Ugh. How could he do something so stupid. He had left the love of his life for something so stupid as being accepted to college elsewhere. It's not like they couldn't have made it work. Tokki depended so much on him, as much as he did her. Since he clicked 'send' on that e-mail, his life hasn't been the same. As soon as his finger pressed the mouse button, the wind left his body. He couldn't believe what he had just done. He searched frantically for an 'unsend' button, but to no avail. The world is cruel, and we all have needs. He needed her, but there was nothing he could do. So what should he do? Should he try to get to her house and erase the message before she got it? Or should he just man it up, and go on with his life. These choices were not simple ones, and his mind was in a state of shock. A vegetable to his own decision, he figured. Tokki was his heart and his soul, and he would have to get her back in someway. He called her. He got the signal that she was online. The answering machine played back at him, and told him that the girl he needed so desperately to save his relationship with was online. He knew exactly what she was doing. He left his laptop in her dorm room-- she was in "The World".
Gaignun sat there, pondering the situation. He remembered what they used to do every night. She was so devoted to him. She would lay on his chest.. and watch him play the game every night. It was so peacefu-- THE GAME!
She still had his laptop, so he'd need to repurchase the game. He was sure she'd be playing it. If she's in her dorm room.. she wouldn't be able to withstand the lure it held. Besides...
Flashback
Gaignun started to put on the virtual reality visor. He pushed his hair aside so it wouldn't get pulled in the visor.
"Aww come on, stop being like that. Let me try it just once!" Tokki begged.
"Hmm..." Gaignun pondered. "Naaaaah."
Tokki pounded him on the chest for that one. Gaignun giggled at her.
"Maybe later, hun."
He wasn't sure, but he could have sworn she was a bit more upset than she should have been when he told her no... every time.
End flashback
He was sure she'd want to play. After getting a new copy of the game, he started the lengthy process of re-registering.
He typed in his name: KJ
Character's name: Gaignun
Perhaps he had been playing Xenosaga for too long. Regardless, the character stuck with him and so did his name, he supposed.
Class: Blademaster
There were a few classe to chose from, and he knew right away that Tokki would have chosen the long arm. Their training... She loved staves. He chose blademaster because that's what he used before.
Weapon: Bravesword
Clothing: A long sleeved white shirt with a red vest overtop it. Also a golden skirt with stripes that match the color of the vests. Dark stocking were worn up to her thighs.
Eyes: Gray
Hair: Silver
Height: 5'10
Personality: Great guy once you get to know him, but not exactly heart-warming. Intolerant of ignorance.
After hitting next, I prepared myself. It was time to enter this world once more, and I would have to save my relationship with her...
