Title: Outpouring Solitary Tri Pansy
Description: Solo Quest

Asura - July 7, 2003 06:18 PM (GMT)
Asura logs into the World, his body phasing into the world as the yellow rings that descended around him faded away. He walks down the small stairs near the Chaos Gate of Mac Anu, each step seeming to echo within his mind as he contemplates what had recently happened. Letting himself move without conscious thought, he sits down on the railing of the bridge, letting the wind blow across his face and cloak, looking at the ripples of the waves, deep in thought with his back turned to the bridge.
-----------------
"You! You must be one of those hackers! Well if two hackers are here, that must mean even more treasure at the bottom of this dungeon. Or at least more important treasure!" Even as Asura speaks, he points his Corpseblade at Adaron, getting some more distance from the hacker, slowly stepping towards the dungeon's entrance. As he backs away from Adaron and the rest of them, he loses his balance on the ground, slipping and falling into the mud, splashing it onto his cloak and pants again.
-------------------
Suddenly, a party of players running towards the Chaos Gate crowds the bridge, one of the many players elbowing Asura in the back. Losing his loose sense of balance on the bridge, he falls into the river with a splash. Quickly swimming to the edge of a small dock, Asura curses his luck, shaken out of his thoughts by the ice cold water. He pulls himself over the edge, wondering what sort of inconsiderate player would do that sort of thing, glaring in the direction of the bridge he had once stood on. Taking off his cloak, he sits on a box of items, probably for the item stores, trying to wring some of the water from his cloak, sending threads of water to splash onto the stone beneath him.

The sound of footsteps enters Asura’s hearing, sending him quickly behind a box to hide before he even realized what he was doing. Before moving from his hiding spot behind the boxes, he starts listening to the conversation. Taking a small, but risky, peek around the boxes, he sees a Wavemaster and Heavy Blade sit down onto another box, glancing around to make sure nobody else is around.

“Hey... what do you think was with that dungeon?” A deep guttural voice asks his partner, most likely the Heavy Blade talking to his partner the Wavemaster. “We started getting deeper into that dungeon and those enemies started getting a bit weird.”

“Maybe it’s an event,” a less harsh voice, probably from the Wavemaster, replies, pausing a bit before continuing his sentence. “I heard that there was a rare items there, so maybe those enemies were just event enemies, like that One Sin event.”

“Well either way we had to use a Sprite Ocarina and Gate Out thanks to those monsters…” the Heavy Blade laments, pounding his fist into the box in frustration. “Well for all I know, I’m not going to Outpouring Solitary Tri Pansy again. I’m logging out for now… talk to you later.”

“Sure… I think I’ll log out for now as well.” The Wavemaster replies, both of them disappearing within yellow rings, sending a faint glowing light around the damp, dimly lit dock.

Hearing nothing else, Asura checks back around the corner to make sure they were both gone. Sitting back on top of an item box, he notes the keywords he heard in his head, ready to go to that dungeon in order to get a rare item for his inventory. Pulling himself up, still slightly dripping, he looks around to see where he is in comparison to the Chaos Gate. Finding nothing to really help him find that out, he mutters a bit under his breath and gets to work walking around Mac Anu until he finds something he recognizes.

Asura - July 7, 2003 06:21 PM (GMT)
Finally finding his way back to the main market of Mac Anu, Asura wonders how he got lost in Mac Anu in the first place. Glancing around at all the people going to buy food and goods, he tries forcing his way through the crowd, tripping and stumbling quite a bit in his attempt. He stumbles out of the crowd of item buying people and calmly walks towards the Chaos Gate over the bridge. Almost as soon as he starts acting calm, he trips forward as his foot hits a loose stone, only keeping himself upright thanks to the railing of the bridge. Glaring back at the offending stone, he turns around and continues walking towards the Chaos Gate.

Taking a moment to look into the spinning Chaos Gate, he raises his right hand into the air, pointing the palm inwards at the gateway into other worlds. He yells out loud, ignoring the other people around him, “Outpouring Solitary Tri Pansy!” echoes throughout the small area of the Chaos Gate, as yellow rings descend around him, phasing his body out of Mac Anu on his journey to the field.

The World around Asura turns into a bleak, dark empty wasteland as he is transported through the false reality towards the field. With a sudden jolt, he is tossed into the field, crashing into the ground, cushioned by grass and twigs and dead leaves. He pulls himself up, glancing around the lush forest field, looking at it great, towering trees and beautiful, exotic flowers, wondering how such a thing exists in the World in comparison to the bleak, empty fields he’s been to. Birds call from the depths of the forest, a large path leading into the forest, beckoning players deeper into its depths, to search for the dungeon’s entrance.

Pulling himself into a dash, Asura heads rapidly down the path, boots crushing the branches and leaves beneath him noisily. Distracted by the beauty of the area, his foot catches on a vine beneath him, sending him spiraling forward along the path into a wide open area. His body slides forward towards a glowing yellow light, triggering it. Realizing that in his haste he had accidentally triggered a magic portal, he pulls his sword in front of him, waiting to see what it releases. As the portal fades away, two swarms of bees appear out of nowhere, the menacing buzzing scaring away everything nearby, echoing in the silence.

The swarms dive at Asura, aiming to sting at his flesh with their poisonous barbs, he quickly sweeps his sword out in front of him, slicing away a few of the deadly bees before shuffling back away from their attack. His foot catches on a tree root, causing him to trip as the other swarms sweeps pasts him, buzzing sound echoing in his ears. Asura quickly brings up his sword in an upwards sword, slicing through the group of bees again, then dives to the side as the swarm attempts to attack him. Pulling himself up to his feet, he readies himself against the charge, channeling his energy into the Corpseblade.

“VAK SLASH!” he yells, as the sword fills itself with the element, the slash powering through the enemies in a diagonal slash, killing off a good deal of the swarm. He immediately follows through with another downwards diagonal slice from the opposite direction, letting the bees drop dead to the ground, turning monochromatic and fading into the endless stream of data.

Even as the first Bee Army dies, the second had been preparing its spell, Duk Lei. Asura coughs as poisonous gases suddenly appear around him, trying his hardest not to breathe in the noxious fumes. However, the deadly smog seeps into his body, slowly draining away at his health. He dashes forward at the swarm, trying to ignore the pain flowing through his entire body. Gathering in some more of the remaining SP he has, he raises his sword into the air, channeling in some SP. Energy crackles along the blade as Asura prepares his technique.

“VAK SLASH!” he yells, the blade igniting aflame as it sweeps down in a crossing slice at the Bee Army. The blade passes through most of the bees, the flames killing those that were missed by the initial attacks but forced to stay with the swarm. The dead bees fall to the ground, turning grey before breaking up into a hundred shards of data. Asura grins a bit, looking as they fade away before falling to his knees.

Asura pulls himself over to a tree, leaning against it for support as he battles the poison coursing through his veins. Each time the poison draws near killing him, he uses his remaining strength to cast Repth, refilling his body with strength. The sound of birds replaces the buzzing sensation that had remained after fighting the two swarms, a replacement much enjoyed by him. He lets his mind drift; only shaking himself out of it each time the body needs another Repth to fight off the poison. He thinks of the hacked Wavemaster, the battles he had faced, and the battles he will face. He forces himself to his feet after a time, casting one last Repth after the poison fades away, no longer to trouble him.

He returns to dashing along the path, hoping that his time he’s lucky enough to not trip into a portal. To his surprise, the path ends at an entrance leading down into a cave. Grinning a bit, realizing that it must be the entrance to the dungeon, he dashes down it, hoping to be able to reach the Gott statue quickly and be able to get the treasure from within it. The sound of his boots echo on the stairway into the stone cave, fading away as he disappears within its depths.

Asura - July 7, 2003 06:23 PM (GMT)
Asura dashes into the cave, quickly glancing around it, wondering how such a thing was carved into the ground. Water drips down the stalagmites, dripping onto the floor in front of him as he immediately heads towards the entrance into the next room. Tree roots dangle overhead from the ceiling, looking like vines, crossing back and forth, in and out of the ceiling. His boots kick up dirt and dust as he runs through the cave into the next room.

Almost immediately upon entering the next room, Asura notices the glowing yellow magic portal in front of him. He slowly walks towards it, hoping not to trip as much as he usually does. Almost as if cursed, he trips on a small stalagmite, triggering the portal. The portal glows even brighter then before, spreading light across the small, torch lit room. From within the infinite depths of portal came two monsters. One was a giant stone head, a Fiend Menhir, smashing craters into the ground as it came from out of the depths of the portal. The other was a strange, floating sword and shield, a Dust Curse. Both start moving towards Asura, ready to rip him apart with their combined power.

Asura quickly dashes at the Fiend Menhir, remembering how annoying they are from his previous encounters with them. He swings his Corpseblade down at its tough stone skin, surprised when only a small crack and a few chips appear for his trouble, the force of his blow causing his sword to rebound back a bit. He stumbles back away from the Fiend Menhir, only to feel the blade of the Dust Curse slash across his back, sending him forward again, staggering in pain. The Fiend Menhir raises itself up in order to crush Asura, its shadow covering him. He quickly rolls to the side, narrowly avoiding the crushing stone head, still trying to ignore the pain spreading throughout his back.

The Dust Curse’s sword comes again at Asura, narrowly missing as he hops onto its blade, using the force to propel himself over it and towards the Fiend Menhir. He raises his sword above his head, bringing it down on the animated stone, causing another crack to split down its center, part of its upper body cracking and crumbling. His sword sticks in the crack, allowing him to pull himself upon its back where the Fiend Menhir can’t get him and its friend can’t as well. Pulling his sword back out once mounted on the demon, he thrusts the blade down through the crack, blade crashing deeper into it, setting a crack that travels through the mammoth beast. Asura jumps off its back as it crumbles into two pieces, disappearing into the data.

Now left with only the Dust Curse to deal with, Asura spins around to face it, narrowly blocking its animated sword with his own Corpseblade. He navigates his blade around his opponents, driving the blade into the Dust Curse’s shield, leaving a small dent in its center as he attempts to force it through. Shuffling back quickly, Asura feels the blade of the Dust Curse slash across his chest, complementing the wound he already has on his back. Using up a bit of his SP, he raises his sword into the air, flames covering the length of the shining blade.

“VAK SLASH!” he yells, quickly swinging the blade at the Dust Curse’s shield again from one diagonal, traveling down its length. The blade cuts a deep gash across the shield, the heat of his blade melting the ends of the shield even as he raises it up for the second slash of the technique. In one quick move, he slashes the blade in the other diagonal to form a cross, the second slash cleaving the shield in two. The shield falls to the ground, the two pieces breaking into four upon impact with the ground. Asura shuffles back away from where the fight had been even as the sword suddenly stops moving, falling and imbedding itself into the ground like a grave marker. Both pieces turn an ashen grey, vanishing into data as suddenly as they came. Asura breathes a sigh of relief, casting Repth on himself once before continuing his run through the caves, searching for the staircase down to the next floor.

Asura - July 7, 2003 06:28 PM (GMT)
Asura charges down the caverns depths, recklessly running through its lengths. Each time he sees a fork in the road, he chooses the right, remembering the Gelsen quest, where Mayko always said the right is always right. He continues to barrel forward through the passages, occasionally tripping on stalagmites poking out from the ground. As he runs continues down the endless passageways, he runs into dead end after dead end, each time getting more frustrated. Finally, after much trial and error, he sees the staircase at the end of the path he was traveling. However, in front of it is a yellow, glowing portal, seeming to taunt him with its position in front of the staircase. He cautiously steps forward towards its light, holding the Corpseblade cautiously in front of him. As he gets closer, he grimaces seeing it slow down, two monstrous beasts being let loose from its depths. One, a giant mushroom, a Mushroom King, looms over him, even as the other, a Fiend Menhir, stomps into the ground leaving behind a crater in its wake.

Asura pushes quickly forward at the Fiend Menhir, hurrying to get rid of it due to its ability to heal its friend. He lunges forward with his Corpseblade at the villainous enemy, grimacing a bit as the shock of impact travels down the blade into his arm, sending him backwards a bit. Chips of stone fall from the Fiend Menhir, reducing a good deal of health from the strike however. He follows through with a quick upwards cut towards the Fiend Menhir, the blade slicing with a screeching sound across its stone, bits of stone falling apart in its wake. He grins a bit, realizing he has an upper hand on the Fiend Menhir right now, taking time to narrowly dodge his opponent’s attack with a taunt. As the Fiend Menhir starts pulling itself from the hole it created, Asura lunges forward with his Corpseblade at the first hole he had created in it. The shockwave sends a surge of pain up his hand, but the Fiend Menhir was almost defeated as the blade lodges itself in. He quickly pulls it back out from the cracking hole, leaping back a bit as he sees a strange blue light engulf the Fiend Menhir.

Suddenly, the bits of stone from the Fiend Menhir rise up from the ground where they had fallen, restoring most of the damage that had been done to it. As Asura looks at the sight in aghast horror, he fails to dodge one of its stomping attacks on time, narrowly trying to dive to the side in time to dodge it. Its hard stone smashes into his leg, the sickening sound of breaking bones echoing in his ears. He tries to ignore the pain, pulling himself away from the monster in a desperate try to stay alive. He pulls a vial from his cloak, quickly drinking down the liquid it contains. As the health drink flows through his body, healing the broken bones and easing the pain, Asura breaths a sigh of relief as he pushes himself to his feet, ready to continue the fight with the accursed Fiend Menhir.

Asura pushes himself to his feet again, holding his Corpseblade up into the air above the mammoth Fiend Menhir. “VAK SLASH!” he yells, swinging the blade across the beast in a diagonal slash. The blade slices across its body, melting its stone surface, letting it drip onto the ground beneath it. Before the Mushroom King has time to cast its La Repth spell, Asura slashes from the opposite direction, slicing a melted cross across it. The weakened structure of stone crumbles to pieces, falling to the floor before disappearing, just as a blue light showers around it, the La Repth just a bit too late for the Fiend Menhir.

Asura quickly turns his attention to the Mushroom King, annoyed by the fact that it had healed the damage he had done at first to the Fiend Menhir. Asura makes a single quick slash at one of its long arms, severing it from the body with an impressive show of the trademark Blademaster skill. Suddenly, blue sparks shower around the Mushroom King, reconnecting its arm to its main body, leaving him stunned at how fast the thing could heal up. The gigantic mushroom sends its other long arm at its opponent, smashing into his chest, sending him rolling backward into one of the walls of the cave.

Asura forces himself to his feet, glaring at the Mushroom King, trying to think of a quick, efficient way to kill it. Unable to come up with any ideas, he blindly rushes back at the Mushroom King, sweeping out the Corpseblade at its midsection. The blade digs into its center, slicing deep into it even as it raises its arms into the air to cast another La Repth. Seeing his chance, he raises his sword into the air, yelling “VAK SLASH!” using up the remainder of his SP. He quickly slashes from the left at the Mushroom King, slashing across its entirety as well as igniting it aflame. Seeing it just about ready to cast its healing spell, Asura swings the blade quickly in the opposite direction, slashing through it in one strike, separating it into four burning pieces that turn into ash and fade away.

Asura sighs a breath of relief and unwilling to wait for his SP to return to him, starts dashing down the hallway towards the staircase at the end. As he runs, carefully avoiding stalactites in the ground, he wonders who could have thought of creating such brilliant ideas for dungeons. Reaching the stairs, he tries to slow himself down; however, he is too late to stop himself from tripping and rolling down the stairs, bumping his head as he falls downwards towards the next floor of the dungeon.

Asura - July 7, 2003 06:29 PM (GMT)
Asura gets up from where he had fallen down into the next floor of his dungeon, rubbing the back of his head as he forces himself to his feet. At first he tries to remember what he had been doing to make his head hurt that much, then he remembers that he ran a bit too fast and tumbled down a staircase. He mumbles a bit under his breath, rubbing the back of his head, wondering why they made those staircases in the first place. Quickly forcing himself back to the task at hand however, he commences dashing down the dungeon’s length, eager to find the treasure that inevitably will lurk in its depths.

After running down countless dead ends through the labyrinth cave, he stumbles across a magical portal. Hoping that the magic portal is a sign that he’s going the right way now, he edges near it, triggering it to shine even brighter then before, causing Asura to cover his eyes a bit before it releases three Dust Curses. He mutters a bit under his breath, holding out his Corpseblade as he prepares to deal with the animated swords, ready to cut them to pieces with his techniques. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he sees what looks like another player in the corner of view, vanishing only as he feels a blade slice into his chest, sending him stumbling backwards.

Asura mutters under his breath as he pulls one hand back to his wound, using his other hand to swing his Corpseblade at the offending Dust Curse, the sword crashing into its own with a loud clash, sending cracks down its blade. He is quickly forced back on the defensive however, pulling back his own blade to deflect an attack from another one of the Dust Curses. He quickly hops into the air, forcing another one of the animated swords into the ground, even as he swings down his Corpseblade at a slice at the already weakened Dust Curse’s shield. The blade digs into its shield, cracking off a chunk of it from the sheer force. Asura narrowly leaps off the sword, leaning his head back a bit as another Dust Curse’s sword narrowly passes over his face.

Realizing his error in his jump, he falls on his back, quickly holding his Corpseblade horizontally over himself to defend against another attack from a Dust Curse. The two blades clash overhead, sending the Dust Curse’s back, a long crack running down its length. Asura quickly lunges at the wounded Dust Curse, driving his Corpseblade through the sword, the blade shattering to pieces and both the hilt and its corresponding shield falling to the ground, disappearing into data.

Asura quickly spins around his Corpseblade, meeting another Dust Curse’s blade even as the last one slices across his shoulder, narrowly missing the muscles and nerves lying beneath. He quickly pushes the sword of his current Dust Curse aside with his Corpseblade, sending the blade forward into its already wounded shield. The blade pierces through the weakened shield, shattering it like glass upon the floor, where it turns grey and slowly fades away.

Asura spins around, facing his last opponent from this current portal, deciding to try to make quick work of it since his SP recovered. He dashes at his final Dust Curse, quickly stepping to the side, letting the blade pass over his shoulder, grinning a bit. Asura raises his sword into the air as he draws near the shield. “VAK SLASH!” he yells, quickly slashing down and diagonally at the shield as he draws near, blade igniting into flames as it collides into the shield, sparks flying from the contact and flashing across the dark floor. The Vak Slash fails to defeat the Dust Curse at first, and then the second slash comes from the opposite direction, cleaving the already wounded shield in two, melting a path straight through it.

Asura falls to his knees, breathing heavily as the last Dust Curse falls to the ground. Deciding that his Corpseblade was working well enough due to all the water element creatures in the area, he decides to continue using that as his weapon. However, he quickly swaps out his Nomad’s Hood for his Time Headband for a bit, giving him just enough time to raise his sword into the air yelling “AP DO!” A strange light engulfs Asura, who looks around, wondering if anything happened. Deciding to take a step forward as a test, he finds himself moving at the same speed of a dash, causing him to grin as he realizes the potential of the Ap Do. Realizing that he also needed to heal, however, he switches back out the Time Headband for his Nomad’s Hood again. He raises his sword into the air, gathering up the rest of his SP as he yells out “REPTH!” Sparks of light fly from his blade, sending a gentle glow around the room as the sparks seep into his wounds, mending areas where the skin was broken, blood vessels shattered, and muscles torn.

Asura quickly then turns towards the doorway that had opened when the monsters from the portal were defeated, dashing towards it, hoping it leads deeper into the dungeon and to whatever rare item may wait at the Gott.

Asura - July 7, 2003 06:30 PM (GMT)
Asura runs through the various rooms of the dungeon, surprised by the complete lack of portals that he had found. Pushing open one more door that lies ahead of him, he sees the stairway, grinning to himself as he makes a dash for it, eager to get on to the third floor and hopefully, the treasure. As he walks down to the third floor, out of the corner of his eye he notices a brief spark of light, wondering what that was. He shakes it off, deciding it must be another player in the dungeon as he walks down the cave, walking through a low opening that looks like a tunnel into the next room.

Asura jumps a bit as soon as he enters the room, realizing that the door must have slammed behind him. Realizing that it must mean a portal is in the room, he edges forward a bit, trying to find the location of the portal before he gets surprised. He looks around the wide open room and both the way forward and way back were both closed, with no portal in sight. He finds himself shaking a bit, quickly looking around for an exit as soon as he realizes that the dungeon must have been hacked, since doorways only locked when a portal was in sight.

Suddenly, a blood red portal appears in the center of the room, sending an ominous light through the room, even as the yellow flame of the torches turns red as though the hacker was having fun scaring everyone who entered the room. Asura decides he probably must have to face this threat if he was to move forward, holding his Corpseblade as he edges towards the portal. He grimaces a bit as the portal glows brighter, at the same time realizing that he had probably gotten too close and triggered the portal.

The dark light suddenly flashes brightly, causing Asura to cover his eyes, staggering back a bit and tripping onto his back. A loud roar echoes through the area and he shakes off the light long enough to look at what the portal released. A gigantic wyrm hovered where the portal once stood, red scales covering its entire body as its thick wings send gusts of scalding hot wind in all directions almost effortlessly. Realizing that it must be one of the feared Red Wyrms, Asura switches out his Corpseblade for his Ensui, deciding that the Rue Slash would probably be a deciding factor for the battle.

Asura - July 7, 2003 06:32 PM (GMT)
Asura quickly leaps to the side as the Red Wyrm sweeps down next to where he once stood, claws ripping into the stone cave as though it were dirt. He moves to try to hit with the Rue Slash before the Red Wyrm has time to recover, determined to make this a quick fight. However, a gust of burning wind suddenly surrounds him, burning away at the areas where his skin is uncovered, causing him to raise his arms up to keep the tempest away from his face. Losing sight of his opponent for this maneuver however, he curses whatever hacker may have done this, dropping his arms back down to normal as the tornado fades away.

Asura quickly looks around, trying to find where the Red Wyrm went, hoping it hadn’t gone anywhere too fast. He hears a roar behind him, spinning around to meet the Red Wyrm just as its claws rip into his chest, sending a shocking amount of pain through his body, causing him to fall to his knees as a large chunk of his HP drains away from him. The Red Wyrm hovers in the air menacingly, blood dripping from its sharp claws as it prepares itself for the next attack on its now battered opponent.

Asura lifts a hand into the air, being careful to keep his sword close to be able to hit the Red Wyrm on its next attack pass. “REPTH!” he yells, sending a shower of sparks around him, the sparks focusing around his chest where the talons had ripped into him, mending the wound and clothing as though the wound had never been there to begin with. However, at the same time, the Red Wyrm sweeps out one of its deadly claws for another attack, Asura narrowly deflecting with the Ensui, stumbling back from the sheer force of the blow however.

Asura dashes back at the Red Wyrm, hoping his previous Ap Do would give him a bit of an advantage over the deadly beast. As the Red Wyrm swings down one of its claws at him, he quickly shifts to the side, body blurring a bit as he runs to the side of the Red Wyrm with the full Ap Do enhanced speed. He spins around on his heel from where he ran to the side of Red Wyrm, trying to shake off the blurriness that had obscured his vision even as he raises his sword into the air, yelling out “RUE SLASH!” A pillar of freezing wind surrounds the Ensui, charging it with the elemental properties of water, seeming to cause the Red Wyrm to cower back a bit.

Asura quickly sweeps the Rue Slash enhanced blade at the Red Wyrm’s right wing, blade ripping through the unprotected skin there. Ice travels along the wing from where the first strike connects, weighing down the Red Wyrm, causing its flying to become more and more erratic. Moving forward slightly for the second slash towards the Red Wyrm’s head, he quickly swings the blade down at it from the opposite direction, digging the blade into the monster’s scaly neck. The blade digs into the back of the neck, getting stuck in the scales. However, ice travels up from the slash, freezing the Red Wyrm’s spine, letting it fall down to the ground, paralyzed and slowly dying.

Asura decides to end his opponent quickly, spinning around his Ensui quickly, holding it over the Red Wyrm’s head for a few brief moments, muttering what sounds like a prayer under his breath. He brings down the sword at its skull vertically, falling to one knee as he plunges it into the skull, taking away what remains of the beast’s health. He rises back up to his feet as the wyrm seems to simply shift away from the field, as though it couldn’t die because it never belonged in the first place. Seeing that the torches had turned back to normal and the doors had unlocked, he grins a bit, thinking that the Knights of War and administrators must have locked down the hacker. He opens the last door in his path, grinning even more as he sees the Gott Statue, wondering what sort of rare treasure awaited him.
