Although she dislikes this darker side of herself, Devi sometimes cannot control her violent or depressive fits much to her dismay. She's constantly in seclusion to try to lessen the effects of her extremes, and at times it works. However, other times she's not so fortunate and happens to knock out a light or two at random times.
Bored with all her video games at home, Devi decided to check out the newest gaming craze. She slowly tossed on a pair of black, nylon wind pants; a black t-shirt with a grey and white video game controller in the center with the words "Control Freak" directly beneath it; and her 1/4 calf black boots. Devi located her brush; quickly ran through her two toned, ear length, blue hair; and tossed her long bangs to the side. Oddly enough, Devi refused to cut her bangs shorter than what would reach just below her jaw regardless of how short she cut her hair. Deciding that she wanted to wear both sets of her chrome banded spiked bracelets rather than one band and her watch, Devi located her keys and set out for the local software store.
After aimlessly wondering around looking at all the new and old video game releases, Devi finally found the online rpg she was searching for. After scanning the synopsis on the box a few times, she decided to take it home and try it out. After all, if she didn't like it, there's always someone looking for it on eBay. Moments after she got home, Devi fired up the computer, loaded the game and began creating her character. As creative as she was, Devi was having a mental block and couldn't think of a decent character much less a creative name. "Hmm. If I were a video game character, what would I want to be called?" she thought aloud.
"Maybe something of alien nature?" Devi promptly typed in the name "Takina" in the username box, stared at it for a few moments, then erased it just as quickly. "No, that won't do. Gah....what would the creators think of?" Stuck in her creative block, Devi started running through a whole list of existing characters from various games. "Let's see, we have 'Junior,' 'Samus Aran...'" Devi couldn't help but giggle at the thought of naming herself after a world famous bounty hunter, and continued her verbal list.
"Ummm....there's 'Bear,' 'Mia,' 'Orca.....' THAT'S IT!" she screamed at last. "If they've got a character named after a whale, I'll name mine after a fish. Hmm....my favorite fish to be exact. 'Blue Tang'....eh...that's no good.....ooo how about just 'Tang?' " Devi sat and contemplated the screen name for a few moments then decided it was good and entered her password. "The one I use most often should be good enough," she said as she typed it in the box. With the hard part finished, she entered the rest of her information and waited for the game to load.
