Hello fellow players, I finally made my ".hack field guide 1.0". In part I was inspired by shades guide and his quenching thirst to help. Pipian - June 18, 2003 10:47 PM (GMT)
Just to add a few more level ones in a broad category:

Bursting Passed Over * is level 1.
Bursting Forbidden * is level 2.
Bursting Pagan * is level 4.
Hidden Passed Over * is level 1.
Hidden Forbidden * is level 2 (excepting Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground, which is Level 6 Water).

Note that I do not give the elements for any of these levels, so you will still have to look those up on your own, with the exception of the following:

* * Aqua Field is Wood
* * Holy Ground is Water
* * Sea of Sand is Fire
* * Fort Walls is Earth
* * Twin Hills is Thunder
* * White Devil is Water
* * Hypha is Wood
* * Spiral is Earth
* * Paradise is Darkness
* * Fiery Sands is Fire
* * Great Seal is Fire
* * Fertile Land is Darkness
* * Nothingness is Earth

Note that "*" marks a place where any word of that part (A, B, or C depending on location of the *) applies (excepting the one exception listed above).

Also note that these levels are off limits if Rayo deems it so.

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 18, 2003 10:54 PM (GMT)
Sorry to rain down on a perfectly good list and all but part of it is wrong. I've checked it over and some elements change. However, I can vouch for the levels being accurate. *Raises table that he wrote himself the shows that pattern is true.*

Pipian - June 19, 2003 01:15 AM (GMT)
Alright. I'm working on the tables. But the first list of types seems to work universally. Could you point me to examples that don't? Just for my future reference.

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 19, 2003 01:49 AM (GMT)
Set it to Bursting Smiling Spiral and notice how it becomes Earth or Thunder, I can't remember which. I know I checked through the types today and it changed at some point, but I don't remember where. The above words could be incorrect, but I'm sure it changes.

Shadow - July 1, 2003 03:07 AM (GMT)
Sorry for being kinda newbish  here but does that mean that Earth(or wood) dont have Dungeons  . I mean this by what The_End_Cypher said. Sorry that this is so far back but....I just wanted to know for my post on my quest. Thank you.

Phoenix512 - July 1, 2003 03:21 AM (GMT)
Every field except for Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground has a dungeon in it. You can make what the dungeon is like.

strato - July 1, 2003 05:07 PM (GMT)
I'm going to add to Cypher's list of level 10 areas because I check out all the levels on .hack before I start any adventure:

Closed Passionate March- Fire
Large desert, Afternoon
Monsters- Mimic, Red Wyrm, Rock Head, Dust Curse, Guardian, Hungry Grass, Flame Heads.
Dungeon has 5 floors.

Plenteous Law's Touchstone- Earth
Large desert, Raining
Monsters- Rock Head, Dust Curse, Red Wyrm, Scorpion Tank, Mimic, Guardian.
Dungeon has 5 floors

Plenteous Destroyer's Nothingness- Earth
Barelands with montains in the distance, Cloudy in the Afternoon

Dungeon has 5 floors

HellsAdvocate - August 18, 2003 10:45 PM (GMT)
actualy phoenix, i have found a couple without dungeons on them... i forget which ones(i dided b4 i saved it, and on another note, i hate mu guardians, especialy when coupled with the mehirns!) they were both on the triangle server thing though.

CuRiA - August 18, 2003 10:55 PM (GMT)
actually as pheonix said. all but the hidden forbidden holy ground (church) have dungeons. there have been no exceptions in either of the two games so far. sorry to tell you hells.........

HellsAdvocate - August 18, 2003 11:20 PM (GMT)
actualy, in the first one, there are at least 4 exceptions! hah i know that to be tru because they are the goblin tag fields. if u go to them, the only thing there is the goblin(only until u kill it), and nothing else.

*on the goblin note, i want ot know what the imp pin is! u get the goblin set for defeating them up to martina(equiping it all gives summon goblin), and martina(stacato is the best skill to use on her, and she can be beaten without anything but that, no speed, no magic) gives the key item, imp pin.

CuRiA - August 18, 2003 11:27 PM (GMT)
hmm right you are. i had forgotten of those fields. and you put on the goblin armors in the field, it allows you to summon a goblin. the imp pin also playes a part in outbreak and quarentine i believe. i think it allow an even bigger summon like the r ("r" is for racing. gob.)armors do. but i have yet to find a use for it.

other than that, i belive it is just a trophy, like the plastic sword.

HellsAdvocate - August 24, 2003 06:29 PM (GMT)
here some lvls i went through, i took down all the info i could on them, spring(and whos in it), #of portals(field and dungeon), grunty food(field and dungeon), quest relation, the trade items(the bile, wellwater, freshwater and stuff), dungeon lvls, number of chests/gruntyfoods in dungeon, types of monsters, field conditions(to the best of my ability) and the standard stuss(name, lvl, element, and gott treasure)

it takes up like 5 pages in my notebook that i took the info in, so im not postin it here, id like to get a email for some one with a good list started, so i can email the info to them.

goblin fields that i got in the game im getting the information on,
detestable golden...
sunny demon
messanger
i will get the rest later.

Ichida - November 7, 2003 04:41 PM (GMT)
I was just wondering...Is it possible for two players/parties to have a topic of the same area and still claim the treasure if everything works out?

Gojira - November 7, 2003 06:04 PM (GMT)
I think it would be ok. It could be that you did not go to the field at the same exact time, so you missed each other. Or if you wanted to be there at the same time, well... that's a little more complicated. If your going to join the group already there, then that would be hard unless both teams/groups/parties start a new thread, leaving behind the old ones and doing the continuation of the quest in a new thread. Or you could just have a chance meeting and leave it at that.

Aurora - December 20, 2003 04:05 AM (GMT)
Umm, i was wondering how yall "check" the worlds... Umm, how do u know the monsters....

(((OOC: is it, like, on the game or sumthin??? if it is, lemme kno...)))

Ichida - December 20, 2003 08:18 PM (GMT)
The guide TEC posted at the beginning of the topic should help. It's got some good information. Course, I could write my own, :P

Fortet - January 5, 2004 06:47 PM (GMT)
Hey, how do you go to a field, anyways? Just as a question.

Ichida - January 6, 2004 12:18 AM (GMT)
Create a new topic with the Field keywords as the Title in Subplots forum (here)

Yuki Sato - February 16, 2004 05:52 AM (GMT)
What about after you enter the field? Do you just say what you do after that?

Ichida - February 20, 2004 01:55 AM (GMT)
Yeah. Once you enter a field, you have the choice of clearing field portals before heading to the dungeon. You can clear as many as you want. Or, you can head straight to the dungeon to get down to the Gott Statue. Remember, every dungeon has at least 2 or 3 floors going down, identified by B1 or B2, for example.

Dragoon - March 6, 2004 06:34 PM (GMT)
I thought that if there was rain in a field, that field would be a thunder element. And if a field was covered in snow, it would be considered a water element.
Did I get them backwards?

Duo0017 - March 6, 2004 06:54 PM (GMT)
No, you got it perfectly right.

FXOmniCrest - March 7, 2004 07:42 PM (GMT)
But what if you go to an area where itself is a dungeon, like the one in .hack//infection where you get the long arm person who constantly tells you to leave her alone(something that started with a "c")?

Duo0017 - March 7, 2004 07:50 PM (GMT)
...Like a wood area. That's not a dungeon, it's more like a maze and then it leads to the dungeon. I don't know if we can use fields like that. I think Gardenia is the person you're thinking about.

Jinken - March 7, 2004 07:54 PM (GMT)
yeah thats gardiena and if you think about it you do enter a dungeon the field just isn't open

FXOmniCrest - March 7, 2004 09:25 PM (GMT)
Yeah, Gardenia. She was who I was talking about. Too bad we can't use forested areas, I liked those in .hack/infection...

Ichida - March 7, 2004 09:30 PM (GMT)
Yeah, you can use forest fields if you know which keywords give you one. Use the game for reference.

Kamina - March 24, 2004 01:38 AM (GMT)
That's a great idea! Now..if only everyone had PS2's and Infection at the very least

FXOmniCrest - March 24, 2004 01:54 AM (GMT)
I'll get to work trying to find some forest areas and levels for them along with elements sooner or later. Tommorrow, in other words.

Savior X - April 9, 2004 04:51 PM (GMT)
Let's say one party goes to a field and gets a Gott Statue Treasure from the mods at the end of their quest, and then another party goes to that same field, but later on. Can the second party still recieve a Gott Statue Treasure at the end of the quest from the mods?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

n/m about this, I found out the answer to my question. Mods, you can delete this post if you want to. Gomenasai

CyberGenesis - April 11, 2004 03:05 PM (GMT)

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. What happens then?

Arcion - June 25, 2004 04:15 PM (GMT)
I was one of three groups heading to Bursting Oblivious Far Thunder, and the two that have finished have all gotten rewards. I think that calling the rewards from mods 'Gott Statue Rewards' is incorrect, you probably should, but you don't have to actually get to the Gott to get rewards, it's based on your posts, not truely what happens in them.

Ashura - June 25, 2004 05:12 PM (GMT)
Oh, thanks.
