Baron walked into the store, looking for the ever-present face of Nizam. Instead of being in the Pawn Shop for his own profit, the Twin Blade actually was here in order to do something for the AoD. It was about that time again, when the Armory was to be cleaned out. Baron laid his shopping list on the counter to be looked over.

The crimson glow of sun light briming from Ko's clothes lights up the dim store as the heavyblade opens the door. With a smile on his face he wraps his arm around Locke's shoulders and bows their heads to the shopkeeper.

"I'm sorry but we're going to have to talk about the transaction before hand."

After whispering some things to his private, the Leiutenant leaves the shop to allow bartering to continue.

Nizam was quiet initially, eyes carefully looking over the list, mumbling a bit to himself in turn. It was by the furrow of his brow that his active personality shined.

"Meh. You guys again. Never with the short lists, are you?" A pause. "If I give you the Scarab Earrings right now, you'll still make 13,000 GP off of the deal. What would you like to do?"

Checking a short flash-mail, Baron looked up at Nizam. Things seemed to be going well so far...

"Actually, there's one more thing I need. Can I get a Soul Linker as well? Same deal as the Scarab Earrings. What would the remaining total be?"

The Shopkeeper, doing a bit of math in his head, mulled it over some.

"Well, since we don't have it in stock, getting it right now would still leave you with a net gain of all the items and 3,000 GP. Do we have a deal...or are there some alterations you'd like to make?"

Baron looked over the items gathered before him, assessing quality and such. Once he was satisfied with his examination, the deal moved to the next stage: bartering.

"I dunno if the ordered Soul Linker is worth 10,000 GP. I'd say that we should have a net gain of 4000 GP at least."

Nizam was quiet, considering his actions. "Well...you could always wait a week for it and your net gain would be 8,000 GP. However..." He looked over the list again. "I suppose I could let you take it all now for 4,000 GP. Which will it be?"

Baron considered for a moment, sending a brief flash-mail and getting a reply. The Twin Blade nodded to Nizam, indicating his approval.

"Alright. I'll wait a week on the Soul Linker. I'd also like to see the price if I waited the week for Scarab Earrings- I'll likely just pick up both items together."

Nizam again rethought the prices. "You'd get a 10,000 GP gain if you waited a week for both of them to arrive. Is that going to be our deal? Either way, come back in a week to pick up your items."

OOC: Even if you post a reply now on the cost, do a double post in a week that picks up your items (the one/two you have to wait for) so absent-minded Nizam can remember to edit the item list and close the thread.

Considering once more, and liking what he heard, Baron shook on it and the deal was struck.

"Alright. I'll pick up the Spell Blades, Hands of Water, Flare Guard and 10,000 GP now. I'll be back in a week for the other two items. Thanks for the dealing, Nizam. I'll be seeing you in a week."

Baron walked back into the store, now that the week was up.

"Alright, I'm here to pick up the Scarab Earrings and Soul Linker now."

Nizam nodded and handed the items over, returning to his task.
