Title: 3-D Images and Photoshop
Description: Let's see...

Here are basically some items I did for a class called Digital Art: Still Images my 2nd semester at college. Feel free to let me know what you think; I'm trying to master Photoshop as well as Carrera, a 3-d imaging program. So, I guess as I add more, feel free to comment on them. I'm really trying to see what I can do with it. And who knows; maybe i'll add some fiction/non fiction or poems or something too. We'll see.

P.S. On DA, my name is Silent-Reflection.

I love the third and last images - especially the third one. At first, I was wondering what in the world you were trying to do, but the little note at the bottom cleared it up... nice piece of imagination.

Your other pieces are pretty good, but when most of the image is in 3-D, it's a little striking to see that the water makes such perfect connections to the shores. The first one looks all right, mostly because it resembles a Christmas card, but the one with the sailboats had a break in the lighting that was a little too straight. A few ripples, or the hint of a wave somewhere, might clear it up. Also, the fourth picture is gorgeous - I especially loved the sky, and how it faded in with the horizon - but the reflections in the water render the pond too realistic for its straight-line border to pass. Around a pond, the ground is usually sloping down a bit to reach the water, and it isn't uncommon to see irregularities in its outline nor for a few patches of grass or some other plant life to spill over the sides, so that the outline of the pond looks patched or blurry.

Then again, that's just me, and maybe you wanted everything that way. Overall, nice job! ^_^ I like them.

Very awesome pictures. Awesome possum.

I actually liked the cell phone, but what happened to it thinking about the games on it?

At the time I did the cell phone pictures, I actually didn't have that many games on it; or at least, not many games that I played/cared about. So, I tried to put pictures that were more human like. I mean...we all dream of waterfalls, right?

More to come as soon as I can get them up.

Zavier, you have just convinced me which cell phone brand to use when I grow up. That picture is AWESOME!!!

Anyways, good job :-)
