Magnificent. Welcome to Divergence Subplot board.
Player: Kenji S.
Name: Kado
Class: HeavyBlade
Weapon: Zero Sword
Age: 19
Height: 175cm (5'9")
Hair: Flaming Red, of shoulder length but spiked upwards
Eyes: Hard grey, with a piercing stare
Garb:
Kado wears a necklace of blockish bronze talismans and
a matching pair of protective wristbands, as well as a golden sash
around his waist. In addition, he is suited in baggy black pants
that flow down to the shins, covering a dark mesh lining which
reaches the rest of the way down to around his feet; the entire outfit
creates quite a dramatic effect when combined, and seems to announce
his striking figure.
Personality:
Kado is generally a loner by nature, consumed by his own personal
agenda, but is willing to adventure with others if the situation would indicate
it. He follows his own code of honor, and will almost unfailingly help a player
in need; being wizened about the ways of the World himself, Kado will share
his knowledge with others if he deems it beneficial, but is otherwise found to
be quiet.
At times, the fiery HeavyBlade displays a dry sense of humor and a burning
rage, and those few who truly know him realize that there is more to Kado than
initially meets the eye.
Info:
A veteran of many RPGs, Kenji took up "The World" as a new challenge when
it came out, interested in what the VR-Tech could really do. He quickly got sucked
into the immersive World, and spent hours upon hours playing; that was before his
great 'disappearance'. Rumor has it that Kenji's character was present at the
beginning of the Outbreak, but was "drained" under questionable circumstances
at that time. Nothing was heard from him, in game or on any of the board, as days
passed by. Some gave him up as a victim of the virus, little knowing that he had
just recently reappeared in the form of Kado, the Burning Sword.
Kado is a warrior of few words and many thoughts. He nwo travels across fields
in pursuit of some secret goal, which seems to be linked to the recent virus
appearances the numbered sectors. Though his motives are uncertain, Kado is
nevertheless frequently found combatting virus programs and aiding players in
need. At times, this rogue HeavyBlade displays a dry sense of humor and is willing
to party up with various personas, but usually, Kado moves on again, an unwavering
drifter.
Above all things, Kado insists upon maintaining the "Purity" of the World as a place
where fun, friendship, and free expression can flourish: this is evident in both his
personal code of honor and his animosity towards hackers and infected program bits.
Sometimes, the flaming warrior has been seen gazing out onto the virtual horizon, a
look of profound sadness etched across his features as he watches the sun set, yet
few if any know the cause of his hidden sorrow...

Welcome to The World, courtesy of the CC Corporation, inc
Please enjoy your new reality!!!
There was a faint humming as waves pulsated around my body.
The Visor screen flashed to life, revealing a new world, the World, to my eyes as I looked around in awe.
"This ... this is incredible" I whispered, looking at the bustling city, full of eager new player, at the lush green fields outside the city, with their radiant hues and inviting sense of presence.
A cool wind blew past me as I walked on to the street, and the tingling sensation as I walked away from the last waves of the closing warp gate made a shiver of anticipation run down my spine.
Wait a second... a cool breeze?...tingling? I couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence towards this new world that I had entered; it wasn't just a game, I could feel that I was there.
I'd know. I had played RPGs before, hundred of them; I was a veteran of the era when you played games on a console, for crying out loud, before ViScreens became the rage. But all of the, ALL OF THEM, even the best ones, never made me actually feel as if I was in the world of the game. Maybe that's why I picked up The World in the first place, because I wanted to see, wanted to feel for myself the unique creation of that one genius mind, that had the entire world abuzz about its 'World Revolution'
A girl, she was a small CrestUser-framed player with huge, radiant blue eyes that reflected the light from the virtual sun, long, wild neon green hair, and a showy magenta-hued dress with matching acessories walked past me, waving a boquet of flowers and decorating the town with them. How could I describe the wonder, I wondered as I was stunned again by the exotic, otherWorldly scent of the girl's floral mass. I think I know someone who would really like this World...
With that, I resolved, 'No, this isn't the next virtual plane, this is real, this is a Real world, the Other World! This is as much reality as the sometimes cruel, sometimes joyous earth, and I will protect it just as I protect my other home.' I was hooked, and so I began my next great adventure...
Thank, Tokki. I'm enjoying it :D !
