Brought to this familiar scene yet again, Kiwi walks amongst the stands and kioskos which dot the Trade Center. For the past 2 days he has come to this area once and finds himself in it again. This time, he seeks to fulfill a promise he made. Taking a seat next to a small wooden table he places a Nomad's Hood that he had been wearing just a few minutes ago. Along side of it is a pair of Used Greaves. He waits patiently there, his dark brown eyes shifting around in search of the axe wielding player known as Tang. Kiwi promised Tang a reward if she managed to gain 2 levels in a single trip to a field. The items that lay on the table are her reward for completing her end of the bargain. As he moves in his seat the sound of coins emerges from the left inner pocket of his jacket. His right hand calmly slips into it and draws out a small pouch with coins inside. His eyes widen suddenly as he remembers that he had also offered Tang 300 GP for her Silver Axe. The small pouch waits just next to her gifts while he waits for her.
As Tang entered the Trading Center for the first time since she entered The World, she wondered about the square, stopping to look at a few goods some of the merchants offered. Sensing time slipping away, she quickly dropped her "window shopping" and began her quest looking for her comrade, Kiwi. Seeing him sitting beside a wooden table, Tang quickened her pace and slid into a chair in front of him.
"Well, I'm here," she said with a silly grin on her face. "And, here's my axe," she said as she placed the gleaming silver weapon on the table.
His eyes turning to meet hers, Kiwi cannot resist smiling at the peculiar player before him. He takes the large glimmering axe by the handle, wondering why players want such a weapon so much. He left hand pulls his jacket aside a bit while the right slowly slides it into the inside of the jacket, where it disappears into the quiet space where items are kept. Rising up from his chair, his eyes stay on her a moment.
"The Nomad's Hood and Used Greaves are your reward for gaining 2 levels as I promised I would reward you if you did well. "The small pouch has 300 GP, the payment for your Silver Axe. Maybe we'll meet again," he says still maintaining his smile.
Tang smiled and stood up, collecting her GP and gear. "Thanks a million," she replied, trying to keep herself from showing her clumsyness and tripping over something. "Perhaps we shall meet again," she said with the same silly grin as when she had first arrived. After the two had said their goodbyes and started on their separate ways, Tang pocketed her GP and decided to head back to the Figment Raiders' H.Q. to check if her supposed quest mate had shown up again and to equip her new armor.
