Title: Angelus
Description: Memorial
Gwen_Pendragon - October 26, 2003 06:30 AM (GMT)
I wish you could tell me who you will be and what happened, but I also know for safety reasons it cannot be...*shakes head* I'll always be here awaiting you...
This is to memoralize and imortalizise our glorious leader, Angelus. He was there when the Army of Darkness was failing, and will continue to be with us, be he known or otherwise. Let it be known that he led the valiant Army to many victories over its adversaries and its friends. Angelus will be known to all who enter this Army and all who follow in his foot steps.
Should you return and make yourself known, may I be the first to swear my aligence to you once more...you will forever be the leader of this Army and all faithful to it...
I love you Angelus, and always will...'til the end...
*Lightly kisses the plaque that the previous held...*
Forever...

Crying....That's so beautiful.........cough........sob. I wish I had gotten to know him....before he went......away....sob. Alucard wipes his tears and then gets up and approaches the memorial. He then mutters something under his breath, "If you ever do return to us.......sob....my sword will.....cough.....be yours." Alucard then starts crying again as he leaves a black rose at the foot of the memorial before leaving.

*pops open a soda and raises it*"To Angelus! He was a great man, and I can't wait to see how, or when he'll come back." *takes a drink of the soda*
Ryok - October 26, 2003 04:08 PM (GMT)
-Ryok walks up to the plaque.. Ryok bends down to a single knee, and puts his head down. A single droplet of water flows from his eye's, and hits the floor... Ryok hears Gwen say some words, and almost copies them.. Ryok looks up, and says..
-"Should you return and make yourself known, may I be the Second to swear my aligence to you once more... you will forever be the leader of this Army, and all faithful to it..." Ryok stood up, and walked towards the door waving his hand...
-"'Til we meet again Angelus.. 'Til we meet again.."

Leaning against the wall, Tretharien watches the stately procession of mourners. Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony. From what he had gathered, Angelus was the one that truly made this clan great, but now, when they are beggining to flourish, he must leave. Be he unknown or heralded as a hero, there shall be signs of his influence forever. He has discharged his duty, as any chivalrous man should. Some may never here of him, but there are always a few survivors who will remember the warriors who couldn't come home.
Walking up to the front, he stoops and places a small scrap of paper on the altar. He then turns and leaves. The scrap reads:
"Slumber through twilight, sleep through the dawn,
March in rich company with heroes long gone.
Perilous fighters, undaunted by death,
Putting yourselves to the final test.
Leaving here, for a far off land,
seeking new battles, weapon in hand.
We shall remember, heroes they are.
Perhaps one day we shall greet them as brethern,
and fight side by side as comrades again."
Scrolled in a flourishing hand, there is a final saying:
"Carry out your duty. Don't let even death stop you."
With that Tretharien nods his head and walks out.

You will truly be missed in the AOD. If you are ever to return I shall pledge my alligence to you also. *takes a knee and puts his hands together to the plate and then walks away very slowly*

Frustration, sadness, fury and so much more. An array of feelings shot through him, blending together in his insides. The sudden disappearance of the long time leader of the AOD, followed by his leave. It was too much for some members to handle, as he observed from his surroundings. A few lost their composure, others popped drinks. His leave caused quite a stir, not only to the AOD but to several other players. Cypher remained serious, hard and stern. Leaning over to the plaque made for him, he whispered:
“Thanks. I’ll never forget. Goodbye”
With that he walked out of the procession, not looking back for what was left behind stayed behind.

As one last tribute, Gwen placed an Irish Claddaugh ring on the plaque...
Stepping back she said, "Friendship, Loyalty, Love. This is the code of the Claddaugh..." Taking one last look at the ring, it was a heart being held by two hands, with a crown on top...
Slowly, she too walked away, but not before one last tear fell to the ground emitting a puff of smoke as it hit...
