Personality: She is usually viewed a nice or pleasant person to be around and talk to. Though she is very warm she is amused that her usual appearance makes people surprised when she gets straight down to business. She takes quests, deals, duels, ect. very seriously and doesn't like to get off focus from tasks at hand. She is cold and cruel when she has to be, or when she feels it to be necessary. However, she is only open to those who she feels are trustworthy… which is strangely easy for her to figure out with her real self having the capability to “read” people. (All her “read” can do is see a person’s feelings or a slight insight to a personality NO cheating or hacking.) She likes to meet new people and talk…
However, all of this still hides something about her but, she as much as it weighs her down, she had vowed to herself never to speak of it unless…

Sighing, Tara felt tired of drawing lines upon her paper and looked out the window she was, luckily, sitting next to this year. Just seeing the outside made her want to just walk out of class, she was sick of hearing the teacher rambling on about mid-terms. Looking down at her paper again, she felt a small smile push at the corner of her mouth. In place of the usual notes, she had drawn an elaborate picture of a girl in a flowing dress, floating above the earth in a cluster of bubbles, with little characters staring up. The girl in the bubble seemed to be crying, and below, Tara was finishing faces of awe on the little adventurers.
Perhaps, I could write something to this… maybe have her be someone who sacrificed herself to save her friends or, maybe a sacrifice for the greater good, Tara thought, tapping her pencil and looking out the window again.
“MISS Tara Jennings,” boomed the teacher’s voice causing Tara to jump in her seat. She gritted her teeth, embarrassed and annoyed as she heard her classmates laugh under their breath. How immature, she thought.
***LATER***
“That seems to have been the sixth time this week that Mr. Maaka has caught you drawing in his class Tara-chan, keep that up and you’ll have a new record,” Candi chimed as she followed Tara out of class.
“ I can’t help it that I do that. Anyway, its not like I have bad marks in his class,. I just get so sick of this whole school “thing” anyways, it makes me feel like I’m caged in some lab where they force us to conform to the government’s ideals,” Tara replied, as she walked out the door, feeling really down. She stopped short to see her friend Candi in front of her. Tara had a feeling of what was to come next.
“You really need to cheer up a bit, I know it makes me sound carefree, and I know it is hard for you with your family issues and all but, you can’t just go around all depressed forever,” She pointed out, trying to keep up with Tara’s increased pace.
“So? What if I want to be miserable all the time what will you do about it?” The comeback kept Candi quiet for a few moments, long enough for them to make it off the school grounds and off towards their homes.
“I’ve seen you happy before. And I doubt you’re always miserable, ESPECIALLY when you are alone,” Candi finally said, in a more clam, sincere voice.
Sighing, Tara replied, “You are right about that. However, I prefer not to be happy because it always made me stick out in a crowd, and I HATE that.”
“Alright, well… on a better note,” Candi started,” You want to come over to my house for a bit? I have something I want to show you!”
“Fine,” Tara agreed, knowing she would of probably been forced to go no matter what. Candi was one of a small handful of people who understood her, who was a friend. Also, she was one of the few who even knew about some of Tara’s personal situations, which proved to be a relief at times. Tara now, just followed her friend on the path to her house.
After a short time they arrived at Candi’s house. Tara took a good look around as she stepped in, making sure not to trip on a rug or misplaced shoe somewhere. It had been a while since she had been there last and didn’t know if anything had changed.
“Hurry up and check this out,” called her friend, who was dashing up the stairs to the second story. Tara followed up at a slower pace, still worn out from school, wondering how her friend could have any energy. She reached the top of the stairs just in time to see her friend dash into a red room at the end of the carpeted hallway, to the right. Sighing again, she finally made it, and walked through the doorway into her friend’s room.
“Wow, you certainly have kept up with the collecting,” Tara commented, noticing the bookshelf but stopped at that… not hearing a response from her friend. She turned to see Candi, working away at her computer.
“Yeah, still keeping up with it,” came the sudden response, at last,” but that isn’t why I brought you here.” At that, Candi held out a funny set of goggles. “Put these on. I’m going to show you something called “The World”, and I’m pretty sure you are going to like it.”
“Huh? What is this all about?” Tara questioned , examining the equipment. With only one look over to her friend Tara just put on the goggles, not wanting to anger Candi. “”The World”? That online game?!” Tara said as she saw the display before her eyes, figuring Candi was going to play as she got the best view.
“Yes,” was the simple reply, “You will be playing on my character for a bit, as a “trial”. If you like it you can buy your own game set, up at the game store in town.”
From the moment she clicked the “Login” button and was set before the chaos gate of Mac Anu, Tara could feel as though “The World” was where she could “belong”.
***THE NEXT DAY***
Tara pushed herself up and out from behind the computer tower with a great grin of satisfaction on her face. After playing “The World” over at her friend’s house last night she couldn’t wait to have her own copy, even though she did go to the extreme of getting to the store at it’s opening time, just to purchase the product.
Time to create myself! she thought happily, as she hummed, waiting for the game to load. She checked her e-mails in the meantime seeing that another friend of hers also played the game and wanted her to join. ‘Archangel’, huh? I cannot wait to see what he looks like in the game, came a thought, her smile so big, it began to hurt her face. Once the game had finally finished loading she instantly jumped onto making her character.
Tara, created her character Tsuki (meaning "Moon" in Japanese) quickly, making the character a dual sword. She also came up with a goal of her own to try and accomplish while playing the game… to earn the right to be called "The Moonlight Slayer", hoping to build a reputation and being known as a famous player in "The World" someday!! Not only that but she even hopes to get the best equipment possible and maybe a few rare items. Though, with these goals in mind she still just plays just to escape "her reality" and also hopes to find someone... Perhaps it could happen in “The World“ after all... In the meantime, at least she can have some fun.
And thus begins the journey of Tara/Tsuki...
