This pendant is important to Haru because it is the only gift reminding him of his past and his present. As for his clothing, they are in an ancient form of Elvish travel gear that was granted to him thanks to his mother. Haru is taller than most elves and humans but what he has in hieght, he lacks in build. While he isn't weak, he is not as strong as he could be. Haru also has a light tan to his skin and is well known in his home town for his dark, black hair. He is also known for the strange mixture of his eye color. A mix between sapphire and emerald showing signs of his history. Also hidden away is a short dagger, the only thing left to him by his dather. Not much is ever seen of the dagger, for the only time it is ever seen, it would already be too late for his enemy.
Personality: While being alone in the world, Haru's personality can not be put into words. While being quiet during his travels, this does not mean that he is without feelings. Nothing is shown or revealed because of his expression. His mood changes as fast as the change in time. He only wlks aloone but never gives up on the idea that there maybe a friend somewhere. Haru only has one thing on his mind. Finding his love and free his mother.

Background: Through my travels, I have seen many different things that would change anyone. Events that even myself should have never seen. How can any man say he is any part of a man when he lets his only hope for true love slip through his fingers. How can he say he is anything of a man, if he does not try everything in his power to save a single life that matters. This is my story and the only reason I can no longer consider myself as a man.

Growing up I never knew who my mother was or even what my history included. I was always told that my mother died when giving birth. I do not know why but I could not believe what my father would tell me. Something was wrong but I could not figure it out. As time went by more and more about myself I could not figure out. It came to be that I was faster than anyone around me. This I could not explain. With more and more practice I was able to refine my skills, not only with the sword but also with the spear and lance. While my father wanted me to follow in his footsteps, but that was something I was unable to do. No matter what I did I would always fail with anything that was too heavy. So I stayed with what I was goof at. When I reached adulthood, my time had come to find out who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. With my final words of goodbye, I was off. To seek out the truth about who I was and what I would be able to do.

It seemed like years of walking but I still was unable to learn anything about myself. I had made it to everywhere that could be found on foot and yet I was still with questions I could not answer. I am not sure what caused it but I was pulled towards this strange tree. Something about it caused me to feel that the answers would soon be reviled. As I put my hand upon the strange tree, something happened. I was frozen and could not even move. I thought I had fallen into a trap and would not be able to find out the truth. Then there it was. A faint voice in the background. It was hard to understand but I couldn’t even find it in myself to fear. Instead the voice felt like I know it for my entire life. A women’s figure moved closer to me. I couldn’t tell what was going on. While I could not recognize who this women was but I could tell that she was not there to hurt me. A second figure walked closer to the woman. It was easy to see that they were not humans. I continued to look as the two moved even closer to me. I was still unable to move but there yet again I did not feel as if my life was in danger. Finally as the women put her face in front of mine, something in me mind clicked.

“Are you my mother?” With a nod of her head, my search was now over. The only problem was before anything else happened everything went blank. When I awoke I was no longer near the tree that had trapped me. Instead, I was back in my home town, but something was different. As I walked through the town, I found out that everyone would not even look at me. I knew that time had passed but not much was different. Also it seemed that my clothing had changed as well. I thought nothing of this and continued to my home.

When I finally reached my home, it too was different. I walked through the door only to find an old man in my father’s room. When we began to talk I found out that this old man was my father. It seemed that over 100 years have passed since I left. Something was wrong with this because it did not feel that amount of time had passed. What could I have been doing during that time. As I thought more about this problem I was facing, strange memories began to race through my head. They were images I could not remember but something inside of me knew that they were all true. As I came to see my father one more time I saw that he was too weak to talk about anything else. Instead with the last of his strength and will, he was able to had me a short dagger. Nothing seemed to be special about the dagger except for the small writing on one side. With my final goodbye to my departed father I began to search out again for my mother and the truth behind it all.

(There was more but I thought that it would be better to include the rest in Haru’s
flashbacks during the story. Hope everything is all right. As for the dagger, it is not a weapon I will be using but with my picture it just seemed to fit in. Thanks.)

Everything looks fine so far, and your history can be long, it doesn't matter. However, your race cannot be "Human-Elf". You're either a human, or an elf. Considering you want to be a Lancer, you'd end up being an Elf, because that is the only race that can use that class.

But other than that, it looks good. Keep it up. ^_^

(i still wanna read your history though, so i'll check back later.)

the reason behind the human-elf thing is that i am going to be a full elf but i was raised by a human father. The history goes bye it like that but i guess i should have made that one clear. Just it would have been better with the history included.

Okay, but race is for "exactly what you are". If you're going to be an Elf, please, to save us confusion, just put Elf. Though feel free to write your background as you wish.

I am now done. Hope this is ok. I will be explaining the rest of his background in falshbacks later on. Bye

Okay, cool. Though a Lancer cannot be faster than the other Elves, who would more likely be Rangers. That just defies all laws of reason, seeing as how the Elvish Lancer is the most heavily armed of Elvish forces, with the most armor as well.

And you may not, I repeat, not, use that Dagger in battle. You may keep it as an heirloom for the sake of your own character's history, but it is not a weapon to be used in battle.

Other than those two things, welcome to Dark Isles. :D
