I made a banner for my signature....But...It says something bout' dynamic images can't be on img..? somelike like that...X.x I only remember dynamic and [img] in it..

I see... I have no clue what you're talking about. My personal opinion is "try flattening it" even though I have no clue what that means. Ask Wren or something. He probably knows.

X_X That doesn't help me at all....
...So confused...

What program are you using for creating a banner?
Terror - June 12, 2003 07:39 PM (GMT)
I'd used paint to make the banner......Is that why its not working? I've uploaded it a site already but it won't go on the site..
Kurai - June 12, 2003 08:01 PM (GMT)
Paint?!? like... Microsoft Paint?
well, a good program might be of use for you. Adobe Photoshop or PaintShop Pro works well. I dont usually mess around with Paint... did you add anything unusual to the picture?
also, where is the problem happening? is it when you save, or when you try to upload it here?
Hrmm... the best advice i can think of right now, would to take a screenshot, and then cut it down to size, and see if it works that way. Since i dont know the exact problem, thats the best advice i can give...

Sorry, dynamic pages in the [IMG] tags are not allowed
Thats what it says when I try to put the picture onto my sig..

where are you hosting the banner, and Asura, I think you mean flattening the layers, but pait can't have layers, and also, what image type did you save it as, I normally use .jpg.
Or it might be because wherever your hosting it doesn't allow direct linking.

It's not the image. The image has nothing to do with this case. It's the website where it's being hosted. It uses a sort of dynamic format which, as the error says, isn't permitted. If you tell me about the website or give me the link I might be able to figure out what's dynamic within the page.

if you use netscape, you can direct link your images and use your AIM/AOL name to log in and start a page. only catch is, you need an actual page to keep the images hosted.

You know, I guess I could host images on my server. I'd just need to setup a space for images to be placed. Unfortunately, I don't have the bandwidth to handle it, I think. I'd only find out if I tried it.
