Hey, does anybody here need help with monsters of the World?

As a rare itemu hunter, I've travelled through many dungeons, so I know lots about the monsters of the world. Together with a few more high level players, we could make a guide to the World! I'll start us off with a few of the lower level monsters!

Goblin: These things have two daggers usually and our short as well. They're usually easy to kill, but if you're low level you should keep out of range! That way you can hit them and they can't hit you! I think they're earth element, so the Juk Rom from the lvl 1 hand armor would help you a lot!

Disco Knife: I think that's the official name of these things. They're really just a floating sword, so its name is a bit odd. I don't think they have an element, but if they do, can somebody tell me? I just normally defeat it by cutting it up... takes a few good hits though.

Deadly Moth: Its a giant moth and I think its an earth element. It flies around and can poison you, so its important to be careful!

Sky Fish: Its a floating water element fish! You should be careful around these things, cause they try to poison you a lot. I think that low level players start with a Vak spell... can't remember if they do or not. If you have one, that'll work nicely.

Swordmanoid: Also water element, I think its level 2 about. I used to fight these a lot in the lower level dungeons. They use swords and have a few nasty techs, but its a pretty easy fight besides that.

Now that I gave everyone some handy info, ya should thank me... WITH RARE ITEMUS! Or at least info on where a rare itemu might be. That's always handy.

Just to add to that tiny bit of information: the Skyfish is level 4.

As for those rare items, perhaps we could go on a quest for one sometime soon? It could be interesting.

Wow, keep it up Asura. This could help me a WHOLE lot. Seeing as I don't know anything about this place... It'd be handy to know which monster is which, so I can gloat about my victories later. Can't very well say that I beat a Cadet Valkyrie, when in actuality, it was a Parasite Dragon!

Um... I think you made a mistake. The swordmanoids I fought were all thunder element, not water... and disco knives have no element, you're right.

I'm fairly sure that Swordmanoids are water... though I'm not entirely sure.

And I remember seeing Sky Fish on the lower levels of lvl 2 dungeons back when I was lower level. Though I might have been hallucinatin' or somethin'. I'll try to bring more information as I can, might take a while though!

P.S. Sounds like a good idea Wren! More rare itemus would be nice!

Someone told me about this low-level monster called.. uhmm, what was it? "Mad Grass" i think it was. I've never encountered one, but it sounds nasty.

And as for rare items, I'm up for finding those anytime!

Oh yeah... I've met up with mad grasses before... um.. I think they're Wood element so I guess an earth spell would work on them. They kinda look like big flowers walking around on thier roots, with teeth... pointy teeth. Their stems are kinda thorny too...

Swordmanoids are a thunder element monster? I haven't been in a low level dungeon, so I can't say I've checked really. They really seemed like a water element to me? ^.^ At least my Ani Crack technique on my Seal Sword will work well! Anyways, I hope ya don't harbor any grudges after our duel, 'kay Phoe?

Anyways, Mad Grass be nasty monsters. Their physical attacks aren't so horrid, but they have this tendency to cast a poisoning spell on you. Can't remember its name. They should be wood element, so Gan Zot would do good damage I suppose.

So if ya want information, I'll dig through my sources to see if I can find anything interesting, least with monsters... just will cost you a rare itemu... or not.

This is really strange... why hasn't Asura been updating this? I thought it was a really good idea personally... I mean I sure could've used some information on the lower level monsters when I first started!

Well... I... I really don't wanna see this fade into oblivion so... I guess I'll post a few of the monsters I'VE seen in The World. ...I hope this helps someone.

Snip snap: Water element
Gosh... how to describe them. Well... they kind of look like giant muliti-colored hermit crabs with really big pincers! They really hurt it they manage to snag you in those so be careful! Also their shells are kind of solid I noticed... Your best bet is either a fire spell... or even going for its soft underbelly and extrememly thin arms. Oh a jab in the face works well too, anything that isn't armored....

Chicken Hand: Wood element
Wow, I was surprised the first time I saw one of these! These guys have wings instead of arms and they only have one giant bird-like claw. But that's all they need!! Take my word for it, those claws are sharp. But thier favorite attack actually seems to be curling up and dive bombing you in mid-air! They're great at those kinds of arieal acrobatics. So they're kind of hard to hit too. Try to find a way to ground them or hit them with a good earth based spell.

Cadet Valkyrie: No element
Oh! You guys know what a long arm is, right? You must have seen them around Mac Anu once or twice.... Well anyway, these monsters look and attack like long arms! Only they have lotsa of armor over their bodies that covers their faces. They can be a little intimidating and they fight very skillfully, but if you can catch them off guard they shouldn't give you TOO much trouble...
