of atleast 3 peeps it becomes well worthwhile.

I'll second that. It's a very good place to go. If you go around to the northeast I believe you come to a desert area with Scalvus, Scalvus lords and desolation moarsman. Those Moarsman will rack up your xp per hour :)
