Tell me, what is the draw of The World?
Do you find yourself among the flashing blades, the rending claws? Do you dive into that which is insubstantial to marvel, marvel at the miracle of what our hands have wraught? Do you fly to the comfort of this other reality when your own feels so harsh? Is it because you are running? Or are you bound by a circle of others, ghosts across the blackness? Do you gain some thrill from numbers, from watching numbers climb, abstract concepts bound to simulated strength? Do you do it for respect?

Why do I play? Well, I don't like the real world. I hate it. I play to escape it, and for once, delve into another personality, and get away from everything I hate.

Same here. I come here to experience something that I never could in the real world. Some of the landscapes here are just so beautiful, I never want to leave. This is why I come here, to enter my fantasy world.

This game to me is like a different life. Not so much a play on my own, but a whole new one all together. What I am in the world is what I wish I could be, sort of. Sure, I wish I was rich and had girls pouring over me, but we all know that will never happen, so it would seem fake. I play this game to make it seem as if I was a completely different person, with his own feelings, his own mindset, his very own story, and, that's about it. Not to escape, but to live differently.

Playing in The World lets me play in an area where I'd love to be. Everything's abnormal, and that I'm someone I can be whom I'd wanna be.

My Graphics card sucks it doesn't really matter to make it better at all. Unfortuantly I dont get the privilege of seeing it all and its lagging like a Mofo. So all of you can suck on a lollipop with your good graphics <_<

I play for the similiar reasons, It is fun to dream about being someone i'm not... and The World gives me the chance to do some of that.
Does anyone else play to be someone they are not in real life?

Ha , It really really bugs me seeing males play as female characters.... its even mroe disturbing seeing another guy hit on the female character when I know a male is playing.... its enough to make you throw up.

I have another reason as well. I love to challenge myself... I look to solo some, and to take on worlds 5-10 levels above where I am at.
Does anyone else out there enjoy a challenge?
