Title: Zavier vs. Ryok and Izumi vs. Rude and Cloud
Description: vs. Hacomy and Heironeous
Rayo - August 31, 2004 06:32 PM (GMT)
Your match can begin now.
Arcion - August 31, 2004 09:24 PM (GMT)
(Slightly edited to account for a misconseption)
Since he was one of a kind in terms of class, and he hadn't learned how to use the class to its maximum potential, Arcion made plans to be the first to the field once it opened.
He warped in and sighed. Archer class would be at a disadvantage with nothing to hide in or around. The best he could do was get a distance away from the group. I have a feeling I'm not going to last long. Adding to the complications was that the teammate chosen for him was his last opponent, and friend's rival.
"No melee defences, so I need to be paired up with a physically strong player." He was, it just gave him another thing to worry about while the fighting was going on. He didn't know much about any of the other contestants, other than that Lyra had teamed with Kiwi to fight his clan, and he had a feeling he wouldn't be lasting long in this competition.
"I guess this is as good a spot as any." The tiger said and turned back to the island that he had appeared on. He took his bow from his chest and felt the runes of his clan members weapons shifting. He was on his own in terms of clan, and he fought for the group in this fight. The lone tiger of the clan, making a stand in this fight. The islands he and the other players would load onto would probably be the main target of the teams, so he moved off of his and Hacomy's island to the blocks.
He drew an arrow to his chest, to the rose above his heart and aimed in the direction, waiting for rings to appear.
"Crucified laid behind a stone
You lived to die rejected and alone
Like a rose trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all."

Zavier Dragonus - September 1, 2004 02:32 AM (GMT)
Once Zavier gave the coordinates of the playing field, he went there. Who could reach there fast than him, the only person to know where they were going? He appeared, on top of a stationary piece of ground. There was a similar piece of ground for each group, about 8 stones in between each. Needless to say, there wasn’t a lot of safe ground on this field.
He knew that his wings would give him and advantage…but, at the same time, he didn’t want to overuse them. After all, duels of this type were meant to be fun, and so he wanted to actually have fun, no matter if he lost. The sun blazed overhead, casting a great bit of light onto the water. It didn’t seem to give off any heat, even thought he temperature of the water had already been predetermined by the field. He put his right hand in it and felt it…yes, it was lukewarm. That way, he wouldn’t freeze to death. Being the only player who could feel things in the world of those who would be here, it helped that he didn’t have to worry about his blood slowing down in the water. Also, swimming would most likely become very important. He smiled as he looked around the field…well, water field.
“This could be an incredible place to fight.”
Zavier flapped his wings into the sky, soaring high into the clouds. He was looking down, when he saw someone warp in. “Time to stop flying,” he thought as he got ready to descend. He could make out the person…holding a bow and arrows? He had heard about this class of fighters, an update to the world…but he had never actually gone up against one. He was very wary, and was a bit worried. If this person could attack him from long range, he would have to be ready. Luckily for him, he was stronger and faster than him, so that added some comfort. Zavier flew until he was right above the character. The character’s attention seemed to be focused on another patch of dry land, where he thought someone would appear, and to an extent he was right; someone would appear…
“…just not me.” He slowly waited until he was above the fighter and slowly began to descend, using his wings to make sure that he didn’t move so fast that he make any whistling noises. Even if this player tried to look up and shoot an arrow at him, Zavier had the sun right behind him; there’s no way he would be able to get a good sight. Zavier slowly put his hand on his Order sword, the blade faster than the other. Hopefully, with this one strike he would be able to hurt this opponent. And what would happen if this player tried to dodge out of the way? Well, he would have to focus and try to make sure he landed on one of the other blocks, and then he would have roughly 5 seconds to stay on it. Zavier laughed to himself, a smile gracing his lips.
How would this player avoid this situation? Zavier was inches away and ready to strike…

Rude - September 1, 2004 04:50 PM (GMT)
Rude walked aimlessly around Mac Anu. He was window shopping after leaving himself pretty broke after buying some cards to have fun battling with. He felt miserable and really wanted to be able to buy a new weapon or have money to raise a cute looking Grunty.
He had suprisingly bumped into Leila earlier that day and she had just been to see her little Grunty named Nanaki. It was so adorable with its big, soppy eyes and high pitched voice. Rude decided to sit on the bridge and gaze into the water as he usually does. It really relaxed him doing this but today he was eager to have some action.
His heart suddenly jumped a beat as he heard the weird soundly "ting" noise which meant a new flash mail. The flash mail was from Zavier, the leader of the Unity clan which he was in. It was about the duel Rude wanted to be in. Rude's eyes widened as it said that the duel will start in 5 minutes time. Yes finally something to do!
Rude grabbed his spear and ran towards the Chaos Gate. The duel was being held in a water field, a field Rude had never been before. He was also partnered with his good pal from the Unity, Cloud. It was going to be very tough because he and Cloud were both low level and this would be a problem because Zavier himself was involved too and his level was a great deal higher. The other players involved he had never met and this excited him lots.
Hope Cloud gets to the field quick or I will get my ass kicked! Rude arrived at the gates and said the keywords for the field. He loved the sensation of travelling to the field and enjoyed seeing the golden rings engulf his body.
Rude's smile soon faded once at the field. Not far from him was an archer pointing a bow straight at him. He had never come across an archer before and didn't know their strengths or weaknesses. He suddenly noticed not too far above the archer that Zavier was floating above him using his powerful wings to hover in mid air. Rude hoped Zavier would distract the archer so he himself would be safe...

Arcion - September 2, 2004 12:38 AM (GMT)
Another player loaded into the field on his team's island and the archer adjusted while the rings still loaded the data in. The player seemed poorly equiped considering Zavier, Hacomy and himself were such high levels, but for a moment the archer considered stealing the players bandanna for Repth.
He had no extra head armor, but his teammate could possibly lend him any gear holding the ability, as Arcion would be in the back of any fight that occured and had the SP count of a high-level light armor class.
He should have the most SP considering he and his clan seemed to contain most of the higher level characters in Mac Anu and his light status raised it even further. Only Zavier seemed to be a possibility of more SP, and all of his armor, and both bows carried skills that required little SP compared to his total, while most of the other classes skills increased in cost as the strength went up.
The character had loaded now, and the tiger was about to release his arrow, when he noticed, more by the air movement than actually feeling the part move, that his ears and tail were twitching. While he hadn't been a tiger long enough to know what them doing that meant, and hadn't done deep enough research to see if it indicated anything to his species, it seemed a good idea to move.
Hunched down to lower his visibility by the players warping in, the only way he could move quickly was to roll, and the tiles weren't thick enough to allow that to keep him dry. If nothing else it wouldn't affect his skills, the arrows were SP and wouldn't be affected, and the bow string would dry out quickly with no cover from the sun, water on his fur could slow him down.
He rolled, and spotted Zavier as his face was turned up just before he plunged into the water. He paused to decide wether to swim to another block, or resurface where he was and hope Zavier had moved on. He couldn't see, Asai's eyes simply would not allow it, if he tried the person's eyes would simply water to the point that everything would be a black blob anyways.
He was too far away from his original island to be fairly possitive that he wouldn't be attacked as he surfaced, so he decided that simply waiting for an audible sign that something was occuring other than above his head would be a good idea, and slid his bow back in it's place and waited.

Jordan awoke the next morning around 9 in the morning. He walked into his kitchen to get slapped in the face by the smell of bacon and eggs. His mom layed out the food on the table and Jordan wolfed down the food. He headed to his room to see who was on MSN and AIM. Only a few of his friends were on, but then he got a flashmail from Zavier the leader of his clan. It was about the duel that he was s’pose to be in. The duel started in 20 mins. Oh man I got to hurry if I want to get there in time. Jordan grabbed his headset, threw it on his skull and grabbed his controller and loaded up the world.

Welcome to the World.....
The rings faded to reveal Mac Anu, one of Cloud’s favourite places to be. He walked around running into some people he knew, he talked to a bit and walked down the river. At the river was very calming, he took a seat and stared into the river for a few miniutes. He quickly got up and ran to the Chaos Gate. Cloud warped into the area where the duel was being held, he hoped he was not too late.
The area he warped to looked awesome. It was endless field of water with small stepping stones spread out evenly down the whole field. He heard a commotion to his left, he tilted his head to see an arrow whip past him. Rude came running towards him, “hey man you’re a bit late”Rude said. Cloud looked over to where the arrow had came from, he saw the leader of his clan flying around while the archer was distracted by him. “I think we should make a game plan” Rude said. They discussed some ideas but then they decided to just run into the fray and hope not to lose. As they were heading off into the battle Cloud called out to Zavier “I got a spell with your name on it”.

Zavier Dragonus - September 2, 2004 06:18 PM (GMT)
Zavier was close to slicing into Arcion…so close that he could taste it. Out of peripheral vision he could see someone else gat into the field, and saw Arcion respond to him. Arcion seemed to be trying to crouch or something…possibly to get a better shot. It was better than Zavier could have hoped for. He was right about to execute his move when Arcion rolled to the side. Zavier was a bit astonished. He hadn’t realized the tiger qualities of the players would allow him to sense and detect movement as real animals did. Nonetheless, what was done was…
And then he looked at Zavier.
Zavier cursed inwardly. That fated move allowed Arcion to see him, even if he didn’t realize that Zavier had been there in the beginning. Arcion responded fast however and rolled into the water a short ways away. Zavier then heard, “I got a spell with your name on it!” It was Cloud’s voice, a member of the Unity. But he had a bigger obstacle ahead of him. An archer in the midst, a class he had never dealt with, worried him more than the other two fighters on the field at the moment. However, vice versa was also true; almost no one in the world had ever dealt with a dualist.
Zavier landed on the tile entrance that Arcion had just been on. He could still see where Arcion had rolled into the water, obviously trying to stay submerged. He decided not to give him that chance. He quickly jumped into the air, keeping a mental image of where Arcion still lay. Even if the creature had tried to swim, which would be very difficult given his tiger-like properties, he wouldn’t have gotten too far. Zavier held his hands forward, water energy gathering. He would cause an upheaval in the field…at least, localized in the area where Arcion was. As the energy finally gathered he launched it forward.
“Rue Blast!”
The huge wave of energy hurtled towards the place where Arcion had gone. He was sure Arcion would not be able to hear it right away. The essence of the Rue Blast was that it sounded very similar to the moving water of the field. It would only begin to sound like crashing waves when it was about to collide into the water. The blast would continue a ways into the water, damaging anything in its path or surrounding it. Which left a few options up for Arcion.
If he stayed there, he would most likely be obliterated. He was level 16, but that was no match for a level 32 move such as this. The water energy, intensified by the fact that it would be operating in water, would cause a whirlpool of destruction. So, needless to say, Arcion would be devastatingly hurt, if not obliterated immediately.
If he had moved away or decided to move away, the chances were he would still get hurt. He just wasn’t fast enough to dodge an attack of this magnitude and size, and at this close range. It would take the blast little over a second to reach where he had gone under, which he had done so only mere seconds before. So, he would still get hurt that way.
And then, what Zavier wished for was his next option. If Arcion came up, being damaged and trying to ride the concussive blast and surface, Zavier stood ready. His Vak Cyclone, a powerful and broad move, would ripped into him, effectively ending his stay in this game.
Needless to say, dodging into the water was not the best option. As the energy wave hit the water, Zavier landed, then jumped up again. At any sign of Arcion he would perform the Vak Cyclone, whether it be Arcion himself coming, or some silly little arrow.
Then his attention could be turned elsewhere.
He held both swords in hand, ready for anything

Rude - September 3, 2004 01:18 PM (GMT)
Rude's jaw dropped at the site of the attack that Zavier had just unloaded. There was no chance of anyone surviving that. Rude could feel the power of the attack as the stepping stone he was on began to shake from the after effects.
Rude turned to Cloud. "Cloud I wouldn't use your magic attack just yet, see if this archer can slow him down a bit. Thats if the archer survived that attack."
Rude knew Zavier was strong but never expected an attack of that magnitude. His best bet of surviving was just to use his quick agility and dodge most things until the high level players had worn their SP out. He hoped because him and Cloud were of a low level that they would be ingored a little because they weren't much of a challenge. There was no chance of surviving an attack like the one Zavier had just produced. I so can't wait to be really powerful!
Rude waited in anticipation to see if the Tiger player would surface from the water...

Hacorie - September 6, 2004 05:13 PM (GMT)
It was a usual day in the town of Mac Anu; The sun was shining, the water was shimmering, and the hustle and bustle of the city had not slowed down one bit. Everyone who was anyone was rushing from store to store, and others were just sitting around and conversing about their adventures and quests in “The World”. Listening to some of the worthwhile stories while he was walking, Hac felt his arm being nudged over and over again. He looked back to see no one, but as he looked forward again he noticed he had stopped in the middle of the city where everyone was passing by. “Oh, sorry about that.” Hac called as he started walking again and moved in with the crowd.
Getting up to the city center, the Heavy Blade took one of the many paths that were available and followed it to its end. A bright brown door then appeared as he looked up and with it a magnificent mansion. This place was where Hac called his home in the city. It was the Fatal Exception Clan house. He had met many characters here, and also found many of the secrets that lied within its hallowed halls. Just following the hallway, Hac watched the ground underneath him as it began to change to a crimson red color with little insertions on it. Taking one step back from the carpet, Hac kicked it and then watched as a safe silver appeared.
“Gah!. I remember the combination, but is it right left right . . . left right left . . . left left right . . . or right right left? This is really funny how I cannot remember, but I guess this shows me I should pay more attention to my surroundings. Ahh now I remember it is Right . . . - - . . . Left . . . - - . . . Right . . . - -.” A creaking sound then was made as the safe then opened itself and showed its innards. Quickly taking his pack off, Hac inserted some old items in which he did not need anymore. “Well that about does it.” Hac said, and as he stood up on his two feet the safe closed by itself and the dial spun where no one could know the last number. Unless, they already knew it of course.
I think I have made them wait long enough. I guess it is time I make my entrance into the duel that I have been neglecting for the past few minutes. Even though it sounds fun, I really do not know how I will fair. Unlike other group duels, I do not know my ally and sense I have heard Zavier has changed classes, I do not know the new way he fights. I really feel like ticking him off this time though. He will have a little more work to do this time for I am a higher level this time, and I do not think his level has changed much, if at all.
Hac quickly exited the house and ran to the chaos gate and waited a few more minutes hoping to maybe when he warped in to catch his opponent(s) off their guards. He then looked into the sky and said the keywords he needed. The familiar sound of the golden rings touched his ears and then echoed in his head. The Heavy Blade then felt his body lift up into the air and then quickly fall. As he opened his eyes, the Heavy Blade saw the familiar wings of Zavier and with a smile the Heavy Blade got to his feet and drew his Moumokuteki.
The Heavy Blade then looked around to see the field was just what he needed for his magic, since most of his equips were water-based. In fact the only thing that was not water-based was the Moumokuteki which was darkness. With a small smirk, the Heavy Blade stood up and pulled down the hood on his cloak revealing his light blond hair that was as golden as the sun, and his blue eyes which matched the clear water of the lake. He notices that there were small slabs of stone all around him for movement. With a small smirk, Hac started hopping from slab to slab watching the dualist as he got closer. A figure in the water then caught his eye. It was that of an archer. This was Hac’s partner, and his name was Arcion. The Heavy Blade stayed silent for a few seconds and then just as he was about to start to move again Zavier shouted something out. “Rue Blast!” The duelist yelled as an immense energy was unleashed from his palm and sent a gigantic wave going toward the Archer. I can see this attack will be quite devastating if it hits my ally, but it is too late for that now. I need to strike Zavier while his attention is turned to him.
The dualist then planted his feet on the ground and jumped in the air. As he did, Hac knew it was the ample time to strike. “Rue Kruz!” The Heavy Blade shouted as he pointed one of his Fishing Gloves toward Zavier. Bright crystalline shards then came up from the ground and formed a circle around the outside of Zavier. They then began to circle the dualist in a clockwise motion. Quickly the Heavy Blade jumped in the air toward the ice and watched it start to close inward toward the target. The ice then stopped and all the sickles and shards pointed toward Zavier and started to converge on him I wonder how he will get out of this one. As he drew nearer to the ice and Zavier Hac shouted another skill.
“Ani Smash!”
His Moumokuteki lit up and began to glow a pitch black color, and Hac already had his sword over his shoulder ready to strike the first slash. Hac then looked below and was glad that under Zavier was stone, the one he jumped off of. Good that will be perfect for the second part of the attack where I plant my sword in the ground, do a handstand and then slash him once again.

Arcion - September 6, 2004 10:10 PM (GMT)
Arcion felt the blast of energy released by Zavier's attack through a shudder in the field and began trying to swim away as he would if he were for a human, leaving his tail and ears to drag on the current he was trying to create. He swam with all the strength he could as the blast struck the water nearby him and started to pull him back.
The archer figured this was his end, before any of the other participants had even entered the fight. He was tempted to raise his head above the water, simply to see, regardless of the fact Zavier was probably waiting for him from where he had landed, when he heard a voice attack the dualist. He really didn't care wether it was his ally, or one of the enemy, it would distract the higher class and allow the tiger to reach safety from the attack.
He lifted his head, still paddling madly to keep out of the whirlpool the attack had created, and forced his eyes open, grabing onto and pulling himself to the other side of the block just one away from where Hacomy was attacking Zavier.
He shook his head once he was out of the current and found that it worked just as well as the wipe he was about to execute to keep his eyes from watering. Instead he used the move to pull his bow out instead, as Zavier was using water attacks on this field, he would as well. His only water attack lay in his newly aquired Elvish Bow. Bracing his feet against the block, he aimed and loaded his bow, calling out the attack the moment before the arrow left the bow to give the stronger player as little time to react as possible.
"Arrow of the Maelstrom Sea" He called, willing the arrow to strike and didn't watch it's path. He then pulled himself up on the block behind him and shook himself dry before heading to find a new semi-defensable spot

Ryok - September 10, 2004 01:36 AM (GMT)
(OOC:Yea, I guess I'll fight alone if Izuni doesn't come.. =p I'll take Hac, Zavier, and HA.. =o thats a threat!.. what now?!..)
-Hrm.. So, if Izumi doesn't come.. then?.. I am fighting alone eh?.. Sounds fun. Now I haven't been at the duel I should be at for fifteen minutes now. That could be the whole duel to. Asuming that Zavier hasn't whiped everyone yet, or so I am told he is pretty strong next to everyone else who isn't under level five. This could get intresting with the duel area like this. Squares that fall into water?.. this is going to be.. uh, yea hard. What should I use for a weapon?.. Hrmm, the Omnious would be fun, but I like speed so I don't know. Hacomy has the Moumo.. The Omnious would be slow.. Good defense, but it wouldn't stand a chance against the Moumo. I think I might go with my Devil or Spider. Yea, my Winter Coat.. Hrmm.. Frost Anklets, and Bracers, and Wren's Time Headband. Heh, with the speed advantage I should take Hacomy out easily. Not first, but I should be able to. A trick is up my sleeve for someone.. Fwee.. This might get intresting. The field is unique.. As Zavier explained it the field is of floating rocks 3 feet by 4 feet floating on water. No, trees or land anywhere. Only three people can stand on the stones before they begin to sink. Heh.. Fun.
-Ryoks' feet sat two steps under him.. He sat upon the stoop of the Chaos Gate. His eyes set on the old church that acted as backround, and merely served for veiwing purposes. A deep pale shade of purple colored the middle of his eye the suns shine glistening off of it. His legs extended as he rose back up to his feet..
-"I need to get somethings, need to get to the duel before I can't get in yet, and need to think about my game plan. Heh, funfunufun" He said walking to the bottom of the stairs. He had such a way of thinking things over that if he did it anyother way he'd call himself crazy. The light walk turned into a jog that quickly turned into a run. He was anxious to get started although he didn't know if he'd be able to join still at the same time. He wanted this to be the frist time he pushed himself to win. Pushed himself to do his best in every way possible. He was sprinting now, and was already halfway down the alleyway to get to the AoDs' Mansion. He was set, and knew what he needed. Only one thing struck him as he stepped out of the alley. He needed nothing from the AoD. Everything he could possibly use he had with him.. If he needed anything from his stocks he had it all with him. A body movement occured, and he was running back down the same alley the other way. As he flew out of the alley he beared right, and stopped at Elves Haven. He dropped everything off except his Byakuen, Spider Blade, Time Headband, Winter Coat, Frost Anklets, and Bracers. Turning left he walked back to the foot of the steps again. "This is going to be one hell of a duel Whoo!.." He screamed his feet taking him up past the spot he once sat in. His feet skid to a stop as he reached the gate. He was set.. Everything he needed he had equipted. He stopped a second looking everything over. "Ok, good.." He said with a smirk. "Wait, the keywords were what?.. Why do I always forget them!.. Ugh.. Oh yea!.." He looked into the Chaos Gates' blue aura. Perplexed at how they got the shade of blue the way they did he stared into it. The silver ring spinning every so often causing the color to blank out of sight. The third time it had passed he snapped out of it, and called the keywords out. "My death awaits I move closer even though I wish it not."
Ryok said in a calm voice as the golden rings decended on to him. The familar ring tone to it that caused Kakashis' body to go numb. A black screen envolped the screen as his character was being copied on to a field. His sight fading in as his avatar appeared on the field the golden rings a symbol of him just arriving.
-He was set down digonally and to the right from Hacomy, and Zaviers' fighting. His eyes widened as a whole set of attacks took place before him. A tiger moving from stone to stone to get away.
-Obviously a Figment Rider an animal hack. The only figgy in the duel is HA.. So, that must be him. Well.. It's my turn to attack, and his back is to me.. Heh..
-"Ap Do" (Sp:15)
-He glew with the speed advantage..
-"Fwwee.. HA won't know what hit him." The clock appeared over his head. The muscles in his legs tightening.. "I should be able to catch up with that tiger easily. Heh, my turn to mess this up. Hacomy won't know what happened, and it'll be me against Zavier in no time" Everything became keen to its' surroundings. His foot.. It was wet.. Just a little, but it was. "Go.." He said starting at HA. "To end this all here.. This is all I have to do." He ran past Hacomy who was still midair with his current attack. Leaping from stone to stone gracefully.. Quietly. "If I can take HA down fast without Hacomy knowing this will be a sweet end to their team." Both of his blades the Byakuen, and Spider Blade both sheathed sitting on his belt. "A man slayer.. It's for looks only really." He laughed a bit, and bounded to the next stone. Right behind him..
-"KARIN!!"(Sp:30)
-His voice rung out across the water as he jumped into the air. He pulled the blade out from his sheath setting it ablaze, as it happened. The blade wasn't a fraction of a hair off, and came down on to HAs' position fast..

Rude - September 10, 2004 11:07 AM (GMT)
Rude peered over the rock he and Cloud were huddled behind. The attack on Zavier was definately a strong one from Hacomy. Now a new player had entered the field and was seeming to be hunting down the tiger character.
Rude turned to Cloud, "Thank god the big guns are focusing on taking each other out! I think only Zavier and the tiger player knows that we are here."
Rude looked over the rock again and saw the new player unleash an attack at the tiger player. Bugger he's a strong player too! Me and Cloud don't stand a chance. Rude looked around him to see if there was a better hiding position. He hated the fact he was having to hide, but he needed to if him and Cloud were going to win this duel. "Yo Cloud, should we find a better spot to hide or shall we just attack?"...

Arcion - September 10, 2004 03:31 PM (GMT)
Arcion heard the chime of another player loading into the field and sighed, there was a low level and a high level yet to enter the field and he wasn't sure which one it was. Danger flashed in him mind, with Hac occupied with Zavier he had no defenses other than his weakened HP against any attack. He dropped to all fours and pushed his legs harder to move so that Hac and Zavier were only in sight distance.
The call of "Ap Do" told him that the newly arrived character was most likely Ryok, a part of his team from the spring event if he had shown up. Even with a better speed of his class, he wouldn't be able to outrun a higher level character with Ap Do on them, he could only hope that they were using their increased speed to join the clash between Zavier and Hacomy. In case he didn't, the tiger intentionally missed a step, plunging him back into the water between the stones. He heard the sword skill being used, and thought he felt the heat of the blade before he plunged under the water and pushed himself deeper.
This is not turning out to be a fun duel, I've fired one arrow and spent most of the time underwater. With a water-muffled growl, the tiger turned and took his bow from his back once more and looked for the player that had attacked him.

Zavier Dragonus - September 18, 2004 05:23 AM (GMT)
Zavier had let the pulsating orb of energy strike the pool…lake…ocean of water. He had kept in mental check where Arcion had plunged, making sure to hit that area hard . His Rue Blast was a formidable attack; it was worth the incredible amount of SP it took to initiated it. As he let the blast go, he was looking for Arcion…
And then he was struck by magic.
Water surrounded him, a Rue Kruz spell hitting him fro mall angles. He was still in the air, both weapons poised out, and so he turned to look at his assailant…Hacomy.
He had dueled Hacomy before…and Hacomy had changed a great deal. He had gotten stronger since their last encounter, enough so that his attack actually penetrated Zavier’s new Holy Tree Mail, damaging him….slightly. And then, Hacomy’s classic follow up…he always followed up with another attack, trying to catch the fighter off guard. After tons of battles against incredible enemies, however, Zavier was slightly better than the average fighter.
So, Zavier did what he always did…he let the next attack hit him. Hacomy was in the air, performing his move…which left him right open. Although Zavier would have liked to finish off Arcion first, he could spare him. However, if he exhausted himself on these high level fighters first, the lower level fighters might have destroyed him…and it didn’t matter. Hacomy was strong and fast, but Zavier was far stronger and faster. His attack hit Zavier, although Zavier moved his body to avoid a direct, powerful blow. As Hacomy hit the ground, ready to perform the second part of the attack, Zavier let himself fall. His blades began to turn red…his eyes as well. His entire body began to swirl, mere inches away from Hac. Zavier watched him, knowing that Hac couldn’t stop his attack…and even if he tried to escape, he would get caught in his swirling attack as well.
If this attack didn’t kill Hac, which wasn’t guaranteed, it would do major damage to him. There wasn’t a single character in this duel that could take one of his attacks and walk away.
“VAK CYCLONE!”
His weapons spinning, a mere inch from Hacomy’s body, Zavier laughed inward. This attack would punish Hac…
And he deserved every bit of it.

Ryok - September 18, 2004 07:32 PM (GMT)
-The sound of his blade screeching across the stone hurt his hears as he landed where HA once stood. He was in the water looking up at him as if Ryok didn't know he was there. He stared back down at him looking at him almost about to laugh. His eyes shifted towards the sky, and he looked at the marvelous vast never ending blue that it was. No clouds.. The sun was out, and the water looked like it was warm. A perfect day except the fact that he was fighting through it. He needed another target.. This one seemed to fast for even his liking. He looked as his blade a tear almost forming in his eye.
-"My poor blade its bent out of shape.. It doesn't like rocks.. I likes flesh." He said
resheathing it, and pulling it back out. "Ahh, good as new.. Heh. Now lets see here."
Sheathing his blade he spun around taking no mind that the tiger still sat there. He
stepped a few steps from the tiger to make sure no surprise attacks were to come from it. Something made of metal reflected sunlight directly into his eyes his eyebrow raising to the thought of someone trying to hide, and he turned to it. He stared at it for a moment almost beginning to burst out in laughter. "What noobs.." He jumped to the next stone watching the blade sticking high above the stone. “So, how do I go about this?.. Err. I think I should focus on HA. I’ll wait then.. Heh..” Ryok backed from the stone turning right and stepping until he could see the blade above the stones, and the rock where he attacked HA.. His right hand touched his sheath his thumb pushing the hilt up showing a thumbs length of the blade. His left hand crossed his body, and grabbed the handle of the blade ready for any attack that’d hit him.

Hacorie - September 27, 2004 04:08 AM (GMT)
Hac watched as he started his small barrage of slashes with his glowing black and red sword, but just as a few of the slashes hit the dualist, the Heavy Blade’s eyes widened. Zavier’s Blades began to pulsate over and over with a glowing red tint to them. “A fire attack!” Hac exclaimed as he then heard a shout from Zavier. “Vak Cyclone!” The dualist then began to spin in mid air keeping his swords straight out and them making a twirling sound as they cut the wind. The fire that was given off from the blades was felt by the Heavy Blade’s body as he inched closer and closer to Zavier since he was in air and he was still in air.
A darker color of red then shone as Hac felt a tremendous burning in his upper chest and lower chest. The burning felt like the fire in the blade has been transferred to the Hac’s body. His very flesh was being eaten by the crimson blue flame. Hac quickly gasped for air as he started to fall to the ground below his body. I cannot breathe. Zavier is so powerful in this new form. I do not know if we actually even stand a chance. But I will never give up, I will never . . . Hac thought as he felt his mind drift off. His eyes still seemed open, and the Heavy Blade saw the rock he was on out of the corner of his right eye. As he looked straight, he saw more rocks, and two other players looking as if they were hiding.
The Heavy Blade’s vision then began to blur as he felt all the feeling in his body stop. His heart was slowing down. With one last blink, Hac saw only darkness. With the last amount of breath he could draw in he whispered a small spell. “Repth.” With this a small light engulfed the Heavy Blade’s body and kept him safe for a second. The small bits of fire that had not been put out were diminished and a little of the Heavy Blade’s health was restored. He was now about half full of health. “This should be enough for a while.” Hac said as he got to a knee and then looked back at the two players who tried to hide.
“No offence to either of you, but the little guys are like flies, and the flies must go before they become a nuisance.”
With these few words, Hac got up quickly to his feet and started to run toward the two. I do not really want to do this since it seems wrong, but they could become more of a pain then Zavier just gave me. Well, here goes nothing. Sorry you two, but you have to go. I would have to kill you however sooner or later. Though I do regret going after you two first. Goodbye. Hac thought as he edged closer and closer to the two beginners who looked like they were level one or close to that by their armor and weapons.
As he got close enough, Hac swung the Moumokuteki toward the Wavemaster one of the two.
“Goodnight,” he whispered as he watched his sword swing closer and closer to the Wavemaster’s skull.

Rude - September 27, 2004 10:35 AM (GMT)
Rude looked over the rock him and Cloud were hiding behind. He had wondered if anyone knew they were there. The answer to his question was a simple yes. Hacomy stood smiling at the two of them. Rude couldn't believe this player had survived an attack from Zavier.
Hacomy raised his sword high ready to bring it down on Cloud's skull. “Goodnight,” Hacomy whisphered and Rude responded by pushing Cloud out of the way of the oncoming attack, taking the full strike of the sword in the process.
Instantly Rude could feel his body dying. There was no way he could survive an attack from a plyer of such greater level than himself. The plan to hide had not worked and he hoped that Cloud could out run this player to saftey.
"Run Cloud, RUN!!" Rude managed to say in his last words in this duel. He felt a little annoyed that he was the 1st player to die in the duel, however, he was satisfied that he was able to prevent Cloud's death for the meanwhile.
Darkness faded his sight before he felt the familiar warmth and slight breeze of Mac Anu before him.
Arcion - October 4, 2004 10:28 PM (GMT)
Arcion stayed underwater, waiting for Ryok to leave or to drop his guard so that he could move or get a shot off and then move, but neither was happening. Through the spaces in the tiles the tiger saw his teammate crossing the area towards where the two participants of lower levels had been hiding.
He wished he had participated in one of the events from a while ago with the party and had aquired a breathing item that they'd sold there. Something like that would help his current position, allowing him not to have to come up for air where the heavyblade stood over him. He sent Hacomy a flashmail, asking him if he had aquired one, as it wasn't equipment it wouldn't violate the rule of no changing equipment, though it would the no items rule. He shook his head and sent a second flashmail, telling his partner to ignore the first.
He was running out of air now, and Ryok standing over him wouldn't allow him to take a breath there. The tiger grinned suddenly and began to swim around the corner of the block he was between across from his opponent. He wouldn't be able to attack through it, but it would give him a chance to breathe and probably several chances to attack.
His mind wandered to the pair of newbies that had been hiding, Hacomy had taken one of them out, but Zavier would distract him from the other most likely. Maybe the other should take damage even from the side of battle. His mind worked on a method to get over to the stones he had spotted them on and get Ryok to attack them while he dodged. It also worked on a plan to get him out of the water safely, his skin would soon be useless for drawing his bow if he stayed too long.
