lol being the hopeless romantic I am I gotta rant about last nights episode of .hack//sign... Recollection. It was so cute! Perfect little romance... And poor irl Subaru...

Plus the arts perfect... one of the best animated of the series, you could really tell it was from the people who did Evangelion...

Recollection adds Subaru's backstory to the story and I liked it.

It was okay. One part that was kind of scary was the look a like girl of Subaru was.....I don't know scary. It's just the way her eyes look. Also near the end, where Subaru is with Tsukasa, and they were hugging. It was soooo Kawaii!!! One thing that shocked me was the person behind Subaru, was in a wheelchair. What is up with that?!?!?!?

I liked it very much but what was up with the girl who beat Subaru up. What a witch. I mean come on you just don't go around beating up people you don't like. I would like to show her a thing or two. But beside that it was a great show especially the end. It almost had me crying. :jawdrop: (yes I am a softie) :D Plus they let you know more about Subaru which they haven't done in the past episodes.

Not to spoil anything but there was no one behind Subaru. She was there by herself.

How do people know what I was going to do? I seriously was about to start a topic about the episode of .Hack//Sign. Then, I saw this.

But anyway, what happened to Subaru's clothes? They were orange and red. Now she has only a ribbon in her sleeve that looks like it came from her original costume. Did anyone else know Subaru was paripaligic? It was freaky. And I think the real world Subaru is either red-haired or blonde. That might have been my favorite episode.

The ending with Tsukasa sounds like an end to a series. Torn up Subaru looked so cool. She looked like she had seen the entire world, both darkness and light. The way you never saw both her eyes. The one eye look heightens the the all ready high tension. It seemed like she was going to do something that changed the entire series. I'd sacrifice my week for the next episode.

actually, (and I'm only telling this cuz it has no real importance), irl Subaru has blue hair too... @.@ its kinda freaky... I feel so sorry for her. and even though I have a vauge idea of the rest of the series, I'll still say that her tear having *the* noise with it makes you think she's gonna get trapped in there with Tsukasa... or that she'll be the one to get him out.

Has anyone seen the Limanality DVD's?? The noise at the near the end of Sign is the same one from Limanality? The main character Mai keeps hearing it hearing it in irl though.

Yeah cause that is the sound that she heard when whatever made her boyfriend go into came and attacked them. But it's wierd cause Mai is the only one that could hear it so far. I think that is why she didn't go into a coma like all the rest did.

The sound is A in the C major scale. She hears it when she sees Aura. I think the sound was produced by Skeith. I think Skeith shows up for Aura and Data Drains Sieg, Mia's boyfriend. Aura might have saved her. She is the cure to the Wave that the Epitaph refers to.

omg was there anyone else that couldn't sleep after #20 (Tempest?)... I laid there shaking for like an hour afterwords. >.< can't wait a week for next one! I know its on my hard drive somewhere! That was so... DAH! Like the begining was all cute, all Subaru & Tsukasa-ness ^.^- I loved it... then it got confusing... and did anyone besides me find themselves saying NO! TSUKASA! DON'T TAKE HER THERE! o.o' but I didn't expect Aura to be gone... Then it looked like they were gonna make Tsukasa be Aura... or maybe he woke up.... maaaaan that voice actress has a talent for sounding in pain. But the background music the whole episode was so spastic... oh well... any other rants?!

Yeah that was so Uhh. How could he bo so.... so stupid I mean come on he already knew that she didn't like anyone their. But I still felt sorry for him cause what happened looked like it really hurted. I mean his clothes were like torn and stuff. ouch.

It looked like his skin got torn too... x.x ouchies... and what on earth was that line supposed to mean... "I'm not me"? sounds like me in a philisophical moment...

Maybe what happened to him not only hurt him physically but mentally also. Poor Tsukasa. But I don't think Subaru should have left him by himself in a time like that or Tsukas should have left with her.

When Tsukasa was being set up for that big light implosion, it looked like Skieth was going to Data Drain him. Then, he lowered onto the bed, I thought he was going to take Aura's place, it was freaky. Then, Tsukasa started to fly up and the big light thing happened. Oh god, I hope that doesn't happen again. That's up there when Aura finally opened her eyes and they were blod red all over, like she was going to summon a huge scythe and lodge it in Tsukasa's chest, then laugh.

When all of those yellow rays shot at Tsukasa he was Data Drained. And Skeith isn't the only one or thing that can data drain.

Thats what I thought when that happened I thought he was being Data Drained......

Question: Does this mean Aura has awakened or was she just taken away? And is it me or is the art of Bear making his head shorter and giving him a more constipated look.

Aura has not awaken yet but moved to a different location. I don't know about Bear's head.

Yeah, Tempest was the first actual whole episode I've seen and it freaked me out. It was weird and I want to know what Sora, BT, and the Silver Knight are plotting against Bear, Mimusa, Subaru, Crim, and Tsukasa because they seem really evil all together like they were. I admit the beginning was actually pretty nice how Tsukasa and Subaru were standing there holding hands and staring off into nothing but he really should have known better to take Subaru to his "place" and mess things up for himself.

Ok. I was just watching it an hour ago since i had to tape b/c i was gone, but at a couple of scenes his neck and head looked like they did'nt have much room. And i noticed the animators got really lazy b/c a couple of scenes when a group was talking they would pull away and they would either be in the background or turned away so you could'nt see their mouth movements ,like the animators got tired of drawing these scenes and just had the characters speak while the animation barely moved.

Whats wrong with Sora and BT planning. They always do that. Think of the last key of the twilight attempt. I wouldn't mind if Sora pk'ed Silver Knight a few times for the fun of it. I don't like him at all. Then again, I'd prefer if Sora joined up with the others instead.

While it seems like its the animators are being lazy, actually in that scene of BT and the Silver Knight talking, their mouths were probably still moving because the foreground was an overlay, meaning everything had to keep happening behind it in case anything showed through. I'd say the shots of Subaru and the other heavy axewoman in the previous episode, that showed only between their nose and the top of their head, now that was lazy, because its quite likely they didn't have to animate any mouth movements for that. Upside of both of those scenes, and any similar ones though, is we get the best possible translation -- the dialouge is the purest translation it can be, and hasn't been modified to fit the "lip flaps", because the mouth movements aren't seen.

ADDED: x.x Rayo, you posted while I was typing lol. But I'm gonna agree with you... Sora needs to PK him at random, just to piss him off XD that'd be great.

When I said it looked like Skeith was going to Data Drain him, I meant the position Tsukasa was in. It looked like the crucified position of Skeith's Q, it looked like the Q was going to pop up behind Tsukasa.

To comment on the current arguement, it may not look like the characters are talking, but, it is Japanese animated, so any animation is according to Japan. Be thankful that the Japanese would share their marvels with our wannabe artist country.

Yeah but when Skieth Data Drains he uses that little weapon thing he has to Data Drain so if it was him you would know.

oy veh, I'm so confused...this show is not making any sence to me at all...maybe thats just me, but I don't know...I honestly can't tell which kind (Blademaster, etc.) each one of them is...eh...I'll figure it out eventually... ^_^

Yea the show is really slow moving most episodes but usually lead up to something awesome.
