The alarm clock goes off and immediately Marc jumps out of bed. He rubs his hand behind his head and looks around letting his eyes adjust to the daytime. He winces and shakes his head walking to his door as he does everyday now and shuts it immediately. He walks over to his computer and turns it on. As it boots up the phone rings. He thinks about ignoring it but eventually walks to it answering it. It was his friend that told him about the game. Marc answered weakly.

"Yeah?"

"Your about to get on aren't you? I haven't seen you once since you started." The voice on the phone says.

"So I've been busy..."

"I'm sure you have...here meet me here at these keywords. Plenteous Momentary Scaffold."

Marc opens his eyes a little more.."fine...later.."

Marc immediately hangs up the phone turning back to his computer finally it was up. He immediately logged on and started up the game as he sat down. He slipped on the visor and clicked the Log-In button and is instantly flashed and brought into The World.

Those three golden rings appear over head and slowly making there way downwards a head appearing and then followed by the rest of his body. Tsurugi looks around a little bit before he immediately turns and looks at the Chaos Gate.

"I better go now so I can keep him occupied."

Tsurugi looked over and remembered he hand changed his lance to a new weapon. He twirled it now having the Spear of Spell. He knew it was much stronger and couldn't wait to try it. He twirled it around and called out the words.

"Plenteous Momentary Scaffold." The Chaos Gate spun slowly.

Three golden rings appear over his head and drop down quickly his body instantly vanishing. In the playing field it was obviously a fire type field cause everything was smokey and the ground almost seemed to glow. Tsurugi blinks and steps back slowly as the rings disappeared and left him in the playing field.

"Hey Marc!"

Tsurugi winced his eyes hearing the voice wondering how his friend had the game for so long and he still acted like a newbie.

"It's Tsurugi..."

"Oh I see...Tsurugi is it...well my characters name is GeMeNi."

"So why did you call me here..?"

"Because I haven't seen you in awhile so I figured this was the only place to meet you."

Tsurugi's eyes motioned over his friends weapon. He noticed it was a large wand and he shook his head.

"A wavemaster..."

"Yep that's what I am...a wavemaster. And your a long arm. By the way nice weapon."

"Yeah thanks....so you wanted to tell me something or just do a quick adventure."

"Yeah an adventure would be great Tsurugi..let's get started."

Tsurugi nodded as GeMeNi ran around a little and then he stopped and ended up walking along side of Tsurugi it still being a little too early for eagerness. Tsurugi and GeMeNi continued to walk across the molten rock underneath their feet hearing it hiss at them with each step. The sounds akward and almost disturbing as they continued to walk heading off in the direction of the dungeon.

Tsurugi keeps his head down as they walk noticing his friend kept looking at him. He lifts his head and looks at him with an agitated face.

"Why do you keep looking at me?!"

GeMiNi shakes his head and laughs lightly shrugging and turning facing foward as they continued to walk along. Tsurugi stops hearing the swirling and the noise of a Monster Portal spinning. He turns to the side immediately seeing 2 large hell hounds running towards them. GeMiNi lets out a yell and jumps back immediately calling out a spell not knowing what he said. Instantly three flaming rocks fly out of the sky hitting the hell houds.

"What was that?! They're fire so you hit them with it..."

"Sorry I wasn't thinking..."

Tsurugi didn't really feel like taking any damage so he decided to end this. He held up his new spear it glimmering somewhat as he called out the words.

"Rue Kruz"

Instantly that aura came around his legs and bursted away as if to summon something. Instantly the hell hounds froze in there tracks as a large serge of water came pummeling into both of them. Instantly the slam into the ground a elemental hit being administered to them. They fade away slowly and a yellow treasure chest appears.

"Yeah! We did it!" GeMiNi says.

Tsurugi shakes his head and points to the treasure chest.

"You keep it..."

GeMiNi runs over to it happily and taps it with his wand hitting it as it opens and he turns and smiles showing him what he got.

"I got a ressurect.."

Tsurugi nods and motions for him to keep following. They both walked noticing a large structure raised above the ground with two posts infront of it with flames lit as torches. GeMiNi's eyes light up knowing they finally made it. He runs up to the entrance and stops in his tracks. Tsurugi turns the corner seeing a monster portal planted directly near the entrance stopping them for now. The monster portal spins and drops one fire magician as it floats on an orb. Tsurugi knows he shouldn't give it time to attack and immediately runs to it slashing upwards hitting it, instantly following up with another easy 2 hit combo knocking it away and out of commison. The monster fades away slowly and Tsurugi turns noticing GeMiNi had already entered the dungeon.

"Damn fool.."

Tsurugi immediately walks down into the dungeon entrance. His eyes peer around looking around for his friend. He didn't think he would run ahead of him.

"GeMiNi?!"

Tsurugi continues to call out hoping to get a responce. Maybe he did take off ahead of him. Tsurugi shrugged and continued to walk ahead down the long darkened path. As he reached the end he had realized the Monster Portal in the middle. It was almost as if frozen for a split second but instantly began to spin. Tsurugi narrowed his eyes wondering if what he saw was real, then his wondering was distracted by the grumbling of another fire magician who was summoning a spell. Tsurugi couldn't move as the spell was already keeping him entrapt. A large flaming rock fell upon him causing minor damage. He can't move and eventually broke out and immediately ran and slashed back and forth finishing it off. He brushed himself off and looked around again.

"GeMiNi!!"

Tsurugi took the path to the right and walked down it slowly wondering exactly how far he could of gotten within that little time.

Maybe he used a speed charm...?

Tsurugi made it out of the path and looked around for GeMiNi once more. No where in sight except a motionless Monster Portal in the right corner.

I knew I didn't just imagine it was stopped...

Tsurugi walked to it and it still stayed motionless. Tsurugi slashed around it a bit to maybe jump start it and nothing happened. Tsurugi reached his hand out slowly to touch. As his fingers slipped past the transparent ring everything froze for a second. Then everything shifted and his visors cut off. Everything was black and Marc sat in his chair, the screen jumped and the visors flickered and everything was white. Tsurugi just stood there in the middle of the white field. Tsurugi looks around and walks though it doesn't even feel like he's walking. Instantly something flashes and a black dot appears on the ground. Tsurugi walks over to it and kneels down placing his hand over it. The black dot moves away and slowly it begins to mold into a tall form. It instantly begins to define and two blades form where hands would be. Tsurugi's eyes light up when seeing the two blades, he instantly remembers the last time he saw those blades. He stepped back slowly and the black form molded finally into a character.

"Surprise..." The dark voice called out.

"You?!?!" Tsurugi steps back some more.

"Did you miss me?"

"Not this again...let me go or I'll..."

The dark voice interupted again.."You'll do nothing...not with your friend to our disposal."

"our...?"

Another voice calls out from nowhere, it's that dark womans voice.."Hello Tsurugi.."

Tsurugi looks around.."Who are you?"

"It's none of your concern..."

Tsurugi winces his eyes as he steps back slowly looking around. Tsurugi looks to the man in black and holds his new spear back. The man grins and spins both blades as he looks right back.

"We're not going to go through this again..." Tsurugi says.

"Just cause you have a new weapon doesn't mean you'll beat me."

"I don't want to fight...just let me and my friend go and I won't come back."

"Too late.." The voice booms from the sky.

The man in black immediately runs at him twirling his blades getting ready for an attack.

Tsurugi quickly lifted his lance blocking both blades. He struggles his arms shaking from the force holding back the blades as best as he can. The man leans his head closer to Tsurugi's face and grins speaking to him.

"Give it up..."

"What am I to give up? What do you want from me?!" Tsurugi growls.

Tsurugi pushes his lance up knocking the man backwards somewhat. The man instantly lunges foward quickly bringing down both blades once more. Tsurugi turning his lance side to side countering blow for blow. Tsurugi jumps back and falls to a knee and looks up.

"Leave me alone...Just let me go..."

The voice booms from the sky again..."Stand down..."

The man in black stands back slowly and Tsurugi stands to his feet. He looks around to the sky and looks around for the source of the voice.

"Tell me now who you are?!" Tsurugi shouts out.

"Me? I'm just a simple player." The voice continues to boom.

"Why do you keep doing this too me.."

"It's quite simple...it's because.." The voice crackles out with a laugh somewhat.

The man in black bleeds into the ground and becomes a black dot and eventually fades away. Everything begins to shake and the sky begins to shatter as if glass. It begins to break and fall, eventually all the white shatters and disappears falling to the ground. Tsurugi covers his body with his arms to protect himself from the falling shards. When everything becomes silence he hears a voice call out to him.

"Tsurugi! There you are I've been waiting for you."

Tsurugi lifts his head realizing it was his friend.

"GeMiNi?" Tsurugi looks around realizing they're in the dungeon.

Tsurugi walked over to GeMiNi and looked at him.

"Are you ok..?"

"Yeah I'm fine Tsurugi...why?"

"No reason.."

GeMiNi motions for him to follow as if nothing happened and they were picking up where they left off. Tsurugi was starting to wonder himself if any of this happened. GeMiNi moved on ahead and Tsurugi followed behind him slowly. As they entered the next room nothing seemed differant. The Monster Portal spinned just as normal and GeMiNi immediately began to run to the 2 Fire Magicians that were dropped. Tsurugi just sort of went along not really into it at the moment still thinking of what had happened. He just slashed slowly back and forth not noticing that GeMiNi had already finished off the one he went to. After about 2 minutes Tsurugi realized that he was just slicing thin air. He shook his head and turned walking to the downward path GeMiNi following behind him slowly.

Coming around a couple of more corners not really into it all the way. Tsurugi's mind was almost elsewhere his eyes lowered to the ground. Every once and awhile a monsterportal here or there would open and then the monsters would come and then go within a minute or so. They just seemed to breeze by the dungeon and it felt as if Tsurugi was never there. Eventually looping in and out of passages and heading downwards. Eventually walking downwards he is stopped and pushed almost backwards. He stumbles and regains his balance looking to what hit him. It was his friend.

GeMiNi speaks..."Are you ok man?"

Tsurugi pushes him away somewhat..."I'm fine don't worry."

Tsurugi pushes past GeMiNi and forces himself to the other room followed by his friend. He walks into the other room and continues to zone out as they enter other rooms. Monster fights after monster fight not even realizing what's going on just making his way past the monsters and destroying them one after another. Eventually coming to and end as he looks around and sees the large gott statue infront of him. Immediately the piercing yell of his friend is heard and immediately turns facing him thinking something happened. Though it was just GeMiNi jumping up and down like a fool since they had made it. Tsurugi didn't feel like he deserved much of anything though it was good experience while he was running through. Though it still puzzled him that the small incident happened to him. He still pondered if it happened or not and he rubbed his forehead.

"Open it GeMiNi"

He jumps for joy and runs over to it placing his hand on the slab of rock. Instantly the ring begins to spin around the floating statue and it shakes falling over to the sides hitting the ground hard and he looks over seeing GeMiNi jump for joy happy obviously getting something good. Tsurugi gets his stuff and like nothing just leaves GeMiNi in the dungeon enjoying it just wanted to get out. He immediately logs out his body covered by those rings making his body disappear.

Marc pulls the visors off his head and logs off the internet. He sets the visors down and falls back on his bed staring up at his ceiling all this too overwhelming for him. The phone rings and he leans over reaching pulling the reciever up.

"Hello..."

The voice of his friend.."Hey Marc why did you leave?!"

"Not now..." Marc says.

Marc rolls back over and hangs up the phone bringing his body back upwards and continues to stare up at the ceiling his eyes just slowly closing wishing he could get to the bottom of this without having to hurt himself.
