Phoenix512 - June 30, 2004 05:49 AM (GMT)
Phoenix was sitting down on a rooftop on one of the buildings in Mac Anu with his guardian, Suzaku. The crimson bird was Phoenix’s right shoulder as they were looking at the timeless sunset as they were in deep thought. “Suzaku, we are experiencing a terrible calm before the storm. It has been a few days since I got my powers and feel uneasy with this calm.” Phoenix pondered to his loyal bird. “You have been fighting without much rest for awhile. It has become a part of you and almost caused your destruction. I will not let you die in my eyes.” Suzaku spoke in a calm voice.

Phoenix looked at his bird with interest for a minute and continued the conversation, “You’re right but that Phoenix died when Kurai stabbed me with the Treeweaver.” He stopped talking for a few seconds as shivers crawled up his skin. Suzaku was concerned by the sudden shivers, “Are you all right, Kazuma-sama?” Phoenix took his arm and petted Suzaku’s head before standing up. The bird flew into the air as her wings spread out in beautiful amazement. Phoenix continued to look at the sunset as he tried to finish his conversation, “I’m fine, Suzaku. It was just that the data drain was something I don’t want to ever feel ever again. Anyway, ever since I came back to Mac Anu, there has been something that I need to do here. It has been nagging at me throughout the day. For now, let’s go back to the hideout in Theta.”

On the last word from Phoenix’s mouth, the airborne Suzaku flew towards him and transform into her disguise form. She transform into a necklace with a dark red jewel mostly resemble of a garnet. Phoenix dropped down from the rooftop and floated down to the ground like a feather. Due to his powers, he had a lower gravity field around himself which allows him to bear the shear blunt of his powers. As he walked back to the Chaos Gate, he could see a black field around various players. Phoenix could easily change the gravity field of any player but it would alert the mods and admins of the World and cause pain to himself. He kept walking towards the Chaos Gate and acted like a normal player of the World. Phoenix gave himself a chuckle from the idea of a normal player. He was now the Master of Gravity and feel within the World. His right hand had the symbol of a diamond which was once on a rune. That rune was dissolved into his hand but the symbol was burned onto his hand. The rune was called Ingwaz, the rune of rebirth.

Phoenix arrived at the Chaos Gate and was about to use it to return to the Theta server but something stop him. He stood still in shock as he realized that feeling of destiny would not allowed him to return to Theta. Suddenly, he felted Suzaku speaking into his mind. Why are you not returning to Theta? Phoenix returned the thought to the disguise bird. There’s something here that I must do. That feeling is overpowering my desire to return to the others. I’m seeing something now. He saw a fiery field just blink in front of his eyes and knew the keywords to the field.

“Expansive Passed Over Tri Pansy!”

After the keywords were spoken, the golden rings surrounded Phoenix and made him disappeared from the aquatic city. The golden rings deposited him on a very hilly desert but as soon he touched the ground, he began to float. This was embarrassing for the Master of Gravity. Phoenix looked around the area and could not see anything out of the norm. “Suzaku, come out now,” Phoenix commanded. The necklace disappeared from Phoenix’s neck and appeared in front of him as a bird. Suzaku tried to land onto the ground but it took a lot of energy to even touch the ground for the bird. As she touched the ground, she suddenly floated back up to the sky. In disgust, Phoenix commanded his guardian to return as a necklace. It seems that this area is surrounded by zero gravity. If I was to get into a fight here, I would be at a disadvantage by the enemy… His thought was interrupted by Suzaku. “I noticed that you have Dek Do and Rip Saem on you. I tried to cast Ap Do on you to correct the Dek Do but my magic is locked. I assumed that your magic is locked as well.”

“You’re correct but I still can use my weapon skills three times. I don’t know if my gravity powers will effective in this environment since I can’t see any gravity fields at all. One thing is certain though… I was brought here on purpose.” Phoenix said to his bird. He laid on his back on the sky waiting for someone or something to show him the reason of this field.

Gojira - June 30, 2004 12:16 PM (GMT)
"Eight... Nine... Ten... Ah!" Derek whispered loudly, placing the weights back down on the ground. His arms hung at his sides, having just lifted fifty pound dumbells ten times. The sweat had come back again while he lifted the dumbells, collecting in the seams of his eyebrows and covering the exposed mass of his body. They were held in his brows, stuck til they were swept away by Derek's towel.

His arms burned, but it was the good kind of burn. The kind that told you your muscles were doing their job and they were only going to get stronger. With short gasps of air, he sat down on a nearby bench, grabbing a white towel and a water bottle. He wiped his face off, the rough fabric grinding against his skin. The sweat transferred from his face to the towel as he moved the white cloth away. Derek threw the towel around his neck and then lifted his head. With his eyes closed, he opened his mouth and squeezed the water bottle. Above him, the water streamed down like a fountain into his mouth, instantly refreshing him.

Derek had been at the gym for at least an hour. He had started off at the cycles, moved on to stretches, then proceeded to work on his arms. He didn't do as much as he did on other days mostly because he needed his arms to work. Derek did not want to come home and not be able to open his own door. Lifting the dumbells was the last part of this exercise.

He took in breaths more easily now, feeling his lungs loosen up. His arms were cooling down, adjusting to his current body temprature. Derek's hair stuck to his face, moist with sweat. His mop of dirty blonde hair was stuck to him like an insect on a flytrap. He wiped his face again with the towel, denying any other sweat beads to form on his pristine face. With his right hand, he slid his hair back. It didn't resist the movement and slid back with ease. The sweat acted like hair gel in this situation, holding his hair in place.

After a few more breaths of air, Derek got up and made his way back to the locker room. Once inside, he opened his locker and put all of the sweaty cloths he had just worked out in. He took out a large white towel, wrapped around his waist and headed for the sauna.

The sauna had two rows of seats, with the blistering hot rocks in the upper right corner of the room. Derek took a seat on the top row, in the back left corner, next to a older man in his 60's. He didn't bother the old man and the old man didn't bother him. They sat there in silence, letting the heat sweat out all the nasty juice. Derek layed back, resting his back against the wood wall behind him. He closed his eyes and let his body rest.

Unknowingly, Derek slipped into unconciousness, letting his mind do its work. Behind his eyelids, a projection screen came up. At first, it was pure white, with small black dots plauging the pure white screen for milliseconds. It was like an old film was starting to play in his head. The white screen shuddered, then it started to display something Derek couldn't quite recognize at first. It was blurry, the images hazy and indemonstrable. The moving picture focused slowly, bringing to him something he recognized right away. It was The World, lush with players, shops, and a multitude of other things he couldn't think of right now. The movie being played on his eyelids took him through Mac Anu, sweeping and swooping over crowds of people, overhearing their conversations as the unseen camera passed by, seeing the faces of players he knew and had never met. The motion slowed down as it approached the Chaos Gate.

At the Chaos Gate stood one person. The small area was vacant save this one player. He was dressed in a dark blue garb, with sandals on his feet, black bands around his arms, and his fists holding on to something bright. Those bright objects looked strange. They looked like- they looked somewhat like brass knuckles, but modified in a way Derek had never seen before. His mind raced. This player looked extremely familiar, yet Derek was unable to put a name on this person. Who was this player?

That's when the stranger turned around. Slowly, his face revealed who he was. It was someone Derek knew. Someone he knew very intimately, because it was himself looking back at him. Not himself exactly, but his World self looking back at him. It was Gojira looking straight into the camera. Except there was one difference. The scar that was on his face was on the right side. It was on the opposite side. Derek's mind raced even more now. He began to ask why he was seeing this, what was going on, how was this-

Suddenly, Gojira's arm shot out towards the camera, grabbing something nearby. Derek felt strange, then noticed the lack of air coming in to his body. He tried to grab hold of the hand's around his throat, but to no avail. In this dream, his hands didn't exist. They were a phantom extension of himself that didn't work in the unconcious world. The image on the back of his eyelids was becoming blurry again. As he started to die at the hand of himself, Derek saw his World counterpart begin to speak, yet without sound. Gojira mouthed some words that Derek wasn't able to hear. Derek was only able to make out two words: passed and tri.

Back inside the suana, Derek was awaken violently as he jumped to his feet, falling back down on his ass when he lost his balance. His body was drenched with sweat, having been in this room full of hot steam for 15 minutes. Derek coughed loudly, forcing his eyes to close because it was such a rough coughing fit. He sat up again, sucking in hot air that almost caused him to cough again. He placed both of his hands on his face, questioning what he had just seen. That couldn't have been real, he thought. It was just a figment of my imagination.

Derek left the suana room, went to go take a quick five minute shower, put on some fresh clothes, and exited the gymnasium. He jogged slowly to his car and drove home as fast as possible. Even if he didn't believe what had just happened in his dreams, some of him knew that had to believe it. If The World wanted him, he would deliver himself without struggle, for The World was his only source of exictment nowadays.

He slammed the garage door shut, walking swiftly through his house towards his room. Derek threw his keys into the kitchen, hearing them clang loudly on the marble stone counter, sliding across it with a screech. He hurried up the stairs, skipping each other step to get to his room faster. The top of the stairs squealed under the weight of his entire body, but soon was relieved as Derek moved on to his room.

With his computer already on, Derek wasted no time to log into The World. He entered his account information, put on his "Feel-It" equipment, then his VR visor, and entered The World quickly in a rush. Once he became the player known as Gojira, he made haste through the town of Mac Anu. He had no time to waste on small chat or buying items. He had to get to those Chaos Gates as quick as possible to figure out the meaning of his dream.

Arriving at the scene of his dream, he felt a sudden wave of deja vu come over him. It was the same exact scene he had seen in the suana. There was nobody around, save for one person standing before the Chaos Gate. He knew it wasn't himself, but this stranger gave him an odd feeling he couldn't quite understand. Gojira could see the player was a blademaster from the weapon he carried. This player was also familiar to him, but once again, he was unable to put a name to the stranger. Gojira moved in closer, fearing that maybe he had fallen into a relapse of what he experienced in the gym and this was another dream. Perhaps this one would cut him to bits instead of strangle him. As he inched closer, Gojira heard words echo softly in the area. “Expansive Passed Over Tri Pansy!” the player called out. The golden rings appeared instantly and took the blademaster away.

Gojira stood there, shocked. Those words, he thought. He remembered the last part of his dream, where he saw himself strangling himself. The words that were mouthed by his counterpart fit what the blademaster had just said. What was the connection? Was he predestined to go to that field? There was more to this than he had originally thought. Swallowing his fear, Gojira moved forward and stood close to the Chaos Gate. Looking at it's sheer size, he decided to make a choice. He would find out what was going on. Gojira's curiousity drove him to the next step. Copying the blademaster before him, he called out the same keywords. “Expansive Passed Over Tri Pansy.”

The three rings came down, deconstructing him from one place and constructing him in another. Gojira was placed in a fire field, full of hot, volcanic land mass. He felt odd, like he was floating. When he looked down, he saw that his feet were barely touching the ground. What was going on? The Fist Fighter looked up again, searching the field for the blademaster. Perhaps that player could explain what was going on. Then again, that blademaster might be hostile. He had to play this game safely, or else he was going to end up on the losing team. Gojira found the blademaster, and he found something else with that blademaster. The- thing- accompanying the blademaster looked like a phoenix of mythical stories. How did this player achieve such a thing? Now Gojira knew he had to be careful. He gathered his SP to cast Ap Corv on himself, but it would not happen. Something was blocking his use of magic.

That's when he felt it. His muscles bulged, feeling almost three times their normal size. Yet as his strength grew stronger, Gojira could also feel something strange happen around his feet. It felt like someone was putting shackles on his ankles, keeping him from moving his normal speed. What he had gained in strength, he had lost in speed. This might or might not cost him if this came to a fight. Gojira wondered if the blademaster across from him had the same effect forced upon him, or was he immune to it?

Something beeped in Gojira's ears, telling him something had happened. He saw that there was a flashmail that had just been sent to him. Hesitating, he opted to read it. The message inside was a strange one, but it answered some of his questions.

Greetings Fist Fighter. We hope you are enjoying this special event. You might have noticed that there is a lack of gravity and certain restrictions have been placed upon you. Not to worry, it is all part of the game. You have two choices Fist Fighter: Fight and win, or fight and lose. It is up to you. Let the game began!

The flashmail had no return sender, nor did it bear any signature. It was simple, to the point, and mysterious. Was this something set up by CC Corp? "Perhaps it was," Gojira said to himself. "That's it, then, is it? I'm to fight this player no matter what? So be it. I could never turn down a fight." Erasing the flashmail from his directory, Gojira turned his attention back to the other player on the field. "You there! It seems we have no choice but to fight. Let's begin, shall we?" Gojira took up a rather awkward stance, being there no gravity to hold him down. He knew this was going to be an interesting fight.

Phoenix512 - July 5, 2004 03:23 AM (GMT)
Phoenix was now in a bind. He never thought that he had to fight in zero gravity so soon. He could not see a gravity field anywhere on the field. If there is no gravity for me to manipulate, then my powers are useless here. Wait, who’s that? Phoenix noticed a fist fighter in his field of vision but he had a strange feeling about him. I fought a fist fighter before but he wasn’t this big. I wonder if he is a hacker or victim of this twisted…

Before Phoenix could finish his thought, he heard the fist fighter yelled out to him. "You there! It seems we have no choice but to fight. Let's begin, shall we?" As Phoenix saw the fist fighter went into his stance, he went back into his thoughts. So the fist fighter is a victim in this twisted game. I’m beginning to wonder if the zero gravity was to stop me from using my powers against the fist fighter. Still, I wonder why my Dek Do and the other effects placed on us even existed at all. Someone must know who I really am and what can I do now. But who?

You should not focus on who put us here but on defeating the victim and getting out of here. Suzaku said into her master’s thoughts. You’re correct, Suzaku. It’s time to fight for my freedom. Phoenix thought back to his guardian. Due the infection of the Twilight, he could feel everything within in the World. From the heat of the field, he was beginning to sweat. He never liked the heat because he could not really wear the clothes that he wants to wear when he existed in the real world. To him, he would prefer the cold any day. He wiped the sweat off of his face before drawing out his sword, the Seal Sword. It was his new weapon that he recently acquired. It had a dark bent into it which suited Phoenix to his new powers.

Having somewhat an idea to move around zero gravity, Phoenix needed a way to propel himself so he can move less sluggishly. Normally, he can just move at normal speed but the Dek Do reduced his natural speed. Using the Revolver skill in the Seal Sword, Phoenix knowing that he would have only two weapon skills left but speed and movement was important right now. The skill could have fooled the enemy in thinking that Phoenix was using the skill as an attack. Phoenix was feeling the effects of the boost of speed from the Revolver skill but he was sweating even more now.

As he got closer to the fist fighter, he realized the person who he fighting against. It was Gojira, a member of the Army of Darkness. Phoenix has a history with the Army but it was more like fighting against them. He wondered how Cypher was doing after their duel those months ago but the past was the past. He was focused on beating the bulk up former twin blade, Gojira. Phoenix was still in his Revolver stance pretending that the skill was still in effect. He used the momentum from the skill to move around in the zero gravity. He noticed that he was slower than normal but that was from the Dek Do effect. Gojira, you may have been bulk up as one of your effects but I got a feeling that you are slower than usual as well. As an added bonus for me, you cannot block my attacks without sacrificing your body or SP. Phoenix remembered that his sword possess Skill Drain which any successful attack can drain some of the opponent’s SP.

Phoenix did not want to use the remaining two weapon skills until they were necessary. So, he decided to use a regular attack as the opening move. The Seal Sword was still pointing towards Gojira and did not budge from that position until Phoenix was a few feet in front of him. He took his left arm and gripped the sword along with his right arm. He moved the sword which was pointing at Gojira’s head to the lower right of his midsection and proceeded with a diagonal slash that ended at Gojira’s left shoulder. Phoenix hopes that the nine level difference between them could finish the duel quickly but the added strength from the field could bring a problem to him. Also, Phoenix’s movements are sluggish at best and could bring a problem in this duel. Right now, he did not care. All he cared for was victory by death of his opponent.

Gojira - July 9, 2004 04:51 AM (GMT)
It didn't take long for his opponent to get moving. The blademaster glided over the molten earth, his pet following along closely. As Gojira watched his opponent, he noticed something strange about the way he was standing. The blademaster's sword was in a position that seemed almost foreign. And that sword! Gojira recognized it right away. It was the same kind of sword that had been used against him in one of his most dangerous duels. That sword was the Seal Sword, a very special weapon with devestating attacks. He had to be careful around this player, for if he had this weapon in his possesion, that meant he was quite skilled. Maybe even more so than Gojira.

Gojira didn't move from his spot, cautious about the lack of gravity. If he were to try and move away, he might get stuck a in spot that would leave him wide open for attack. And that was the last thing he wanted. His best choice was to stay close to the ground. Besides, the closer Gojira got to his opponent, the better chance he would have to get in some hits.

His opponent drew close, coming into range and initiating his initial attack. Looking at his adversary's face for any sign of weakness, his mind started to wander in a seperate direction. This player was known to him. He wasn't just a normal person existing in The World, no. This was the blademaster Phoenix, a proud member of the Fatal Exception clan. The Army of Darkness and Fatal Exception were never on friendly terms, but they had never seen a reason to attack the other. They were both neutral on the subject of the other clan. Giving this even more thought, Gojira wondered if there was more to this duel than just a fight. Maybe someone was trying to instigate a bond of hatred between the two of them, to get the Army of Darkness and Fatal Exception mad at each other, creating chaos and violence.

But such thoughts had to wait, for Phoenix was about to attack. Gojira turned his attention away from his opponent's face and now watched the imminent attack. The Seal Sword hadn't moved from it's original position. It was still pointed directly at its target. Gojira tightened his fists, hoping his Fist Guards might help to parry the attack. ‘Hell, they’re made of metal, why shouldn't they?’ As Phoenix came within a few feet of Gojira, he instantly changed the status of his attack. The sword moved swiftly to its master's side, now pointing towards Gojira's midsection. Phoenix lashed out, slashing upwards and to Gojira's left. It was just a normal attack, but that didn't mean it was any less dangerous.

The Fist Fighter dropped his guard, not risking the injury of his hands and/or arms, and leaned back to try dodge the diagonal cut. Yet two things seemed strange; one, the attack seemed slow and sluggish, and two, Gojira's body felt bigger than usual. 'Did that feeling of shackles mean something?' he wondered. 'I don't feel any slower, but I can't seem to dodge this attack how I normally could. Something else is wrong with me.' The Seal Sword came through just in time to rip open Gojira's shirt and cut his skin easily. It wasn’t a deep gash that now sprawled across his chest, but it was surely bleeding like one. Gojira knew he would have a hard time using the right side of his body, since the lower right part of his torso had received the most damage.

Clutching the right side of his body, Gojira kicked downwards to propell himself backwards. He couldn’t risk the chance of another attack. The next slash might have taken away some mobility of his left. Gojira grit his teeth, grunting at his opponent in annoyance. If this was a normal fight, he would’ve had a better chance of avoiding that attack. ‘It seems like my evasion isn’t at its highest for this fight,’ he thought. ‘Wonderful.’

Gojira was starting to slow down, having lost most of his momentum by now. He had been able to place about 28 feet between the two of them, and was still gaining more distance at a slower pace. As he passed a large mound of black rock, Gojira started thinking about that initial attack, going over what had just happened. Phoenix’s slash seemed slow and a little sluggish, yet was precise. That meant his accuracy wasn’t down, but something else was. If it was his speed, then that could be a huge advantage for Gojira. Since he was still operating at his normal speed, Phoenix would have to work twice as hard to dodge his attacks. Gojira smiled. Things were looking for him now.

Pulling his hands away from his side, the Fist Fighter threw his arms towards the ground. His body flipped forward, coming slowly to a halt as Gojira’s finger dug into the searing ground. Up to his knuckles in hot ash, Gojira ended up with his feet in the sky and his hands in the ground. The way he looked was right out of an action movie. Tensing up his muscles, he flung himself back at his opponent Phoenix. He had quite a lot of distance to cover, but he had an idea how to get back into the fight swiftly.

As his body flew forward, Gojira paid attention to a different object. His attention wasn’t on his opponent right now, but more on how he was going to greet his opponent in just a few seconds. He had remembered that large, black mound he passed earlier. It looked pretty stable and solid, so Gojira thought he might be able to use that to launch himself back at his opponent. And with the kind of speed he would coming back with, Phoenix would have to triple his efforts.

He grabbed the large mound of molten rock with his hands, then stopping his body completing once his feet slammed against the hard surface. Gojira found it was a little harder to grab a hold of the rock than he had thought. His arms felt off-balance by a smidge and he had to really concentrate just to keep a hold on the mound. ‘Is my accuracy down as well? Jesus, what else will go wrong?’ Climbing over the top quickly, Gojira placed the bottom of his feet against the solid rock. He felt like Spider-man standing on the side of a building. Bending his knees, he looked up at his target and pushed off with all of his might.

Zooming towards Phoenix, Gojira reached back with his right arm, waiting for the right moment to strike. If all went right, once Gojira hit Phoenix, he would be instaneously slowed down. If Gojira did connect, his inertia would be passed on to his opponent, possibly inflicting more damage if he was lucky. ‘Who needs magic when you had raw strength at your disposal?’ Gojira thought. And even if he did miss, Gojira would pass by Phoenix before he or his pet could do inflict any kind of damage.

Phoenix512 - July 15, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
Phoenix’s attack did connect to the Fist Fighter but not in the way that he intended. He wanted to kill Gojira in one attack but it did cause some damage to him. Phoenix had injured Gojira’s right side and found out that his opponent was not only stronger but unable to evade as well. Gojira kicked downwards to put some distance between them since Phoenix would have continue the attack. Phoenix saw a trace of annoyance from his opponent as he watched him go further away.

I maybe slow but he can’t avoid my attack easily. His reaction time must have been increased but his enhanced strength still could be a problem. I have to figure a way to use my powers in this zero gravity. Phoenix thought to himself as he saw Gojira continued to drift away from him. He tried to think his next move as Gojira began to head towards the ground. He wondered what the Fist Fighter was doing since they could not stay on the ground for long. He saw Gojira’s fists went into the hot ash and could not do anything to him since he was too far away and could not use magic on him.

Phoenix was on guard on any possible attack from Gojira but he could not figure out what he was doing. Gojira was still far away to make an attack against Phoenix and being a fist fighter, his attack would have to be close range. He was not worrying about Gojira yet as the fist fighter propels himself to a large, black mound. Phoenix figured that Gojira was trying to get closer to him for an attack. Phoenix began to prepare for a frontal assault by the enemy. The Seal Sword guarded Phoenix’s midsection horizontally but he could not quickly strike at the enemy. He watched the fist fighter grabbed onto the mound and struggle holding on. He continued to watch the fighter as he climbed to the top of the mound and preparing to attack Phoenix.

Gojira used his massive strength to jump towards at Phoenix with his right arm cocked back. Phoenix could not believe the speed of Gojira’s attack as he could not move the Seal Sword fast enough to stab the fist fighter. Gojira’s right fist cocked forward and hit Phoenix directly at his head. The resulting force of the punch stopped Gojira’s motion and knocked Phoenix back into a rocky wall. Phoenix’s body made an imprint into the rocky wall and took his left hand to his face. His face was hurting badly from the punch due to the enhanced strength and the resulting momentum of the attack. He thought that being stabbed was better than getting punched in the face. No one would attack the head with a sword.

Phoenix looked at the ground and suddenly had an idea to turn this fight around. This isn’t true zero gravity. If this was true zero gravity, then the rock formations would have been in the air. The regular gravity is being suppressed. That’s why there is no gravity around the fist fighter. I need to increase my gravity to get to the ground but it probably causes me some pain since I haven’t been used to increased gravity yet. Phoenix finished his thought as he removed himself from the rock wall. He still felt the pain of the blow of Gojira’s punch as he began to focus his powers upon himself. He increased the gravity upon himself to twice of Earth’s gravity. He began to drop to the ground but it was causing him some pain. He ignored the pain and suddenly realized that his decreased speed would make him unable to move on the ground very well. His feet touched the ground and quickly drop the gravity field around himself. Phoenix was able to move his body a little bit better as prepare to leap towards Gojira. He used the same technique that the fist fighter used to attack Phoenix but the attack was not a fist. Phoenix was about ten feet away from Gojira when he used his Ani Crack attack. The leap gave Phoenix an additional burst of speed as he was raising his sword over his head. Phoenix adjusted for his decreased speed so that his sword would be cutting Gojira’s head first. He hoped again that he would finish his opponent with this darkness attack.

Gojira - July 30, 2004 10:02 AM (GMT)
The Blademaster had reversed his motion, coming back at Gojira with amazing speed. Pheonix had copied the Fist Fighter's last movement, the blade leading the player. Gojira eyes widened, seeing no way to get out of the way in time. He would be caught in his own tactic. The light glistened on the blade, moving in accordance with the Blademaster. Dark energies begain to form around the sharp blade, encircling the polished metal. The Fist Fighter knew this move all too well. A move that had once put an end to him before. Gojira had to figure out something quick before that sword lopped off one of his precious limbs.

Bubbling lava burst upwards, popping in mid-air. It returned to the ground, merging back with its family of searing red liquid. Although the gravity did not exist for Gojira and Pheonix, for some reason it continued to work upon the natural (yet virtual) enviroment. The Fist Fighter saw this in his peripheral vision, yet it did not strike up a chord in his instrument of the mind. His focus was upon the skill attack being aimed for his fragile neck. His eyes reaced from side to side, looking for anything that could profit him and extend his life for a few more minutes. There were no rock formations around that he could bounce off like a pinball, escaping his opponent's attack. His feet barely touched the ground. And that was if he extend his toes all the way downward. There had to be something he could do.

It was too late. Pheonix was already upon him, the blade grasped between his hands pulsing with a dark ebb of energy. The combination of silver and pure darkness swung in a tight motion, aimed directly to knock off Gojira's block. Of course, it would be more of a slicing than a knocking. What was this Fist Fighter to do? The only thing he had left was his instinct and last-minute reflexes.

Acting upon that instinct and hoping that whatever god might exist could help him, Gojira leaned backward, raising his left hand in defense. The sharp metal empowered with the power night slashed through his skin, like a hot spoon scooping easily through ice cream. Muscle and bone gave way as if it was never there. Gojira's eyes teared up insantly, feeling the virtual pain coarse through his body. The blade stopped a little more than halfway through his hand, only because of the metal Fist Guard Gojira was wearing. If hadn't worn those, a good chunk of his hand might be floating around the field.

Yet that wasn't all. The tip of the blade had reached far enough to open a gash under Gojira's chin. Skin sizzled away as the blade approached, finally cutting the tanned flesh open. The tip passed by the Fist Fighter's head, leaving behind river of crimson. The Fist Fighter felt the worst of it was over, pulling himself together and sliding his left hand off of the blade. Gojira lifted his right leg, placing his foot on Pheonix's thigh, pushing off of it to send him away from his opponent. He feared a second attack. If the Blademaster caught him again with his metaphorical pants down, he could be down for the count.

Smashing against a rock, Gojira's body rocked forward as he ricocheted against the solid black mass. The Fist Fighter brought his left hand close to his body, resting it against his chest. With his right hand still capable of movement, Gojira reached into his pouch, grabbing a Health Drink. He wouldn't be able to retaliate at this time, yet he could use this oppurtunity to restore his left hand a bit. The bottle in his grasp was raised to his mouth, clamping on the top of the Health Drink with his teeth. He popped it off, ejecting the cap from his mouth. He instantly poured the insides all over his left hand, paying no attention to the gush of red pouring from his chin. With his neck now a painted a new shade of crimson, Gojira gritted his teeth as the restorative liquid fixed his hand. While he would regain control of his left hand, the broken dam under his chin would stop the rejuvenation of his health. His HP bar was now at a standstill.

This round belonged to Pheonix and his deadly blade, but the bout wasn't over yet. Gojira was still up and about, waiting for whatever might come next. And he would fight til the end.

Phoenix's second attack did not give the result that he wanted which was the quick defeat of Gojira. The fist fighter used his left hand to directly block the Ani Crack attack. Phoenix thought that Gojira was crazy to block a level 2 attack with just one hand. He saw the fist fighter's hand being cut through very fast until he hit the metal fist guard. Phoenix's target was Gojira's head but with the block, only the tip of his sword reach the fist fighter's chin. Phoenix opened a nasty cut on Gojira's chin which bleed very quickly. Due to the suppressed gravity, the blood from the gash floated in midair. Phoenix was about to go for another attack but the fist fighter was quick to get away from the blademaster. Gojira used Phoenix's own right leg to get away from him but the damage was done. Phoenix was temporary satisfied until he realized that there was a constant HP regenaration in effect.

He saw Gojira collided into a rock formation that was similar to the one that Phoenix encountered earlier by an attack from the Fist Fighter. With the HP regeneration, Phoenix had to act quickly if he wants to defeat Gojira. He had little options to choose from. He could not use a magic attack on him since they were mysteriously locked up. Even with the gravity suppression, he could quickly covered the distance between them but the Dek Do effect on Phoenix put a damper on that idea. He probably figured that Gojira would recovered from wounds by the time he got close to him. He could used the Revolver attack to cover the distance quicker but that would meant losing his final weapon skill attack. Another idea that he had was to try force the gravity around Gojira to plunge him down into the lava. The reason Phoenix will not try this idea because he had no idea the effect of trying to effect around Gojira would have on his body. The attack would be a last resort if the fight goes on too long. Phoenix stook his head in frustation as his chances in this fight were not good until he heard a familar voice.

If I remember correctly, I saw an another choice that you have not considered. Suzaku's voice rang through Phoenix's head as he was thinking. What may that will be, Suzaku? Phoenix pondered to his loyal pet. I noticed an unusual choice on your list of attacks called Slot. It was not there before. She responded back to her master. Phoenix had a new option of attack to use but he does not know what it can do. As the name implies, Slot could be a random event that could go bad or good for Phoenix. Right now, he had to stop Gojira from gaining more HP. With a deep breath, Phoenix shouted out at the top of his lungs. "SLOT!!!!!!!" He waited for the attack to occur and hopefully his exit out of this field.

SLOT TIME!!!

*A small rodent appears on the screen, its beedy read eyes darting constantly between Gojira and Phoenix. Both fighters just starred at him, wondering where it came from. The rodent jumped up and down gleefully, waved its hands in the air, and yelled:

"Gravity is here, gravity is gone, now you two beet each other like a bong!"

The rodent dissapears. Once he does, Gojira and Phoenix begin to float, then 5 seconds later, drop on the ground.*

(OOC: The effect is constant changing of gravity! Every 5 seconds, it'll change. Have fun!!!)

Due to my excessive tardiness and lack of willpower, I'm conceding in this duel. Phoenix gets the win.
