Your fight can begin.

Link was once again dozing in a papazzan chair at the base. He heard the jingle of an incoming v-mail. Opening his eyes he pushed the new mail icon above his head. The message came up on a holographic screen.
"I accept your challenge... yada yada... meet me at... mhmm... no items. Emerald." Braveheart suddenly popped over the top of the chair.
"Reading fan mail?” he asked brightly.
“No. I just got a sparring partner.” Braveheart read the v-mail and smiled.
“Emerald, I’ve heard of her. She’s a Wavemaster. What’s with you and the wavemistresses?”
“Beats me,” Link said getting up, “maybe it’s my old Russian charm,” he finished flipping his hair back.
“Yeah, right,” Braveheart replied rolling his eyes. Link picked up and strapped his sword to his back.
“I just hope this isn’t a repeat of my last duel.”
“What, don’t you want to win?”
“Of course I want to win you blockhead. I’m off, hold the…”
“Wait,” Braveheart cut him off, “It said no items.”
“You are right comrade, here hold these.” Link gave Braveheart the contents of his pockets, all his items and scrolls.
“Hey, good luck out there. Never turn your back on the enemy, and never say die!” Link took the steps two at a time and paused at the entrance to let his eyes adjust to the light. He thought the old aqua capital was at its capacity today with the crowds. He pushed his way through trying to get to the chaos gate.
“Make room, one side, gangway, coming through, gimme some elbow room!” He reached the mirror-like chaos gate and entered the field name. In a few seconds he was standing once again on a darkness field. Not seeing his opponent he began warming up and shadow fencing.

(hmm...I just remembered that we have to keep track of our sp, you need to post it at the end of every post...*cough*)

"hmm..."I thought as I aproached the gate in delta server..."I feel like I need to be somewhere...but...where?" I kept thinking untill my little sister showed up...

"whatchya doin?" she asked my reply was slow...

"thinking...I feel like I'm missing something..."

"If I help you can I watch?"

"sure...I guess..."

"You have a duel scedueled in 5 minutes."

"you know whats wrong with you Amy? you have a better memory then me...that is so...uh...backwords..."so me sister sat down...I entered the keywords and suddenly I appeared in the field...My opponent in front of me...looking around him..."hello!" I said in my girliest voice...which made my "friend" jump..."are you ready?"*looks at clock*"we have like...4 minutes to talk."

"Just fight!"

"SHUT UP!"...the enemy looked confused..."sorry...my sister is talking loud enough for fer voice to get picked up..."

"Siblings, such a pain in the ass, thats why I'm glad I never had any" Link thought as he smiled disarmingly. "Think nothing of it, I am an only child, or was since I'm not in my home country. If you will notice, I brought nothing but my sword, as you requested. I'm not much of a talker, but let me ask you this; how do you feel about hackers?"

"yeah...I hate and love her at the same time...hmm..." I kept my gaze on my opponent...blades not yet drawn..."hackers...that depends on who, some are good and some are not...and I am a big talker!"

"Fine, have at thee." Link charged at her. As he got close enough he swung his sword like he wanted to strike her but stopped and threw his old standby right hook.

while my opponent slashed at me and I attempted to block it.....bad move..."AH!" managed to find its way out of me as the impact of my foes fist found my face..."ouch..." I look at my enemy, "I wont make that mistake again!" then I back off a little..."Gan zot!" I wonder it it hit him...or the post right infront of him...either way...it'll touch him...

"heh, won't be using that again anyways," Link thought. He backflipped as a mound of earth destroyed the roman column where he used to be. As he landed on his feet he jumped over the retreating attack and ran at his opponent. He leveled his sword at her midriff as he got close, letting his momentum send it through.

As my opponent charged at me with his blade leveled perfectly at my waist I waited for him to near, just before I would have been run-thru, I side stepped and I swung my cypress rod...I aimed for his head..."you shouldn't try that again..." I said.

"I'll have a headache tonight," Link though getting knocked in the back of the head. He did a handspring, twisted around in midair, and landed with his feet spread out. He flipped his sword around once and smiled.
"You got me, ouch," he called as his coat settled. "Shes good," his wispered under his breath. "well, where brute force fails, try some stratagy." he flipped off a tree to a rock, bouncing to another rock and flipping off that right onto the head of Emerald's outstretched wand. He then sent a vicious front kick at her head

when my opponent landed on my staff he forgot to take into account that it would pull me to the ground, when this happened I simply fell with the rod and tried to punch my foes stomic...

His foot completely missed her but she managed to connect her punch with his thigh. Link did a front flip and landed heavily on Emerald's back. He then cartwheeled off her to let her up.

While the gan Zot apeared rigth in fron of her, Emerald was able to slow down just enough to execute a backflip off the newly...grown rock, while in mid-air, she turned so that when she landed she would be facing her foe...and upon landing she mearly looked towards him with slight anger...and this time, stood still.

after that attack emerald was extremely ticked off and was also curious...but she would let that ride...she looked angrily at her opponent before pointing her rod at him "I accept a piece of you, you haven't hit me yet!" emerald was realy to ticked to think clearly for a moment...but when she finally calmed down she again looked at her opponent and ponited her staff at him, "RUE ROM!" she approprietly aimed her skill towards him...but he could possibly dodge in in the second he had...

"two... one..." just as the ice crystals formed Link rolled forward thereby avoiding the attack. He dusted himself off, and smiled maliciously.
"Wrong! I got that punch in, remember." He then ran up to Emerald and stuck his sword in the ground. Using his sword like a fulcrum and his momentum he swung around sending a kick at the side of her face.

After an attack from her oponent Emerald took a moment to get up, and just in time to...link was coming to land another attack, Emerald ran a short way to the rock she had been at earlier...and she used it to her advantage when link was close enough, Emerald did another backflip off the rock and attempted to knock him unconscious with a hit to the skull...

Once again Link made like a tire to avoid some form of attack. Emerald soared over him as he prepared to hit the column. He struck it feet first and bounced off it. He flipped around and landed facing away from Emerald. He flipped his sword around and stabbed behind himself.

Luckely for me, I wasn't on the ground when Link stabbed behind himself...however, unluckely for myself, I wasn't going to land on my feet. While I could couse damage to Link before landing I thought wise not to...so a second later I hit the ground face first because I didn't notice the dune edge before I jumped, this mistake rendered me KO for about 10 seconds...I started to get up...

"Didn't work, gotta give her credit," Link thought as he heard a sickening thud behind himself. He ran up the column and stood on the tip of his toe as he waited for her to recover from that little disagreement with the ground. His arms were folded across his chest and he felt like a flagpole as his coat flapped in the breeze. He watched as she picked herself up slowly, painfully.
"That, looked like it hurt."

Emerald looked at Link with a strait star, deep in thought...a melle attack was always out of the question, and magic right now was not smart. Turning to run? bad Idea... how about standing still? that seamed to be the best choice. Emerald took a defencive stance that would help her to block most melee attacks from her oponent...sinse he couldn't cast a spell yet, that was his only offensive. Thus When He came in for an attack, Emerald would block to the bet of her abilities...

when her opponent spang up and raised his sword, Emerald was anticpating an attack as it were. The slash was going to hit her legs but instead of blocking or countering right away, Emerald jumped over the impending attack, and while in the air she swated her thick stick towards link...

She jumped over his blade while bringing her rod down on him. He felt the lump on his head; that would probably leave a mark.
"Ow, why ya hit so hard?" he said in his best brother voice. "All right," he continued, "lets get it started. Juk rom!" A glowing green disk formed under him and green runes in the air around him. Then leaves materialized and started swirling around like in a twister.

"because I don't apriciate being played with like this." came Emeralds answer to his question...before Link cast Juk rom, Emerald had already landed so she has a full second to get away when Juk sounded. Emerald made the most of it and was easily far enough away from her oponent...she looked at her opponent and pointed her rod at him before the spell was finished..."RUE ROM!"...

"All right, now its a party." He backflipped and avoided the swirling leaves and ice shards. As both clouds of death cleared Link had an unobstructed view of Emerald. "Oh and by the way, that was a hypothetical question." He then ran at her yet again and swung high to relieve her of two pounds in the form of her head.

Link once again came charging at Emerald, who was again patiantly waiting for him to near...when link got close enough, Emerald ducked and was right in front of her foe...there was no realistic posiblity theat he wouldn't be tripped and no possibility for Emerald to avoid getting a kick to her face...she'd just have to recover soon after...

Emeralds opponent had decided to take the action she had feared...she was now laying a foot from where it had happened...her face was somewhat bloody and something wasn't right...Emerald sat up, and thought for a moment..."wait" she said "where'd my staff go?" she rose to her feet looking around herself untill she saw it... thus she ran towards her rod, which was nearer to Link then to her.

"Flying through the air, with the greatest of ease... focus doofus," Link thought as he watched Emerald soar a foot from his strike. Her cypress rod went flying from her hand. It landed near Link as she crashed for the second time that day. Link considered grabbing the rod but thought better of it; it wouldn't be sporting to fight an unarmed opponent. He just stood there as she got up and dived for her weapon. Once she was armed Link let loose his skill, as she was right next to him. "Crack Beat!"
