Rules - None

Field - BURSTING PASSED OVA AQUA FIELD: The field has been modified. Instead of being a normal "The World" field, it will be a replica of the SSBM stage of Hyrule Temple. Barriers will be put up at the cliffs and drop-offs to ensure that no one will fall off. Gravity will be lessened by 1/4th so that the players can jump higher than normal, allowing them to reach the ledges and broken parts of the building.

Karashte was up already in his house, playing a round of Super Smash Bros. Melee on his gamecube. He was playing as Link, fighting against other Links in a free for all match. Karashte was beating all of the other ones, mainly because he was too lazy to join in. Suddenly, Karashte thought up of a strategy for his upcoming duel today. He turned off the ‘cube, and the TV, and rushed to his room.

I should just, like, do what I did today! STAY BACK AND WATCH DA FIGHT


Karashte hopped on his chair, turned on his computer, logged into The World, and slapped his VR helmet on The three golden rings descended in front of Mac Anu’s chaos gate. Yoku turned around, and began to announce the keywords for his duel.

“BURSTING!” Yoku shouted with a twirl. “PASSED!” A cartwheel after the twirls. “OVA!!!!!!!” He jumped into the air. “AQUA FIELD!” Three yellow rings transported Yoku into the chosen field.

What awaited Yoku, was an exact replica of the SSBM stage, Hyrule Temple. The sounds of chatter and conversations filled the east side of the replicated arena. The Long Arm raised an eyebrow, for all of the Super Smash Bros. Melee Characters were there as spectators.

“You call THAT a weapon?!” Ganondorf yelled.

“Psh, at least I don’t wear chain mail undies like Nintendo said.” Yoku replied in a whisper.

“YOU LITTLE RUNT! THAT’S MAH ONLY SECRET!” Ganondorf jumped from his seat, and tried to tackle Yoku, but only tackle d a barrier that separated the two. Yoku laughed on the floor.

“I should send the others a flashmail.”

“Hey Link, do me a favor, and beat Ganondorf up for me.” Yoku asked, sitting down on a rock.

“With pleasure…” Link replied, smiling evilly. And so, in that small cramped space, a great battle was fought between the characters.

Jordan awoke the next morning with his usually hangover. “God damn I need to stop drinking so many Molson’s, Jordan said “nah maybe ill just grab a few right now. That is the only cure for a hangover, more beer Jordan thought. Flicking on his Gamecube as he cracked open a beer. What a good combo he thought. Some SSBM and a beer. He knew that his duel was a replica of Hyrule Temple, so he played a few rounds of that level.

Grabbing another beer, Jordan sat down at his computer desk and started it up. He booted up The WORLD and put his headset on and had controller in hand.

Seeing the familiar settings of Mac Anu’s chaos gate, Cloud said the words of the keyword. Bursting Passed Ova Aqua Field. The yellow ring engulfed Cloud as he made his way the field.

When he got there he remembered seeing this setting before, it was none other then Hyrule Temple from SSMB. Some of the characters from the game were there, I guess they were there to watch he thought.

Over in the corner he saw Link and Ganondorf start fighting. Soon all the chars from the game were in a all out brawl.

“Man this is sweet” Cloud said

Cloud saw Yoku also watching the fight. Cloud walked over to him and they began to talk to each other about the fight they were watching and the fight that was about to happen when the others got there.

Cloud shook Yoku’s hand and walked over to a ledge and sat by himself.

“It will look bad if they gate in and we are talking to each other” Cloud yelled to Yoku, “it will look like we are teaming or something like that”.

“Good call” said Yoku. Turning his head back to the fight.

Cloud then went on to think of some strats for his duel. Maybe I should let them fight and when they are all hurt I can jump in and win. “Mahahahahaha” Cloud laughed to himself.

“What a nut job” Cloud heard Yoku say.

“Bitch” Cloud mumbled under his breath so Yoku could not hear him.

Josh drove down the road from his friends house. Maybe Thomas and them flatening me in SSBM will get me ready. I did get some good idea's though.

He pulled into his driveway and sat in his car listening to his radio, letting the bass flow through his veins. He turned the car off after the song and walked into his home. He walked throught he house turning off various lights and locking dorrs. He then went into his room and shut the door behind him, he sat in his computer chair and took of his shoes while he let his computer boot up. He grabbed his VR helmet and other equipment. he placed the helmet on his head and double clicked on the world icon.

The familiar login screen popped up and josh entered his information.

Welcome to The World....

Josh closed his eyes to ease the transition from reality to fantaasy. When he opened his eyes, the bustling river city of Mac Anu spread out before his eyes. He looked around to see the familiar city, this had been the sixth time he had been here for adventuring reasons. He decided he could use a change of equipment for his strategy to work. He walked to the weapon store for the first time actually indending to purchase some new equipment.

When krops arrived the shop keep was busy with another player, so he decided to wait. the player walked away with a disapointed look on his face. Krops then walked up to the shop keeper who said with a cheery voice, "Welcome to the weapon shop, are you buying or selling?"

"Buying. I'll take a Mizuchi." Krops said pulling out his bag of coins which had been recently bolstered by the sale of a rare item.

The shopkeeper checked his level and then pulled the sword out from beneath the counter. "That'll be 800 gp please."

Krops gave the NPC the coins and walked off with his new sword. He took his old trusty Brave sword that had served him well in its time. H e placed it in his inventory and slipped his new Mizuchi into his sheath, which changed to accomidate the larger blade. He then turned and walked back across the bridge, his boots clunking on the wood. He came to the chaos gate and said, "Bursting Passed Over Aqua Field." The rings fell down over him and his character data was pulled apart and transmitted to the field.

When he arrived he saw the field was a sprawling grassland in the midafternoon. "Wait a minute, I thought he message said the field was gonna be a replica of Hyrule Temple?" Krops said confused. then he heard a soft ding in his ear, it was a flashmail from Yoku, it said:

"Dammit. Wrong field." Krops said gating out of the field and returning tot he chaos gate. "Lets try this again. Bursting Passed Ova Aqua Field."

The rings fell on him for hte thrid time today and transported him to hopefully the proper field. When he arrived, it was a perfect replica of the Hyrule Temple Field in Super Smash Brothers Melee. Krops looked around to try and spot his opponents. He saw a Wavemaster he didn't know in the corner and the former blademaster Yoku standing with his spear in another. Then he noticed a brawl going on in the stands of the arena, which was filled with the various characters from the game. He called out to Yoku, "Hey Yoku! Its good to see you again!" Yoku waved back and Krops walked over to the wavemaster, "You must be Cloud. Name's Krops." He said holding out his hand. The young wavemaster took his hand and shook it.

Krops looked around and saw they were the only ones there, so he decided to test the lack of gravity in the field. He crouched low and launched himself into the air. He soared well above his target and instead landed on the platform above teh one he was attempting to reach. He decided to wait for his last opponent by jumping around and getting used tot he special arena.

"Shut up! Just shut up right now! I wasn't even talking to you!" I screamed at my youngest sister. We had been arguing, again, and over the, stupidest thing in the world. I had been in my room playing some Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced and when i walked into the living room to gram a soda my youngest sister, brother, dad, and step mom were all sitting in the living room watching a movie. I reached into the fridge pulling out a root beer then walked over behind the couch my sister and dad were sitting on. I whispered to my dad.

"What 'cha watchin?"

"Shut up." My sister voiced to me. I ignored her. She was always this way to me. I don’t know why, but whenever I am around her, she seems to be angry, and completely heartless to me, despite how kind I always try to be to her. I leaned closer to my dad so and not to interrupt my sister fragile little world.

"It's called 'Reaching the Void', it's a documentary about how three climbers climbed to the top of some mountain in the alps and how one of them fell into a crevice and crawled his way all the way down the mountain back to base camp where the other climbers though he was dead." I perked up my eyebrows. Wow, this sounds interesting. Perhaps I’ll stay and watch a few minutes of it. I stood behind the couch, slightly rocking back and forth, eyes fixed on the grotesque, mangled, frost bitten face of a man.

"Wow, that’s really got to hurt." I said aloud, my sister whipped her head around glaring at me.

"Shussh! Were trying to watch the movie!" Jeese, what's her problem... I haven’t even SEEN her today until now and here she is bitching at me like we've been in each other personal space for hours. God I hate her. I ignored her again and continued to watch the TV. A few minutes dragged on to a half hour, watching the documentary about the incredible feat of this man. I thought to myself. There is no way I could ever do that. I would kill myself, the moment I found out I was stranded there, with a broken leg. I walked over to the counter and grabbed a chair, sitting behind he couch resting my elbows on the back of the couch. My sister turned her head again, to hiss some more spiteful words at me. "Johnny, your bugging me. It bugs me when you stand behind me like that." I glared back at her.

"Well if you don’t want me to sit here then scoot over and make room on the couch!" We glared at each other for a few moments before she decided that she'd much rather have me sitting on a chair behind her, then sitting on the same chair. The movie dragged onwards, finally ending with him being rescued by his friends back at the camp. Once it was over I asked my dad to fill in on the parts of the movie that I missed, since I came in about a half hour after they had started it. That is when my sister turned to me and screamed.

"Shut up Johnny! Were watching the movie!" I returned the fire.

"The movie is over look see!" I pointed at the screen, the credits were rolling. "Shut up! Just shut up right now! I wasn't even talking to you!" With that I stormed out of the living room and headed for my bedroom. Never should have watch that movie. Any time I try to do anything with the rest of the family, she has to go and piss me off. I sat down at my computer in a rage, threw on my headset, grabbed the controller and logged into "The World".

Welcome to "The World"

Normally, I would have enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Mac Anu, but right now. I was pissed. I stormed off to the river and began throwing rocks and other various objects into it. I bet if I had baby, I probably would have punted it into the river as well. I desperately needed to blow off some steam, but at the moment I was too angry to think of anything. I kicked a wall stubbing my toe which got me pissed off at the wall, so I punched the wall, thus hurting my hand. It took me a few minutes to realize that no matter how much I hurt the wall, the wall was going to hurt me back even more. I stormed off to the chaos gate thinking that perhaps some monster smashing would do me some good when I received a flashmail.

"Hey hey hey! Yoku here! Remember the SSBM duel today at: BURSTING PASSED OVA (not over, OVA) AQUA FIELD. And trust me, this field is great."

Ah yes! The duel! What better way to vent some steam than to vent it on the bodies of other people! I grinned maliciously. What fun this will be... I sprinted the rest of the way to the chaos gate wanting to get there to cause pain on the others with such a desire, that if a professional were to assess me, they would think I was criminally insane. I thirsted for blood.

I gated into the field, Δ Bursting Passed Ova Aqua Field. Apparently it was suppose to be a modified field just for our duel. I was fine with that; it didn't hinder nor increase my hunger for blood. It just meant that they would get their asses beaten in a unique terrain. But when I opened my eyes I was completely unprepared for what i saw.

The field had been altered alright, but not just a little. This... This was incredible. It was a life sized replica of Hyrule Castle from The Legend of Zelda. There were vast turrets, towering brick walls, as well as many other medieval features that brought this game world to life. I rubbed my eyes not sure if what I was seeing was real, but there was no doubt. This was the real deal... I looked around and saw that all of my opponents were already here. I ran over to them trying to calm my urge to take my spear and start going all stabby death on them before the match had even started. I think I did a good job, except for the occasional twitch.
