Title: Happy New Year!
Description: to Divvy
Magras - January 1, 2008 07:11 AM (GMT)
Happy New Year to y'all! Drink up!
Any resolutions from you guys? My Divvy one's...to quest more (and become a better writer through it). Personally reaching for level 26, so 20 more levels. Mostly because it leaves character development over a broader time period, but also because this is my 3rd year and I've got not much to show for it >_>

Yes, Happy New Years to all! I don't know about the rest of you, but I rang in the new year with a couple of polish guys, some stoned and/or drunk white guys, a racist asian guy, a ditzy blonde girl, and a gay couple. Yep. Hope everyone has a great 2008!

I'm suprised it took so long for this kind of topic to show up, heh.
Resolution, to post at least once a week, I have about 5 different places that I really should post even more often, and haven't posted in the last week. Divvy quest, livejournal, D&D forum, Fanfiction.net ideas bouncing around in the head, etc.
I really should post a lot more often, but the muses haven't helped any, maybe I should find a fire elemental muse (that I get along with) that isn't so moody.
No party, just staying up to see the first second of the new year. Happy waiting for the new year to arrive in my time zone.
Edit: First song on my player in 2008, Here I Go Again by Casting Crowns, interesting choice, what to do with that, especially considering that all of my friends are about a days travel away by motor. *wanders off pondering*

Happy New Year everyone!
Don't know what I want my Divvy New Year's goal to be yet, maybe figure something out later on.
I already know my actual Goal for the new year, same as my old one!
Rang in the New Year posting, playing D&D and hanging out with Takua and Talal.
Currently enjoying yummy food and playing around.

Oh damn... I didn't get 5 RP posts in '07.
I said I'd do it, but I failed. I also said I would do something to myself if I didn't get 5 RP posts, but I'ma change it to this.
*commits Seppuku*
Damn it, I MISSED!
*runs off*

Me, I got to kiss my boyfriend right as the ball dropped in Times Square on the television screen. ^__^ That was all I could really ask for.
I have no resolutions. Personally, there's not much I want to change about myself. There are things I "should" do, but they're mostly expectations of other people projected on me - and this year, I decided not to cave in to the pressure, since I won't keep those false resolutions anyway.
I guess even so, I do want myself to post more on Divvy. Hopefully, that will arise naturally. I won't force myself to post more "or else", because that's not conducive to creativity. And posting without creativity is just hell. -_-

I was with friends and friends of a friend as the New Year came in... it was a fairly relaxed night, although two people got a little two excited and ended up missing the ball drop. >>
As for resolutions... I'll be honest, Divvy isn't at the top. My life right now is consumed by my desire to become a pro tennis player, a seemingly impossible goal, but one that I'm trying to strive for nonetheless. I made the decision to take 9 months off from school to train every day like mad, and hopefully I'll have something to show for it.
I'll likely maintain my posting on Main, simply because it's not a hard thing to devote a half hour or so every few days, but I've definitely cut out almost everything else in my life for this cause.
Oh my, I got so serious.
Anyways, if my endeavor fails, I'll just become a pro poker player! WOOOOO!

Happy New Years everyone!

Dang, Fuzzy. o_o
Good luck!
Dedication is always more important than skill, but I know you're not lacking in either.
I know you'll make it. ^__^
