Title: Zaxuku's Profile!
Description: :D Here I cooome~

Zaxuku - August 12, 2007 05:03 AM (GMT)
Real World Character Info

Name:
Kirra Faire

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Height: 5’5’’

Weight: 56kg

Eyes: Chestnut brown

Hair: Dark brown to black, short and messy

Brief history: After Kirra’s parents died when she was very young (too young to remember them, really) she was brought up by her brother Zack, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. In the recent months, her older brother, who enjoyed video games along with Kirra herself, mysteriously disappeared. The girl now lives alone with a few cats in the large house they inherited from their parents.

Personality: Kirra is an amiable and outgoing, often hyper person who spends most of her free time immersing herself in video games, sci-fi or fantasy books or writing her own stories to try and escape the boredom of hum-drum normal life. She has a few close friends who she sees every day at high-school, but it is becoming harder and harder to socialise, since she’s in her last year and the workload is getting harder to keep up with.

Even though she is brimming with ideas for new stories all the time she keeps them, and all of her depth of character, mostly to herself. She prefers people only to see her light-hearted hypergirl side, and not have them know much about her deeper feelings. Not because she has some kind of awful dark past, but simply put, due to a few past high-school dramas, she finds it very hard to trust people, and is also greatly affected by the disappearance of her brother.

‘The World’ Player Information

Name:
Zaxuku

Gender: Male

Eyes: Emerald green

Hair: Black and unruly, spiking all over the place

Height: 5’7’’

Class: Heavy Blade

Clothing/Looks: Zaxuku has a slender though mainly average build of a teenage boy his age, his skin lightly tanned with green markings on his face and over his stomach and sides. He wears shoulder armour, two metal pauldrons, strapped over his bare torso. On his legs are blue-black leather pants tucked into knee-high black boots that zip up at the front, with knee-guard armour plates of the same metal as his pauldrons, and on his arms he wears armlets on both wrists extending up to his elbows. Fingerless gloves on his hands, and underneath his armlets he wears sleeves that go up from his wrists to nearly shoulder height, that are striped black and blue. Around his neck is a scarf with stripes of the same colour, hanging down low behind him.

Here’s a detailed reference picture I drew :) Though mind, the boots are supposed to be black with silver zips, I just forgot to colour them. Apologies D:

Character Personality in reflection of Player: A lot of Kirra’s personality reflects in Zaxuku, but being hidden behind the face of another also allows her to express herself more freely. She chose a male character for three reasons. One, it makes her feel stronger being Zaxuku. Two, so her friends who also play on The World wouldn’t recognise her, the only real thing connecting her to Zaxuku being the fact that they both wear stripes (Kirra wears a lot of stripy clothing IRL). Finally three, Kirra is portraying a lot of Zack in the character.

Playing out a male character also tends to make Zaxuku more cocky, and possibly more annoying than she is, and again she feels more free to express her inner emotions in The World, including feeling sad or thinking about past events. In Kirra’s eyes she is not only playing her character, but whenever she accesses The World, she is the character.

~Writing Sample~

“Splodge! Nononono, bad cat, bad cat!!!”

Splodge, the newest addition to the Faire family, the cutest little ball of white fluff with a huge black tuft of fur over his left eye (thus the name), was having problems. Kitty-litter training problems, meaning that he completely missed the meaning of the thing and preferred to refresh himself wherever he happened to be laying, sitting, or tumbling about at the time of the urge. This time, it had gone too far however… this time, the computer keyboard had suffered.

He abruptly found himself being picked up by the scruff of his neck and held up in front of the face of a very agitated teenage girl, and the usual tilt of the head and cute mewing wasn’t doing anything for him this time.

After glaring at the kitten a few good, long moments, Kirra eventually sighed and left the room with him still suspended from one hand and the un-plugged keyboard in the other, heading downstairs and to the far-right side of the house where the laundry was. First she set Splodge down atop the washing machine, then headed outside through the laundry door and dropped her keyboard unceremoniously into the trash; there was no way she was going to clean up that stinking mess, and plus, in the study there was still Zack’s boxes of computer parts, along with about ten keyboards, one of them had to work…

Zack…

Kirra’s busy step slowed to a trudge as she went back inside. Splodge stood at the very corner of the edge of the machine, still mewling as though to say “I’M SORRY Dx LOVE ME~!” (smiley and all). The girl sighed gently, coming to stand affront the top-loader and bending down to eye-level with its kitty refugee.

”Look dude,” she started solemnly, “I know you’re lazy. If I could get away with it I wouldn’t bother going to the toilet either, but frankly I’m way too hygienic for that, and you’re gonna learn some hygiene whether you like it or not, understood? We are going to work together and you are going to be using that litter within the next week, do I make myself clear?”

Splodge rolled over.

Another sigh and Kirra set him back on the floor, following him back out into the main body of the house. Splodge had seven brothers and sisters, plus a mother and a father all living in the Faire household, but he was the youngest and most mischievous to prove it. Sure enough, about five other kittens were scattered around the bottom level of the house, all playing with each other or exploring the great realms beneath the sofas, and the rest were most likely upstairs, the parents like it up there especially. For a time Kirra had considered selling most of the offspring, but had decided in the end she liked the company.

Once upstairs again, she was met with the usual tumbling towers of cardboard boxes in the study, and anyone else who had even been in this room would agree it was probably one of the largest Health and Safety Hazards in a residential building of Melbourne. After fishing around for a good half hour Kirra finally managed to pull the most intact-looking keyboard out of the fray, then hurry back to her computer and plug it in. Thankfully, her Pentium Awesomeness (as Zack had labelled it) accepted the ancient thing eventually, and even thought the keys rattled annoyingly and there were none of the useful little buttons for volume or e-mail, it would do for now.

Speaking of email, she had one unread message apparently. Slumping boredly at the desk, she clicked the little flashing icon on her desktop and waited for the Inbox to load.

Inbox - 1 Unread (23 Total)
New Message from “Zack”

Breath caught in her throat, and for a few seconds Kirra was sure her heart all but stopped. Then she shakily clicked into her inbox, just to make sure it hadn’t been a loading bug, but no… his name was still there. The email was definitely from her brother.

Click.

‘I’m in the World.’

It took a few moments for the numbness of the shock to subside, when it did, angry tears stung in Kirra’s eyes. Was he mocking her in his absence? Of course he was somewhere around the world… and if he was in the condition to email her, even those few words, couldn’t he at least tell her where he was? If he was okay?

…No, Zack wasn’t like that. Of course it had to mean something else, because no one in their right mind would go missing then email a clue as stupid as that. There had to be something else to it, something-

”C’mon sis, this is an awesome game, why doncha just try it out?”

“I told you, I don’t do online games… too many morons!”

The world... The World. Of course.

Crashing out of her seat Kirra rushed back out of the room for the study, where she knew her brother’s game controllers had been shut up in a box since his disappearance. The software was already on their computer, and everything was paid for, all she’d have to do was create a character and then she’d be set…
