Character's Name: Valcrist Sid Loreborn
Race: Human
Height: 5'11
Weight: 170lbs
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Light Brown
Element: Spirit
Physical Description: About 25 years old. Broad shouldered with fair skin, hair would stretch just below the ears but is usually brushed back, out of the eyes. Facial features are sharp, but not harsh, and a powerful intelligence shines brightly in the eyes. Though slim, years of travelling and battle have given Valcrist a well-muscled physique. Wears leather gloves and a chainmail shirt stretching just below the waist, around which is a belt which holds a dagger, mostly used for survival purposes. Below the waist Valcrist wears a simple pair of brown pants and brown leather boots. Wears a long, loose hooded overcoat when travelling.
Personality: Reserved and introspective, generally not a big talker unless strongly motivated. In this case Valcrist will sometimes speak out in anger and often make rash decisions. In general though he keeps to himself, but has a strong savior complex. Critical of others and moreso critical of himself, he constantly seeks answers as to why people behave the way they do.

Background: Was a young knight in White Cloud with no outstanding achievements other than the feat of surviving the seige of Tharkas Castle. During the seige Valcrist fought bravely, but witnessed his family being slaughtered by an Arch-Demon when they were attempting to flee to relative safety. Valcrist was emotionally crushed. Out of dispair he left the army and turned his back on the church, feeling spiteful of the organization that had claimed that God would protect all non-sinners. For years Valcrist spent his life just looking for money where he could find it, and lending out his skills to anyone who could give him something worthwhile in return. Gradually though, Valcrist has turned his mind to pondering life, and protecting those unable to fend for themselves. In his own way he feels that this will somehow help him atone for his not being able to protect his family. Although, out of necessity, most of his time is spent looking for pay, Valcrist seeks redemption in the act of keeping other safe. That, or through revenge.
Okay, sounds interesting. I can't wait to see what you have to offer Dark Isles. ^_^
