Title: Hackers on the Loose?
Description: I think I met one...

Mirelle Tsurugu - December 8, 2003 12:15 AM (GMT)
In my last quest (Delta Soft Solitary Melody), some weird kid showed up in the room with the Gott Statue. He was a Blademaster barely over 10 dressed completely in red armor. And he had a really funky-looking sword with him. He threatened me, and then left. I know I really shouldn't be posting this, but... he did something weird to my friend's character also. I'm not going into details, but let's just say that it wasn't pretty. Has anyone had dealings with people like this before? And if so, any words of advice? Please, this is very important to me!

Arkades - December 8, 2003 01:08 AM (GMT)
I haven't heard of anything like this, but I'm new to the game.

Have you contacted CC Corp?

Mirelle Tsurugu - December 9, 2003 01:18 AM (GMT)
I'm too afraid to contact CC Corp. The kid knew who I am IRL, so I'm kinda fearful of what he could do. And hey, I'm still a newbie myself! In all honesty, I never expected something like this when I first joined "The World". It makes me wonder, though...

Hacorie - December 9, 2003 01:51 AM (GMT)
Wow, I have had dealings with hackers before, and it has not been that long ago since I encountered one myself. These people are manipulating everything around them...so if this hacker comes back, be careful...mabe fearful of what it could do to you.

Mirelle Tsurugu - December 9, 2003 01:56 AM (GMT)
You don't have to tell me twice, Hacomy. The kid basically threatened to get even with me someday soon. I'm fearig for myself already! Just let me ask one thing: what exactly was the hacker you dealt with like?

Hacorie - December 9, 2003 02:06 AM (GMT)
hmm...which 1 to start with...

well there was Morgaine-she was a hacker that followed me in my solo adventures. She was a Long Arm and had great force in her blows. Luckily I was level nine when we finally fought, but I still was getting beat into a pulp.

Then, there was this green hacker(no name that I know of)-That could distort and freeze time for 5 seconds at a time....That was freaky, but luckily i had a partner along with me to help.

Both these hackers made monsters that were not regular. They were hacked beings that weree 2 or three monsters converged into one.

My clan and myself are about to go to a field where people are being kept captive under hackers...more than one...so we must hurry and free the people before they are destroyed.

NOTE: my clan has also seen little creatures that look like cats and he main one can rewrite the data of anything and turn them into cats themselves. These creatures are extrememly powerful...I would know...Also the first two hackers listed were turned into cas right in front of my face. Luckly I escaped both times.

Merelle this is another warning, if you decide to chase after this hacker or he invites you to a field and you accept...make sure you are a high level.

Mirelle Tsurugu - December 9, 2003 02:15 AM (GMT)
O...okay, I guess. And I'll bring somebody high-level along if I get an invite. I wish your clan luck in your rescue attempts and hope you save all of those players. Let me know how it turns out, okay? In return, I'll give you a heads-up when the hacker shows his face again.

Hacorie - December 9, 2003 02:21 AM (GMT)
ok, hey maybe if Im not in a quest next time..i could come along and help out. Itd be a nice change for me. A nice and relaxing mediocre level field...hopefully.

Mirelle Tsurugu - December 9, 2003 02:25 AM (GMT)
I would like that very much. Thank you, Hacomy. I appreciate your kindness towards me.

Hacorie - December 9, 2003 03:25 AM (GMT)
Hey your welcome, just flashmail me if you are ever in trouble....I know these posts on the BBs say Hacomy but my flashmail is Hacorie. Well hope to hear from you soon, or in a good way i hope i do not for if I do then that means a hacker.

Air Sylph - December 9, 2003 04:09 AM (GMT)
I think I met a hacker. He was a very young Twin Blader. He sent a hacked monster to attack us and even tried to DELETE me and Ichida! Luckily there was this strange voice, teleporting me and Ichida out of the dungeon, and into the field with Glas and Eriah. Also, my Flash Mail were all jumbled up. He may be only targeting me as only MY mail was jumbled, Eriah's wasn't.

This is so scary. Imagine a level 1 fighting with a monster that you CANT RUN away from...

I think there are many hackers on the loose...

Lord_Kanchi - December 9, 2003 06:30 AM (GMT)
Actually, I'm looking for a possible hacker. He/she goes by the name "Arcade," and I need to talk to him. If anyone's heard or seen him, I'm looking for him.

Gwen_Pendragon - December 9, 2003 04:11 PM (GMT)
We have had dealings like this before, however they actually killed off the character...there are also reports of people having hackers on their sites too...and they have been doing all they can to ride them...it's wrong...I can't see why people need to mess up other's computers...

Mirelle Tsurugu - December 10, 2003 12:31 AM (GMT)
Too true, my friend. Guess some people just love causing misery to others. But as it stands, I'm gonna do some digging at school. There's no other place that hacker could be IRL. I'll give a report on what I find or if he sends me a message.

Azuka - December 10, 2003 12:42 AM (GMT)
Well everyone knows for every good thing comes a bad. So if their are people who use comp. wisely. Than their are some who will miss use its shortcuts and programs. Their will always probably be hackers. No matter how many we take away they will keep coming back. Its just like that light vr dark poll thing in the general discussion board. Without one their cant be the other.

*smacks newb with mallet*

How come nobody ever learns the simplest things? I've almost given up on trying to reform things.

General Discussion = OUT OF CHARACTER and BBS = IN CHARACTER.

I can't make it much simpler then that.

My friend is currently dealing with a Hacker, he is in a coma state, nut I am solving
the problem, but I have no idea who the hacker is.

Prevann - December 11, 2003 01:21 AM (GMT)
Hansen, I warned you about telling, didn't I? And yet I find you spilling your guts on the BBS. Shameful, really; I thought you would know better than that. Aah well, no time for idle chit-chat. This is your last warning, my dear Long Arm friend. Kepp telling what happened, and you'll find yourself without your comrade very quickly....

Hacorie - December 11, 2003 01:33 AM (GMT)
hmm...the hacker i guess you are, posting here was a real mistake on your part. Now that I know your name, I shall be listening for it. Once I figure it out, you may taste the cold steel of my Magnifier, or maybe my Atlas....Along with the Long Arm weapon of Mirelle. So watch out.

Arkades - December 11, 2003 01:45 AM (GMT)
I don't know what kind of help I may be, but I'll offer what I have.
Hacomy, if you haven't gone to rescue those players yet, send me a flashmail and I'll try to help.

Hacorie - December 11, 2003 03:25 AM (GMT)
Sorry Arkades FX Clan Quest

Gojira - December 11, 2003 04:04 AM (GMT)
(OOC: ph34r blah blah blah....

Hacomy, no! Wrong! Bad! No soup for you!

If your in a quest, it'd be pretty damn tough, and by damn tough I mean impossible, for you to log out in the middle of it and then come to check the BBS.

Remember, the BBS and The World can not be accessed at the same time.
