Kechie - June 3, 2003 04:48 PM (GMT)
The group hears a yell, telling them to to wait for the person saying it, and Kechie comes in and sees the dark veil.

"I thought you guys went into the dungen already!" She said as she ran to them.

Kechie - June 3, 2003 10:55 PM (GMT)
Sits down on the ground, waiting for the others.

"I just hope they come soon..." Kechie said as she looked around in the darkness.

"If we have to go from one portal to the next, and the monsters are stronger...it's a risk...but if it means something important..." She sighs, and looks around again, "Then I'm gonna stay, and see that everyone gets through this place..." She puts down her sword, and lays on the ground, waiting.

Kechie - June 6, 2003 12:54 AM (GMT)
Kechie has not taken notice that she is alone, too caught up in looking at the sky. But when she hears footsteps and voices, she springs to her feet and searches around for her sword that she decided to put down.

"Oh just perfact! We're about to go in the dungeon, I'm behind, and I can't find my sword! Just my luck!"

Continues searching for her sword, when she hears a strange humming noise, and something is behind her.

She spins around to find a pair of bright red eyes looking strait into her's, and without a sword for her weapon, she grabs a sharp rock.

"Who our what are you?!" She shouts. But she can only make out the eyes, and can't see how big it is or how strong it looks. But she doesn't notice the danger of this situation, and threatens it with the rock. The creature just comes closer, and she slashes the rock through the air. The creature backs away, and as though a fog swept over it, the creature slowly dissapears.

Kechie takes a few short breaths, backs away, and trips over her sword.

"Hey! I found it!" She grabs her sword and trys to follow the voices of the others. Searching and listening, she just can't find them. Then, after 3 mintues or so, she looks around, and thinks she sees the same bright red eyes that were stareing at her a few minutes ago. But she saw it only for a second, and she can't prove if it was the same thing. Being a little more cautious now, she trys to search for the others again.

Kechie - June 4, 2003 12:12 AM (GMT)
Holds the torch up, trying to get a better look at where they are.

I wonder if we're not alone in this area she thinks to herself.

Someone might be waching us...what if- Stops thinking, and looks around. She sees a gold glint in the darkness, and makes out the out-line of a portal. But she doesn't dare go to it alone. She sighs and looks up and what appears to be the sky, but she can't find any stars, and she looks around the darkness agian, wondering what she was thinking about before.

Kechie - June 7, 2003 02:20 AM (GMT)
Kechie walks around the dark field, hopelessly wondering where the heck she is.

"I just had to get distracted by that stupid creature...now where am I?" She looks around, only finding that she can't even see her own feet. She sighs and continues along for a source of light.

When she's starting to think she'll never find them, she trips over something, and lands face-first in the ground. She sees she tripped over a large lined gap in the ground, and realizes it's a path.

"Someone must had made this...but where does it lead? A trap?" After thinking over and over again, Kechie finally desides to follow it. In a minute or so, she sees some gold lights, and two blurry figures in the distance. Kechie reconizes them as Suiichi and Fathom, but comes just a little closer to make sure it's not an illusion. And when she finally desides it's not an illusion, she rushes over to meet them.

Elius - June 1, 2003 05:27 AM (GMT)
Elius had just logged back into the world. He looks around scanning the crowd. "Guess they aren't here yet." He said as he turned to the sky.

The weather was great. Not to hot, but not to cold. Not to cloudy, but not to sunny. It wasn't to windy either, yet there was a nice breeze. Elius walked with this breeze up to the strange structure known as the chaos gate.

Elius sat down before the gate. "Guess I'll just have to wait for them." He laughed. The chaos gate just spun and spun before him. "Wonder what will happen if it ever stops spinning?" Elius said to hisself. He peered deep into this strange ever spinning structure.

Nothing watched Elius back from within it. "Guess he isn't looking for me this time. He has no reason to. He gave me the keywords in advance this time." Elius laughed to hisself, happy that there was no creature watching from within.

He looked to the sky once more. "The perfect start for an adventure. All I can do now is wait like the one I seek is waiting for me. I find that rather ironic." Elius said.

"Its to bad I can't go within the chaos gate." Elius thought to hisself. "If I could than I could look everywhere at once. The gate is connected to all the fields as well as servers. Well at least I believe I figured out why the eye was watching me from within the gate that time. Perhaps I should discuss this with Slayer, Fathom, Hplayer, and Viral Dragon when they arrive. Anyway, time to get back to waiting for them."

Elius turned back to the chaos gate examining its ever spinning design.

Elius - June 1, 2003 07:13 PM (GMT)
"We are going to Delta Chosen Hopeless nothingness whenever everyone gets here." Elius said. "Fathom, what do you think of the chaos gates? I think they may have another purpose and Slayer thinks that there may be another way in which they used to be used."

(Stares back into the chaos gate. Nothing stares back at Elius.)

"Has anyone rather than me ever seen anything unnatural within a chaos gate?" Elius then asked.

Elius - June 1, 2003 07:52 PM (GMT)
"Maybe the hacker is not a hacker. Interesting point to ponder, Fathom. Maybe the hacker isn't a hacker but an entity in "The World" like these strange monsters that started to show up. Well anyway, better get back to waiting for the others." Elius said.

(Elius looked at the chaos gate once again then looked away satisfied that nothing was within it watching him for now.)

Elius - June 2, 2003 12:07 AM (GMT)
(Elius looked up at the sky. The clouds slowly passing over. A soft breeze still blowing through Mac Anu.)

"Fathom, you may be right. The hacker or gate keeper or whatever it is, may be protecting some sort of gate. Perhaps thee chaos gate may be two gates in one. I doth see it as the gate we use and the gate I saw that giant eye looking out of once. My theory is that there is something there beyond the gate we currently can't use that something doesn't want us to find. That could be the purpose of this hacker or creature or whatever else it may be." Elius said aloud as a cloud then covered the sun.

(Elius looked back into the chaos gate watching for the eye he knew would not come.)

Elius - June 3, 2003 02:07 AM (GMT)
"Hopefully all we'll have to deal with is data monsters at worst." says Elius.
"A group of five should do the job, but I must warn you all that this field we are going to has recently been blocked off to other players. I don't know what to expect so we must keep our guard up."

(Looking into the still spinning chaos gate, Elius recites the keywords he was beforehand giving.)

"Hopeless Chosen Nothingness" Elius pronounces.

(With a blur of golden rings, the group gates off to their adventure as the clouds turn dark over Mac Anu.)

(Elius is the first to arrive on the field. A golden ring vanishes from were he appeared. The sky is filled with clouds and lightning. The grassland field is covered in darkness for the sun can't be seen.)

"The dungeon must be far away. I can't even see it from here. Everyone arrive safely?" Elius asked looking back.

Elius - June 3, 2003 02:31 AM (GMT)
"These fields may be bueatiful from here, but Fathoms right." Elius said peering into the darkness. "We must be carefull not to be separated once we enter that veil of dark. In this dark it would take to long to reunite. Besides, who knows what's lurking in the dark."

(Elius sees a glint of gold.)

"The magic portal to the left." Elius announces as the group takes off in its dirrection. "Onward, through the dark, but beware. The creatures here were strong to begin with. With no one coming here for a while, they may be much stronger now."

(As the group moves on, they are covered by a veil of dark. Dark thats so dark, they can hardly see each other. With the dark veil being so dark, they waited nearby for the remaining party members.)

"If this field just wasn't covered by this strange veil." Elius said to hisself. "Then we could head to that portal as we wait."

(Looks back waiting for the others.)

Elius - June 3, 2003 09:54 PM (GMT)
(Elius looks around scanning the dark once again. Glints of gold catch his eye.)

"With this dark it is impossible to just walk to the dungeon. I also wouldn't recommend fairy orbs. Whatever created this dark wants to hide this field and most likely the map would be useless if that is the case. The magic portals give off light though..." said Elius still watching the light from the magic portals flicker. "After Slayer and Hplayer arrive in this field we'll most likely have to travel from one portal to the next untill we are lead to the dungeon."

(Elius sits back upon the ground waiting for the rest of the group.)

Elius - June 4, 2003 02:30 AM (GMT)
(Elius recieves Slayer's flashmail)

"So they did arrive. If we just knew where they were." Elius announced. "We have two choices. Choice one, is to go looking for them. Choice two is to create some sort of signal. Either way, us or them will have too stay in one spot."

(Looks at the torch he is holding)

"We should stay here. If we gather enough twigs we can build a signal fire." Elius says as he begins to search for more twigs. "The dark may be comforting, but it is isolating. Anyone who thinks a signal fire could work, help me gather twigs while we still have time. There is something in this dark watching us. I have already sensed it a few times. The fire may also help keep it away."

Elius - June 4, 2003 02:47 AM (GMT)
(Elius recieves Slayer's response by flashmail)

"The fire plan won't work. Slayer's probably right. They want to hide the field so we don't know what they will resort to if we try to uncover it. I don't know why, but I can't get rid of this feeling something or someone is testing us." Elius informs the others.

(Elius looks out into the glints of gold that give away the location of the magic portals.)

"Now thats strange." Elius replied in disbelief.

(Elius fashmailed Slayer)"The Magic portals all seem to be in one long line. It curves a little but doesn't appear to break. See if you can find this line. They are mostly to the north of us. I only see two to the South. I don't know why I didn't see this before."

Elius - June 5, 2003 05:48 PM (GMT)
After taking shelter on the ground from the swirling darkness, Elius rises up and asures everyone that everything is OK. He looks around for the magic portals that are now in a new formation. Disoriented for a while, Elius stumbles around untill he reorients hisself.

"This is not right! This shouldn't be able to happen. Anyone reconize anything that could tell us where we are?" Elius asked the group.

Before they could answer, A wall of shadow rose, separating Elius from the group.

(Elius senses something behind him and spins around.)

A strange grey humanoid creature floated in the air.

"What is this? A ghost?" Elius gasped as it vanished.

(Elius turns back tward his group to find out that they are not there.)

He calls out as he wonders the field yet recieves no answer.

"Well this proves this dark fog has mysterious abilities." Elius said to hisself.

(Elius than flashmailed fathom than Slayer. He filled them in on what happened to him.)

Elius continued walking trying to find anything to try to place hisself so he could be found, yet all that seemed to be around was darkness.

(Elius kicked a rock upon the ground and heard it bounce off a hard nearby structure. He reached forward and felt a icy surface.)

A ray of light in all this seemed availiable to Elius now. This could be the same structure that Slayer and Hplayer found.

(Elius flashmails Kechie, telling her to tell this to the others.)

As Elius slowly moves around the structure a sound suddenly catches his attention.

(Elius moves more into the open.)

"Identify yourself." Elius says. "Slayer, Hplayer, is that you."

Elius - June 5, 2003 08:58 PM (GMT)
(Elius speaks to Slayer and Hplayer.)

"I am not sure if the others were brought here." Elius says. "I would have to doth guess not. This is the work of something or perhaps somethings. Whatever it was was careful to separate me from the group before leading me here."

Elius looks out into the darkness. The magic portals have reorganized into trails again. This time instead of one there were two. One began next to Hplayer, Slayer, and Elius. The other was off in the distance.

"It's like its a game." Elius says. "Like they want to make sure we fight the portals on the way to the dungeon. My guess would be the one off in the distance would start where the others are."

(Elius looks back at Hplayer and Slayar.)

"As much as I dislike this, I don't think we have much choice except to try to meet up with the others once we're at the dungeon. The trails seem to end at the same spot. My guess is that the dungeon is at the end."

(Elius stares out into the darkness. He watches it slowly sway back and forth.)

"If we try to meet up with the others before than we would most likely end up back here. That may be why I was sent here. I said to find the trail. At first there was only one. Whoever or whatever caused this was expecting a smaller group. It did the simplest thing, to divide us into two equal groups. Well anyway, unless anyone sees anything wrong with this new plan, I'll flashmail it to the others." Elius said as he prepared to flashmail it.

Elius - June 5, 2003 09:19 PM (GMT)
(Elius flashmailed fathom.)We will make our way to the dungeon. The thing is the groups just can't reunite untill then. Every time we try to bring the groups together we get even further separted. There should be a trail of portals around your area. Follow it. If I am right it will lead to the dungeon.

(Elius looks to the portals before him.)

"Four, maybe five of them." Elius announces as he slowly begins to walk to the first portal with Hplayer and Slayer at his sides. "Slayer, Hplayer, I hope your ready. The battles will soon begin."

Elius - June 6, 2003 05:53 AM (GMT)
Elius, Slayer, and Hplayer readied their weapons as the magic portal burst open in a display of intense light that soon dimmed. A crablike creature emerged with a birdlike creature close behind.

"A Snip Snap and a Chiken Hand." Elius said. "Are you all ready to see how the fighting is in this dark mess."

The Snip Snap charged at them. The attack was ineffective, but Hplayers shirt was snagged in its claw. Elius attracted the beasts attention by slashing its claw. Slayer took this chance to attack.

"Death Bringer" Slayer said as his blade struck the beast in a critical hit. It stumbled back releasing Hplayer.

"You alright." Slayer asked Hplayer.

Before Hplayer could answer the Chiken Hand attacked from above. Hplayer ran to the side distracting the flying beast while the Snip Snap was dealt with.

The Snip Snap slashed with its claw at Elius who blocked it with his own blade.

"Revolver" Elius said as his strike knocked the beast back.

"This isn't so bad." Elius said.
"Then lets finish this. Death Bringer" Slayer said.
"Revolver" Elius joined in.

They watched as the beast fell back vanishing from its defeat.

They turned to Hplayer who has taken heavy damage.

"Repth" Elius and Slayer both said healing Hplayer completely.

"Revolver" Elius then said charging the winged beast, but the beast was unaffected for it escaped into the dark sky.

"How can we fight something we can't see." Slayer thought to hisself. The Chicken Hand then swooped down from above forcing him to the ground. Elius charged the flying beast only to miss and be sent to the ground as well.

"I have an idea." Hplayer announced.

"What is it?" Elius asked. As he did the Chicken Hand swooped down at Elius. Elius prepared for the impact, but was saved from it by Hplayer.

Hplayer had jumped on the birds back weighing it down. The creature struggled to rise up, yet the extra weight prevented that.

"Now's our chance!" Slayer told Elius.
"It's wood element. If we both use Gan Zot, that should finish it." Elius replied.

"Gan Zot" Slayer and Elius said as the ground rose striking the beast. The creature fell back and vanished into the air as Hplayer stumbled to his feet.

"Well that shows to beware flying creatures in this dark." Elius laughed.

"Repth" The group said as they healed each other.

With that done the group walked through the dark once more. The nexted magic portal growing larger and larger as they neared it.

Elius - June 7, 2003 01:10 AM (GMT)
Elius, Slayer, and Hplayer looked ahead at their next destination, a golden magic portal in the distance. After making sure they were well healed, they continued on moving ever closer to the spinning light. Not far from it, they stopped as the portal spun faster and faster. In a quick burst, it exploded releaving a Headhunter and two Goblins.

"Headhunter's a level 5. I'll distract it as you two take care of the goblins." Elius said as the Headhunter charged to the group. Elius jumped up landed of the creatures back infurriating it. The Headhunter threw Elius to the side and brought its sword down upon him. The clang of metal was heard as sword held back sword.

"I'll take this Goblin!" Slayer announced as he charged at the left Goblin. The creature jumped back avoiding Slayers attack.

"Death Bringer!" Slayer yelled as he swung his blade once more. It was a dirrect hit. The Goblin was cleanly divided in two and disintegrated into nothing.

Hplayer ran at the remaining Goblin which proved to be more difficult to defeat. The beast ran from Hplayer whenever he neared it. A new strategy was needed.

"Juk Rom" Hplayer yelled. This Goblin fell to the ground from the tangling vines. Now was Hplayers chance. Hplayer ran to the beast as it stumbled to its feet and yelled "Tiger Claws." The tornado of blows sent the Goblin to the ground once more this time to vaporize from the game.

Hplayer ran to the Headhunter to help in its defeat. Slayer was already there with Elius. They both had taken heavy damage. Hplayer SP was too low to cast Repth some he attacked the Headhunter from behind. His two blades dug into its back as the beasts attention moved from Elius and Slayer to its tormentor.

"Repth" Elius and Slayer both said as they healed each other. They were now fully healed, but everyones SP proved to be to low to be useful. Regardless of this, they join the battle once again.

The Headhunter brought its blade down upon Hplayer, but Elius proved to be fast enough to catch its blade. As the clang of this was heard Hplayer and Slayer took this chance to attack.

Hplayer, seeing his SP was up again, yelled "Tiger Claws" as his blades dug into this creature again and again. Slayer charged the beast, driving his sword into its back leaving a gaping wound behind.

Slayer and Elius noticed their SP was up again as well.

"Slayer, lets finish this Headhunter!" Elius yelled across the beast to Slayer.
"Ok then, lets finish this!" was Slayer's answer.

"Revolver" Elius yelled as Slayer yelled "Death Bringer"

From opposite sides, they drove thier blades through the beast. They then stepped back as the Headhunter stumbled back to its feet.

"This make take a while longer then we thought." Slayer said to hisself.

The Headhunter began to slowly move to them once again, but soon lost its balance as Hplayer jumped on its back. The beast fell upon its own sword finishing it off. Hplayer hisself jumped off of it just in time to avoid the end of the Headhunters sword as it emerged from its back. The group watch as the beast vanished.

"Thats different." Elius said to the others. "I didn't know these creatures could be killed by their own weapon."

Elius looked forward to see one remaining portal upon their path.

VIRAL DRAGON - June 5, 2003 07:09 PM (GMT)
-flashmail message- VD we would like you to join our quest -end message-

VD arrives on the field looking about at utter darkness. "What in the world is going on here..... Enkantras, did you do this!!" he calls out into the darkness. He had known that Enkantras was a shifty unpredictable data monster even while he had known it some time ago, but was this really some of his handiwork? No.. it seems too complex... to dark... wait... Enkantras always liked a moderate amount of light... so if he was here, there would be some light in his room.... But he would never alter the Outer structure to complete darkness... So either he is here and someone else is here also... or a new and strange creature is messing up the whole area trying to get us all lost.

VD sniffed the air... (well at least I've kept my good sense of smell after the transformation) and caught a scent of someone off to the left. He couldn't see where he was going, so he cautiously followed the scent. It traveled around in circles and back and fourth... which made VD suspect that someone had not known where they were going, and a pile of ashes on the ground gave evidence of a small fire that had failed..

Aww... If I could only remember how to use my dragonfire light, I could easily find the people in the dark... (sniff..sniff)... there seems to be a building nearby here... and...

(THUNK) VD had just crashed into a building... and boy did his head hurt... "Owww... too bad I can't tell if a building is in front of me... boy is that imbarassing... heh..." VD gets up and tries to continue, but his vision blurs and wobbles strangely....

VIRAL DRAGON - June 7, 2003 08:17 AM (GMT)
"Uh.. No.. this isn't natural.. but then again.. neither am I." Said VD

VD's head was going blurry again, and his vision was clouding up, so he stopped to focus himself, when suddenly...his eyes cleared up, even better than before... he could see the trails of the others glowing red, blue and other colors, each color had it's own creator, VD's trail happened to be purple, and as he looked around, he saw the landscape, covered in a splotchy mess of stones and other broken things, houses, castles, and ships, all broken laying in curious patterns around the field.. one castle had decayed so far, that it's rubble had created a natural maze, and VD could see a faint trail of footprints wandering through the maze for a short way.

"Hmph..... someone has messed with my programing again... but this time they've given me back my Dragon's Hunter Vision... I can see something in the distance, but its all foggy after 60 meters or so." mumbled VD to himself.
"What do you mean, you can see?!? It's pitch black out here! I can't see anything!" exclaimed Darksaber.
"Hey... It's not realy like seeing, more like sensing... I can't make out your face, but I can tell your there OK? My eyes are still being set-up for this by whoever is messing with my data, so I don't know how clear my vision will become." replied VD.

"Umm.. whatever.. lets just follow these portals and try to whack some of these monsters in the process, so that we might be able to find our friends."

VIRAL DRAGON - June 7, 2003 08:40 PM (GMT)
(ooc. this is two posts in a row because the topic was about to be knocked off the first page of topics.)

VD took the time to carefully view the area now that his hunting vision had returned, and he saw a huge blue-green trail winding through the level, and this strange trail deteriorated faster than all the other trails... It looked like a giant splotchy paint-job of someone who liked to use shifting paints, for the trail never stayed still, but it always kept along the same general route, and Darksaber was about to step in it.

"Stop! Don't step forward... there's something strange about the ground." said VD

Darksaber had his foot in the air and was about to step down, but he caught himself in time, and turned about by bouncing on one foot and set his foot down in another direction.

"Well, what's wrong now? We haven't even reached the first portal yet..." said Darksaber with some concern.
"The ground here has evidence of something strange passing this way.... If you had stepped on it's trail who knows what would have happened... And I, personally don't want to find out... But it seems that the trail will be gone in a few seconds, because it's breaking up fast." said VD.

"Well, is it safe to go now?" asked Darksaber as he turned back toward the glowing portals.
"Yes... now it's safe... I want to see how well we can battle in the dark... But I'm not sure how well I'll do, since whenever I look at you while you're moving, I see afterimages of you all over the place.. so in a battle, I may be able to give you clues to the enemies general direction, but not their exact location or attack stance... But I don't know if I can even do that yet.." VD said while deep in thought
"Well lets get going then." said Darksaber.

VIRAL DRAGON - June 8, 2003 05:22 AM (GMT)
(ooc: THIS POST IS SUBJET TO CHANGE as the events contained are not OKed by the admins at the time being and it might be rejected.)

The portal opened and two Swordmanoids and a Chicken Hand appeared out of the portal. The blackness of the land surrounded the monsters and sent them into a state of confusion, for they could not see through this darkness. The two Swordmanoids stumbled clumsily around and crashing into each other several times, and finally, after several collisions, they concluded they were under attack and started to battle each other. The Chicken Hand was scared away by the sudden noises in the darkness and flew away untill it's eyes adjusted.

"Where are they, I can hear them, but I can't seem to pinpoint their location... hey VD, you can se right? Well point me in the correct direction please." asked Darksaber.

VD looked held Darksaber's shoulders and pointed him toward the Swordmanoids, but when he finally looked at them himself, he noticed something strange, "Hey.. I can see the enemies stregth, HP and SP... so that would mean, that whatever is changing me, wouldn't be trying to turn me back into a dragon, because no dragon can see those stats..."
"Yeah.. and while you're wondering about the stats, I'm wondering about how I can see the two Swordmanoids clunking their heads into each other...heheh..." said Darksaber.
"Eh.. Do you think It has something to do with me grabbing you? Or is it just a trick of the game?" VD said as he let go.
"Umm.. I think it had everything to do with me coming into contact with you... cause I can't see anymore.." Darksaber said.

"Well holding on to you the whole time would make my arms tired, so mabye if you were to hold a part of my original re-programming, you'd be able to see like I can... so.. just as a test... lets try to trade weapons."
"What?! Trade weapons? Come on... we aren't even in the same class, so that would be impossible to do.."
"True, that may be "impossible" but so is the ablilty of someone to change the world into a pitch-black realm.."

A reluctant Darksaber and VD tried to trade their weapons to each other...... and it worked...

"Hey! I can see now!" said Darksaber as he held VD's axe and thought about it. How could VD ever hit something with this stubby little weapon? I mean It's soo short....ahh...
"Umm.. does your hand feel funny?" asked VD.
"Sure it feels funny kinda like it fell asleap... but wait.. that does feel different... umm..... look at our weapons!!" exclaimed Darksaber.

The weapons both slowly changed and molded into two large and heavy double-edged, swords.
VD's had dragon scales all over it, while Darksaber's had images of flames, shaddows, and wind moving across it in a slow, but unpredictable motion.

Then Darksaber and VD turned their atention toward the two bumbling swordmanoids and decided to test out their new blades.

Their swords were heavy, but powerful as they swung their weapons strongly at the two Swordmanoids they finished them easily with two simultaneous slashes tha cut clean through their armor and bodies, of which they descintegrated in to the air.

"Where'd the Chicken Hand go?" asked VD
"There was a Chicken Hand here? It probably got scared away and is huddling someplace close to a portal in order to get some light."
"No.. as you now can see, the trails made by both monsters and players are readily visible to you." VD said pointing his sword at a trail " and this one happens to be the trail of the Chicken Hand.. and as you can see, it hasn't run far.. yet we can't see it."
"Umm... If it hasn't run far.. then it must have flown up." said Darksaber in time to see a pair of claws tearing down through the sky toward his head. "AHHh!" he exclaimed as he rolled away from the Chicken Hand's path.

VD tried to slash the CHand with his sword, but his swing speed was way too slow, for the CHand's eyes had adjusted to the darkness and it saw it before the blade flew close enough.

It seemed that they would have to outsmart their flying foe in order to kill it. The CHand seemed determined to make this as hard as possible

System Slayer - June 1, 2003 05:49 AM (GMT)
(Slayer sits next to Elius, who kept talking to himself because he thought he was alone, and smiles.)

"I've been waiting here since I returned from my that trip with Kodel. Just happened to be out of your sight when you came in, I guess," says Slayer.

System Slayer - June 1, 2003 05:59 AM (GMT)
"If I go to the other side and look through, you'd see my eyes," Slayer says with a chuckle.

(He takes out 'The Death' card he received from Kodel and examines its image.)

"But seriously, though. Maybe there used to be the ability to walk through the portal's gel, instead of teleporting to the fields. Something like a stargate. This could have been phased out of the game, but something could remain with the ability to do just that," explains Slayer.

System Slayer - June 3, 2003 01:33 AM (GMT)
(The groups stands up and groups together infront of the portal.)

"I guess these are all of the people who were coming," says Slayer.

"This little army's enough for the job., even with that bad omen hanging over us. Why didn't you dump that card when you had the chance Slayer," says HPlayer.

"Don't worry, it's just an item. It doesn't mean anything. Just data, zeroes, ones, numbers, electrivity, and code. It can't hurt us. I'd be more worried about that cat of yours. But we have Fathom and Elius with us this time," Slayer says with a grin.

"I hope so. Havin your visor shut off isn't a happy experience," says HPlayer.

"Well Elius. We just need those magic words you were given and we'll be there in a jiffy. Our group has nothing to fear from data monsters," says Slayer with a bit of confidence.

System Slayer - June 4, 2003 01:40 AM (GMT)
(Slayer gates into the map. While the rings slip down his body, he can only see a few feet around him. Once the rings disappear, he's all alone in the dark. As he looks up, the sun that would usually be there has been darkened into a barely-visible circle in the sky.)

"Something is definetly messed up here," he says.

(He stumbles around, searching for any sign of the others. Suddenly, the ruffling sound of footsteps in the grass grabs his attention. He turns and feels something walk into him and jump back.)

"Who is it!? Identify yourself or I'll skin you raw," he shouts.

(The creature quivers at his threat and draws what Slayer senses as two small blades. He draws his sword.)

"This is System Slayer. If you are a player, identify yourself. We don't want an accident," he says.

System Slayer - June 4, 2003 02:37 AM (GMT)
(Slayer receives a flashmail back, telling him to search for a fire. He replies, rather worried about the fires.)

"It may be dangerous to be lighting fires. That means you be spotted very easily in this darkness by whatever is out there. I have a better but more difficult choice. You can tell us how many portals are near you and if they form some shape. We can then narrow down your location with that. If you light a fire, you might make yourself even more visible. What do you think? I'll await your reply," write Slayer.

(With the flashmail sent, he assures HPlayer that everything is fine and that the group is in the map.)
