Title: Hidden Forbidden Twin Hills
Description: The Adventure of 5.

Mitsarugi - June 9, 2003 08:00 PM (GMT)
Mitsarugi sat on a vacant bench in the lone, barren, town of Mac Anu.She sighed deeply of feeling bored from no excitement.Feeling so unhappy and without emotion, her mood had changed greatly. It wasn't her nature to have been so uncheerful, or playful. She got up and abandoned the bench, then headed to the Chaos Gate.Shivering from the wind, she got an idea.

"This town is so boring....Maybe I'll go on a quest with some of my friends..." Mitsarugi said flatly.

She thought for a great deal of time, with combinations of keywords weighing on her shoulders. At the same time, she had been thinking about who she would take on her quest. She lost certain keywords she had wanted over thinking about who her allies would be.It disturbed her, being in a dreary place at such a perfect time, so she had trouble thinking. But then, it hit her.

"I got it!They keywords will be,"Hidden Forbidden Twin Hills", and I'll take ShadowFyre,Nikkio,Kiwi, and Terror!"Mitsarugi said happily with a smile.

Mitsarugi flashmailed those 4 certain people, having a great deal of courage in them. After all, they were her friends, and she knew they would never betray her.Praying for safety from hackers on her quest, she sent the flashmails quickly, wishing for a reply soon.

<Hey, want to go on a quest with me?>

And with that, Mitsarugi warped into "Hidden Forbidden Twin Hills", waiting for her friends to come on an adventure with her.

Nikkio2003 - June 9, 2003 08:41 PM (GMT)
Golden rings surrounding the wavemaster, she waited for them to dissipate before stepping forwards. Looking around, she slowly headed down through Mac Anu, until she saw Mitsarugi sitting on a bench, fidgeting.
"Well, I'm here." sitting down next to her, Jenovra relaxed in the chair. "Was I punctual enough for you?.." Looking about their immediate vicinity, she commented again. "Where's all the others?..Not here yet, hmm?" Smirking to herself, she tapped her foot on the ground lightly in her slight impatience. "Shall we wait for the laggards, or do we go now?"

Mitsarugi - June 9, 2003 09:09 PM (GMT)
Mitsarugi tossed her chesnut colored hair, and stood up.She pondered on what they should do.It was obvious this was her only chance to fight with her friend that she met when she first started. On the other hand, if they waited, they would have a higher risk of surviving.Mitsarugi yawned and turned to Nikkio.Nikkio stood up awaiting an answer.

"We will be heading to the field on our own,Nikkio.I want the boys to take responsibility and find us themselves."Mitsarugi said in a tom-boyish tone.

Nikkio nodded with agreement and walked up to the Chaos Gate.Mitsarugi typed in the keywords "Hidden Forbidden Twin Hills", and became engulfed in a peircing light shade of gold. When they reached the field, the gaped at it.It seemed to be a field that housed a thunder storm. They walked on, drenched in water, but suddenly became face to face with a monster pair. The pair contained three monsters: a swordmanoid, a goblin, and a Deadly Moth.

"Come on Nikkio!!!!"Mitsarugi said darting up to the monsters."We have to beat these things!"

Nikkio ran close up to Mitsarugi, panting after her long run.She was a Wavemistress after all, and it was hard to run in her heavy clothes.

"Alright!Yah!!!!!!!"Nikkio said, pushing down the goblin and destroying it.

Mitsarugi ran up to the Deadly Moth, her blades extended, ready to fight. She knew she could cause death to the moth if she used Flame Dance a couple times. And so, she ran up to the moth and slashed it with all her might.

"Flame Dance!!!!!" Mitsarugi screamed, watching the moth evaporate before her eyes.

By the time she was done, Nikkio had already destroyed the Swordmanoid. Nikkio waved, and motioned Mitsarugi to come along.Mitsarugi ran up to Nikkio, and walked on, awaiting whatever came before them....

Nikkio2003 - June 9, 2003 09:30 PM (GMT)
"Well, THAT was an easy battle."
Brushing one of her long pieces of now soggy forehair out of her eyes, JENOVRA(get it, people? JENOOOOOOOVRA!! Sorry, I get PO'd about that.^^; ehe) walked up to the top of a steep crescent-shaped hill for a better view. Looking calmly about, she scanned the horizons of the field as far she could before the mist and thick heavy rain covered it. There were no portals nearby, just a small peculiar-looking pond, and the occasional trees and other types of growth and miscellany every few yards.
"Which direction now?" Jenovra shouted over the thunder.

Mitsarugi - June 9, 2003 10:11 PM (GMT)
Mitsarugi looked at Jenovra, and parted her dampened hair. She looked at Jenovra's deep, emerald green eyes, and her soaked tawny blonde hair.Mitsarugi truely didn't know what to do because the guys weren't there to help them.Thinking about the consequences,She finally came up with an answer.

"We'll go on, but if we get to the dungeon, we'll have to wait." Mitsarugi said, with a hint of guilt in it.

The two friends walked on, in the pouring rain, looking out for any sign of Shadow,Terror, and Kiwi. But as it turned out, they never saw them.Mitsarugi began to become worried, however, Jenovra was still as happy and cheery as she always was.Somehow, it amazed Mitsarugi. But then again, Jenovra never ceased to amaze her.

"Jenovra, how do you do it?" Mitsarugi asked.

"Hmm?How do I do what?Enchant guys with my beauty?" Jenovra joked.

Mitsarugi giggled. She knew Jenovra would never let her worry like this.It was just Jenovra's nature. However, if you got on her bad side, you might as well look out.

"Hey Jenovra, there's a portal!"Mitsarugi said with excitement.

Jenovra jumped with glee. She had wanted a portal to show up for so ong.Besides, it would dry their clothers anyway will all the action.Without thinking, Jenovra ran ahead, not considering how many monsters would be in the portal...

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 10, 2003 12:07 AM (GMT)
In the alleys and paths of Mac Anu, an interesting figure runs around. It dodges people clumsily and speeds as if it was a life or death matter to get to the Chaos Gate. Suddenly, it smashes into a person by accident.

"Oh sorry, sorry! Gotta go," blurts Kiwi.

"Watch where you're going you ****ing loser," yells an obviously angry player.

Kiwi rushes away and leaves the enraged stranger to help himself up. Near the Chaos Gate, an army of newbies streams back and forth, muttering keywords and testing weapons. Level 1 staffs and swords and blades fly around everywhere as the giant mob seems to be preparing to raid a higher level field in order to tear it apart by shear numbers. Lots of little newbie players seem to squirm around synchronously in a giant mass from hell. Kiwi dives into the flood of players, trying to shove his way through. Staffs and equipment fly around, smacking Kiwi repeatedly. His rude entrance into the newbie territory has stirred a large backlash of flying items. He retreats and rethinks how to get through this group. It is imperative he make it to the gate. After a moment of creative thinking, he turns to the newbies.

"OH MY GOD! IS THAT... NO... IT CAN'T BE.... IT IS!!!! HEY EVERYONE, IT'S BALMUNG," he shouts at the top of his lungs.

The collective of seemingly mentally linked amateurs turns to towards Kiwi. He simply points arbitrarily into town and watches them stampede away from the Chaos Gate like bulls in Spain. After laughing at his work, he stops with the realization that he still has to get to a field. If he had tried to get to a Zeit statue at the speed he was moving at the moment, he'd surely get first prize. Stopping short of smacking into the gate he remembers the keywords he was given.

"Hidden Forbidden Twin Hills," he yells victoriously.

His achievement in Mac Anu of convincing newbies away from the gate was not very difficult. Yet, it was only a fraction of what awaited him once he joined Mitsarugi. He did not fear the monsters on the field; he feared the players fighting alongside him for they were girls bent on complete independance. He shuddered at the thought of being stuck in the field with no one but them, yet he needed some experience and wasn't willing to go alone. The gold rings materialize his body into the field, something he has finally become used to. There lies a field of patchy grass, rising randomly in a rather flat landscape. Trees are somewhat scarce and rain poars down on him. Out there, somewhere, were two girls who could either help him get another level or become his worst nightmare. The memory of his last journey with Jenovra isn't painful, but neither is it pleasurable. And he has never met Mitsarugi before within the game. Her invitation to this place by flashmail was therefore strange and possibly a hoax.

Mitsarugi - June 10, 2003 11:50 AM (GMT)
Mitsarugi took her hair, now soaked, and put it into a pony-tail.She and Jenovra had been waiting for the past two hours, and it made her uncomfortable.Mitsarugi had been telling Jenovra the story of the four gods, and Jenovra had been falling asleep. But they didn't know that Kiwi was right on their tail.

"If the boys don't hurry up, I'm leaving without them." Mitsarugi said, annoyed.

"Now Mitsa. We have to let the boys take their time..."Jenovra said soothingly.

Suddenly, the girls heard pitter-pat on the dampened grass before them.It was heading their way.As if Mitsarugi and Jenovra were training their reflexes, tey took their weapons and extended them, ready to fight.Jenovra was chanting a spell, and Mitsarugi was preparing powerful Flame Dance skill. But to their surprise, one of their comrades showed up.

"Man..I'll never get use to nature...." said Kiwi in a muffled voice.

"Hello Kiwi.Have you by by any chance seen the rest of the guys?" Mitsarugi asked, ending with a laugh.

Kiwi stood up and shook his head.Mitsarugi and Jenovra felt gravely worried, and looked away.Kiwi however, he got the idea.He went over, and pushed the girls into the mud.

"K-Kiwi!!!!!Oh great, now my cream pants are dirty and wet!!" Jenovra said in an angry voice.

Mitsarugi and Jenovra pushed themselves out of the mud, and tried to clean each others clothes.Mitsarugi wasn't old and dilapidated. She could take Kiwi. But instead, the dirls shouted the same thing at the same time:

"KIWI YOU NUMBSKULL!"

Kiwi looked around and giggled. He thought this was all a joke either way.So, he took his sword, and walked on.Mitsarugi and Jenovra winked at each other and giggled.

"Alright, let's go." Mitsarugi said, darting ahead of everybody.

The party then came to a portal that was housing a pair of Deadly Moths. There were three of them, one for each. The field had become so dark, the party would have to fight and get this over with.

"Come on!!!Let's get them!!!!" Mitsarugi shouted, slashing violently at the Deadly Moth.

"This is easy..." Kiwi mumbled to himself, killing a moth in one hit.

Jenovra, however, was having some problems. She wasn't fit to use physical attacks, and the problem was, she had run out of SP.

"Hold on Jenovra!!!!" Mitsarugi said, frustrated.

Mitsarugi killed her moth in one last hit, and ran over to Jenovra. She was having a hard time.

"Juk Rom!" Jenovra shouted, killing the moth in one single spell.

"Good job Jenovra!Your spells are getting stronger!" Mitsarugi said cheerfully.

The party kept venturing, waiting for the lost boys, and then, saw something that was very mysterious to them...

Tokki - June 10, 2003 09:11 PM (GMT)
Tokki gated into the area next to Mitsarugi, and flashed a typical cold stare at her, followed by the extention of her fingertips towards her. Her stoic expression said it all, and the lack of emotion was common for her in times of battle. Mitsarugi knew what she was here for-- and must have felt some regret for not getting stronger fast enough for the duel they would have. However, the level handicap would hopefully be good enough for them to have a fair fight. Tokki nodded at her, and waved her hand, gating them both out and into the dueling location.

(You will return to this quest after the duel. If you fail to duel, your team receives a loss, and those who betted against you win all of the pot, and those who betted for you lose their money. Don't let a billion people down because you're afraid, Mitsarugi. Don't be so selfish.)

Nikkio2003 - June 10, 2003 10:26 PM (GMT)
"Oh bloody..." Jenovra sighs, aggravated, putting a hand to her head. "She's off to fight Tokki. Apparently their bout has been moved up a month.. much to her chagrin. Apparently, their not too fond of each other." picking up her staff, as she stood up, the tall wavemistress looked forward into the raining and the mist. "Might as well get some experience whilst we wait, instead of sitting about getting soaked.." she said, annoyed that one of the only party members-and leader of this 'party'- had been picked up and taken off in the midst of their quest..they hadn't even gotten to that forsaken dungeon yet!

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 10, 2003 09:42 PM (GMT)
Kiwi is only quick enough to see Mitsarugi disapearing. You lunges at Tokki and tries to grab her before she disappears but fails miserably and falls to the floor.

"What just happened," asks a confused Jenovra.

"Tokki has taken Mitsarugi somewhere," says Kiwi.

He gets up from the ground.

"I can see that, you know. But why? And where," asks Jenovra.

"I'll flashmail Mits. Maybe she can explain," says Kiwi.

"Where are you? What's going on? If you tell me the keywords to the field you're currently in, I can be there in some time," write Kiwi.

With the flashmail sent to Mitsarugi, Kiwi can only wait and prepare.

"So what do we do now," asks Jenovra.

"Ap Do," shouts Kiwi.

"What," says Jenovra.

"Ap Do," Kiwi shouts again.

She realizes that Kiwi has been casting spells on the two of them to raise their speeds. Now they can only wait nervously for an answer.

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 11, 2003 02:10 AM (GMT)
Annoyed by the fact that he can do nothing to help Mitsarugi unless she replies to his flashmail, Kiwi faces the fact he cannot save her and starts walking towards a portal. Jenovra follows, knowing how he must feel but deciding not to comment on his problem. They move faster than usual, thanks to the spells Kiwi casted on them. With a violent spin, a portal ceases to exist and is substituted by two Snip Snap crabs.

"I take right, you take left," says Kiwi.

"Fine," says Jenovra.

Kiwi takes a speedy approach towards the right crab. It clips its pincers menacingly, trying to convince him to step away. Instead, he smacks it over the head with his sword. The claws clamping down on his feet aren't a real problem as he dishes out a series of blows against the crab.

"Juk Rom," yells Jenovra.

Her chosen enemy flies a few feet off the ground, tangled and cut by raging thorny vines. With a sudden silence, the tornado of vanishes and a loud thump signals the landing of the crab. It rolls back in confusion and claps its pincers. A loud cracking sound draws Jenovra's attention momentarily.

"Death Bringer," Kiwi yells.

A high somersault ends with a hard landing atop his crab's head, slicing through a wound that he had made through its tough shell. It rolls back, rather mutilated, and fades away. He turns and glares at the remaining crab. Overcome with an instinct for survival, it steps back slowly.

"Oh no you don't! Juk Rom," yells Jenovra.

The crab hits the air again like a volleyball at the beach. As it spins around and receives slashes, the last thing it sees is a sword rushing up to its face. The halves of the dead creature fall to the ground and fade while Kiwi raturns his sword to his back. He allows Jenovra to rest and recover her SP a moment before trying to choose a new direction to go off in.

Mitsarugi - June 11, 2003 02:23 AM (GMT)
Mitsa ran up to the Chaos Gate in Mac Anu.She had just heard that her battle had been aborted, and she was rushing to catch up with her friends.Panting, she muttered the keywords.

"Hidden...Forbidden...Twin...Hills.... "

Suddenly, Mitsa(rugi) was engulfed in golden circles. She was happy to be getting back with her friends, better yet, the field.Once she landed on the field, she followed the foot prints left by her comrads. No JUST her comrads, her friends.Mitsa ran like the wind, and then approached to tall figures.

"Hey!!You guys!I'm back!"Mitsa shouted with happiness.

The two allies looked behind them. There, a gasping for breath Mitsa(rugi) stood before them.

"Tokki quit the fight....Now I'm back on the quest with you two..." Mitsa said.

Kiwi and Jenovra smiled. They knew how frustrated Mitsa was after she had went all that way.

"It's nice to have you back."Jenovra said, putting her arm around Mitsa's shoulder.

And with that, the party continued on, inching ever near, to the dungeon.....

ooc:Sorry it was short!:)I just got back from homework!

Nikkio2003 - June 11, 2003 02:26 AM (GMT)

"THERE you are...great, 3 down, 2 more laggard players to go...now which direction?" still lying back on her Water Wand, Jenovra drummed her fingers lightly against its' top, waiting for the 'leaders' to decide.

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 11, 2003 02:55 AM (GMT)
Extremely happy to see that Mitsarugi isn't hurt, Kiwi goes up to her and hugs her. It takes a moment for reality to sink in and for him to notice what he done. He becomes a bit embarassed and gets away from Mitsarugi.

"Ahhh... hehe, sorry about that. I guess I get a bit emotional sometimes with my friends," says Kiwi while he turns a bit red.

Jenovra, keeping a few comments at hand, decides to maintain some discretion for the moment and keeps them to herself. Both her and Kiwi still have their speed boosts active.

"I.. uh.. Ap Do," says Kiwi.

Mitsuragi now gains the swift movement that Kiwi and Jenovra have.

"Let's wait while you catch your breath and then continue," says Kiwi.

He turns away from his two friends, thinking he's made a complete fool of himself.

Nikkio2003 - June 11, 2003 03:18 AM (GMT)
Deciding it's better to not embarrassed the thoroughly flushed Kiwi already, and lifted the wand out of the mud, a sucking sond emitted as she did so as the earth let go, rivulets of water streaming in to fill the hole.
"My my, isn't this game lifelike.." she commented, slightly impressed, then got back to the matter at hand, moving it along a bit to get Kiwi off the spot, so to speak.

"Now, since we're all up-to-speed and ready to go..which direction? Before I get old here..ugh," she lifted her foot up, which was sank into a small puddle as she stepped forward, "Or I get too waterlogged to move."

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 11, 2003 04:52 AM (GMT)
Settling on a new course, Mitsarugi points out a portal not too far away. With their unnatural speed, it doesn't take a minute for them to reach it. Kiwi lets Mitsarugi lead the charge and set off the portal. A bright explosion of light reveals a Chicken Hand, fluttering up to escape the players' weapons.

"It's too high off the ground. My spells won't catch it up there," says Jenovra.

"Just give it a moment. Ap Ganz," says Kiwi.

His Earth element rises slightly above its ordinary amount. As wings flap and position themselves over Jenovra, he slowly walks away from the group.

"Hey! Wait a minute! Are you leaving us," asks Mitsarugi.

Sharp talons come down on Jenovra. Luckily, her speed boost allows her to move back with ease. While the Chicken Hand flaps its wings furiously to retreat from the players, Kiwi rushes up to it and grabs onto its legs. With the extra weight pulling it down to the floor, the Chicken Hand has no choice but to crash into the ground.

"Earth spells," shouts Kiwi.

Mitsarugi realizes what Kiwi is saying and points her sword at the monster.

"Gan Zot," she yells.

"Gan Zot," follows Jenovra.

The two spills wreak havoc on the ground, forcing jagged rocks to sprout from the ground and churn the panicking bird. Since a Chicken Hand is weak to Earth spells, it takes some heavy damage and attempts to escape with a fraction of its health. One final slash from Kiwi is all that is needed to bring an end to the bird's struggle. His additional Earth element proves fatal to the oversized parrot, which falls slowly towards the ground but disintergrates before completely impacting the floor.

Mitsarugi - June 11, 2003 11:35 AM (GMT)
ooc:Kiwi, your so embaressed over a little hug?Hmmm........AND I'M NOT AN IDIOT!I KNOW WHAT ELEMENT A CHICKEN HAND IS WEAK AGAINST!!!!!!!!Oh and, ShadowFyre and Terror won't be able to join us unless they finish their quest before we do.

Mitsarugi looked down on the grass, glistening with water. The Chicken Hand had fallen into a puddle, then evaporated. Jenovra was standing stationary, trying to recover her SP. Kiwi was sitting on a rock, watching the two recover. He obviously knew, that being with two girls, who don't even have high levels, would be a tough trip.

"Kiwi, Jenovra's almost done.Eat one of your brownies or something." Mitsarugi shouted.

Kiwi looked at Mitsarugi. He had forgotten he had his brownies with him.

"Ugh....Hold on..." Kiwi said, eating the brownie.

Jenovra looked at Kiwi in disgust. Kiwi had crumbs all over his clothes. Mitsarugi giggled, but Jenovra walked away.

"Come on you guys! There's a cliff over there with a portal!" Mitsarugi said, excited.

With their fast agility, the party ran over to the portal, almost in no time flat. The golden portal beamed, but opened as they approached it.3 goblins,1 deadly moth, and a chicken hand appeared.Without putting forth any effort, the three comrads destroyed the goblins.

"Mits!Jenovra!I'll take the chicken hand! You all work on the moth!" Kiwi said, running over to the monster.

Mitsarugi and Jenovra ran over to the deadly moth, then as a team, they attacked it together.

"Flame Dance!" Mitsarugi shouted, slashing at the moth violently.

"Juk Rom!" Jenovra yelled, killing the moth afterwards.

Jenovra walked away, but Mitsarugi stared at the cliff. She didn't feel safe around this land structure.

"Come on Mits!" Jenovra and Kiwi yelled at the same time.

Suddenly, the cliff broke apart, leaving Mitsarugi hanging on for dear life. Her first hand slid off of the edge, leaving her with one hand to work with.

"Help!!!!" Mitsarugi shouted in a muffled voice.

For some reason, she could have swore they didn't hear her.

Nikkio2003 - June 11, 2003 03:07 PM (GMT)
((Mitsa, he's embarrased because, well, how many times have YOU seen a guy hug someone?Oo; Heh, we must be rubbing off on him^^. Chill out! You did, but I didn't know!^_^ You've gotta break it down for dunces, ya know.:3 ))

Starting to walk back down the incline, she noticed that there were no apparent squishing sounds becoming compressed because of Mitsarugi following her..
"Come ON, Mitsa, we don't have all-" turning around, she didn't see her either. All there was was a drenched hand seen clinging to the edge.
"Honestly," rolling her eyes, Jenovra went over and- with some difficulty- lifted the light-armoured twinblade up to the cliff again, holding her slightly in the air for a second, possible because of her being a slightly taller than average woman.
"You owe me one." Half-smiling, the wavemaster unceremoniously plopped her on the ground, and set off down the hill again. "Now hurry up before THAT part breaks off on you."

----

About twenty minutes or so later, they trudged on, getting pretty much nowhere, and they all looked like wet cats stuck out in the rain. And Jenovra was running out of patience for this field..
"How far away IS this dungeon entrance?!" she asked, quite irritated they'd been stuck in the feild so long without a trace of the elusive entrance anywhere. "We've covered almost all the field, battled monsters about twenty different times, our spells have all worn off, and there's still no sign of it anywhere!-"
"Cooordyceps!*boing*"
"And those cursed grunty foods are beginning to get ANNOYING." Gritting her teeth, she trudged on.

After passing a few large engraved stone slabs, and a few more trees, a squareish, stone spot could be dimly seen ahead of them.
Squinting, they trudged forwards even faster..on closer inspection, there was a small hole in the ground, with water filled up in it and tiny sparkling bubbles being emitted from it.(sorry I forget what' it's called.^^; )
There also was another portal. Yippee.
But behind the portal, there was.. ta-dah, the dungeon Entrance! It looked slightly worn about the edges and eroded slightly because of the constant beating rain, leaving it smooth and slightly dilapidated. Apparently, they'd have to battle yet ANOTHER monster or two before going in.
"Fine. Let's get this over with....."
Stepping forward towards the slowly circling yellow rings, it began to sparkle and glow as it dissipated, spinning faster and faster to reveal-two swordsmanoids and a goblin.

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 11, 2003 05:18 PM (GMT)
"Oh great! I've never felt happier about seeing a portal before," says Kiwi sarcastically.

He notices a Swordmanoid glaring at him. Just as he's about to charge at it and knock off its head for being rude, Mitsarugi gets in his way and takes the Swordmanoid on herself.

"Juk Rom," yells Jenovra.

A tornado lifts the unsuspecting Goblin from firm ground and entangles him in thorny vines, along with the Swordmanoid that no one had been watching. Since Mitsarugi has taken the Swordmanoid that he was about to claim, Kiwi runs up towards the hovering Goblin. In a matter of seconds, two halves are all the remain of the creature. A slashed up Swordmanoid lands to with a 'THUMP' and raises its shield to guard itself from Kiwi's sword strike.

As her friends deal with the Goblin and Swordmanoid, Mitsarugi takes on a rude Swordmanoid on her own. She crosses her blades, catching an incoming attack from her opponent. Trying to push its sword back, she finds it is too stubborn to give up and takes an alternative approach to the problem. She suddenly moves sideways while guiding the enemy's sword downwards, so that it becomes jammed into the ground. While the Swordmanoid struggles to pull it out, she runs nimbly up the sword and stabs it in the face. The assault doesn't stop there, as she jumps off the sword and kicks the enemy in the face, knocking it to the floor. It cannot get up since Mitsarugi has jumped on its chest and is holding it down.

Kiwi has no problem tackling the Swordmanoid near him and goes up to it menacingly. It gets up from the ground and charges at Kiwi with its shield up.

"Death Bringer," Kiwi shouts.

The Swordmanoid lifts its shield and tries to block his attack. Kiwi's sword runs straight through the shield, turning it into mangled metal, and slashes the enemy's chest dealing light damage. The mangled shield is completely worthless and the enemy throws it at Kiwi, who swings his sword and brings the flying junk to a halt. As the Swormanoid prepares to attack him, it finds itself beaten to the punch as Kiwi rushes up to it and morbidly brings his sword through its body. The enemy becomes data dust before it can realize it has been killed. Putting his sword on his back, Kiwi notices Mitsarugi is about to end her battle and runs off towards the spring Jenovra first saw.

"Flame Dance," yells Mitsarugi.

Her blades catch on fire and deliver a stream of searing slashes across her target's body, which becomes covered in scorching wounds. The Swordmanoid can do little to save itself from her savage assault and simply withers away.

"I was watching your fight. That was pretty good," says Jenovra.

"Well thanxs Jenovra," says Mitsarugi with a smile.

While they talk, Kiwi returns to the group.

"What were you doing," asks Mitsarugi.

"Trying to use the spring," says Kiwi, apparently annoyed at something.

"WHAT!? Didn't you think about us," asks Mitsarugi.

"It's useless to complain about it cause the spring cannot be used. I realized that it's raining and if anyone uses the spring, their weapon's level will go down," says Kiwi.

Nikkio2003 - June 11, 2003 05:44 PM (GMT)
"So? Any takers on it? No?..then let's move on. Hopefully, we won't have any more battles for awhile." Brushing past the two arguing players, she headed down the slippy stairs, tiny waterfalls coming off the edges of the steps. "Don't slip." she added indifferently.

Heading down the entrance, they entered the dank, dark dungeon. Made almost entirely out of stone bricks, the pale walls looked old and dusty, untouched by the weather outside. After a few feet around the opening entrance, the pools of water on the steps stopped in a half of a semi-circle, the liquid glistening on the pallid stones. Beyond the stretch of tunnel before them, an ominous opening was awaiting at the end, with a pillar on either side, as pale as the floor yet with strange large light blue markings painted onto them, and small pieces had flaked off on the floor from the wear and tear of other players that had become before them. They too, had apparently grown pale and dusty with age.
"Home, sweet home."
Walking casually towards the next door, her shoes made a light tapping sound against the hard cold floor. Turning to face them once more, the wavemaster raised an eyebrow at them. "Well, are you coming,..or not?"

Mitsarugi - June 11, 2003 09:35 PM (GMT)
Mitsarugi nodded and looked at Kiwi.He had lasted with the two girls for a very long time. This had surpassed her prediction.

"Yeah, I'm coming."Mitsarugi said, walking over to Jenovra.

Kiwi looked at a mysterious painting on the cold, stone wall.Jenovra looked at it in a twisted way, like it was upside down.Mitsarugi however, understood the writing on it.It was a Japanese symbol,"Heart".

"To continue on in this dungeon," Mitsarugi started."It'll take a great deal of heart."

Jenovra and Kiwi gaped at Mitsarugi. They never knew she could read ancient Japanese.

"How...." Kiwi and Jenovra said together.

"Hehe!Let's just say I'm advanced in the real world!" Mitsarugi said, smiling.

The party walked into the next room that was engulfed in darkness. No dungeon in the game had ever been this dark.Suddenly, they heard a loud "Sweeee!"

"Jenovra!Kiwi!Look out!" Mitsarugi shouted, getting cut by the arrows that were shot.

Kiwi and Jenovra gasped at the trap.It disapeared right after the arrows were shot.

"Come on, let's go.." Mitsarugi said, hurt.

"Mitsa, you're hurt!Let's rest." Jenovra suggested.

"No, I'm pushing on."Mitsarugi replied, determined.

The party walked on, avoiding any traps, but then, came to a room that had a certain "Thing" waiting for them....

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 11, 2003 10:11 PM (GMT)
Once they have left the room of raging arrows, the party finds itself in a peculiar spiral. Just past the room they were in is an oddly built chamber with a single path to follow. This path coils around the walls of the chamber in a large descending spiral. The groups walks alongside a small wall that seems to have been built to keep people from falling off the side of the path. Jenovra looks down the center of the spiral and only sees an endless darkness.

"It's a long way down, I guess," says Jenovra.

As they progress down the spiral, Kiwi notices that hears a gushing sound and stands still.

"What are you doing now," asks Mitsarugi.

"Can't you feel that? Can't you hear that," asks Kiwi.

"Oh yeah! That's water moving under us! But why is there water here," asks Mitsarugi.

"Maybe it got in from the rain? Let's keep going," says Jenovra.

Further down the spiral, the tiles on the floor have symbols forming a grid. At the beginning is a granite slab that says "How was the weather outside?", followed by five lines of symbols. Upon closer inspection, the symbols are actually just letters in italic.

P,K,Y,M,N
D,N,X,A,Y
I,O,E,H,B
O,A,Q,K,S
R,G,Z,L,T

"So, are we supposed to do something here," asks Jenovra.

"I'm sure it's a puzzle," says Kiwi.

"It's hopscotch! Can't you tell? Look at the letters," says Mitsarugi.

She walks up to the tiles with courage and hops along the tiles, forming the word "RAINY". Nothing happens to her.

"See," she says.

Kiwi has no problem getting through the tiles. As Jenovra is about to finish her hopping, she decides to experiment with stepping on the wrong tile. Landing on tile infront of her, she suddenly feels the iron grip of gravity pulling her downwards. Kiwi rushes over to her, followed by Mitsarugi, and grabs her hand. A hard tug from the two of them defeats gravity, landing Jenovra on safe grounds with the rest of them. Curious as to what just happened, Kiwi looks down the hole which Jenovra seems to try to walk on. Water rushes below in a path similar to their's.

"The tile collapsed under your foot. And this place has two sets of paths that spiral down together. The water from the outside must be used to drag people down the path below the trap," he says.

"Like a big water slide," says Mitsarugi.

Standing up, Jenovra looks down the side of the spiral again.

"There's still a lot more to go. We've covered about one fourth of the whole spiral," she says.

Nikkio2003 - June 12, 2003 01:51 AM (GMT)
"This is so degrading.." she muttered underenath her breath, trudging forwards.
By the time she got to the next grid, Kiwi and Mitsarugi were already finished reading the question and trying to figure it out. Looking over, one could easily read..
"What are the bristles of a Camel's Hair Brush made out of?"

On the floor, just like the last one, was the italicized grid.
q,w,l,t,e,y,a
s,a,p,e,n,m,l
l,p,r,o,x,y,b
v,t,s,r,m,e,v
s,q,i,s,n,t,z
s,n,u,l,f,e,w,f

"I know this one,.." grinning slyly, she went up to the edge, and went through the letters, spelling the word slowly, hopping diagonal right forwards-then digaonal right backwards..then forwards, and forwards again, and completed walking across the puzzle unscathed until she spelt out-.
"S,q,u,i,r,r,e,l...it's squirrel. Quite an unusual pattern though." Lightly hopping off the last tile to the other side, Jenovra beckoned for them to follow, going on towards the next one.
---
"Hum..." putting her finger on her chin, she looked up at the question, and down at the grid.
"I think..it's lightning....."

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 12, 2003 02:05 AM (GMT)
Mitsarugi and Kiwi look down on the granite slab which holds their next question, which has the question "What can you see before you can hear?" engraved upon its flat surface. As with the previous puzzles, this one's question is also followed by lettered tiles.

N,G,E,H,Y
O,V,T,N,A
I,A,A,I,D
W,T,N,E,R
X,T,A,D,E
H,S,T,I,T
G,S,A,S,D
A,I,E,L,A
F,Y,L,R,B

"I'm sure you're wrong," says Kiwi with a grin.

"What? No way. Look again," says Jenovra.

"Lightning's last letter is too far off the rest of the word for it to be the correct answer, I think. The word 'BLASTWAVE' is made only out of consecutive tiles," says Kiwi.

"So what? Lighting makes more sense," says Jenovra.

Kiwi goes right up to the first row of letters, very sure that his answer is the correct one.

"I'll show her, and spare her from having to fall again," he thinks with confidence.

He takes a leap of faith and stomps down on the 'B', which remains stable. Now that his idea has been proven, he starts turning towards Jenovra.

"I," he says.

The single pronoun is the only thing Kiwi has a chance to say, as the floor gives way even before he is done turning. He suddenly finds himself under the iron grip of gravity, as Jenovra did. He tries to grab on to the edge of another tile, only to watch it crumble away and drop him into a watery trap. The water rushes by with an unstoppable force and drags Kiwi away from his friends with no mercy and little effort. Just before disappearing, he manages to blurt out a statement.

"I hate water," he shouts out in a panic.

Nikkio2003 - June 12, 2003 02:20 AM (GMT)
Looking surprised at his success, she utterly couldn't believe it was incorrect-because, as proven one second later as Kiwi dissapeared down the hole-she WAS right. Now looking thoroughly shocked, she watched her companion fall straight down, sucked into the churning black abyss below.

"Ki-...*sigh*.." Looking down, there was no trace of blademaster-the water was moving too rapidly for him to have stayed in sight for more than a second.
'Idiot..' sighing, she shook her head, and groaned inwardly at the bumbling joker's mistake. Putting back on her usual face, she turned around, half-smiling in a slightly mischevious way.

"Guess he couldn't listen to better judgement."

Turning about again, the wavemaster proceeded to step on the CORRECT tile, and went across, talking as she crossed.

"Ah well. No use following him-it's inevitable we see him again. We'll either meet up with him soon enough-or have to revive him when we see his ghost pleading for help. And I can't WAIT to hear his apology..." Jenovra continued in an indifferent voice, arms crossed quietly behind her as she walked over to the other side.

"One more to go....."

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 12, 2003 02:51 AM (GMT)
With his friends unable to do anything for him, Kiwi speeds down the stone slide. He tries desperately to grab on to some surface but finds the water is just too strong to fight against. The lonely player spirals down the room miserably, struggling to stay afloat in the water as well. He loses all reason in the gushing water, drowning in his own fear of the fluid the drags him on. Finally, he's simply to afraid to do anything and stops struggling. Under water, he looks up through the surface at the bricks the rush by.

"Is this what it feels like to be dead," he thinks.

His heartbeat calms down once he starts believing that he won't be able to get back to his friends. He feels peaceful in his watery grave and wonders why he's afraid of the water. Yet his ride down the slide cannot be eternal. The slide takes a sudden abrupt turn and he slams into a wall, only to continue drifting. It feels like an eternity since he fell into the trap but it has only a bit less than three minutes. The sudden turn of the slide's wall was no coincidence. It marked the end of the path. Kiwi's eyes widen at the sight of the spiral from the below and the feeling of something pulling him down. This time, it wasn't gravity trying to enforce its rules. It was the warm and welcomed caress of digital death. He falls down a sort of long waterfall, straight into a dark abyss. Choosing to ignore his current fate, he closes his eyes and hopes the end will be quick. Somewhere out there, his friends are worrying about him. But he has merely surrendered.

Unworried by the game, he waits with his eyes shut until something disturbs him. Hopefully, his next sight wouldn't be the Game Over screen. A loud splash into water is the first thing to get Kiwi moving again. He floats up to the surface of a large and deep pool, a cave offering a possible exit at one end. His HP is cut down by half by the fall, but still enough to survive.

"I wonder what happens to players that fall down here," he says to himself.

He remains unaffected by the water due to the fact that he just had to remind himself it was a game and that he couldn't drown. Swimming forwards towards the cave, he looks down the water. The pool is so deep that the bottom is completely dark. It did not grow infinitely due to a drain a meter along the wall from the cave. He wonders where the drain goes and figures it could be another potential exit for him. Reaching the edge of the water, he sits at the entrance to the cave and observes the waves caused by his legs in the water.

"This is a nice place to be sent for picking the wrong word," he thinks.

Catching sight of a large silhouette in the water, he moves closer to figure out what it may be. A part of the water seems slightly lighter than the surrounding water, but is too deep for him to make sure it's not his imagination. He decides to ignore the spot in the water and keep moving. As he gets on his feet, the sound of flowing water through the drain covers the sound of something larger moving towards him. He takes only a step before something smashes into the edge of the floor near his feet, throwing him off balance. His eyes meet with a Sky Fish of an unusual size. Normally, he'd simply block it with his sword and push it back. Yet this one was too large to be stopped like that.

"Death Bringer," he shouts

A powerful somersault ends on top of the fish, Kiwi's sword sinking in all the way. The blow fails to defeat the fish, irking it into a horrible mood. It shakes Kiwi's sword out and throws him into the water. Moving downwards, it catches him and drags him underwater. He manages to wiggle his way away from it and tries to swim up, only to be retaliated with a hard ram against the walls of the pool. The fish swims in a circle and prepares to ram again. Anticipating the charge, Kiwi swims to the side and is only rustled by the dangerous tuna. As it approaches a wall at high speed, Kiwi utters a phrase muffled in water.

"Gan Zot," he says.

Sharp spikes of rock emerge from the wall, impaling the fish which can do nothing to slow itself down. It rams right into the wall and depletes all its health in a flash. The large monster starts to disappear, but not before taking revenge. It casts Duck Lei before being reduced to floating data dust, leaving Kiwi to die from poison. Knowing he must take care not to drain his HP, he swims up to the surface and makes his way to the floor of the cave. The poison stops his character from moving any further and he collapses, still under a bit of water. He manages to pull out his Bandana and use Repth on himself. Still, his character stops responding to his commands and he has no choice but to remain patient.

Mitsarugi - June 12, 2003 11:37 AM (GMT)
Mitsarugi began to worry about Kiwi.Even though he would begin from where he saved last, that would be far from this dungeon.Jenovra sat in a corner, drawing with a rock on the wall. But on the other side, Mitsarugi stood near the tiles, wondering which way to go.If she jumped in to save Kiwi, they both would surely drown in the dark, raging water. But, if she leaved Kiwi alone, Jenovra and she would surely be able to survive. Then, Mitsarugi made a decision.

"Jenovra, don't wait for me." Mitsarugi said, jumping into the pitch-black, bubbly abyss.

"Mitsarugi, you idiot!" Jenovra shouted from above."He would've come back anyway....."

Mitsarugi began to be engulfed in the water.Even though she could swim, the stream was to fast for her to maintain concentration. She swollowed the salty, yet refreshing, water, and it began to make her feel sick. Her stomach felt as if a knot was pulling, and she stopped swimming.Mitsarugi slid to the floor, on which the water was flowing on.Then, she felt a hand.It was Kiwi's.

"Mmmmmmitsaaaaruuugi...." he said, with bubbles coming out of his mouth.

Mitsarugi looked forward.Kiwi was stuck in a cave. She wondered how childish he was being, but it was not the time to wonder.Kiwi held out his hand, and Mitsarugi tried to pull him out.Around 10 minutes later, they were in the dungeon again.

"Come on Kiwi!" Mitsarugi said, jumping on the correct tiles.

"Mits, I'm just following you." Kiwi replied with a grin.

The two allies walked into the room were Jenovra was.By now, she was picking flower petals.

"He loves me...He loves me no-.........What are you guys doing here?!" Jenovra said, turning crimson.

"Aww...Who was it for??Kiwi.............?" Mitsarugi said back, giggling.

Jenovra and Kiwi both blushed. It had never occured to them that they would be going on a quest TOGETHER.

"Aw come on.I was only joking." Mitsarugi began." Let's head on."

And so, the party wagged on, but they never knew that one of the hardest traps were ahead of them.

"Mirrors??" Jenovra asked, confused.

"I guess we have to pick the right one to move on...." Kiwi said.

"Are you kidding?! There's like, 50 of them!" Jenovra whined back.

"Oh, just pick a mirror!'' Mitsarugi shouted to both of them."The correct mirror should have ancient runes on it!"

Mitsarugi blinked.

"Wait you guys...Everything will be reflected!" Mitsarugi shouted to her team.

Mitsarugi looked around frantically, searching for anything to help them out. Then, she found the "Shield of Light''....

"Oh my...This will help us out!" Mitsarugi said, grabbing the shield and strapping it on her back."You guys, search for any sign of light!"

The three members searched everywhere, until Jenovra finally found a beam of sunlight.

"Mitsarugi, over here!" Jenovra yelled.

Mitsarugi ran over to the light, held up her shield, and pointed to the mirrors. The light reflected off of the shield, and broke the true mirror, revealing a door.

"Shall we go?" Jenovra asked, walking into the next room.

The party walked into the next room, hoping that their troubles had come to an end....

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 13, 2003 01:15 AM (GMT)
The group finds itself walking a short distance down stone stairs and entering an unfamiliar scene. They become amazed at the new twist the dungeon's appearance has taken. They find themselves within a sort of engine room. To their right, a machine turns giant gears with the force of rushing water. To their left stands a large armor, holding up a sword. Looking to his side, Kiwi finds a cog on the floor and ignores it.

"So this is where the water goes," he says.

Their steps make a clattering sound against a metalic floor. A large steel door at the end of the room stands in their way, with a lever to its right and a trail of gears running across the wall. The trail seems interrupted in the middle.

"I don't like that armor over there. We should figure out how get out as soon as possible," says Jenovra.

"I know! This is easy," says Mitsarugi.

She runs up to a lever beside the door and pulls hard. Refusing to budge an inch, the lever does nothing except tire her.

"Actually, we're missing a piece of the puzzle," says Kiwi.

He walks back to the entrance of the room and stands the gear he had seen on the floor. Rolling it across the room, it stops next to Mitsarugi. Jenovra and Mitsarugi lift the gear into place, fitting it snuggly with the others.

"Yeah! Teamwork," cheered Mitsarugi.

Mitsarugi pulls back the lever once again and the group watches the thick metal door slide left, opening a new path. While Mitsarugi and Jenovra move forwards, Kiwi stays in the same spot.

"Are you coming already? We don't want anymore accidents," says Jenovra.

"I'll be right with you," responds Kiwi with a smile.

Mitsarugi looks at Jenovra, a bit concerned. Jenovra simply shrugs and keeps walking. Surprisingly, Kiwi turns towards the gears.

"Death Bringer," he shouts.

"What is he doing!? Gan Zot," shouts Jenovra.

Kiwi sword slices right down the gear they had put into place, blowing it into two large chunks. The thick metal door that they had worked to open was now closing rapidly. Jenovra's spells brings a jagged rock into the door's way, only to delay it for a short moment. The rock is crushed to a pulp and the door shuts completely. Kiwi takes a deep breath and turns to face the other end of the room.

"Indeed, that was a sneaky tactic," says a mysterious voice.

"I knew it wouldn't take long before you arrived," Kiwi responds.

"I was watching for some time. For a moment, you had me convinced you had escaped me by falling into the trap on purpose," says the voice.

"Then why did you stay," asks Kiwi.

"I was fortunate enough to see that girl bring you back," replies the voice.

"Yeah. I wasn't expecting her to do that. But they're still safe if they don't see you," says Kiwi.

"Indeed. As long as they don't see me, they won't become target," says the voice.

"Mitsarugi, you and Jenovra must not turn back for me," Kiwi writes in a flahmail.

In an effort to spare the girls a painful death in the real world, Kiwi sends an urgent flashmail. However, the message doesn't reach its destination without taking a sinister detour. A body begins to take form a few feet from Kiwi, which he recognizes as the source of the voice. The cat-like creature is black with neon-yellow stripes, the only visible ones running under its eyes like slashes. Its garbs are black robes with an armor underneath, yet it walks nimbly and effortlesly. A wintery aura it gives off reminds Kiwi of the last time they met. Slanted red pupils maintain a vigilant watch on Kiwi's sword. This time, however, it carries new items. The large sword it once wielded is no longer with the creature. Instead, it carries what appears to be a katana. On its right wrist is a curious bracelet that Kiwi had never noticed before.

"I'll let you send a message this time, having verified that its contents is not asking them to help you," says the cat with a malicious smile.

"Nice. You were given a new weapon," Kiwi says.

"Failure is no longer an option," says the cat.

The cat draws its katana from a sheath of misleading beauty and craftmanship. One could almost mistake it for a rare event NPC. Kiwi responds by twirling his sword.

"What would you gain from true murder? This is a game, and has nothing worth killing for," says Kiwi.

"On the contrary, it has everything. I'm here protecting my kind's future from humans who know too much. This is our home, which you humans polute, erase, and edit at your whims. Once we find a way out of The World, we will surely prosper. You and the others are impeding my dream," shouts the cat.

It does not expect a worthy response to this issue from Kiwi and simply lunges at him, blade leading its aggresive thrust. Kiwi swings forward, nailing the edge of the cat's katana with the edge of his and causing them both to shake madly. This catches his opponent off guard and shakes its katana right off its grasp.

"Ap Do," says Kiwi.

The cat recovers its katana from the floor and jumps back in order to dodge an attack from Kiwi.

"I see... you have new equipment as well. Then this shall decide who is the strongest," says the creature.

"Yes, between the players and the software. This shall decide," says Kiwi.

Nikkio2003 - June 13, 2003 02:55 AM (GMT)
"The devil-KIWI!!!" Yelling angrily at him leaving them alone AGAIN, she ran to the door, and smacked into it, though it was already closed by the time she had started. Smashing her staff against the door angrily, it made a loud sound, and she glared vehemently at the door. "Curse you...leaving us alone AGAIN." muttering to herself, she leaned against a wall, thinking and ranting for a few minutes as Mitsarugi tried to get through the door, even after recieving the 'Dont follow me' Flashmail. "If you wanted to go hero, you should've done a stupid SOLO quest....bloody.."
Sighing, she stood up, and walked over to Mitsa, putting a hand on her shoulder and shaking her head. "Don't even try. You haven't made a dent in seven minutes...." she shrugged. "His own loss. We'll meet up with him again..though he'll really get it for leaving us out again."
Looking about, Jenovra looked for another door, another entrance to go through whilst they bided their time. Nothing, except for the quickly turning cogs, the noisily rushing water, and small banging and smashing noises coming through the heavy door, accompanied by random muffled utterings of two people inside-wait a minute.

"I've got it!"

Walking over near the edge of the churning foaming water coming out from underneath the master cog,
Jenovra looked down, smiling knowingly.

"What is it?.." asked Mitsa curiously, going over closer to the edge, looking down through it.
"I found the path to our next room.."
"We're not leaving Kiwi, are we?!" she looked up, startled.
"No no, just letting him fend for himself. After all, he DID say 'dont follow me'," Jenovra reminded her innocently.
"But-oh fine.." Still worried, she went back to looking at the water, leaning precariously over it. "So...what do we do? You gotta plan?"
"Yes..we go through it...'kiwi-style',..." she said, grinning evilly.
"Kiwi-WHA?!" Startled, she was about to move back-but it was too late.
"Down you go!" Pushing the dismayed twinblade forwards abruptly, she watched her try to balance herself, and-....fall in.
"JEEENOOOOOOVRAAAAAAAAA!!!!" she shouted angrily, waving a fist as she sputtered over the water before briskly being whisked underneath the foam as it headed into a sewer-like tunnel.
"Happy sailings!" Saluting, Jenovra went closer to the edge herself, but stopped at the edge, looking back at the slightly dented door as another blast was heard from inside it.
"....You Jerk."
And in she went.

--------------

A few minutes later, the two girls were pushed suddenly out of the tube of water, repelled forwards out of it by it's strong pressure, and royally smacked onto a stone floor a few feet away.
"WHEW! Good thing this is a game..or else i'd've DROWNED!..Thanks alot, Einstien." glaring over at her companion, Mitsarugi watched her get up and slightly brush off some excess water that hadn't soaken in.
"You're welcome. No problem," she said smiling, wringing out one of her slightly wavy forelocks.
"You know, I COULD'VE done with an advanced warning," Mitsarugi prattled on.
"Oh, stop your yapping. Besides, we can't go back now.."
"-wha?"

At the end of the pipe, a strange, net-like wiring cover it in a cone-like shape, narrowing into a slightly smaller tube than their figures, the water draining through a finely-weaved patch of metal lines right below it, acting like a drain as half of it flowed into another river leading to the next pipe. The edges were jaggedly cut though, and obscuring the way.
"It's like a fish-trap," She said, pointing out the different charictaristics as she continued on, "Us sliding into it-plus the pressure-helped us easily slide downwards. Yet now, along with the torrent of water, the smaller amount of space at the end makes sure that we can't fit through it. On top of that, there are loose, sharp points at the end of there-which we didn't get hurt on the way down because of us facing the same direction- would be very harmful to us now. And apparently they've made sure that the metal is thick enough so it can't be breached." sighing, she tapped on it with the end of her Earth Wand. It made a 'twang' noise, but didn't budge. "So, as you can see, we are definetally stuck."
"I'm not an idiot," Mitsarugi said irritably.
"*sigh*Nevermind,..." Rolling her eyes, she pointed to the other end of the large- and previously ignored- room. On the left wall, another tightly-weaved Metal covering was around another pipe, that out of it spewed another rapidly-moving stream, leading over to a closed wire entrance that lead to the next room.
"The other wire entrance over there is conveniently shut. So i guess we'll have to fight whatever demonic monsters await us if we want to head on-no matter how many rooms that is...." the wavemaster trailed off.
"SO! Let's stop TALKING so much and start FIGHTING!! Whatever's in there, it won't scare me! It's beatable if we work TOGETHER!" Grinning, the twinblade got up, nodding to her.
"Oh, the great Mitsarugi is here..be afraid.." Jenovra said sarcastically.
"HEY! Brat..."
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing...." she said airily, smiling to herself.
" Remember to be nice to those who could very well save your skimpily-clad rear soon.." she said, smacking her on the head with her staff's tip.
"I RESENT THAT!"
"Let's just get on with this.." groaning, she stepped towards the portal, and it spun wildly. It revealed-
A Magical goblin, and two Regular goblins.

"PLEASE...." rolling her eyes at the pathetic bunch, she awaited patiently for a goblin to run snickering up to her, its ugly wrinkled face in a grin-until it got blasted.
"Gan Zot..." Jenovra said half-heartedly, raising one arm in the air while she didn't even bother to pick the other hand off her waist. After the great stones had dissapeared from the screeching figure, he fled backwards towards the Magical Goblin, who was about to cast poison on Jenovra- Fortunately he was interrupted during his chant by a mass of sharp leaves smashing themselves repeatedly into him and the Normal Goblin in a miniature tornado of swirling greenery. Sputtering angrily, he ran away ,cut, into a corner away from the dead goblin that was slowly dissapearing on the floor. She smiled at her handiwork.

Mitsarugi was hacking away at the other one. It died in a few hits, though she took one for herself for being over-confident. "Aw...I didn't even have enough time to get creative with him and do my special attacks..." she pouted.
"Next time-IF there's any challenge." slinging her Earth Wand over he shoulder, she strode towards the next entrance, when-that Magical Goblin cast poison on her.
"Blast-!" whipping around, she glared at him, purple dots showering off of her to signify the poison's affect, and raised her wand-only to be beaten to the punchline by Mitsarugi, who had neatly sliced the Voodoo man in two.
"Your welcome." she looked over her shoulder, smiling. "Besides, you're out of SP....you couldn't've casted a spell."
"So, it was a fluke," smiling, she winced as the poison depleted 17 precious HP from her.
"Repth."
"Oh, you're being such a good little girl scout, aren't you?" Jenovra said, raising an eyebrow-but still happy.
"Like you said yourself, 'Dont insult someone who could save your butt later," Mitsa grinned.
"Close enough.So...got any antidotes?" Poisoned again.
"Nope. Repth!"
"Well, we'll just have to keep waiting till it goes away..." she sighed.
"We can wait-and after you're better, I'll need a bit of healing too."
"Right. Repth!"..

And after a few more minutes, the poison had worn off, and they went to the edge of the water, ready to jump in again.

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 13, 2003 07:27 AM (GMT)
Alone within the large engine room, Kiwi faces off with his nimble adversary. Using his boosted speed, he rushes over to the cat and brings his sword down. The cat nimbly jumps out of the sword's path and rises to a distance that Kiwi could never achieve. In response, he predicts where the cat will land and readies a new attack.

"Death Bringer," he shouts.

Somersaulting in the direction of the cat's landing, his sword slashes only through air and smashes the metal floor, depressing it an inch or two. He stands quickly while spinning to keep up with his opponent. In an instant, both of their weapons crash into each other with great force. The cat had managed to disappear and appear a few feet behind Kiwi while his Death Bringer attack was executing. Their swords screech against each other, steel tearing steel, as both shake from the force they exert. Unable to end this draw, the cat chooses the jump back. Kiwi looses his balance and hits himself hard against the floor. Standing up angrily, he wonders why the cat had not attacked him while he was down.

"Death Bringer," he shouts again.

As he goes into the air for his attack once again, the cat pulls back its right sleeve and shows its bracelet. The bracelet is covered in intricately detailed symbols which Kiwi is unable to see at the moment. Its right paw rises up towards Kiwi and curls into a sort of fist, while the left paw holds on firmly to the bracelet.

"Analyze," it shouts.

"Oh no," Kiwi thinks.

Suspecting a terrible mistake on his part, Kiwi tries desperately to veer his somersault in another direction. A brilliant white beam bursts out from the cat's paw and rushes up to Kiwi, striking his sword and barely missing his head. The cat seems surprised at the miss but has no time to retry its attack. It disappears defensively while Kiwi lands hard on his side. Strangely, he finds his sword unaffected by the attack, simply groaning and getting up as the cat reappears.

"That was rather unexpected," it says.

"What was? Dodging the shot," asks Kiwi, twirling his sword.

"You'll see," the cat replies with a grin.

Yet again, the cat charges at Kiwi. He raises his sword and prepares to block the upcoming impact. Slashing diagonally, his sword seems to go through the cat. In the blink of an eye he finds himself alone, his enemy having disappeared just inches from him. He turns, knowing the creature always appears a few meters of where it was standing and oriented in the opposite direction. It materializes as predicted. He decides to try his luck again with his sword's skill.

"Death Bringer," he shouts.

He flies off the ground in a somersault towards the cat, but not worrying about its new been ability.

"Death Bringer," shouts the cat.

Kiwi's eyes widen at the sound of those words. He struggles to realize exactly what is going on but remains too slow. Two swords collide violently in midair, screeching loudly. The cat lands nimbly from its attack, tracing a scratch on its armor with a paw. Kiwi, on the other hand, flies off from the impact and slamming into the large armor's leg. In the real world, his right hand shakes and grips his controller tightly. Small red droplets trickle down the controller's surface. Confused as to what just happened to him, Kiwi has little time to think as a large metallic body moves past him. He becomes startled and stumbles across the room until his back presses against the thick metal door.

"What the hell is that," asks Kiwi.

His opponent remains silent and looks up at the large armor, which has began to move. Red eyes shine through the grating of its helmet and peer out into the world. Turning its rusty head, the living mail catches sight of two targets within the room. The mail's hand rises up and threatens to come down and crush the nearby offending cat. Kiwi takes this opportunity and tries to open the metal exit by pulling back the lever. As he thought would occur, the door would not budge. This room could very well become a tin coffin.

"Brother! Aid me in the defeat of this enemy of ours," the cat says warmly.

The mail's hand remains in the same spot for a moment, as if its barbaric brain has difficulty handling the cat's words. A simple decision was finally taken by the armor, its hand racing downwards and twisting the floor. An angered feline appears about a foot off the mail's right leg, dropping to the floor and facing up. The giant's helmet looms over the cat, preparing to strike again. The cat's right arm flies up, revealing its bracelet again. Kiwi decides this would be a good moment to escape and looks around for options.

"Rewrite," shouts the cat.

Its left paw has a strong grasp over a glowing bracelet. It takes only a second or two for a red beam to emerge from a fist, striking the mail right through the head. Kiwi is utterly amazed by the transformation the living armor goes through as it shrinks down to into a new creature. A gigantic full set of armor becomes a mangled tin man. This new entity limps slowly towards the cat, whose eyes seem widened in shock of an unexpected creation. The armor moans in pain and collapses next to the cat, finally bursting in data particles. Both remaining fighters in the room are silent. Their mouths are open, yet not a single sound is uttered. Turning his head a bit, Kiwi's eyes meet with the distant slanted red pupils of the feline. It races to get up and finish of Kiwi, realizing he's attempting to escape.

"Death Bringer," it yells.

Kiwi has only seconds to notice that the running water within the room has to go somewhere. He runs towards the machinery, the effects of his Ap Do fading, and barely dodges his somersaulting enemy. It disappears quickly and he rushes to climb up the machine's gargantuan gears. At the top, he can see both the water rushing out of the room through a large pipe and the cat glaring at him.

"Air Slash," it shouts.

Swinging its sword across the floor like a golfer hitting a golf ball, the demonic neko fires a wave of bright purple flames towards Kiwi. It runs across the floor, reaching the machinery. Just as Kiwi thinks the flames have only struck the machine and gone out, he has a split second to dodge the incoming fire. It zips up the machine at lighting speed and passes him by, only licking his hand. Determined to escape, Kiwi turns his attention one last time to the room before jumping into the water and leaving. Right then, he finds himself facing a nightmare. His frightened eyes reflect off the stainless steel of a katana, crossing right through his face. The cunning feline had taken the opportunity that Kiwi was distracted by the running fire and leapt up into the air, dealing a death blow with its katana. Its victim failed to react to the blow, becoming a mute corpse. With the momentum of his last motions, Kiwi falls off the machine and into the water, being washed away without a struggle.

An eerie peace envelops the room as all the fighting that took place within it has ceased. The cat, pleased with its performance, bows politely in the direction where Kiwi once stood.

"Victory," it whispers while disappearing.

Nikkio2003 - June 14, 2003 01:55 AM (GMT)
As soon as they jumped in, they were immediately spat out-this tunnel was only roughly 3 or 4 feet long.
"Well, wonderful..soaked again." Jenovra wrung out her hair again.
"There'll be quite a few more times, get used to it."
"Bah."
In this room, it was relatively the same- the same tan, dusty stone-brick walls and floor, same portal in the middle of the room.
"shall we?" said Mitsarugi.
"Yes." She nodded slightly, and they both charged towards the portal.

As it quickly spun away, they charged headfirst into-a large, black, drooling, demonic beast that could hardly be put in the same category of it's humble canine counterparts. Red flames licked its body and the ground around it, as red as his slitted glowing crimson eyes. His yellow, stained teeth bared, his breath's dank overpowering stench spread over them in waves. It's looming shape just added to the black beasts' frightening appearance.

“Hellhound. How amusing,” the Wavemaster commented, a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth. “Juk Rom.”

The monster let out a pitiful howl as rocks emerging from underneath him tore at its' underbelly.

Running back a few feet whilst it was occupied, she turned around and fired another Earth Spell at it-trying to avoid the hacking Mitsa.
"watch it!" She glared.
"Don't get so close, then!" Jenovra snapped back.
"Humph. Easy for her to say.." Slashing three times at the creature's maw three times in a row with both blades, the Hellhoud growled and tried to take a bite out of her shoulder-but it missed because of the twinblade's sheer speed. Unfortunately, Mitsarugi didn't have enough time to dodge the swipe it gave right afterwards. It cut into her arm, giving quite a bit of an HP drainage. She gasped, then turned to glare at the beast, balling up her hand into a fist.
"Why, you..." Ticked off, Mitsarugi ran at the beast, slashing him multiple times, his claw, back, neck, skull, anywhere and everywhere to get back at the Demonic Dog, jabbing and slashing and twirling about, dancing around the bewildered monster so it couldn't get in another attack. Poor thing didn't stand a chance.
"Finish him off already, will ya?!" shouted over a slightly bored Jenovra.
"I'M GOING!" Hopping up onto it's back, she took one of her blades into both hands, her other knife between her gritted teeth, and plunged it inbetween it's large shoulderblades.
"SIT, BOY!"
Howling, it tried to buck her off for a few seconds before collapsing on the floor, dead. It's lumbering body smacking into the floor made the room shake, then it started to dissappear.
"Good dog," Looking quite amused, Jenovra was a little impressed at the thinly-framed girls' feat.
"Repth me!" Mitsa grinned proudly, once again with a blade in each hand.

After they were all healed and recovered, they awaited for the next entrance to open up, so they could continue on.
"Ready, steady.." Mitsarugi rocked back and forth on her heels, bracing herself for the jump.
"Oh-Mits?" Jenovra put a hand on her shoulder to stop her.
"Wha-huh?" Blinking, she looked back at the tawny-blonde. "what is it?.."
"How about you send a flashmail to Kiwi? He's certainly had enough time to finish whatever he WAS doing..."
"Good idea!" The twinblade grinned, and turned away, typing a message to him. A few seconds later, she looked back at her, still smiling. "Alright! I told him he'd better get his butt moving-and we'll wait for him here."
"WHAT?! That could take FOREVER.." she said, exasperated.
"I'm not moving." Sitting down on the floor, she crossed her legs and waited patiently.
"...I see you're not going to budge." Giving in,Jenovra leaned on the wall next to her. "Tell you what. We'll wait here until kiwi comes back, or five minutes pass. If he's not back by then, he'll just have to catch up to us."
"It's a deal!" nodded Mitsa happily.
And so they settled down, and waited for their friend, Mitsa putzing around with her blades, and Jenovra watching the time irritably.
((2 down, 5 to go....))

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 14, 2003 04:19 AM (GMT)
A body lies immobile against a wall, clothes soaked. Its eyes remain tightly shut until a small jingling sound goes off. It is the sound of an arriving flashmail.

"Ohhh... my face hurts," moans Kiwi.

Opening his eyes, Kiwi begins to cry. He finds it terribly difficult to ignore a pain in his face. In reality, his left hand slips off his controller and rises up to his face. Eyes focusing, he is disturbed by the red blotch crossing his visor. He passes his fingers over his face, wincing in pain, and looks down through the gap between his face and the visor. His fingers are tainted in a dark reddish liquid. Afraid, he is unable to think clearly and realize what's going on. His eyes finally focus on the game world. Crawling across the floor, he makes it to another area through which water is rushing. If his friends had gone through the area, they could only have left through this route. Tolling on his side, he falls into the water and is washed into the next room. Luckily, this tunnel was rather short and his friends had been delayed by the Hell Doberman. The squishing noise of wet clothes let his presence be known. He was still unaware people were there since he had covered his face with one hand.

"Hey look! It's Kiwi again," says Jenovra, a bit more concerned than happy.

"Cast Repth on me! Shut up and cast Repth on me," Kiwi yells.

One hand remains on his face. The other flails around madly trying to grab Jenovra. His body glows with a red aura, indicating his HP is critically low. Rather than being angry, Jenovra remains concerned at his erratic behavior. She kneels down beside him and holds his flailing hand still.

"Repth," says Jenovra.

Kiwi's HP returns without a hassle, but he still covers his face and seems hurt.

"Wait a moment, I need to clean this up and get a bandage," mutters Kiwi with tears in his eyes.

Kiwi's player stopped moving within the game, giving Jenovra more reason to worry. In the real world, Humberto stumbles through a house with a small first aid kit at hand. He had been fortunate that the sword hadn't really touched him enough to cause a serious wound. It left a painful diagonal cut down his forehead, running down the left of his nose and ending an inch over his lips. Once he reaches a faucet, he cleans out the blood from his eye and is careful to patch himself up in order to finish his game. He was a bit angered that Jenovra's healing spell didn't fix his face, but could do nothing.

"I wonder what's going on with him," says Mitsarugi.

"We'll ask when he gets back," says Jenovra.

Kiwi's lifeless body within The World had just sprung up, scaring the girls half to death.

"Is something wrong with you," asks Jenovra.

"I'll be okay. Let's just get to the end of the dungeon," says Kiwi.

To eliminate their worries, he smiles at the girls. They seem a bit relieved to see him acting normally. It takes a moment before Kiwi becomes used to the weight of his bandages and returns to playing normally. Staring at their awaiting exit through another stream, he sighs.

"I thought I was wet enough already. But ladies first," he says with a grin.

Mitsarugi stands next to the rapid water, a bit apprehensive about taking a dive again. Jenovra seems to have been expecting this and impatiently pushes her into the water. Walking past Kiwi, she glares at him menacingly as a warning. As her head turns, Kiwi pushes her into the water as well. Taking a moment to laugh and watch her disappear, he comically holds his nose shut with one hand and jumps into the stream. At the other end of the pipe an argument rages on.

"Would you stop doing that," shouts Mitsarugi.

"You’re not the only one who has reason to complain this time," mumbles Jenovra.

The two soaked girls again go through their drying ritual. Calmly, Jenovra steps away from a perplexed Mitsarugi. It doesn’t take long before Mitsarugi realizes she's at the wrong place at the wrong time and tries to make a run for it. Kiwi royally smacks right into her while coming out of the pipe. Getting off the floor, he feels a squishy thing under his hand. With her hair all over her face and a hand pressing down from the side, she sighs and decides to forget this ever happened... for now.

"Hand off face, please," utters the squishy mass.

"Oh, it's you," says Kiwi.

The three find themselves facing another portal, glimmering at the center of their room. This one is very similar to the previous two, made of old stone bricks with two streams of water. It was a rather small room that would make most people nervous because it seemed to have no exits. Yet the truth was that the entrances and exits were by raging rain water. Relieved to be back in a normal gaming scenario, Kiwi takes the initiative and set off the portal. From this portal a Sword of Chaos was born. The seemingly primitive monster, composed only of a shield and a sword, remains still.

"That little thing is weak. This should be easy," says Jenovra.

Kiwi moves towards the monster to distract it, blocking its sword slashes with a slight worry in mind.

"Just one detail. Where do I hit it!? It has no body," complains Kiwi.

"Hit it back! You won't do any damage by just blocking it," says Jenovra.

While the sword dukes it out with Kiwi, Mitsarugi quietly walks around the perimeter of their battle. Slipping behind the monster, she prepares to try to take it out. The monster's shield seems to spot her and trades places with the sword, pushing Kiwi back.

"Flame Dance," shouts Mitsarugi.

She waves her flaming blades around, aiming for the hilt of the enemy's sword. It blocks and dodges some of her hits but surprisingly takes damages.

"I found a weak point," she proudly announces.

The autonomous sword begins to pursue Mitsarugi aggressively for the damage she caused, forcing her to block blow after blow. Taking a great opportunity for itself, the sword floats around Mitsarugi and stabs her from the side. Stepping back to escape this menace, she slips on a puddle of water.

"Juk Rom," Jenovra shouts with a wave of her wand.

The tornado of sharp greenery is too weak to cause much disturbance to the sword and only causes it minor damage. It relentlessly slashes Mitsarugi, who can barely defend herself on the floor.

"HELP," she cries.

Jenovra points her wand at the malignant sword again, only to have an ally distract her.

"Don't waste your magic on that thing! If you want to help her, target this shield," shouts Kiwi.

Jenovra stalls, wondering what she should do. Deciding to waste no more time, she takes Kiwi's advice and blast the annoying shield that keeps him pressed against a wall.

"Juk Rom," she shouts.

The whirling tornado pushes the shield away from Kiwi, giving him some space to move and possibly distract the sword that's harassing Mitsarugi. Instead, he smashes the shield with the broad side of his sword and sends it spinning away. Jenovra becomes furious at Kiwi for not helping Mitsarugi while he could and thinks of how she'll whip him into shape once this is done.

"Death Bringer," shouts Kiwi.

With his usual somersault skill, he manages to slice the stubborn shield in half. Its pieces fly in opposite directions and break into dust. Kiwi's eyes manage to glimpse the fate of the other part of the monster. Its sword looms over Mitsarugi, turning into dust as well and fading away. Jenovra is astonished by this result and remains quiet, her ideas of casting Gan Zot on Kiwi fading with the disappearance of the enemy. Happy about the success of his plan, Kiwi spins his sword and returns it to his back.

"Minus one Sword of Chaos and plus one for the players," he says with a smile.

Mitsarugi - June 15, 2003 12:02 AM (GMT)
ooc:Sorry guys!!!I was at my friends house sleeping over, and I couldn't post.I'll try to make a long one!
In the real world
A young 4th grader lies on her bed, burning from the vicious sunburn.Playing "The World" was very hard, especially when you were forced to be on 24/7.She ran to the first aid kit and applied aloe vera to her irritated, crimson colored skin.Shae ran back into her room, getting ready for action.By surprise, she had many flashmails.

"Mitsa, you there?"

"C'mon Mits!We have to go!"

"Mitsa, is it your sunburn?"

In "The World
Mitsarugi clung onto her arm tightly. Her and her player were connected in some sort of way. She felt her sweat inch down her forhead as her arm ached violently.Kiwi turned away and mumbles some cuss words.Jenovra wiped some water on Mitsarugi's arm.

"Come on Mitsa. We have to move on." Jenovra said, soothingly.

Mitsarugi turned to Jenovra and nodded. They only had three more rooms to go.She looked around the room, and saw a portal. The portal glimmered with a soft light, beaming luminescence into the dark room, transforming the setting into a bright eclipse. Then, the portal opened, revealing two Swords of Chaos.

"Just let Kiwi take care of them." Jenovra said, sitting down.

"But...." said Mitsarugi, clenching her fists.

"Down Mitsa!" Jenovra scolded.

Mitsarugi sat down and waited. It took Kiwi a few seconds to finish the monsters off.

"Alright ladies." Kiwi said."Let's move on.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------The real world

Shae pressed her pause button. The sunburn had eased down a bit, but it was still stinging like mad.Shae put an ice block close up to her arm and sighed.

"I'm almost down...." she said, putting on her visual helmet.

Suddenly, the video screen turned into green numbers. The backround became black, just like in the Matrix.

"Try and beat the cat.....It's a virus...named Enilef...." the voice echoed.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------"The World"

"Alright, let's move on."said Mitsarugi.

The party waged on, with three rooms remaining. The problem concerning Mitsarugi though, was Enilef. It was a virus.

Yet, the party had soon to realize that Enilef would be their greatest problem yet...

KamiKazeKiwi3 - June 15, 2003 08:12 AM (GMT)
Taking their furious water slide ride once again, the party ended up in yet another stone room. It was apparent that thing would increase in difficulty as they progressed through the slides and rooms. As before, they we caught within a room with a sealed exit. It would remain so until they defeated the only portal in the room. Tired of leading the attacks, Kiwi decided to have Mitsarugi take this one on.

"You lead this time, Mits," says Kiwi.

"I'll beat them," Mitsarugi cheers.

Stepping forth, she set off the disruption of the portal. Out of the light came a Cadet Valkyrie. It looked angry, as if it had been having a bad day. Mitsarugi's eyes widened a moment, her feet sliding slightly to the side as if preparing to either escape or attack. The Valkyrie spins its lance rapidly, causing a whistling sound to alert Mitsarugi of a powerful attack. The lance gains incredible momentum, capable of dealing a critical hit to her.

"Mitsarugi! Come back! I think it's just about ready to strike," shouts Kiwi.

"Juk Rom," shouts Jenovra.

The Valkyrie isn't intimidated by the spells and leaps sideways, avoiding the tornado spell completely and maintaining the spin on its lance. A loud sound of tearing metal emerges from the pipe they came in, distracting Jenovra and Kiwi. Kiwi's eyes widen in terror, wondering whether that could be the cat returning to finish him off. Or worse, it could be one of its demonic creations. The water spurts out from the pipe at random, as if clogged by something massive. A piece of metal wiring flies from the pipe while the sounds of crunching wires increase in loudness. Suddenly, a body flies out of the pipe as the party did previously. It looks horribly familiar, inspiring Kiwi to draw his sword.

"Isn't once enough," he shouts angrily.

Jenovra's eyes widen at the sight of the nightmarish creature, while both Mitsarugi and the Valkyrie have downed their guard to observe their new guest. A silvery body rises up from the floor with squeaking noises similar to hinges that need oil. It has a similarity to the cat that Kiwi fought recently that frightens him. After that last incident, he didn't need to meet an improved version. This one seems covered in aluminum sheets all over, with red stripes where the neon-yellow ones would normally be. Mitsarugi checks its stats, surprisingly being able to access them. Kiwi doesn't seem to like seeing the cat again and has a flashback of being struck by its katana. Looking around, he notices it doesn’t carry a katana, but a broadsword. Checking its stats, he suspects something is wrong here.

"It has 30 HP. What a wimp," says a surprised Jenovra.

The Valkyrie enemy recognizes this monster as an opponent and charges up to it, spinning its lance. The next few seconds shock the group to silence. The silver cat grabs the lance between its paws as it flies down. The Valkyrie seems to try pulling it back but the lance doesn't move. In a swift series of moves, the cat takes the lance away and stabs the Valkyrie repeatedly to the floor. Once the Valkyrie has fallen, the cat pulls back its sleeve and reveals a mangled bronze bracelet. The cat utters a bunch of electrical sounds that make it seems like its audio output systems are busted. The bracelet shines and Kiwi expects the Valkyrie to be toasted. Instead, sparks fly out from the bracelet and nothing happens. Taking a closer look at its stats, Mitsarugi determines it to be none other than Enilef. The perplexed monster ignores its bracelet and finishes the Valkyrie with a stab of from the stolen lance.

"Thanks for the favor. I'll repay it with Juk Rom," says Jenovra.

Another tornado emerges in the room, tearing at Enilef's armor. Once the attack ceases, the party is amazed by the fact that Enilef only took 1 damage. Kiwi signals Jenovra to move back and steps backs to Mitsarugi. The creature tries to articulate a message but only succeeds in making more electrical sounds.

"We're going to move to the next room. I don't think it can follow us," whispers Kiwi.

"I have to fight it," says Mitsarugi.

Kiwi decides that Mitsarugi is officially out of her mind and grabs her, forcefully throwing her into the stream of rushing water through which they can leave. Jenovra follows, leaving Kiwi behind a moment. He takes a good look at the tin cat before jumping into the stream and escaping. At the other end of the pipe, Mitsarugi argues she was supposed to defeat it.

"What are you talking about? Don't you know it could kill us," says Kiwi.

A large rumbling brings an end to the argument. The group is within yet another stone room with piping, keeping a small distance from the portal they must defeat in the middle.

"Can't follow us. Riiiight," says Jenovra.

Before any more words can be communicated, a their metallic foe flies out of the pipe and right into Kiwi. The party backs up towards the nearby portal, trigerring it in the process. As Kiwi moves, the cat takes a swing at him with its broadsword. To his relief, it knocks off 1/4 of his HP without causing him physical harm. Thinking that over again, he wonders just why it didn't cause physical harm.

Nikkio2003 - June 17, 2003 03:40 PM (GMT)
"Okay, I'll go with a tin cat storming in on us. I'll go with it being able to follow us from room to room. I'll even tolerate his annoying creaking and static. But Only taking one point of MY attack? He's dead." Running forwards, Jenovra prepared to cast a spell close-up to it. Maybe it would make better damage that way. "Vak-"
She didn't even get the spell half-way out. The silver kitty just turned about to face it, and flung a paw in her way to stop her attack. The Wavemaster went smack into the wall-though that wasn't too far away, seeing as they were all staying away from the portal as they fought so it wouldn't activate. A few normal monsters were enough-but this too? It would be the end of them if that happened.

Sighing, Jenovra slowly slid down the wall, sitting on the floor wearily. There was no way she could help fight against it if it kept counterattacking every time she tried something. That one block had taken a decent-sized chunk out of her Health Points. Besides, her SP wasn't endless. So, she decided it would just be better to sit on the sidelines this time. Maybe she could revive? Well, at the moment, there was nothing for her to do than just sit and recover herself as she watched the other two fight.

"Goldenegg!*boing*"
"Oh shut up.." Taking the annoying egg and stuffing it in her pocket for later, she continued being a spectator after healing herself.

She hated feeling helpless.

Mitsarugi - June 18, 2003 03:27 AM (GMT)
The tin cat plodded up to Jenovra, showing no signs of mercy.Kiwi stood next to Mitsarugi, quaking with fear.Mitsarugi ran tword the cat, bashing it with all her might.

"Flame Dance!" Mitsarugi shouted at the top of her lungs.

Enilef fliched, but Mitsarugi's excitement suddenly turned to fear, as the feline rammed her into the wall. She sunk to the floor, laying right beside Jenovra.

"It's all over..." Mitsarugi and Jenovra both thought.

Just then, they heard the sound of metal clashing. It was a war between Kiwi and Enilef. The two girls layed petrified on the floor, watching helplessly from the sidelines. If Kiwi messed this up, it would be the end for all of them.
"Death Bringer!" Kiwi screamed, as he leaped from the corner.

Enilef barely had time to turn around.Kiwi's blade cut the monsters are off, leaving it's body gushing with blood. It cried in pain, falling to the hard cobblestone floor. The girls felt a surge of energy flow through them.It was their turn to fight.

"Vak Kruz!" Mitsarugi said, sticking one of her blades into the gaping wound.

"Juk Rom!'' Jenovra yelled, running right behind Mitsarugi.

Enilef grew pale. They had won.The battle was over. The comrads walked onward.Praying for the cat to ascend to the heavens, they continued on, imagining the treasures they were about to find.Suddenly, the party came to a vacant room, behold a statue with runes on it.This, was the rare Gott Statue.

"Finally..." the party muttered, as they walked to the statue.

Mitsarugi and her friends held hands, and opened the treasure box.Only to find......
