We're trying something a bit different. If you choose to take advantage of this new feature, you will be paired off with an experienced player who has been on Divergence for some time and knows how things work. That player would be able to help you out when you have questions, perhaps help start you off with questions, and just overall be another person who'll be trying to make your experience more enjoyable.

What if your big brother/sister doesn't play .hack//DIVERGENCE?

... it isn't talking about your real brother/sister. It's talking about a veteren(of sorts) on Divergence comes and sort of adopts you as his/her little brother/sister.

^_^ I've decided to take responsibility for running the Big Brother/Sister Program here, which should make Rayo's life a little easier and should prove interesting. Kenshin and Darkmage2003 will be going with me. There were arrangements prior to their sign-ups, so it doesn't add any work that wasn't going to take place anyways. Trunks Reborn is assigned to the skillful Cypher. If Naru can get Sydofh to post here accepting being a big brother, then the two of you are set. The same applies for Bushidomaster and Reinier. In the case of Subliminal, just get Fuzzhead to apply here too. Even though you're going to quest with me, he can take you on a quest after that one and currently meet you at the hippy event. He can also give you advice on your first quest even if he's not in the party, and answer your questions.

Also, I'm making a change to the sign-up rules. Players who want to adopt a novice and help him/her out can now apply here, which makes pairing people easier.

Well, KamiKaziKiwi is already helping me out a lot with just about everything (not like you, Lugiablaster, and a couple others aren't Rayo). It's like we're already brothers.

Next time don't be so quick. The reason I want to be a big brother as opposed to being a little brother is because I have a sense of my own. I have some experience here, and a working knowledge of how to do things, and don't like people critiqeing me unnecessarily (that's what my friends of more experience are for). I posted in the special event thread that I wanted to be a big brother, also...
