As the three beautiful golden rings begin to fade away Amicus begins to look around the city so that he may find a companion to go this new dungeon he had discovered. But seeing that it was a level 2 dungeon he wanted someone to aid him with his journey through it. So as soon as the three rings dissappeared from sight he began running through the city to search for a new companion. Hey maybe he could even get a fellow wavemaster to join him but who ever it was the extra strength was much need. During his long hours of searching through the city he saw no one who looked worthy enough or good enough for taking this journey with him. Everyone that he had seen seemed to excited about talking with everyone in the city or just buying things. Amicus wanted someone who he could search the deep depths of every dungeon with. Someone he could trust with his life. But it looked like he was going to be able to find these traits in anyone inside The World any time soon. So after hours of searching he finally decided to take a brake and headed back to the Chaos Gate. But when he there he decided to wait there to see who came out and if they looked able or dedicated to the real purpose of The World he would approach them or maybe they would approach him. So Amicus just waited on a wall in front of the Chaos Gate to see who would enter into this city of useless people.
"If no one joins up with me then I will be forced to take this journey alone."
Then as he said these words if this misfortune were to be his fate , which happened so often, he thought to himself am I ready to go alone.
"If I have to then it will be a true test of my skills but still it would be nice to have someone to go with."
So he decided that he would wait for a few more hours and if none would help he will go alone to prove to himself that he is able.
Two days after his first adventure, Rai-Dei approached the Chaos Gate in order to give his new equipment and strength (he had gained two levels consecutively in the same dungeon) a test. As he drew nearer he caught sight of a wavemaster waiting there alone. He wore a long black robe with symbols all over it and had black and green hair which seemed to cover his left eye. Rai-Dei encountered him with a friendly smile.
"Hi. Waiting for someone in particular? If not, I would be glad to join you and offer my assistance. We would probably make a good team because I'm level 3, and a newbie, and you appear fairly new yourself." After a moment, he quickly added, "I don't mean that in a rude way, though. How about it?"
As he looked at the the man who approached him he was sure that this person was the one who would make a great alley in his journey of becoming the greatest wavemaster.
" I will gladly except your help. But it seems as if we are the only one's so let us start our exploration. The keywords are Bursting Haunted Scaffold. The level is only level two so I hope that is not to easy for you seeing as you are of a higher level."
So they both walk toward the Chaos Gate and say the keywords to the desired area they were seeking.
And three rings surround them both so that they can take them to their destination.
When they appear at Bursting Haunted Scaffold they both are side by side waiting for the rings to dissappear like they have seen so very often in there adventures with The World.
"Well Amicus where should we head to?"
"I think we should play around on the field a little bit to get a little battles in first that way we can see if we are kind of ready for the dungeon."
So then they both head for the nearest portal which was to the north of them to see what it hold within its shiny rings.
As they approach it confidently the portal dissappears and reveals two Mad Grasses.
Amicus having faced theses before was ready to fight and knew how to battle them effectively.
The same went for Rai-Dei. Moments later Rai-Dei rushes into the two monsters ready to destroy them while Amicus sits back ready to chant his spell upon the duo of Mad Grass.
As the two surround Rai-Dei who is ready to slash them. Amicus hastily preparing to cast his spell.
"Gan Zot" as he yells these words mountain like figures pop up from the ground piercing the two monsters chomping at his newly made companion. But the spell was not enough to defeat them so Rai-Dei unleashes his crosh slash skill upon one of the while Amicus uses another Gan Zot upon the other. After these two devistating attack the two monsters fell looking like a wilted flower at first glance. Soon after they disappeared into data dust.
They both a little tired from the previous battle use repth to heal there wounds. Both of them then head toward the next portal. Running toward the portal they then see that there are three monsters this time. Rai-Dei runs straight into the crowd of beast. The beast were a Swordmanoid, Disco Knife, and a Mad Grass.
Amicus not sure if he can handle it hesitates at first but then looks at Rai-Dei and is inspired to see that no matter what happens he goes on swinging his blade at whatever they through at him. But the three monster had surrounded Rai-Dei and had started to take away his HP quickly.
"Repth" This replenishes him and he begins fighting better than their first battle together.
"Rue Rom" and as the tornado he had summoned knocks the monsters back it gives Rai-Dei the chance to attack the monsters one by one. He then turns to the Disco Swords and slashes them to bits with his cross slash which happened so fast Amicus could not even see him move his blade from one side to the next.
"Impressive" Amicus then use Gan Zot and destroys the Mad Grass which had been weakened by his previous spell. Which left them both with one more monster too destroy.
They then look at the remaining Swordmanoid and rush in at it Rai-Dei with his sword gripped tightly ready to deliver a devistating blow and Amicus with his wand held with two hands ready to pound the creature. They both rush in at the same time and hit it with all of their force and hit it dead on. And when they look around all they see is the Swordmanoid fall to the ground and fade away.
So they then decided that they are ready to head for the dungeon and run to it as fast as they can. Soon they are at the entrance of the dungeon and Amicus could not believe how fast his heart was beating. He knew the game would be like real life but he didn't think it would be this real. But this did not hold him back he ran straight into the dungeon with Rai-Dei so that they can make it to the Gott Statue.
As they ran through they dungeon searching for the exit going south for two areas then they approach another magic portal. As they approach Amicus thinks that he is ready but what he didn't know is that this was a totally new and higher monster that he had not seen before. As they both approach the portal a Deadly Moth is revealed. Amicus not sure of what to do because the creature was so big he just casts a spell while Rai-Dei runs upon the monster. But the Deadly Moth was fast and evaded his spell and dodged most of their attacks and now it was the moth's turn for an attack. So it rushes past Rai-Dei and toward Amicus being that it was so fast. Amicus noticing it plan to late is hit by it and falls to the ground hurt but luckily Rai-Dei was prepared and used his Repth to heal him. So then the they both get ready to attack the creature with their best skills as Rai-Dei runs up on they monster ready to use his cross slash Amicus is begining to use his Gan Zot skill to stop it in it's track. So then the Deadly Moth rushes toward Amicus againg but this time he was to late he had been hit by his spell and was slowed down giving Rai-Dei enough time to catch up to him and use his cross slash. Think it was gonna be over the looked at the monster seeing it begining to fall. So they both, having it surrounded, hit it with their weapons to deliver the finall blow.
After that battle they both needed to heal themselves alot. So they bothed used repth and rested a little while so that they could regain some SP.
Amicus could not believe that he had defeated that Deadly Moth but he knew that he could not have done it without the help of his new friend. Cause if he had gone by himself he wouldn't have made it past their second battle together. So they head out again running from room to room trying to find the way to the next level and finally they had made it to the next one they were on the second basement floor. But Amicus and Rai-Dei knew that it would only get harder from this floor on because they knew the farther you go within the dungeon the tougher it gets.
After exiting their first room they began to clutch their weapons because they knew that sooner or later a battle would have to go down before they had reached the next level of the dungeon.
The next room they entered a portal had been there. They then prepare for another hard battle. But this time they were ready for this battle because it had been another Deadly Moth by itself. Since they knew how to defeat this foe with ease they just used their various skills to bring it down to size.
As soon as their battle was over there were left to choose between to exits one to the east and west. They had chosen the Western path and to their suprise there were no other monsters on the route they had taken. And since it was a straight path that they had to follow they had soon ended up at the next stairway to go deeper into the dungeon. So they proceed to the Third basement floor to see what it held for them.
They then begin to follow the path. As they run through every room with no battle they then begin to think that they are getting close to the end. But then they come to a room with an opening to the West and South. They being tired of going south choose the west exit and follow that path and as soon as the reach another room that changed directions they did the same again.
Soon enough they get a room with another portal within it. They run toward it and to their suprise it was a monster they had not seen before on there journey through this dungeon. It was a Snip Snap. They both confident run toward the monster ready to attack it with all of their power. But to their suprise it was stronger than they had thought almost finishing off Amicus in one blow. So after Amicus had healed himself he began casting spell after spell until he couldn't any more. While Rai-Dei is dodging the monsters attack and waiting for the right time to strike it when it is open to an attack. Soon he sees a moment to strike and uses his cross slach attack upon the Snip Snap wounding it enough so that Amicus could kill it with his spell which was released right after Rai-Dei had finished unleashing his attack.
After seeing the monster fade away they both start walking again to the next room and there was the exit they had been searching for. They then walk toward it hoping that this was the last level of the dungeon they would have to complete before they would get to the Gott Statue.
OOC: Sorry yet again for the inconvenience I've caused, Saban. I wish I had known sooner that i'd have to work today :P. Anyway, I'll give this my best shot.
OOC: Btw, if I make your character look alittle weak, please don't take it personally, I just want to stay realistic here. A level 2 field is pretty tough for a level 1 warrior. It evens out because you've been doing really well up till now ^_^
Rai-Dei and Amicus at last reached what they thought to be the last level of the dungeon. Rai-Dei sighed. He felt almost as though he had been holding back up until now. Was this the best he could do? Was this all that a Level 3 Blademaster was capable of? Maybe he had set his expectations for his new level gains alittle high, or maybe Rai-Dei himself wasn't a proficient warrior at all. These doubts brought on alittle more determination to the blademaster. He had to prove his own worth, right here, right now.
"Careful," he warned as they prepared to enter the second room, "It will get rather dangerous after this point."
The wavemaster nodded bravely. Rai-Dei admired Amicus...He was only level 1 in a level 2 field, but he had still been carrying his own weight and helping out a bunch. He seemed to have ample knowledge of all of his spells and used them in combat well. He should make a good wavemaster, in time...
Entering the next chamber in the vast dungeon, the two warriors encountered two Snip-Snaps and a Deadly Moth, all in the same portal! Rai-Dei raised his sword with the fervor of combat and his need to prove himself fueling him. Amicus raised his wand and prepared to cast some spells.
Rai-Dei charged the first Snip-Snap, slashing it hard across it's face. It screeched in pain and began to retreat, but he didn't let up. He jabbed it with his sword and sliced at it twice more additionally, only connecting once but doing fair damage. Meanwhile, Amicus casted Rue-Rom on the Deadly Moth as it closed in on the occupied Rai-Dei. The blademaster hadn't noticed the Deadly Moth until Amicus' assault, which did good damage. However, the attack did not halt the enemy completely and it whacked Rai hard in the back before he could react. Amicus quickly casted another Rue Rom and managed to kill it. However, immediately after the second Snip-Snap casted some sort of spell on the wavemaster, paralyzing him. Unable to move or attack, Amicus was completely vulnerable at this moment and the second Snip-Snap closed in.
Rai-Dei was too busy to notice much, pursuing the first crab-like monster, swinging his sword furiously but missing quite abit. When he finally managed to catch up with it and connect, falling the creature, he turned just in time to witness Amicus getting pummeled by the remaining opponent. Rushing to the wavemaster's aid, Rai-Dei performed the mighty Cross Slash, killing the crab. Amicus was released from the spell.
"You alright?? Those things can be a major pain, sorry I didn't get to it sooner." Rai-Dei said.
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." Amicus said. Each casted Repth, handling the duty of healing, and proceeded into the next room.
Here they found yet another portal, this one materialized two Magic Goblins and a Swordmanoid.
"Perfect!" Rai-Dei shouted, "These enemies are really strong so be on your guard!"
Amicus knew that the Magic Goblins were magic users so he prepared to have abit of a showdown with them, while Rai-Dei had a similar match of skills with the Swordmanoid. As Rai-Dei rushed into battle, a strange feeling came over him. Before he knew it, he felt the pain of inflicted damage, but the Swordmanoid nor the Magic Goblins had even touched him. He paused, confused, and was hurt once again. Only a miniscule amount, but still damaged. It was internal...Rai-Dei realized that this was Poison, cast upon him by one of the Magic Goblins. He glanced over, seeing Amicus in similar shape. Rai-Dei's hand shot into his item pouch and he withdrew an Antidote. He only had two...Obviously one for each of them, but it would mean that if they were poisoned again they would have no hope of being cured until they could escape the dungeon. Just as he was to call out to his companion, he was struck hard in the back by the Swordmanoid's blade. He grimaced in pain as he hit the stone floor painfully.
"Damn it...They've always got to hit be in the back, don't they?" he muttered. He rolled over to see the enemy above him, about to strike down at him with his sword. He rolled out of the way of the sword just in time, but his evasive movement was jerked to a temporary stop due to the poison. He surveyed his surroundings quickly to see that Amicus, despite his condition, had killed on of the Magic Goblins with a well done Gan Zot. As he prepared another spell he called out to his comrade.
"I feel strange! This must be poison, right?!" Amicus asked.
"Yeah, take this!" Rai-Dei shouted, throwing the Antidote to him. Amicus was surprised, but still caught the bottle. Rai-Dei quickly pulled out the other bottle but was sliced deeply once again before he could administer the vile. His HP critically low, Rai-Dei literally threw himself away from the advancing Swordmanoid to by himself time. He hit the ground and slid all the way to the wall, drinking the Antidote as he slid across the floor. At last, the effects of the Poison ceased and he could return to battle. The Swordmanoid was coming fast, and the Magic Goblin looked like he was getting ready to cast another spell! Amicus was about to take care of the Goblin, but first he realized Rai's plight and instead focused his energy into a Repth, targetted to his friend. Rai-Dei felt his health return.
"Thanks!" he shouted gratefully. Not wasting any time, Rai-Dei charged at the Swordmanoid.
I have to kill the Magic Goblin first...I can't risk it poisoning us again. I have to get past the Swordmanoid, though...
Thinking on the dime, Rai-Dei acted on pure impulse rather than organized thought. Instead of attacking the sword wielding foe, he jumped, landed on it's head, and then jumped off, therefore getting past it to the Magic Goblin. The Swordmanoid, although a programmed monster, was actually kind of surprised. That was a new one...
Rai-Dei quickly killed the goblin with two well aimed strikes with his sword. Relieved, he turned to face the last opponent.
The Swordmanoid charged him. Rai-Dei had faced a couple of these before, so it was nothing new. Besides, now he finally had the upper hand as far as strength went. He charged as well, dealing a healthy blow to the enemy's shoulder. The Swordmanoid countered, but missed, and Rai-Dei connected once again. Just as he was going to finish things, a tornado of leaves appeared around the Swordmanoid, killing it. Amicus' Juk Rom...Rai-Dei turned to him and thanked him. They entered one of the doors on the far wall, having two to choose from, and by luck entered upon the Gott Statue. Rai-Dei stepped back.
"You can do the honors. After all, this is your first dungeon." he said.
Amicus walked up to the chest and opened it, finding...
Amicus +1lv. +Earth Wand
Rai-Dei +safety shoes
