Title: Say Hi!
Flow - December 21, 2008 05:44 PM (GMT)
I'm new here, I know jack all about .hack outside of the //Sign portions of the series, I like cheese, I've been role playing for like... five years now, I'm literate, I can do basic math, I absorb Automotive-related knowledge like a sponge and am currently building my own Drift-spec tuner, I talk too much about cars given the opportunity, I am the Lorax, I speak for the Trees, I have no clue wtf that thing in my sig is, I asked Sekai about joining here because I'm sick of writing about Naruto and am currently under the tutelage of Takua for becoming a wave master.
Also, I just pulled an Eleven hour graveyard shift at work! I rock!
...I want make friends now?!
(I'm on far too much caffeine at the moment, please excuse my behavior...)
Stane - December 21, 2008 05:52 PM (GMT)
Isn't it "LorAx"? Eh, my Dr. Seuss is probably just getting a little rusty. Hey man! Welcome!
EDIT: Since this thread has seemingly turned into an intro thread, I've decided to be a jerk and hog the number 1 seed! HA!
I rounded my 2nd year here a month and a couple weeks ago. My acceptance into the members group marks the date of Rayo's resignation and also less than a week before the server crash. Fair trade, wouldn't you say? >_< Anyway, I joined the AD after the server crash sucked my profile and first quest with Vipora Tri away (who will be obliterated with all the others, the character, not the person). I quickly became friends with what I estimate to be all of the AD. After a long while, I finished my first quest and gained a level! I've gained 3 levels in 2 years, but that's only because I'm lazy and too darn loyal to my questing partners. Believe me, if you put your mind to it, you can level on this site extremely fast - it's not easy, but it's been done.
Right now I'm second in command of the AD and the last remaining DM (assuming Damek left us :<) of the Inferno event you might have seen posts about. I've enjoyed this site enough to name it one of the highlights of my life and hope to never leave it. *salute*
Shenmock - December 21, 2008 05:58 PM (GMT)
I don't know what's in your sig either. :P
But it's good to have a writer coming to Divvy and all. :D I'm kinda slow on RPing at the moment, but...yeah.
Yeah. Welcome!
Flow - December 21, 2008 06:10 PM (GMT)
You're absolutely right, it IS Lorax. How careless of me for such a typo. I am exceptionally sleep deprived, you see...
Thanks for the welcomes, guys. :)

Er...
Not to bust your Bublé, but you've still gotta go to the registration forum and fill out our form and stuff.
Character Registration ForumUltimate Divergence Guide - Registration Form in Purple, section 2b.
Just post a new thread in the registration forum with that form filled out to the best of your ability, and we'll let you know what you need to do from there. ^_^
Again, sorry to steal your thunder...

Incidentally,
From Maplestory, it's the "Boogie" monster, summoned by one of the more powerful bosses.
Sekai - December 21, 2008 11:46 PM (GMT)
Err... Dien? He's obviously read everything in the FAQ or else he wouldn't, y'know, have been able to post.
He's also been working his ass off- as mentioned above- and hasn't had time to get his registration up. Chillax man, chillax. He just wanted to say "hi" to everyone, there's nothing wrong with wanting to know the members of your community.
Smile and say 'hi'.
Flow - December 22, 2008 12:30 AM (GMT)
Cool, that's fixed. I couldn't post my written insanity there for a bit. Seems my permissions died off while I slumbered.
But I digress, I wasn't aware I had broken a rule and was certain I had seen something about being allowed to say hi and whatnot, you know get to know the community in-case I needed help, or just wanted to make new friends in-general. Everywhere else I've trotted it's usually been okay and banter with the populous whilst collecting an idea for your character.
I am working on it -mentally, might I add-. But like both I and Sekai have relented, I'm pulling damn near twelve hour shifts counting lunch at work. It sucks. A lot. And leaves me no room for much else than idle chit chat while i organize my ideas with what's left of my brain stem.
Actually, I have a wonderful character idea and have run it by Sekai to see if it had previously been done. I promise many lulz.
Centrus - December 22, 2008 12:50 AM (GMT)
BSB-chan, you can actually post in the GD without going through reg now. While it's been tradition [read:mandatory] to get your reg done before you post in other areas, I don't think a thread to introduce yourself is all that bad of an idea. With permission from Cap'n Flow, I'd like to change the topic of this title to "Introduce Yourself", and Pin it for future use.
You mind?
Oh, and Welcome!!!! Automotive knowledge, eh? Know anything about Morris Minors? I've got a Morris which, from the firewall up, is actually an '88 Honda Accord. It's been a beautiful pain. I love that thing.
Sekai - December 22, 2008 01:32 AM (GMT)
-.- Cent, you, me an' a Witch are gonna have a late night talk in a dark alley if you keep up with this whole calling me "BSB-chan" thing.
And no, it likely won't turn out well for you; especially since you won't have your car to protect you this time. XD
EDIT: Good idea, we need an Introduce Yourself thread.
Jpec07 - December 22, 2008 01:59 AM (GMT)
...huh. First I've heard of this change, but alright. ^_^
Welcome aboard, Flow!
Flow - December 22, 2008 04:35 AM (GMT)
Oh, British cars are not my specialty, but from what i know of Morris, they never really worked with Honda. But if it what you say, then you've got yourself a very reliable piece of work engine-wise. Due to your location, I would continue to monitor the condition of various rubber parts to your car. Bushings, belts, hoses, etc.
Honda is notorious for a lot of this, much like GM (On our shores here in America) so that they could keep costs down in production. Considering the age and weather conditions in your area, I would watch them for significant wear and tear. Outside of that, it should keep going for many years as it has now.
I'm not much of a Honda fan, but they are one of the easiest products to work with. I'm much more in-tune with Nissan, personally. That's what drove me to my choice project of a Nissan 240sx S13 (180Sx in Japan with the CA18DE[T] engine, but a KA24DE in the US).
I have limited knowledge on them beyond that. I'm actually relatively surprised to have ever Seen an MG Midget Mk I in my parts, which is the sportier label of your cars-maker.
Also, LOL at Sekai's BSB-chan story.

Welcome aboard, Flow! |
Dien, it was in the whole Spamicide mod discussion. It's based off the idea that spambots only start threads, not reply, so, this was the easiest way to combat the situation. I figured that, for now, since we have so few incoming members, we could let them have the luxury of talking to other people on the boar while they're letting their application process.
...Which... is still supposed to mean that they're supposed to put up their application and get it going before they go messing around elsewhere >.> ...
So... yeah. Flow's gonna need to get a Reg up before (s)he makes anymore posts elsewhere, or else I'm gonna have to make a separate usergroup for it again x.x'
Edit to Sekai: Well, the New Users thread is kinda supposed to be an introduce yourself thread.
Clearing - December 22, 2008 05:50 AM (GMT)
Hello, I'm Clearing. Constant lurker who knows of a LOT OF people, but doesn't actually know most anyone. (Well, outside of Locke, Bane, Cent, Shenny, Vei and Fu.) I write a lot, and read more than I do most anything else. And, as everyone should know, I am the biggest stumble junkie that has ever existed. I've been clean for 3 days, but that was just because I was on a computer without Stumble Upon.
I have actually been here for a pretty long while. I just haven't done anything on this site ever. (And I even have a character I completely enjoy writing)
...I just realized how much of a loser I am. I've been hear close to three years, and I haven't done diddly or met anyone.

5 years, 4 different characters. None above level 3.
I feel ya.
And hiya, I am the resident... jerk? Iunno, I'm something, but it doesn't really matter. I will lawl at your phailure though, so keep that in mind.
I don't bite though.
Raven - December 22, 2008 06:42 AM (GMT)
I'm Raven. Been here for... 4 or 5 years? I think. I know I was still in high school when I joined, and I'm 4th year University now, so I assume its atleast 4...
Yeah, had one character this whole time, level 25 or so, got into Main... and then kind of fell of the rping bandwagon. I've more or less quit the rping aspect of Divvy now, but I'm still around and lurking the GD.
lugiablaster - December 22, 2008 08:20 AM (GMT)
We're supposed to introduce ourselves here? I don't wanna... it's a pain explaining how I'm probably one of the three most amazing people on this board. How I'm a genius who cares little for visible results. My length here can be determined simply by getting my join date, subtracting my absent days, include the time I randomly visit while off, divide by my multiple personalities, then multiplied by my indivisible amazingness. I've done a lot of junk here. Lately, none of the youngsters know me at all, but that's fine by me, since I have enough younger friends to be classified... unhealthy? Lately, I've been busy with life, so I don't RP, but I'm still around, tossing up posts such as these, then disappearing.
And apparently, I'm one of the few people who can spell resurrects...
Sydofh - December 22, 2008 09:48 AM (GMT)
Me and Lugiablaster are pretty big deals around this place. That's all anyone needs to know.
Oh, and Exangelus is lame. Like woah.
Flow - December 22, 2008 05:45 PM (GMT)
Lyra > I'm a guy.
I will have my registration post up. I'm actually quite excited about being here. This place looks fun and (highly) active for a change. I'm not a bum troll. :(
I know not to post elsewhere.
I Promise. :)

Everyone else,
Thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone! :D
I think I'm gonna like it here.
Lyra - December 22, 2008 06:48 PM (GMT)
*scratches her head* I meant the thread actually titled "New Users". But, whatever.
Hi, I'm Lyra, and I sort of run this show, to whatever extent it actually needs running. The site is technically mine, through a series of hand-me-downs as one head Admin after another either grew disinterested or cracked under the pressure and vanished. Hell, I myself did so for a period of over a year, only to return under the vague assumption that the site was still here and could be nursed back to help.
I'm on my second clan. When I came here five and a half years ago, I dragged with me six of my closest friends, and we became the Figment Raiders - for a time, the most active clan on the site. Then things got complicated and ugly, and I disbanded them and joined the Swordbreakers. I still wear my goggles anyway, just because it's easier to get away with online than in real life, where people question eccentricity much more harshly.
I know the every move of this site, if I want to. I know that out of the 284 members our site has, 216 have failed to make a post within the last 30 days; so we have 68 members I'd consider active, 46 of them very much so as they've posted at least within the last week. I have the power to delete every single one of those with just two clicks right now, and I'm not always comfortable with that. I'm also not always comfortable with the fact that I never know what my staff or the members actually wants because there's too many factors involved in running this site and I've sort of lost touch.
I could tell you who has an SO, who wants one, who has vowed off dating, and who just wants a good time. I could tell you what state and often what city most of the site members live in, and some of them haven't even told me - I could just hunt them down by IP address. I could hate Exangelus more than the others, along with each of the other members who've actually brought legitimate problems to the site at some point, but I just hate the fact that everyone views Hate Ex Day as an excuse to break the long-forgotten and perhaps mildly useless three-banners-per-signature rule. I could bring back vertical banners, but the three people on this site who still use an 800x1020 resolution voluntarily would kill me, even though on my 1200x1920 or 1000x1680 monitors, it takes up no space as all. I could try to outClampNerd Raven by pointing out that I'm typing on my laptop Mokona beside my desktop Yuuko which has my external drives Kero, Chii, and Kurogane, and they're all connected by my router Yuzuki, but, I stopped reading Tsubasa twelve volumes ago when things got weird and so I know I'm not a Clamp fan anymore. I could get upset because Clearing just out-level-one'd my long lost youngest internet daughter, and that was her only pride, but the girl in question has blocked two attempts to Facebook her and hung up on me the one time I've called her in the last three years, so I know it doesn't matter.
I'm supposed to be wrapping presents for my godsons right now, but the gifts are in the trunk of my car, which is lost somewhere within two miles of here with Kiwi, who tried to drive Ko_InuYasha to work for me so I could start wrapping, but doesn't know his way around so I shouldn't have let him go. I'm also troubled because the father of the boys I'm giving these gifts to is amongst the people guaranteed to be deleted this month, because he hasn't posted in over two years, and I know he will not and cannot be back, because he's gotten a life, like so many of us either already have or will soon.
So hi, I'm Lyra, and the notion of suddenly not having time in my life for what I love scares me, as does the way I just splooged out this post. I'm going to go try to rescue Kiwi now.
Crimson Rose - December 22, 2008 10:02 PM (GMT)
Hi, I'm Crimson Rose, but I prefer to be called Rose. I first was an overly hyper newb on this site like 4 years ago or something. I gained levels quickly and posted alot in the GD. I was VERY active. Shortly after that I became a moderator for maybe a year's time or something. Then that became difficult when I got a job and went to college so I became really inactive and got removed from staff. ...And now I randomly came back because I'm on Christmas break. I don't know how long I'll be around. I'm currently trying to do a quest but it's a just for fun deal.
Regardless, nice to meet you. ^_^
Centrus - December 23, 2008 12:44 AM (GMT)
Name's Centrus, though I've been called Cent, Centy, and many "decorative" names by Seksi-chan [see, not BSB]. In fact, I think every name she has ever given me has been "colorful", in one way or another.
I kinda took the opposite route of Lyra. I was originally a Swordbreaker, though only after two failed attempts at becoming a clannie. [D-Syndicate and VoT didn't like me, for some reason xD] Thank God I failed, though, since the 'Breakers have become very much a family to me. Kiwi-kins and Slicer were the first people here to make me feel at home, followed very closely by Senna and Duo. Since then, the number has only grown, and I am eternally blessed with the friends I have made here. An attempt to form a new clan was made by some former Figment Raiders, deemed the Anima Mundi, which had experienced its hard times as well. I was given honorary membership to the clan, and after the third leader in under two months left, I was voted the new rep. Since then, I've scrambled to get things going, but everyone there is awesome and loving, and that helps a lot. We're a little mini-family, and it's insane awesome. So that's where I'm at there. xD I, too, wear my goggles with pride.
As for staff situations? I commented on a lot of registrations for a while, and I became a Reg Mod. I did my stint there, and pretty soon I was a Board Mod. I couldn't RP for a while, and my services were deemed unnecessary, so I was taken back down to Reg Mod for a while, but I still kept up on that like no tomorrow. After a while, it was back to Board Mod. This summer, [July 11th], I became an Admin, making me the newest receiver of headaches in...some time. [I jest, I jest.] Like Lyra, I worry about not knowing what it is that everyone wants, but I do my best to keep in touch with as many of the players as I can[when my job doesn't narrow down my time considerably. Hell, even then, I talk more than I should xD].
I joined this site with the goal of becoming a Fist Fighter, something I achieved about a year ago. From there, my goal was to lead a clan, something I am proud to say I do [with some stumbles here and there, I'll admit]. My final goal is something that never sees an end, and that is to make friends. A lot of the people here have very warm and fuzzy places in my heart, and I am ever grateful for having this wonderful place to have met them.
Now I just gotta finish that quest I've been writing for months. =D
Magras - December 23, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)

He forgets to mention that he is my American clone.
I'm Magras, and I'm very...well, not bipolar so much as extremely flippant emotionally. There isn't really much else to say generally, as I've regressed to lurking and posting occasionally, however I'm still trying to RP here. Don't really think I'll ever leave.
History-wise, I joined, let's see, in June of '05 (has it been three and a half years already? OOOLLLLLLDDDDD), and jumped into a big quest right off the get-go. Writing with a few members there piqued my interest in joining the Army of Darkness and...for more information you can bug Kyin because I don't really feel like typing out something nobody wants to read after a certain point. Oh yes, I started as a Wavemaster, and now I'm a Blademaster with the urge to switch classes again. Indecisive, no?
Goals? None To become the board's only active Whipmaster eventually (unless the ongoing tournament gives me something that I won't be able to use *frown*) and to STAY on the board, even if it means gluing a monitor with the 'home page' of the site burned onto the screen on my arm.
Uruvei - December 23, 2008 03:45 AM (GMT)
Argh. *doesn't wanna read Lyra and Cent's walls of text*
*does anyway*
I... feel like Lyra-sama needs a hug. ._.
*hugs Ms. Fox-Lady*
I joined divvy as a freshman in high school, and now I'm a freshman in college, so I been around. :P I dragged my best friend from highschool onto here, and she's still around a bit - Urufu, although I swear the name similarity is completely coincidental. She didn't know my username until she's already made hers.
I've also met my other best friend here - Stane, who is the second in command of the clan I lead. The Advent Dynasty was started by Ashura (not Asura, mind, but the player now known as Ashura_Leingod). When Ashura-kun went to college and became a military doctor and stuff, he passed the clan on to me, the original second in command.
I feel like I need to mention that STANE AND I ARE NOT DATING. Kay kay? 'Cause I heard there was a rumor going around that we were, and that's inaccurate and will be for at least 3 more years, due to things that I don't feel like explaining to random people.
So uh... yeah, welcome to Divvy. I hope you stick around. As you can see by now, a lot of people come and just never leave. Which is hopefully an indicator that Divvy is a pretty awesome community to be a part of. ^_^
Reinier - December 23, 2008 07:07 AM (GMT)
Lessee... I've been around for awhile. Want to say I registered in 03, shortly after the board was created. I remember staying home from school because I was "sick," and found the site through an online guide for the first .hack game. I forget this board is even a .hack RP half the time, because I'm in main.
When I made Reinier, I made it into main within three levels or so, making me the lowest level to ever enter. First few quests sucked, because I couldn't do more then sit in the back and get my ass kicked by tigers or koalas. Or something like that.
I'm a bit of a jerk, but if you get past that I'm a decent person. I like cooking, driving, and long walks on the beach. My interests include a man by the name of Ian. And his rockin' bod.
As far as activity goes, I'm pretty inactive. I did a quickie quest with a couple of Anima kids, with the full intent on getting back into the swing of things. Still working on my solo, but college is a lot tougher then I thought it'd be.
But yeah. That's me. Practically always on AIM, so feel free to talk to me. I don't bite, mainly because I'm not a sparkly vampire.
Edit: I was told to be more specific about the bod I am in love with. And that is Cent's. Not Ex's. No one likes his. At all.
CENTEDIT: I was hoping he'd just take it out in frustration. Silly me. Dx
nighthand - December 23, 2008 07:09 AM (GMT)
Main was created in March 2003, and shortly thereafter I joined, April 1 2003. Shortly thereafter, Subs was created to avoid bandwidth issues on the Main site. I stuck with Main, and have been ever since.
Name's Nighthand, 'case that was missed.
I joined because I saw the link through one of the gamefaqs guides for //INFECTION, like many people. I even helped contribute to one of those guides, as a matter of fact =P Though that came a bit later.
I was just a regular player, and then when adminship changed hands and so did GMship, I became a "shadow GM", by which I mean I was privy to some plot secrets and had my say in some of the plot events, but I didn't actively run things. Then the head GMs poofed and I took over. This is all Mainplot stuff.
After a while of being GM of Main, I moved the site (Gingi's hosting finally lapsed) to a domain of my creation and became the Admin and owner of Main. I was given Adminship on Subs to help bring the two sites back together, and here I am.
Gotta give huge props to the folk who kept this place running. Rayo, Lyly, all the assorted mods and staff through the years. Without Subs, Main would have to *gasp* open it's registrations for the first time in years.
Keep it up you guys. Without you, I have no one to prey upon... =D

Locke - December 23, 2008 02:22 PM (GMT)
Not gonna comment on that one, Raethe.
Hey there, y'all, Locke here, one of the more active members here on Divvy though I'm sad to say I've declined a bit of late- trying to get back into things again. Though I've only been here about a year and a half now, I've show two things: amazing progress and the amazing lack of a life. (100 page solo! =D) Still, this site has done so much for me as a writer that I couldn't help but love to stick around and RP here. Sure, I'm no staff member, but I do my part to help out wherever I can. I can't help it- being nice is a curse sometimes.
As for me, I'd say that I've held a pretty consistent career here. Joined the Army of Darkness in August of '07, and ever since have been a constantly active member, though again that has declined of late as I've focused on the Eventide Crescendo. Still, I'll never forget where I started out, and in fact, I don't think it's forgotten me either, with the latest promotion. (What did I do, again?)
Anywho, in-character. Baron, Twin Blade, Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire. You have rares, I look for a way to get them by means of fair trade. I collect rare items, though mostly ones I can use- the rest are merely bargaining chips if I happen to pick them up.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. Crazy Americans, right?
Jpec07 - December 23, 2008 04:30 PM (GMT)
So I'm Dien. There are other names people call me, but because that's my primary character here, that's the main one you should concern yourself with. I try to act smart and intelligent, and to some extent it's more than an act, but any such leanings on my part will lend me to my own pride, which is said too often to go before fall. But I like fall. The leaves all change color and fall from the trees, the sky begins to get the bite of winter, and the days more quickly rend themselves unto night. Yes, fall is a good time--very pretty. ^_^
But I digress. I grew up in Massachusetts, and am currently home on break from school in California (yeah, I know, big change there). It's a Bible College, if you can believe it, and to answer the most popular next question, I don't know what God's doing in my life, or what my profession is going to be after I graduate. Well no, that's not entirely true. I'm pretty sure God wants me to be a pastor, but I'm hesitant to take steps in that direction 'cause I know I'd be bad at it.
That glimpse into my life aside, I've been a member of Divvy since the very beginning of 2005. I actually joined on the prompting of a friend, who at that time helped me to run an AIM-based DBZ RPG. It was his idea that I infiltrate here and work my way up to the leadership position, and once I had it, lead Divvy into the RPG Ring/Empire that my friend was bent on creating. However, that spring the DBZ RPG we'd been running effectively died with no hope of resurrection, along with any ill-conceived plans at world domination.
I've always tried to be somewhat...noticeable? My first quest on Divvy was Shattered Souls: a monstrous quest for its time and an epic undertaking that really raised the bar on how questing was supposed to be done. There was one quest after that which didn't quite matter, but my last quest on Subs was the Mainplot Recruitment of '05-'06. To that time, it was the longest quest in existence anywhere, and under the leadership of Nighthand as GM, three of us advanced to Main. Of those, only me and Canti still regularly RP on main (Zhao shows up every now and then, but tends to be poofy).
Four paragraphs and I'm not done rambling yet? Make it five. I'm also one of the Graphics Titans here on Divvy, with Zan being the other, and perhaps my biggest competition when he's actually taking orders. I've also worked my way into the administration, and currently preside over Regs and Q&C. There was a point when I was a global mod, but a falling out with one of the admins quickly remedied that.
So that's it. In a nutshell, I'm really wordy and am very capable of producing wall'o'text's... ^_^

Hey, what's up? I'm Savior X, but my other nickname here is Savvy, created by Shenny-poo, I think. I've been here on Divvy for at least....5 years now, almost 6! =D I'm kinda of an on-and-off again quester. I get into this vibes of rampant RPing, then it just sorta of rolls over and dies. Hmm...what else....OH YEA! I'm also responsible for that really "dead" section of the forum known as The World TCG, a card game that we had set up on the forums. It had it's ups and downs, but I think it was an interested success story, especially since there's still like 100,000 Gold just chilling in the TCG Bank Account. ^__^ Anyways, nice to meet you Flow.

Anyway, Savior couldn't stalk his own ceiling cat so I know I'm pretty safe.
<.< Also, Rayo hears all. Mainly because people tell me stuff, which works great by the way, thanks for asking, why haven't you been zapped?
If you didn't pick it up from the above mentions, I am Rayo. I joined within about a month of the site starting up, quested with Wanderer and Zavier for a bit, and become one of the first mods for subplots when it became a separate board. I joined main that summer, left it a few months later to quest in subs, and have since rejoined it.
My character is lightning based, started off as a wavemaster and is currently an archer. Any IC battle plans have strange names, I used to run everything, and I can still delete people through the power of suggestion/mind control. Not accounts mind you, actual people. Why do you think the names Kurai, Barry, Julian, and Kiwi are never seen? (As for Kiwi, I'm referring to numbers 1 & 2)
So... hi. Please never IM me asking me who I am, because you put me on buddy list four or five years ago and wanted to check why. If you have to ask I probably shouldn't be there. (and neither are most of you now that I've finally cleaned my buddy list)
Also, how many four letter words were in this post?

Ah, so it seems we're giving a history of ourselves, eh? Sounds like fun! ^_^
*ahem* So I joined about a year and a half ago in June. It was summer, so obviously, I was bored to death. I had joined a bunch of other sites and met a few people that are on here today. Anyways, joined back in June as a pretty bad writer (I still wonder how I got in with my registration... XD), and then did quest after quest after quest...yeah. o_o; I eventually joined the AoD in July or August, I think, and I stayed with them for a year before leaving to the Swordbreakers. I also joined the Eventide Crescendo about a year ago (jeez, time flies by...) and later quit for my own reasons...
In August/September I was cranking out quests a load, did a long solo in October, and then slowed down a load when November and December came. I check in here a lot and still try to post, but...yeah. @_@;
There isn't a lot to say, really. I've been year for about a year and a half, done a good amount of quest (well, maybe a little too many), and am practically always on AIM. Yay for always being up to a conversation that's really lame.
Anyways, good to see ya! ^_^
And are we going to give a history of ourselves to every new member? XDDDD
Sekai - December 23, 2008 08:08 PM (GMT)
I joined clear back in April of '05 after a person I was trying to build a .hack based RPG on Gaia Online with sent me the link and told me I'd be good to join that. Sophomore year to, well, now and still with it!
I'm Sekai; first female Archer on the site and probably the one most ICly active, as far as I know. Technically, I'm in Mainplot but, I like questing with other people here on Subs too. I'm a total character development whore and am rather shameless about it, it's my favorite part of roleplaying. XD
I'm the current Commander of the Army of Darkness since Sasuke's taken his leave to be off for RL matters and am in the process of planning out the next Clan Quest for them they should be ph34ring a very great ph34r. But that never happens unless I threaten to break out Sadist!Mommy.
I've also managed an- in my highly limited and not so important opinion. XD- impressive feat by averaging 11.1 levels a year to manage to get to my Level 40 position. :D
Sekai as a character, well, XD she started out as a Mary Sue of all Mary Sues; being as I took her concept from a two person RP my sister and I did at home when we were bored. Never had any kind of elemental affiliation with her until I changed her over to an Archer and realized I used a lot of Wood based spells and green in her outfit. So now she's Commander Chibi of the Army of Darkness.... despite being, err, terrified of the Darkness type spells. and people. Mostly. She's also in a lesbian relationship with Kira; an NPC/AI in my "story" that I've built for her.
So... yes, that's about all I can think of to introduce myself with. Yay?
Takua - December 23, 2008 08:39 PM (GMT)
Joined shortly after Sekai along with Centrus and one or two other completely unimportant *coughcough* people that may or may not be named Matthias. I completely sucked at the time, as can be seen or testified by quite a few people, and failed to get a level until I went into a solo.
My name is Takua and I'm the (now) highest level Wavemaster in Divergence. I haven't yet passed Rayo's record, but I hope to eventually reach that point. Somewhat interestingly, my character's second element is Rai and he thus follows Rayo quite nicely into the land of zapping people. His primary element is Rue. He's also a bit mentally unstable, although I haven't revealed exactly why yet, but I'm in the process of doing so.
I was kind of in limbo for a long time on this site, drifting in and out without a desire to quest while I played around with other sites, but I finally became active around two years ago. I brushed up my plot, became much better at writing in a single quest thanks to the input of two people, and started turning my character from a clone of myself into an actual character of his own right. Since that point, I went from a level 5 Wavemaster into a level 33, most of it in a single week long period where I got a grand total of 18 levels thanks, mostly, to what then had been the longest quest on the site. That has, already, been surpassed sadly enough. I joined the Army of Darkness shortly after I became active again, and am currently an officer.

Ello der govna.
I like to introduce myself as me. Nice to meet you.
I suppose I joined back in May of my freshman year. Which was like, 2005 maybe? I'm Raquar a Long Arm of no major fame or fortune I just kinda like to tool along and poke around. I've been seen to do occasional things on subs, and have plans to cause serious problems if somebody *coughcoughahemCENTRUSahemcoughcough* ever gets around to settling his stuff. But I just like to poke around and be disruptive for the most part.
Not terribly disruptive but enough that all my good friends like to stick poison in my gatorade occasionally.
