Physical Description: Nyro Darko has a strong, stern build, with a young look to his face. He is fair skinned, but has a great contrast between his skin tone, and the long dark black hair which lingers just below his shoulders.

Personality: Nyro Darko usually keeps to himself, he is stern with a lack of humor when on a mission. He could be said to have a split personality, when he is not searching for someone he is laid back and funny.

Background: Nyro was born into an honored elven family, the Darko's. His father was a great Ranger, and Elven Lord (heir to an ancient line of elven kings whose kingdom was lost long ago), his mother was a loving house wife who spent her days in the home, and her nights by the sea.

His childhood was peaceful, he often went hunting and tracking with his father, and then would come home and help his mother with her duties or on some occassions venture onto a small vessel into the sea with his mother. Nyro would often sit and listen to tales his father would tell him of their ancestors and the great adventures they would go on and the challanges they would face. Nyro would dream night after night of one day going on his own adventures.

When he had reached his teen years, he had become a novice ranger, and was on the path to becoming a great one like his father when the first war against the Tharkans came. Nyro's father went off to battle and left Nyro and his mother behind. The young man became the man of the house, and took care of the hunting while his father was away. At this time, his mother had also bore him a younger male sibling by the name of Elladan. He became a father figure to the young boy, he taught him how to shoot a bow, and wield a sword.

The years went by, he had become a man, and was about 190 but looked in human years to that of a 19 year old. Nyro decided to search for his father, he had not heard from him in sometime, he left on his horse, Virgo, and made haste to see if he could find his father. He searched all over the place for news of his father, in taverns, from passerbys, and anyone else whom he encountered. Finally he met an Elven Warrior who knew his father, the man told him of his fathers battles and how his father was known as Darko the Black Blade (due to the blade of Nyro's ancestors which was passed down from father to son and was made out of enchanted metal and turned black when the wielder was enraged but would glisten a white silver when the man who held it was at peace) and that he had recently left the war and returned home. Nyro made great haste back to his home by the sea. But when he returned home, all he could find was burned wood, blackened stone, piles of ash and crackling fire.

Nyro searched everywhere once again in search for his family, he felt they were still alive but didnt know where.. And so Nyro now lurks in taverns feeling abandoned and hateful. Ever in search for his father, mother, and brother.

He found no remains of his family,

Okay, i must have taken leave of my senses. I know we talked about a conflict for u to use in ur background - and i told you the first tharkan war. However, i forgot that you're less than 300 years old, which thus makes that impossible. ( :huh: ) Confused? You should be. Let me elaborate: The First Tharrkan War between Tharkas and the Elves took place over 1,400 years BEFORE Dark Isles. If you have trouble seeing that in the backstory stuff, that's because there's a 1,000 year stint of peace after the "troubles in the east" which I have yet to write. After that 1,000 years comes the Second Demon War. So I apologize for the confusion. All who read that background will have to see that as the Second Demon War, my mistake.

Dude, that's sad... Maybe you'll find information about them in the Second Demon War chapters when they crop up. Anyway, cool beans.
