8 HOURS?! I'm a Spidey fan... But isn't that a little MUCH? And I think I've heard the longest movie's like 26 hours long and it's in India...

The_End_Cypher - June 21, 2003 11:14 PM (GMT)
Actually I think the longest was a japanesse one...30 hours or something.

Wanderer - June 23, 2003 05:02 AM (GMT)
I doubt they'd make a movie that takes more than a day to watch.

Mitsarugi - June 23, 2003 02:08 PM (GMT)
8 HOURS?!That's just.......unusual....The last Spiderman was about 3 hours.....But 8 hours?!Who made the movie?!*Pants* Okay, so, it's 8 hours ne?And that's the plot?Sounds good.......

The_End_Cypher - June 23, 2003 03:23 PM (GMT)
8 hours seems too much all at once...I think I am going to rent it...

Nikkio2003 - June 24, 2003 02:04 AM (GMT)
8 hours..that'd only have, what, 2,3 showings a day in the theatre, unless they ran all night too.

Elius - June 24, 2003 03:16 PM (GMT)
If its 8 hours long, it would have to run all day and night to be showed 3 times. I think that they should break it up into parts so no one would have to sit through an eight hour movie. ;)

strato - June 24, 2003 03:59 PM (GMT)
Eight Hours is a loooooooooong time for a movie it would need to have like two or three intermissions for everyone to stop by the restrooms or go out to dinner or something like that. I'm not trying to disprove you Rayo but I don't think it is really eight hours that's way too long for a movie to be shown in theaters

ooc:ahem. Do not refer to the posting as a player like us. We are putting news up. Don't think of it as us. Its just news, its ic. :nono:

VIRAL DRAGON - June 24, 2003 05:45 PM (GMT)
Well now that I think about it... most people have seen mabye 5-6 hour movies at home.. one such could be .HACK//Sign because it's a series of TV episodes that all connect with each other, and as such a movie is just a series of screenshots that all connect with each other in a logical sense, so in theory, a long running TV show could be considered a movie.

Mayko - June 25, 2003 09:38 PM (GMT)
:offtopic: (OOC: yay I get to use one of the new smilies for this. Viral Dragon, this is In Character, there is no .hack//SIGN when your in character :nono: , please keep this in mind :D )

The_End_Cypher - June 25, 2003 10:36 PM (GMT)
Hmmm I wonde,r if I saty watching the movie, do you think I will make a world record? :woot:

Black_Swordhunter - October 19, 2003 03:09 AM (GMT)
I dont know if you will make RECORD time but it would proably be a waste of time..............................................

Wait! This was last posted in September? great, I'm just wasting my time, huh?

Kamina - October 20, 2003 12:06 PM (GMT)
I don't know if it would be a waste of time, I mean ppl were watching the Battle Star Galactica marathon last Monday. If its something you like that well, you'll sit there for 8 hours....I truly think that at the moment that was said, there was over 8 hours of clips and stuff and that they're going to spend the next few months editing. (at least I hope so cuz I got to live, go to school, fart...you know...life stuff)

Dart Harthfield - October 25, 2003 12:40 AM (GMT)
Yeah maybe 8 hours is a bit long. If it's a good movie i would watch it. by the way the longest movie was made in the united states at a movie college. It was made by four college students and was called "The Cure for Insomnia". It was over 48 or 58 hours long and was played in its entirety in about the year 2000. Making it a very old movie considering.

FXOmniCrest - March 29, 2004 10:45 PM (GMT)
The longest movie I ever watched was the never ending story. Over 6 hours... or was that 7?

richard_berserk126 - July 13, 2004 11:40 PM (GMT)
I can't wait for Resident Evil:Apocolypse to come out...though It will be hard to sneak from theater to theater.
