The whistling winds of the bustling city of Mac Anu were nowhere to be heard, only the talkative voices of strangers echoed throughout the town. One gigantic mob surrounded a humongous billboard which was to the left of the Chaos Gate. Large bolded words were swayed over the wooden board. Each player stood in awe of the magnificent colors and foreign words which stood upon the grainy textured item.

That is right players of The World. It is once again time for the fifth of May to come upon us. However, this is also another special day as well. A few weeks ago, The World had another birthday. Can you believe it? We administrators sure can. Due to all the busy schedules and server problems, we have decided to have a combination event. A special field has been prepared at the keywords: Rising Festive Battleground

If you read the title of this bulletin, it is obvious what the events will be for. In case Spanish is not your forte, the event is a mix between the birthday of The World and Cinco de Mayo( the fifth of may).

We have made a restriction for this event though, you must be in a party of 2-5 players to enter the field. Both of these events are fun and you all deserve to have fun with another living being.

Okay. Let me start out by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIVERGENCE. A week to a week and a half ago marked the fourth birthday of Divergence. We have survived crashes and a bunch of changes in moderators and members. I have been on the site since July of 2003.

I have watched everything change. However, it is awesome to say that I have been here that long and that Divergence survived all odds. Anyways...this is also for the great holiday of Cinco de Mayo also known as Mexican Independence Day. Now onto the event specs:

1) This is a team event. 2-5 players are required to be in a group.
1a)Find a reliable team

2) I need one person to post the team in this thread

3) Be prepared for a fun party time, it is a birthday/Mexican Independence day

4) Each team will be in the same city
4a) Teams cannot interact with one another
4b) This is because they will be in different threads
4c) Each group will be in a different 'sector' of the city.
4d) These sectors are all unique.

5) This is a 72 hour event...from Friday 11 at 12:00AM(PST) to Monday 12:00AM(PST)

6) PM Sekai or myself with all questions you have.

Questions:

1) When do Sign-ups end? Thursday(May 10) at 4:00PM(PST)

2) When will the threads be up? Sometime after sign ups are closed, but please not that you should not post in these threads until 12:00 AM(PST) or your team will be disqualified.

3) Can Mainers participate? Yes, but no hacks.

4) Do we have to be in a team? Yes, it is a team event. Not a loner event.

5) I'm a little confused, what's the objective? The objective is a secret which will be given out when the quest begins. Mostly, it is to have fun like most events. You will be in a gigantic festival celebrating Cinco de Mayo. That is all I can say about it unless Sekai has something to add.

I recommend everyone find a way to participate. These great occasions come but only once a year. If there are any questions please send me or my partner, Sekai a PM with questions.
