Hahaha, I watched it at Anime North last year, and I thought it was awesome, lol, I was seriously crying at the end... why? Because I 'thought' Asuka died, and she'd never be able to get togehter with Shinji....

AHH! Its the End of Evangelion all over again! No!!!! .......Sorry.... the whole death of humanity totally reminded me of that movie.

It was quite a strange movie, probably the strangest anime I have ever seen. It really gets ya thinkin though. The whole ending thing, with Shinji choking Asuka.... well, was just plain bizaar. That movie kinda freaked me out, after watching it, i was just sitting there staring at my TV screen thinking 'WOW! now theres somethin to get ya thinkin....'

The main character is never my favorite. Maybe my second favorite but never the favoirte. they hardly ever lose and are focused on too much. I go for the underdogs, the important characters that are not invincible. Piccolo from dbz, shadow fox from zoids, trowa from gundam, Hiei from yuyuhakusho, syanoske from kenshin.

(Ity is easy when you are a fanatic of 18 different shows...compare them in charts and graphs like me or just look. How often does the main character lose...not enough.)

Honestly, I like the episodes where the main guy gets whupped, only because it doesn't happen very often.
