Description: Everyone is allowed to post!

Gwen Pendragon - May 19, 2003 11:33 PM (GMT)
Steps down onto the soft earth.
"It's about time I got here, been wondering why..."

Sees people at the other end of the feild, and backs into a grove of trees, which seemed to bend down to sheild her as she drew her sword...

Rayo - May 15, 2003 09:51 PM (GMT)
Rayo put in a set of keywords and was transported. Golden Rings released him in the field.

"I think I see someone over there..." he said squinting.

Rayo walked down the field and and headed to the first golden portal.

"There is a player over there!" Bubba exclaimed. "Maybe I can form a party."

Bubba ran over to te wavemaster as Rayo reached the portal.

"Hey, do you want to form a party?"

Just then the portal opened up and released a pair of goblins. The goblins attacked separate targets. One charged Bubba. The Axemaster swung his blade at it and missed. Rayo saw the other monster moving towards Bubba.

As he raised his wand he spoke, "Rai Don."

The thunder fried the low level beast and it fell apart dead. After another miss Bubba sliced off the goblins arm with his axe. Another sideways dice finished it.

"So, do you want to join me in a party?" Bubba asked.

"Hmm, no. I am nots sure how long I can stay here. I might stick around and help you a little perhaps."

Rayo - May 16, 2003 03:24 PM (GMT)
Rayo walked and Bubba slowly trotted over towards the general direction of the dungeon. Rayo noticed a portal across the hill and pointed it out to Bubba.

"If you want to get stronger you should try more portals on the feild before attempting a dungeon," Rayo.

"I guess so," Bubba.

The portal opened and released a poisen moth and a goblin. Bubba charged the moth axe raised and swung. The axe missed the flying monster.

"Stick with the goblin for now Bubba if you want to be effective," suggested Rayo.

Rayo spoke his spell quietly and gestured with his wand over to the Poisen Moth. A series of lightning bolts from the Rai Rom struck it down. Bubba cleaved off the goblins leg in his first attack. He rapidly swung, hoping for a quick fight. Miss, Miss, hit, miss, hit. The golbin fell down and disappeared.

"You're improving a little," Rayo.

Bubba ran off and Rayo followed as they headed to the next portal.

Rayo - May 16, 2003 08:00 PM (GMT)
Rayo and Bubba continued searching for enemy gold portals. Rayo saw a pair in the distance and Bubba actually sped up.

"Wait, you don't want to deal with that many at once," Rayo warned. Rayo then muttered to himself, "I don't feel like using a resurrect..."

As Bubba approached he noticed the portals a bit late. Unfortunately there was a third portal nearby that even Rayo had not seen at first glance. The portals quickly let loose a slew of wicked beasts and monsters. The first portal released a pair of golbins and a Disco Knife. The second revealed a Mad Grass and a Swordmanoid. The final one warped a Poisen Moth to the feild. Bubba halted and then slashed out at the closest goblin. His cut missed it but when he pulled back the axe he did nick the goblin's face.

"Those monsters are surrounding him...oh well, time to act," Rayo sighed.

Rayo tapped his wand on the ground and a Gan Zot shook the earth to the left of Bubba. The casualties of the attack were a Goblin and a Mad Grass. He tapped his staff again and the Swordmanoid fell lifelessly. He pointed his weapon to the sky and performed a Rai Don that brought lighting sparks together ontop of the Poisen Moth. The Poisen Moth's wings fell off and it crumbled to the ground. Rayo gently nudged the ground with his staff and a final Gan Zot killed the Disco Knife.

"He should be able to finish this himself now," Rayo said.

Bubba had been exchanging blows with the goblin that he initially attacked. His latest swipe tore off its head.

"Lets go toward the dungeon now. I'm ready," Bubba.

"I'm sorry but I have to get going. I need to hit the shops and then I have some peronal business. Maybe some other time," Rayo said as he gated out.

Bubba - May 15, 2003 09:36 PM (GMT)
::Whump:: "Ooww.. Why do I always land so har.... Woa... Just look at this place... "

Bubba, a slow Axenam found himself on a gigantic field. There were mountains here, but they weren't in the distance, rather there was a series of winding trails and caves that led to the top of the mountain, where a large Victroian-style house loomed strangely. Turning about, Bubba saw that there were huge fields of flowers and many shallow ponds that you could walk through, but the visiblity didn't cut out at around 30 meters like the other levels, it was clear to the horizon, where he could just make out a large quarry in the distance. Several small hills spotted the landscape, that each had a strangely positioned shaddow that looked like they could be hiding doorways.

Bubba was so floundered by his choice of events, that he just stood there and thought about his options, but as he thought over the option of the mountain, he noticed that magic portals were moving and appearing at random across the pathways, and the house had a balcony that mysteriously faded from view, even though it was on the front side of the house...

"Umm... Mabye it's best if I wait here for a group of people to show up, before I try to enter my first battle... yeah... I'd better wait."
Thinking of battles, Bubba nervously turned around, hoping that there wasn't a moving portal coming toward him, but as he looked, he saw that the portals on the fields were completely stationary and normal, and that only the mountain's portals moved at all.
"Umm.. I assume that means the weaker enemies would be down below.. cause those moving portals kind of make me think of high-end monster traps..."

Bubba - May 16, 2003 01:20 AM (GMT)
Well, I was planning to head off toward the quarry over there to see if the enemies are easier to pick-off, so that I can gain some experiance before I try to tackle that strange mountain.

You could come along if you want to.

Rayo just shrugged, and both he and Bubba started off for the quarry. Bubba's slow trundling pace was quite noticable, and Rayo, since he knew Heavy Axenam could run much faster, was interested in knowing why Bubba was going so slow.

Hey, Bubba, are you unable to run any faster, or are you intentionally keeping that slow pace up for some reason?

Bubba was expecting a comment like this, so he tried his best to explain the strange situation with his character.

Well... You're right that my character can run faster Rayo, but I'm not going this speed because I just want to annoy people... um it's kinda like, I can run much faster than a normal Axenam at times, but anytime I go any faster than this pace, I start to loose my balance because of my body design (big body, small legs). So basically, the faster I go, the harder it is for me to actually controll which way I travel.

Rayo looked over at something in the distance thinking a bit.

Actually, come to think of it, I've never seen an Axenam traveling at speeds beyond their average expectations. Hmm... Mabye it does have to do with the how you're built.

Just as they finished this small conversation, they activated a portal that had been hiding in the shaddow of a hill that they had traveled over.

Out came 3 goblins.
Bubba was caught off-guard, a goblin lunged for him, but he took a wild swing at it, and caught it on the flat side of his axe, which flung the goblin into the second which was close behind, and hit the ground dazed. Rayo quickly dodged the third goblin's attack and cast Rai Don at it, ::BOOM:: the goblin was defeated in a burst of lightning! Bubba took a couple of swings at the first goblin, which had just recovered, but the goblin dodged his blows, and Bubba started slashing wildly at it in annoyance, but he never hit the goblin, while as the second goblin was sliced through on complete accident  , leaving only the first goblin, who was still bouncing back, dodging Bubba's swings. The goblin had been dodging toward Rayo, but it never realized he was there untill it felt it's head being impaled by a club, and several other harsh blows from his staff soon quickly defeated the goblin.

Then Bubba felt relieved at the end of his first battle, and almost wanted to sit down and relax, but he remembered he was here to explore, and he quickly removed the thought.

"Whew... You could really tell that was my first battle, heh heh heh, that little goblin was quite fast for me. Well, I'm off again toward the quarry!"

Bubba - May 17, 2003 01:29 AM (GMT)
"Ok, see ya! Thanks for the help!" said Bubba as Rayo left.

Bubba tried practicing his balance at running a bit, now since there was nobody around he could annoy or accidentally crash into. He started out slow, and gradually tried to run, but he veered right, and over a hill that ended suddenly. Below the edge of this hill, was a portal that opened and released... WHAM!! ... well, I gues we'll never know, because Bubba's heavy body completely flattened the creatures that were trying to come through the portal.
Bubba blinked and looked around slightly confused, he had heard a portal open, but he didn't see any monsters. He then dismissed the thought and carefully got up out of a rather large dent his fall had made into the rock floor.

"Oooh.. that looks like the fall shoulda hurt, but it didn't... I must of hit something soft on the way down... but, if I did, I wouldn't of made such a deep impression here... Heh.. My corny jokes are sometimes even too lame for me..."

Bubba looked around for something else to do. He saw a stump a short ways off, and he challenged himself to run up to it from here and whack it whith his axe. He took off at a slow run toward the stump, and was neatly on course, then when he got to the stump, he swung, and missed... Bubba stopped to think about this for a little bit...

"Well if I can't hit a stump, what chance do I have at hitting a goblin accurately? I guess the best thing for me would be to practice attacking this stump. Gee this is embarrasing..."

Bubba then got to work of chopping at the stump. His discovery of why it was so hard for him to hit his target earlier was the way he was swinging his axe, and so he developed a couple of new ways for himself to deliver a simple attack more accurately, by giving the axe a slight twist while he was swinging, the inertia would allow it to hit a dodging target easier, but this type of swing was very tiring, so he could only use one or two of those swings at a time before having to rest.

Bubba was starting to feel more confident with his axe now, and he set off across the field looking for another portal, yet he hoped that the enemies would be weaker than the poision moth, because those things could flit away fast! As he approached the portal, he carefully looked around to make sure this would be the only portal, and seeing that the portal was alone, he crept up to it to begin the battle.

Out of the portal sprung four Mad Grass, and Bubba almost dropped his axe in surprise, but he quickly realized that if he was to win, he would have to pick them off somehow, so he ran away from the Mad Grass, and they predictably gave chase, but he knew he couldn't outrun them for long, so he dashed behind a large pile of rocks and climbed up them a bit. Since the Mad Grass are truly unable to look up, they floundered about the base of the pile a bit, and then started to head back to where the portal was, one by one.

When there was only one Mad Grass left, he climbed down, and snuck up behind it, but he didn't attack. When the Mad Grass finally realized he was there, it spun around and began to bite and scratch, but Bubba was ready, and he jammed his axe forward like a spear, and cut the grass in half. Then Bubba collected some rocks and placed them into his pouch before he snuck away to fight the rest of the Mad Grass.

Finally he came back around to where the Mad Grass were, and just as they started to charge at him, he threw a buch of the stones at the mad grass, and managed to down one. The other two had taken slight damage from the stones, but now Bubba only had two stones left, and the grass dodged them easily, to begin the chase again. This time, instead of running, bubba ran forward and swung with the flat of his axe, to ensure that he would hit at least one, and walloped the stunned Grass with the axe again, when....

CHOMP!!
"OOUUUCCHH!!! YOU $$ MAD GRASS!!"
He completely forgot about the axe, and swung hard with his fist, flinging the mad grass quite a ways off, and it landed with a CRUNCH! Which startled Bubba into just realizing what he had done.

"Wha..? So that means, I can hit harder with my fists than with an axe? No.. that isn't it... I'm just more used to using my fists to punch, than I am used to swinging this axe still."

So Bubba continued on with his training.

Bubba - May 17, 2003 03:48 AM (GMT)
A thought crossed Bubba's mind as he became bored with his current training session, what was in the large quarry?
Bubba made up his mind and decided to check it out himself, but he also didn't want any battles to happen along the way, so he started walking cautiously toward the quarry.

It took a long time, but he finally arrived at the edge of the quarry, and when he looked down, there were many portals along a trail to the bottom of the quarry, but as he looked further into the pit, he saw something that made him shiver... There was a HUGE portal sitting at the very bottom of this spiraling quarry.

Bubba was interested to find out what was in the big portal, but he was also scared of what might come out, because standing on the edge of the quarry, he got a good look at the size difference between the portals...

Suddenly, he heard something behind him, but it was too late, a wandering Poision Moth had slammed into him, and sent him rolling down the slope right to the big portal......

And with horror, as if in slow-motion, Bubba watched the creature emerge from the portal, it was tall, red,and scaly.... It was a VIRAL DRAGON......

Bubba was so terrified at this that he ran out of the battle zone at full tilt, flattening all of the Mad Grass, Goblins, and Poision Moths that got in his way!....
He didn't stop to look back, because he heard it coming up out of the quarry...

Bubba wanted to get away fast, so he Gated Out..

But, he came back feeling a gulity responsibility to try to warn, or help, anyone who might encounter the VIRAL DRAGON which was now loose in the battlefield...

For the only thing any of us can do right now, is RUN whenever we see it coming! But, a large enough group, with enough brains and brawn between them may be enough to hold the DRAGON back... for now...

Bubba - May 18, 2003 09:47 PM (GMT)
"Yeah.. um... I'm Bubba, a Heavy Axenam, and I don't care who's in a party, cause I think, "the more the merrier", so basically, I just like to be in a party!" Said bubba as he sat down. Then he began to think about things...

Bubba surveyed the field slowly and calmly... In all the excitement, he had forgot about something.. something important... but what was it?
As he glanced around some more, his eyes locked onto the quarry... and suddenly he remembered.... but where was the VD?... The VD was not on the field as far as he could see, had it gone into the mountain? Or had it gone into the dungeon at the bottom of the VIRAL QUARRY?...
Now Bubba was a little bit nervous, but as long as the horizon can be seen in all directions, his party was safe, and could gate-out if it happened to come back... but something told him that the VD wasn't on the field, but rather, in the back of one of the two strange dungeons in this level.... why this was, he could not tell worth beans... ,so he calmed down and listened to the rest of the introductions.

Bubba - May 18, 2003 10:57 PM (GMT)
"Mabye we should save the rest of our introductions untill later." said Bubba suddenly.
(ooc. When evryone involved is in active status or something.)
He got up and looked around at the field.

"Umm... something tells me that we might not have much longer to clear this field in safety... so I think we should do what we can here, and mabye check out one of the dungeons here... but I have to tell you, they seem pretty wierd." said Bubba, as he was looking around the field once more.

"Well, I personally think we should be off to the quarry, before we even try that mountain.." said Bubba in reference to the dungeons.

Bubba - May 18, 2003 11:48 PM (GMT)
"Umm.. well, it was at the bottom of the quarry and it seems to have made it's home in the mountain over there, but I'm not sure how long it'll stay there... umm..."
((Bubba feels a yank to go towards the quarry soon))

"Umm... what was it you ask? Well... ehh... it happened to be a HUGE dragon, and not just any... It was one of the infamous VIRAL DRAGONS.... yeesh, talk about bad luck...

Well how I knew what it was was that I went to the CC site and looked up all the high-powered monsters currently available online... and that thing... well it just... happened to be at the top of that list..... um... it has around.... 99,999 HP according to the site...

And I think it's making its move in this general direction... so... the quarry's dungeon entrance is too small for it to fit into, so unless you are gating out, that would be the safest place for now... but I think I read that it will follow you if you gate out to different levels rapidly, instead of finishing the levels they're found in... but that seems to just be a rumor now...

But if we don't get going... we may discover wether this info is truly a rumor or not..." He says while glancing toward the mountain.

Bubba - May 19, 2003 01:39 AM (GMT)
"Umm.. Is that the rest of the goblins?.... umm... where's Rydiaaaa....... uh-oh..... she's about to make our dungeon trip a lot harder!....!!" Exclamed Bubba when he saw her creeping up to one of the newly-created, moving portals in the distance.

Bubba - May 19, 2003 02:25 AM (GMT)
(OOC. Mummy Ripper    ?! My Char was around level 10 or so when I was defeated by one of them... I might have that level wrong but it was some where around there...)

"Ehh... can we take them on?... well... yes, if we had enough healing potions and magic... mabye even a mage's soul would be handy, but I don't think we have any of those... so we'd better run... or we'll more than likely find ourselves ghosting out of here  .... I could be wrong. But either way, I'm kinda scared by this challenge. :o

Bubba - May 19, 2003 02:37 AM (GMT)
" Ahem... If we wish to survive, I suggest we somehow pick-off the enemies one-by-one, for I think that each of these monsters alone would be a huge challenge to our low-level party!... so... ummm how can we trick them into separating... they may be digitized monsters, but that doesn't always mean they're smart... Hey!... mabye we can throw these rocks at them to weaken them slightly from a distance! That's my favorite technique whenever I'm outmatched.. or...

mabye we could get inside this house... the entrance is soo small only one monster could enter at a time... !!! That just might be it!!... I hope the door opens!..." Bubba runs over to the house's door, and twists the handle a couple of times, but it won't open, but Bubba isn't out of ideas yet, he backs up a few meters and charges at the door..... ==> SMASH!! the door flew open!! Bubba carefully looked inside.

"Heeeyy... whaddya know! There's full plumbing and everything in here!... eh... oops...no time for distractions!!" Bubba said as he rushed into the house.

Bubba - May 19, 2003 04:06 AM (GMT)
(OOC: We had been backed-up against one of the houses that normally appear on certain battlefields... Ummm Rydia... I also had an "offline" problem, but not because of electricity, more like "family sharing".)

After Bubba had pounded a couple of enemies back, he took another glance about the room... "OOHHH!! FRYING PANS!!" He exclaimed when he saw what was hanging above the stoves, so he went over and pulled one off, and then, he tested it by swinging it around a bit.

"Heh, heh, heh, heh, I love using frying pans like this!", he said as he quickly thwarted a monster's entry with a ::CLANG:: ::BANG:: ::BOWOWNG:: , "Frying Pans to the rescue!!" he exclaimed as he clobbered the monsters with the resonating pan.

"OOhh.. an added bonus! These pans appear to be of a super-hardened steel!" ::CLANG::

Bubba - May 19, 2003 04:33 AM (GMT)
Bubba nudges Kaze and Zero. "Umm... wasn't Rydia IN FRONT of the monsters?..... E-gadds! Must have been a game glitch... or something else strange...??"

Bubba - May 19, 2003 05:04 AM (GMT)
Rydia walks into the house very quiet, possibly because she missed out on all the fun because of some strange glitch. :(

"Hmm... I think Rydia might be slightly dazed by that strange turn of events... hmm.. let's see,... what can I find to cheer her up?..." Bubba walks around inside the house...

"Hey! there's some stairs here!" so he started to climb up to the second floor, where he found a whole bunch of rooms each with a comfy bed and solid locking doors.

"Umm... mabye that's what everybody here needs! A small rest! Now I'm sure the VD won't be coming out, because it can't sense anybody on the battlefield, because the inside of the house isn't a part of the field! Well, nobody owns this house so we can use it all we want, and when we leave it really won't matter."

So Bubba went back down stairs, carefully fixed the front door and suggested the idea of rest to the other members in the group. And after another glance around while the others were still deciding, Bubba went up the stairs and went into the room at the end of the second floor, on the right, and locked the door, then he layed on the bed and took a nap.

Bubba - May 19, 2003 11:33 PM (GMT)
Bubba woke up from his nap and left the bedroom, but he was kinda startled to find himself all alone in the house! He quickly peeked out the windows to see if anybody was going toward one of the dungeons, but it was too late to know this way, so he placed the frying pan in his pack, and headded out toward the VIRAL QUARRY dungeon first, since it was the weaker of the two dungeons. So Bubba trudged along to the edge of the quarry, but when he looked down, he saw that the quarry dungeon's seal had not been broken, which means... nobody went there...

But if nobody went to the quarry dungeon, Bubba thought, then they went to where the VIRAL DRAGON had made its lair... inside the mountain dungeon... wauaaa.... this could be reeeeeaaally bad, bad, bad!!! So he turned around, and ran toward the dungeon full speed, not caring about his balance! His running path looked like a sine wave, but it was a fast one, considering he was tilted forward, and gravity was accelerating his body forward, so it looked almost as if he had cast Ap Do on himself, but the image was quickly dissipated when he tripped on a stone and rolled the rest of the way to the mountain under pure inertia...
(ooc. Heh... gotta love those physics generators! HEH!)

He stopped when his rolling self slammed into the side of the mountain, and he just sat there stunned and extremely dizzy for a little bit, before he carefully got up and shook himself off. When he was finally able to look around and notice where he was, he gawked at the distance he had been rolling... which was about 50 meters or so... and he startled quickly and checked his health... sure enough, that rough tumble had taken out a little over half his health, which explained why he felt so tired. But instead of taking another nap, he cast REPTH on himself, ahh.. all better he thought, but then he remembered that he was folowing the party, so he went into the mountain after them.

Rounding a corner while he was rushing, a goblin startled him before he could react, and he flattened the goblin into a pancake when he fell on it... "Why do I keep doing these things...?... That sure isn't a way to get any exp, I should think.." Bubba said aloud as he turned a corner, but the room was already emptied of portals, so he ran across to the next room, which was down a small hallway, when....

"Owww!!" exclaimed Kaze as Bubba tripped over him, and Bubba then flopped into the room where everybody was gathered...
"Sorry! I didn't see you!" Bubba apologized.
"Of course you didn't see me! I was using stealth untill you ran over me!" Said an exhasparated Kaze.

"Oh, beautifull, another gracefull entry by Bubba..." said Rydia rolling her eyes...

Bubba - May 19, 2003 11:53 PM (GMT)
(ooc. go easy on the item findings! If you don't we might just get a lousy hairball from the Gott Statue! I think for every 5 items found, the Gott goodies weaken... oh.. I turn off my signature to "save" page space, so less scrolling is needed.)

Bubba had just recovered from his first collision with Kaze, that he couldn't help but laugh nervously when he fell on Rydia...

Bubba - May 20, 2003 02:25 AM (GMT)
"Cha... well... I don't think I'm much good at leading a party, but... I'll never know untill I try... Hey, has anybody seen one of the paths to the outside? Umm there are hordes of slightly discolored moving portals out there... and because this dungeon is the second of two here, the monsters that come out of those portals should be expected to be fierce enough to make the last big group we released on the field to seem like pushovers.... even though those were very challenging already..." Bubba said breaking from his path of speech to look around the cave a bit.

"Hey.. this isn't a polygonal room like how most of the maps I've seen show.... this place looks more like a real cave... but if that's so, then we should have a grand time exploring the place!" Bubba said excitedly "Now that I can see this place more clearly, I'd like to see what it has in store!" And as he said this, he walked out of the room through a western exit, and peered down the twisting chambers that opened up into large rooms. The portals seemed to be about the only thing here that looked the same as always. So he looked around some more for traces of light in any of the caverens, being very careful not to activate any portals until the rest of the party got there, cause it isn't fun for Bubba to battle alone. Eventually he saw a bunch of tunnels leading out onto the surface of the mountain, and Bubba wanted to sneak outside to explore it better when a yellow portal with some greenish runes crosed the entrance of the cave, which made Bubba hesitant about exploring the surface alone. So Bubba turned around and headed back to the party, but the way back wasn't as easy... a pannel had slid across his original route, and a new route had opened, :( so gathering his courage, he took the only route that was left, and came out on an alclove overlooking where the rest of the party was gathered  :D .

"Uh.. Hi peoplez! This mountain seems to be full of switching routes, so we'd better be careful not to get separated from each other, unless you like fighting battles without backup!" said Bubba.

----------------------------------------------------informatioin----------------------------------------------------
(ooc. How does a quest take 7 pages or more? EASY! All you really need is an adventure with an obviously far away goal, and to add onto that, you take a group of eager typers to handle the way the adventure goes, and if the goal stays intriguing long enough, it will be able to go on.... Besides that, we still have to explore the outside of the mountain, the strange house, and the mysterious porch.... mabye even more! I don't know when this adventure will end, but I hope it will be exciting and adventurous to the very end!.... Ok... mabye I boost this board's appearance more than what's actually here, but if you read the whole adventure, you'd know what I'm writing about... uh-oh...I babbled on again :o  ;) ^_^ )
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bubba had pulled a bunch of large loose stones from the wall of the cave, then he chucked a couple of them like footballs at the sneaky Dust Curse, walloping it hard all over the place. Concerned about Zero, Bubba took another pile of large rocks, and threw them at the sneaky Dust Curse untill it finally collapsed, but in the meantime, the other Dust Curse had gotten back up, and started to move forward again, but their actions were cut short by yet another wave of magical attacks, wich finally collapsed the group of Dust Curse for good.

After the Curses were taken care of, Bubba hurried over to where Zero had fallen.
"Awww... puutt..... Does anybody have a Resurrect on them? Either Zero fainted from magic overuse or... his health was eliminated..."
Bubba checked Zero's status, and it had shown that the combination of stress and large amounts of magic release had caused Zero to black out when he was whacked by the Dust Curse.

"Yep.. he fainted from magic overuse... cause his health is still intact, and he still had plenty of magic left, but his body wasn't used to handling such large amounts of offense-based magic in such a short time, so he shoud be coming around in a little while." Bubba said while he casted REPTH on Zero.

Bubba - May 20, 2003 11:29 PM (GMT)
(ooc. I guess Vash can come along on the next one! I really don't think anybody else here would object... well as far as I know...)

Bubba scratched his head and looked at Rydia's blades saying, "Need some soap there? Cause I don't have any... mabye Kaze does.... umm... what's this?"

Bubba had his hands in his pockets while he said this and when he finished he grabbed something in one of his pockets and, to Kaze's suprise, he pulled out Kaze's item pack.

"............???? !!!!!!! what the?!?!???! How did I?.... nevermind..." He said sheepishly putting it on the ground.

Then Kaze was curious, and he reached into his own pocket, and pulled out Bubba's item pack......
Both Bubba and Kaze stared at each other in confused silence, then they walked over to each other and traded back the appropriate bags.

Zero - May 18, 2003 01:45 AM (GMT)
As Zero emerges from the golden ring he saw some shadow in the distance so he approached them with caution. Then as he got towards them he notice that one of them was a heavy axemen, another was a twin blade and the last was a wavemaster.

"And I thought that you guys was someone who I could who I could battle with."

Then as he walked toward them he looked at all of them and wonder if any of them was in a party.

"I guess if I want to fight anyone I would probably have follow some people. So could I join you guys while you explore the World.

Zero - May 18, 2003 02:59 AM (GMT)
After Zero saw them ran by he got mad really quickly. He wonder what was their problems. Then as ran up towards them a portal open up and a goblin jumped out.

"Hey you guys let me handle this one."

Then as he ran toward the goblin he smash the goblin with his wand. The goblin flew in the air for a while then crash to towards the ground. Then he walked toward the longarm.

Then he walked over toward the group and extended his hand.

"Hi my name is Zero. Sorry I didn't say anything at first."

Then as he said those words the goblin hoped up then he cast a spell.

"Gan Don. Well I guess my attacks aren't that strong yet. Why do they think they are going."

He watch Tokki and Rydia walk off.

Zero - May 18, 2003 09:07 PM (GMT)
As Zero saw everyone walk off he was a little upset. He ran up to ctach up to the rest of the group.

"How could you guys leave me like that. I told you that wanted to join your party. Now why couldn't be involved with fight."

As he followed the he wanted to asked them a question.

"Why don't you guys anwser me. You guys think I'm weak don't you."

Zero - May 18, 2003 09:30 PM (GMT)
"Well I guess I go next since no one else will. My name is Zero and I level 1 too and I a wavemaster."

As he looked around he saw everyone relaxed. Then he looked toward Rydia and smile a bit.

"I guess this was a good a idea to sit here for a while."

Zero - May 18, 2003 11:08 PM (GMT)
Then Zero got up and faced the quarry.

"Yeah that might be a good idea. I think that what we need to do exactly. It also be good if we could get in some experience before we go towards the mountain. Rydia in reference to your question I have don't really have the slightest idea. What about you Bubba?" He said as he looked towards the rest of the group.

Zero - May 18, 2003 11:29 PM (GMT)
"I lead if you want, but we still need to get away from this place so we won't get burned out."
Then as he faced towards everyone.
"What is everyone waiting for? Didn't you just hear Kaze?"

Zero - May 19, 2003 12:15 AM (GMT)
"Kaze is right you guys. Let get out of."
Then Zero ran after Kaze. As Zero he caught up to him he saw Bubba, and the rest of the gang caught up with them.
"Well it about you guys caught up to us."

Zero - May 19, 2003 12:45 AM (GMT)
Well I been waiting on a chance like this since I started playing this game, but I got to take this serious.

Then as they heard Kaze order everyone lined up as Kaze said. Then as the goblins advanced towards them a couple of things raced through Zero mind.

Man I wish we didn't have to do this on such a low level. Well this is the only way to gain levels.

Then Zero casted his Gan Don and the Goblin flew back into some of the Goblins. Then the one that Zero took out just layed on the ground while the others kept advancing towards them.

Zero - May 19, 2003 01:01 AM (GMT)
"Well here goes nothing."

As Zero recharge Kaze, Bubba tried his best to fight off the rest of the goblin. Once he got through he was totally useless for the moment so he ran back towards the quarry. He didn't go to far because he knew that they would need him soon.

Zero - May 19, 2003 02:20 AM (GMT)
Then Zero looked around for the nearest rock formation but the only one he could find was the one Kaze was on. So he ran towards the hill.
"Kaze I'm going to be out for a while unless Rydia is really slow because of the lose Sp"
As they stood there they saw Bubba slowly running towards the hill.
"Kaze do you know where Bubba is so slow when he should be much faster.

Zero - May 19, 2003 02:47 AM (GMT)
That is a good idea Zero ran towards the house while being followed by more monsters. Then to get some of the monster of his back he smashed his wand into one of the monster to get rid of it. Then as he got closer to the house the monster got up unhurt.
"Man that was stupid. Now I have made it even madder."
Once Zero got into the house he waited with Bubba.

Zero - May 19, 2003 03:06 AM (GMT)
Then Zero stepped outside the door. Then he raise his wand and began to cast his spell on the group of monsters that fell down.
"Gan Don!" Zero yelled as the spell took effect.
Then the monsters that fell disappear and Zero ran back into the house.
"Hey you know what that was pretty effective. If once of you could do that again I could get rid of the rest of them. So who next."
As Zero stared at the them the rest of the monsters came closer.

Zero - May 19, 2003 05:58 PM (GMT)
Well since only Bubba and Zero was in the house it was quite boring. So Zero got and walked out the door. As he looked out he wonder where everyone had went. Then he remember something that everyone was going to do.

"Oh yeah! Everyone said that we would be going to the dungeon next so that must be where everyone is. Well I don't think it was very nice for everyone to leave me like that though."

Then as he ran after them to catch up a portal open upand a goblin and two snakoids came out.

"Man this really isn't my day. First those moving portals and now this. Oh well this is the best way to gain XP."

Then as Zero stood in his battle stance he monsters charged him as they came at he got a small smile on his face as if he was about to enjoy this battle. Once the first one got towards he dodge it but the second and third monster hit him dead on. As he flew back then the smile faded away and he got serious. As he raised he his wand then he casted his spell.

"Gan Don!" The young wavemaster yelled said.

Then the ground dropped then he monster fell towards the ground. Then once they got up Zero cast Gan Don twice to get rid of them.

"Now, which way was I going? Oh yeah, towards the dungeon."

Then as he started back toward the dungeon he saw the dungeon enterance. Then he started to get a little happier.

"Well, at least I can find everyone now."

Then he had remember the damage he had gained and cast Repth on himself. Then as he waited for a while to gained his Sp but thought he would be more useful in the dungeon with the other. Then as he enter he heard sound on down inside. So as he follow what he heard he came up to a two shadows in the dungeon. Before he enter any futher he put his wand in front of him to make sure he was protected.

Zero - May 20, 2003 01:42 PM (GMT)
"Well it looks like we got in over our heads this time, but we might as well learn from this experience."

Then Zero raise his wand and cast Gan Don on the 5 Dust Curse lowing there Hp. Then once he saw them get again he was a little surprised to see that sight. Then he panic for a while but then remember to keep his cool head. Then as he casted his spell again he spell again and as the attack hit he saw only 4 of Dust Curse down on the ground.

"Well I must be to strong for them."

Then as Zero was about to cast his spell the Dust Curse that was missing snuck up behind Zero and attacked him. As Zero felled to the he didn't move.

Finally, a chance to fight, thought Tokki as she gated into a randomly generated keyword.

She looked down at herself, and began to smile, impressed with the way she looked today. After gazing at herself from the chest down for a while, she began to get a feel of her iron spear. Tossing it left and right and spinning it between each hand, she realized it was much like what she used to train with, only a bit heavier with a very sturdy metal blade at the end-- no doubt for slashing away at the vicioius enemies that could be found in these fields. Looking up after getting used to the blade, she glanced down the field for the magic portals that she had been told to locate when attempting a battle. Noticing one, she bounded off, keeping her mind clear and ready for a battle. She had no clue what kind of horrible enemies to expect after all. As she neared the portal, a bright light bursted from within it, making it seem like an explosion.

Her eyes narrowed, teeth gritting in suspense. The explosion didn't even have an effect on her surroundings, and she supposed it was just a generated effect. Out from the portal's explosion came two small goblins, and a creature that looked like an oversized moth. She readied herself for these foes, but was astonished at how fast these critters could maneuver. Not shifting her confidence, she spun her long polearm between her arms before pushing off the ground with one foot, and launching into the air over the moth. Her balance was akward, however-- she was not used to fighting like this. The blade was spun around her waist from the left to the right, and then spun forward hard at the top of the moth as she hit the peak of her jump. The end of the spear managed to slice the moth clear down the front, inflicting a good amount of damage.

A satisfactory facial expression spread across her face-- she could feel the burning smile beam out from her, emanating from her pride. She always had potential in anything that had to do with fighting. As she landed however, she felt a sharp object pang at her back, sending her jerking forward in pain. Quickly turning around, she swung her iron spear out at whoever might have been her attacker, when the blade caught a goblin who had been coming at her from the side in the chin. On the follow through, she had missed her initial attacker, but regained enough momentum in the opposite direction to follow up with another swing at the same goblin she had hit. Still dazed from the critical blow to his face, he was unable to dodge the iron spear a second time, and the final blow made his body disappear. Hearing the high-pitched shriek from the other goblin, she managed to jump back before the brunt of his attack could strike her, though not to prevent his weapon from hitting her arm. Yelling out a random curse about how fast they were, she swung her blade hard at his chest, sending it into him with full force, and grounding him under the weight of her blade. After the goblin disappeared, she fell to the ground, placing her hand over the place where his weapon had hit her arm.

Suddenly, she heard a huffing and puffing, as well as feet pounding into the grass from behind her. As the footsteps halted, her blade lifted high at the neck of her approacher, stopping at the surface to hault him for questioning.

Who are you?

All she got in response was a lot of heavy breathing, and some mumbled words.

I..*huff-puff*..can't. Come...*huff-puff*.. dungeon...too strong...*huff-puffy*..red scales everywhere and... GAH!, splurted out Bubba in exasperation.

Uh.... you should probably start making sense talking to someone. I didn't pick up anything from what you just said.

The axeman was strangely shaped, and seemed to be having trouble keeping himself upright. Between his choked gasps, I managed to pick up the words "come", "dungeon". I decided I'd wait until this guy said what he wanted to say, and then decide on my path. It couldn't hurt.

Megami - May 17, 2003 03:42 PM (GMT)
Finally the axeman managed to choke out his words, letting Tokki know that he could use her help in the dungeon below. Though she preferred not to work with any guys this early on in her depression, she figured it wouldn't hurt, as these weren't real. Furthermore, she could get some experience and get used to fighting with this more heavy version of a polearm.

At that, she peered down at the weapon she caressed in her hands. With a quick motion, she tossed it into the air as hard as she could, letting out a soft grunt. With the sleek movements of a cat, she grasped a pair of gloves that were hanging to her side attached to her bright orange belt. In mid motion, she slipped the pair of palm gloves on, her delicate fingers still exposed, and swiped the still falling spear out of the sky. Her quickness must have struck a chord with the axeman in front of her, as he was gaping at her noticeably.

Well, either you've never seen a girl this close up before, or you liked that.

A quick glance over the axeman told her that the first part wasn't completely impossible.

"No, I... It's just... wait... what level are you?" sputtered out the axeman.

She raised a brow, and then a small grin spread across her face. She loved complements. Even if they were unintentional and from a clumsy axeman.

Actually, I'm level 1.

The axeman facevaulted. Obviously he was overreacting, but that was just fine. It made her feel a lot better. She quickly got over his flattery, however. Something was different. Closing her eyes, she made out footsteps coming their way. A quick spin to her right placed another warrior in front of her, who obviously was suffering from a low self-esteem. He stood there, twiddling his fingers and playing with his hands while managing to get out an almost pitiful request of companionship. Since she knew that the axeman would have taken a few minutes to respond, she figured she'd answer for him.

Sure, the more the merrier, I supposed. Just promise me you'll not be useless.

A rhetorical question. She turned back in the direction that the wobbly axeman came from. Noticing the large quarry in the distance, she bounded off in that direction. After some distance, she skidded to stop. There were released monsters swarming the area. Gritting her teeth, she turned back to the axeman.

WHAT DID YOU DO!?

"I.. I fell down," the axeman responded sheepishly.

*GRRRR!!!*, the only response from her as she turned back to the flurry of goblins and swordmanoids headed her way, COME ON!!

The two party members wouldn't ignore a females voice so determined and forceful as that. They drew their weapons, and charged the fray.

Tokki charged one of the goblins, when another one from behind her target sprang upwards, diving at her from above. With a quick motion, she rolled to her right, moving from the attack. Her newest additions both swung their weapons at the jumping goblin, hoping to hit it. One of them did, as the goblin not only took a hard blow, but it flew backwards into Tokki's initial target.

Jumping up again, she turned back toward the other two goblins that were advancing. She spun her spear in her hands, and turned toward it, slashing at the first one with an unrivaled ferocity. It raised its blade, yet still was knocked backwards with the force of its blow. Spinning with her momentum, she brought her blade to the second one, jabbing the backside of her spear into the side of his face, grounding him hard.

She sprung forward, planting one foot on the fallen goblin she had just attacked, and pushing upwards from it. She came down near a swordmanoid, slashing the bladed part of her iron spear into his chest. As she landed however, the goblin she had knocked back swung upwards at her, slashing the leather vest's side with his blade. She felt that. Stumbling right, she hit the ground with a thud. Looking up at her attacker, she thrust her foot upwards into his stomach, stunning him. She scrambled up, only to meet eyes with a swinging swordmanoid. She saw the blade coming at her.

*TWANG*

She opened her eyes to see the flatside of Bubba's axe. The swordmanoids blade had struck it instead of severing her head. As the axe was pulled back, she thrust her spear forwards, impaling the swordmanoid. To her left, she noted that Chaos had handled the goblin she was going after.

Thank you, Bubba.

She didn't leave him a chance to respond, but she bounded off towards the rest of the monsters Bubba had released during his tumble into the quarry.
