It sounds as if you are either mentally retarded or you are on drugs. It is as simple as one click.



You should get the picture after this. Unless you want me to make a 'PM Cleaning for retards'. After you select the things that you wanna delete, then scroll all the way down and click the 'delete' button. If any conformation screens pop up, then just click yes. There you go. Should be right.


EDIT: There shouldn't be a maximum of 60...I think...It should be a percentile...


And I am quite curious as to how you could have 60 messages by now...

I'm not a retard. I already tried that. All my messages are gone, but it still says 60 out of 60 maximum messages are stored. How do I get rid of it?
Edit: That's what I did, and it still says the same thing. I don't understand.

Click the box next to the PM that you need deleted and then click on the delete button underneath. Perhaps you've got it in some different folder. Or perhaps you've just got a glitch. It happens every now and then. *shrug*

It could be one of those things that others have had where they rack up percenteges in the upper hundreds. I remember a GD topic about it. But, if it actually says "60 out of 60 Maximum Messages", then I dunno. Never head of that before. Some things that might affect it are your browser version/type, or personal settings (but I doubt it).

You're screwed because I have the same problem but not as extreme as Hitori's. Last time I checked, there's no solution of it except the admins making the PM capaticy infinite or increasing the size of the box. There's the deleting your account and making a new one way to solve the problem.

On the other hand, what's this about making your PM box carry infinite messages? That might work... Hmmmm.

They'll probably let you keep all of your stats and stuff, just change your name though.

All they'd do is delete the invisionfree.com forums account, you still keep your character. Then you remake the account and just transfer the information to the right places.

Oh, and make sure you record what all of your information is before doing that. If you choose to do it that is...

First of all, deletion is apparently your sole solution unless the administrators choose to increase your PM capacity. This is a case-by-case basis, but it's obvious that someone would have a hard time functioning on the board without PMs. It's basically either extension or deletion.

1 -- Extension
The administrators decide to expand your PM capacity. I think it's possible for that to be done to individual members. This may or may not require that they check your inbox first. They wouldn't need your password to do so, but would be changing it to another and telling you the password.

2 -- Deletion
Your account is deleted to get through this. You then create a new account in which your stats are all preserved and your post count can be set to the number of posts you previously had. The only flaws are that all previous posts under your name will show you as deleted and your new name won't have links to your old threads. The registration date will also be different. This may be an inevitable answer if the problem happens again.

Now that those are out of the way... Passwords. I can't begin to stress that sharing your password with anyone is a considerable risk. Don't give your password to anyone who you don't know well enough. That shouldn't have come up at all in this thread. Please note that the administrator cannot be responsible for anything that happens to your account if you share your password. In addition, people may be able to access anything where you use a password you've told.
