Physical Description: Tonio Asura is a young man with long, light brown hair that seems a dark brown except if viewed as seperate parts. His hair is tied back typically with a strange green ribbon, ancient runes running up and down the ends of the ribbon. Most of his body is concealed beneath a dark cloak that seems to be made of many different colors when viewed from different angles, poking from beneath the cloak is a sheath for his Rapier. The sheath seems a bit lacking, as if though it was originally designed to hold something quite different. His body is light and agile, a bit thin, though not unmuscular at all. Beneath his cloak is a simple green tunic and black loose pants, both designed to allow him a freedom of movement in combat while offering maximum light protection. His hands are covered by simple leather gloves, helping to keep his grip on his sword in times of need, as well as offering meager protection from a grazing cut. He wears dark leather boots, simple in design, strong enough to allow a person to trudge through rough environments, but light enough so as not to wear the person out. His eyes are a dark brown, almost black in most light, a look on it of one that has seen many battles, much suffering, and much sorrow. Bangs of hair rest near his eye, his whole face having a gentle look to it despite the battles he had obviously faced.

Personality: Tonio Asura has a generally cheerful and optimistic attitude outside of battles; spending his time to relax, drink elven wine, spend time with his love, and practice his martial arts. However, in battle and immediately before, his personality is quite a bit different, analytical in some ways, searching for the best way to deal with his enemy. His rapier is swift and deadly, killing his foes without any mercy. He moves efficently, though hasty in battle, his hastiness tending to get him caught in battles he would much rather not want to be in. Despite this, he is loyal to his friends, willing to sacrifice his life for a few of them.

Background: A brief bit of a history lesson now, though certaintly not for Derhlith. Tonio Asura came from a royal family in another realm, abandoning his birth right when it become apparant that it was not the life for him. He traveled from realm to realm, a wanderer, fighting many battles, learning many techniques, and harnessing his innate combat ability to a new level, giving himself an edge against the many people of his realm.

Eventually, with the powers of the dieties granted upon him, his power grew exponentially, giving him the ability to travel at will between the planes. He did this for quite a long time, eventually growing tired of his eternal wandering, returning to his home plane to seek out another way of life. He became the leader of a group of knights devoted to protecting peace, his sword being careful to slay only evil.

He met the guardians of many realms, including Renyoku, learning of much in his travels. Unfortunately for him, his journeys seemed to fall short when he died, sacrificing himself for a noble cause on the field of battle. Saving his friends and a town in a drastic attempt to save a town from a powerful elemental. His body was placed in a grave in the realm of Chronos, the land of Nodel Leshere, the now dead Guardian of Time.

Over time, his spirit became restless through the afterlife, realizing he still had much to do. Upon a blessing to him, his body reincarnated anew as human, losing all the great abilities he had gained over time. Without the power to travel through the realms, he returned to wandering, again honing his skills to become a force to be reckoned with.

It was in these travels and many adventures he found the love of his life, Lain Iwakura. Though both were young, one human, one elvish, they married in a long since forgotten realm, the ring Tonio Asura gave Lain being an elvish ring given to him by an old friend. He devoted his life to protecting his love no matter what, being granted a minor reincarnation ability from the new Guardian of Time, so he could endure a life time of suffering just to protect the love of his life.

It was then he came to Hypeltheon, using a weapon given to him from the Guardian of Time to cut a hole through time in space to transport himself there, having heard stories of an ancient realm created long ago. However, immediately upon arriving, his powers were sapped away, drained from his body by the quite different energy of the land. Without his swords power, they became lost to him in battle, forcing him to rely on skills he had not in a long time. Without his ancient sword, he was no longer able to shift between realms, finding himself in Hypeltheon until he could recover his sword and find a way to shift it to the energies of the realm.

Note to Derhlith-sama: Can I PLEASE at least keep this history? I found a way to remove ALL his normal powers, he's unused to a rapier so he can't use it in only one hand easily or anything like that, so it still falls upon the lines of the Ranger Class. So it should work, right?
