Place your bets, folks! The Root Town Clash is here, and there are two methods of betting.

Option One: Per Round
You may place bets on the individual fighters in each match. For example, in the match between Magras and Hitori, you may place a bet on one of the two fighters. If no opposing bet is placed and the chosen fighter wins, you receive your money back. If an opposing bet is placed, the winner doubles their bet.
These bets will be cut off after both players have made three posts in their duels. This should give you somewhere between a week and three weeks to decide if you like their style.

Option Two: Overall
You may place a bet on the overall winner of the tournament ladders. The calculations for this will be handled differently though. All of this money goes into a pool, and the pool is doubled. When the winner is decided, those who placed bets on the lucky player will receive payment based on the pot size.
These bets will be closed off after the first round of eliminations. You have until each player has made two posts in round two of the tournament ladder.

If you want to change your bet, you may do so, up until when the bets would be closed for that match. Your winnings, in place of being double what you bet will be one and a half times what you had bet.

All winnings will be awarded on a round-by-round basis to ensure that you don't use winnings from one match to bet on another slower match. We don't want you getting rich too quick!
