DUDE walked up to the Chaos Gates and waited. Today was his date/quest with Gwen, and he would hate to be late, so he showed up two hours early. He sat on the steps on Mac Anu and waited for Gwen to come.

Exploding with excitement, Gwen walked up to the Chaos Gates, only to find DUDE sitting there...
"Am I late?," Gwen asked.
"No, I'm just really, really early,"DUDE said, smiling up at her as she approached.
"Oh good...So are you ready?"Gwen asked.
"Lets go,"Said DUDE standing up, and turning towards the Gates,"Ahh, Normally it would be ladies frist, but seeing as it's a dugeon, I'll go first, okay?"
"Ah, yeah go ahead, I'll follow you,"Gwen said as they began to walk towards the Gates.

The Chaos Gate enveloped DUDE and Gwen and sent them spiraling through the golden sub-space. The twosome were dropped from the golden heavens into a dark, clouded eartian field. Upon looking around, large rocks jutted out from every direction.

DUDE sighed heavily. Hell of a place for a first date...

Gwen laughed and jumped as a loud crash was heard in the distance. Again, DUDE sighed as rain began to pour on Gwen and he. This was NOT the way he thought a date should go. Baren field, rained on, and now a Swordmanoid and Magical Goblin are running towards them.

Great...party crashers. Gwen, take the Swordmanoid, I'll go kill the Goblin.

DUDE ran forward and cut the Goblin in half with two swing's from his Master Blades. He then turned around and watched his date swarm the Swordmanoid with magic, all the while thinking how good she looked wet. With the water dripping off her hair, the light glistening off her face, and her chanting movements, DUDE could almost have mistaken her for an angel.

As Gwen finished of the Smordmanoid with Gan Zot, she glanced back to where DUDE was taking care of the Goblin, and cought his eye as she turned back to see just as the Swordmanoid turned to data...
"Good one!," DUDE yelled across the battlefield.
"Thanks,"Gwen said, blushing as she walked over to where DUDE was standing,"Not bad your self."
"Shall we continue?,"DUDE asked, pointing towards the next set of rings in the nearer distance,"seems we have at least two more monsters waiting for us."
As the pair of them walked ever closer to the rings, it grew darker and started to pour even harder.
'As if they weren't drenched enough,' Gwen thought.
When they reached the rings, three monsters poped out, a Snip-Snap, a Deadly Moth, and a Swordmanoid. As DUDE ran for the Deadly Moth and the Swordmanoid, Gwen charged the Snip-Snap. DUDE used the Swordmanoid to block the Moth's attack, but the Swordmanoid caught DUDE in the shoulder with its sword, leaving a gash that leaked blood. DUDE then used his Master Blades and cut right through the Moth. As he turned back to the Swordmanoid, it tried to stab him again, but this time DUDE stabbed it and as the monster turned into data, the Snip-Snap Gwen had been trying to defeat was momentarily distracted.
This gave Gwen the opportunity to cast Juk Rom and catch the beast off guard and knock it to the ground at which point she casted Gan Zot and the monster screamed and turned into data.
As Gwen got up off the floor, looking at her many cuts from the monster, she knew she would have to restore her HP. She glanced aroung the space, partially to look for more monsters, the other part to find DUDE.
DUDE was sitting on a rock some 50 feet away from Gwen, and when Gwen saw him she ran over to him, noticing his wound.
"Are you okay?,"Gwen asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine,"DUDE replied, as Gwen casted Repth over him. As he watched his wound heal, Gwen then casted Repth on her self, and her wounds in turn healed.
"Well, on to the next one,"Gwen said, begining to walk as DUDE stood up and began to follow her.

DUDE chased after the wavemistress, and finally caught up with her. They walked through the darkened field for some time before taking a break. They found a small cave that held out all the rain. DUDE and Gwen entered the small cavern to dry off. They sat next to each other, and looked into the darkness.

DUDE grumbled. This sucks...it's to dark. Gwen, lets look for some wood....

DUDE and Gwen scoured the small cave for some wood, which they found. Both piled the wood in the center of the cave and DUDE used his TWIN DRAGONS attack on the wood. Each time his blades connected, sparks of flames shot out and lit the fire ever so more. After his exotic dance display, the fire was raging, and lit the whole cave.

DUDE and Gwen snuggled up against each other to warm up more. DUDE stole a quick glance of Gwen as she huddled beneath his arms and thought how beautiful she was. When Gwen looked up at him, he zipped his gaze away and towards the mouth of the cave.

DUDE fumbled for something to say.

Uhh.....ummmm.......errrrr.........ahhhh.....

It was at that time, a Magical Goblin and a Skyfish entered the cave. DUDE hurled his Master Blade at the Goblin. The blade pierced right through the beast, and it fell over and shattered into data.

Since DUDE's blade had only killed the Goblin, the Skyfish sulked outside the cave entrance, waiting for the pair to exit. But since they could see the Skyfish, Gwen casted Gan Zot. The spell shot out of the cave and hit the monster full on, blasting it into data.
"Nice one,"DUDE said glancing back to her.
"Thanks,"Gwen replied, siting back down next to him and watching the flames dance against the cave walls. In a few moments Gwen was back in DUDE's arms and thinking about the wonderful serenity the cave provided.
Approximately 15 minutes later the rain softened and eventually stoped and Gwen and DUDE were completly dry and warm. It was then that they agreed that it was time to ressume the quest.
As they were exiting the cave, DUDE picked up his Master Blade where it had stuck in the ground after the Golbin had turned to data, and led th eway out of the cave to make sure that no more monsters had staked a post outside.
"All clear,"DUDE said as they moved out of the cave and on with their quest.

The pair walked a good twenty yards before the rain began to fall again. DUDE's face went blank, and then he laughed. He couldn't help but laugh at how such a date could go so wrong. Gwen looked at DUDE's goofy antics, but caught the bug too. She began to laugh along with DUDE. There stood two people, laughing out loud in the rain, surrounded by enemies. But they didn't care.

This reminds me of "Singing In The Rain", DUDE said, only...without the Singing, and dancing.

Both fell into laughter again, not noticing the three baddies sneaking up on them. The Skyfish and Swordmanoid both attacked DUDE's back, sending him falling forward, while a Magical Goblin poked Gwen in her back. DUDE flew forward, only to tuck and roll. He rolled onto his feet and faced the two who attacked him. DUDE jumped forward, Master Blades drawn, and sliced the Sky Fish into Fish Sticks.

While attacking the Skyfish, the Swordmanoid swung and knocked DUDE to the ground. DUDE hit the ground hard, but was unphased by the weak attack. He spun like a disco dancer, catching his legs with the Swordmanoids feet, causing it to fall. DUDE swung his Master Blade under where the beastie was to fall, causing it to impale itself.

DUDE got to his feet and looked on at Gwens fight, forever thinking about how her body looked so angelic in the rain, and how he wished to hold it in his arms.

Gwen attacked the Goblin with Juk Rom and attempted to dodge its attack, but it caught her in the leg and she fell. Momentarily caught off guard, the Goblin attacked Gwen at full strength. Gwen casted Gan Zot after Gan Zot and finally managed to stun the monster. As she crawled out of the way the monster regained its composure, and began to run at Gwen as to attack her again. Gwen, now fully prepared for the monster, casted Gan Rom, and the Goblin burst into data.
When she was done with the Goblin, 2 more Skyfish appeared, and attacked the pair.
"Go to the left, I'll take the right,"Gwen shouted to DUDE as he appeared by her side.
Gwen charged to Skyfish at the same time DUDE did, and casted Gan Zot. DUDE hit the Skyfish with a Twin Dragons attack and the two fish exploded into data.
[I]As Gwen turned to see DUDE, she thought, 'How could I possibly have been this lucky.' Then quickly turned away to avoid making eye contact with DUDE.
The two of them walked approximately 100 feet until they saw more rings...

DUDE and Gwen walked up to the portal. Upon it being activated, two Magical Goblins and a Swordmanoid burst through the golden portal. DUDE ran into the thick of the fight, splitting the three monsters into two groups.

Gwen! Get the lone Goblin!

No problem DUDE.

DUDE charged the Goblin, getting ready to cut it down, but he was to late. The Goblin casted it's AP VORMA onto the other Goblin, making it strong against Gwens powerful magics. DUDE became incredibly mad. He litterally jumped onto the Swordmanoids head and cut it off. He then ran to Gwen who was about to get beaten up by the small troll. DUDE grabbed her by her waist, lifted her up, and swung her into the line of fire of the other Goblin.

Change of plans hun. You get the non-defended goblin.

DUDE spun around and charged the now scarred beastie. He killed it with two cuts to the back as it tried to scurry away. Now free of monsters, DUDE hoped on a smal lboulder and admired Gwens graceful figure as she dodged and casted. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw about four figures running towards Gwen.

I swear, whatever beastie harms a hair on Gwens head, I'll wear their intestines as a hat!

DUDE then charged towards Gwen to try to warn her of the oncoming onslaught.

As Gwen finished off the Goblin with Gan Zot DUDE ran up to her.
“Behind you,” he yelled as a Swordmanoid and a Skyfish appeared and began to attack them.
Gwen ran towards the Swordmanoid as DUDE sliced up the Skyfish. She stole a glance at DUDE and wound up on the ground with a large cut in her leg…apparently the Swordmanoid had been rushing at her and when she had averted her attention, the monster had given her a leg sweep with his sword. Since she could not stand up, Gwen pulled herself to her knees and casted Gan Rom at the on coming beast. The Swordmanoid burst into data. As soon as DUDE saw that Gwen was hurt and the Skyfish was taken care of, he ran over to her.
“Are you okay?,” DUDE asked looking at Gwen’s wound, and casting Repth. They both watched as the cut seemingly healed its self up and all with out leaving a scar. DUDE helped Gwen to her feet, and walked with her over to a large rock, where the two sat down in the pouring rain.
“Having fun?,” DUDE asked, leaning Gwen against his shoulder, so she could recover her HP and SP.
“H--l yes,” She replied, thinking this was leading to a most perfect date indeed.
They gazed up at the rain clouds, just siting there peacefully.

DUDE placed his arm around Gwens waist and pulled her close. They staired into the storm clouds and watched the briliance of the lighting bolts crash in the distance. Though both were water logged, it was turning into the best date DUDE's had in THE WORLD, considering this was his first.

After some time, they decided to continue on their journey. Unfortunately, DUDE had to remove his hand from Gwens waist. They gathered themselves together, and proceeded into the nightly rainstorm.

Know what's good about so much rain, Gwen? DUDE asked.

Tell me.

You can't feel my sweaty palms.

DUDe started to chuckle, but Gwen growned and laughed. She then tossed her arms around DUDE, hugging him. DUDE was suddenly speechless...he had an angel wrapping her arms around him and he knew not what to do. Lucky for him, a Magical Goblin appeared out of nowhere, causing the two to seperate and attack it. Gwen powered up her JUK ROM. A large, green circle formed under the Magical Goblin, causing it to freeze in place. Suddenly, large, sharp leaves flowed from nowhere, cutting the Goblin to bits. DUDE jumped in and thrust his Master Blades into the head of the beastie, causing it to melt into data.

Well, that was a mood killer if I ever had one. Gwen spoke up.

The two walked into the night, looking for the dungeon. While they walked, DUDE slipped his hand into Gwens.

While the two were walking, drawing ever closer to the next set of rings, Gwen thought again of just how lucky she was to have someone like DUDE. Unfortunately, her thoughts were then interrupted when a Skyfish and a Goblin exited rings…
“Here we go again,” DUDE said with a sigh, “Got the Skyfish.”
“Got the Goblin,” Gwen shouted back as she ran towards the monster. She casted Gan Zot and the Goblin burst into data, as DUDE walked up next to her. Gwen hugged him tightly and they continued on their quest.
Though it was still raining, very lightly, Gwen was happy and content when DUDE again slipped his hand into hers. They walked on, the dungeon entrance in the distance, and two more Goblins who had just strode out from behind a large out cropping. The two looked at each other.
“Left,” Gwen said.
“Right,” DUDE said, giving Gwen a wink.
The pair ran towards the Goblins and began to return the attack.

DUDE took care of the weakling beastie even before it could crack it's little claws. He turned around to admire Gwen as she danced around the little fiend, only to be attacked. Behind him, a Swordmanoid slashed DUDE's back, knocking him off his feet. DUDE tumbled, but was unfazed by the 'manoids attack. He charged the armor clad monster and sliced it across it's midsection.

Before the top half could hit the ground, more baddies emerged onto the field. Some Skyfish and Swordmanoids jumped into DUDE's loving arms, all biting, scrathing, and ripping at the leader. Though DUDE was surrounded by beasties, he did not worry. He jumped skywards and casted a bit of magic of his own.

GAN ZOT!

A large boulder formed below DUDE's outstretched arms. Once the boulder was as large as DUDE was, it fell onto the surrounding area. The four enemies below the boulder's impact point were immediately crushed. DUDE fell to the ground, only to run up to all the surviving baddies, and slit their throats open.

DUDE walked up to Gwen. Ready hun?

Lemme just finish this guy off....WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!

Oh....it invited some friends. Nothing big.

DUDE watched as Gwen fired off one last JUK ROM, sending the Magical Goblin into the air. The two looked into the distance, saw the dungeon, and walked towards it. DUDE moved his hands from her hands to around her waist, looking her square in the eyes.

I got something to tell you...I.......uhhh......I.....

I like you too, DUDE. Gwen placed her head on his shoulder and they continued to walk.

DUDE thought to himself, Idiot.

The pair walked arm in arm through the earth field, never stopping. The occasional Goblin would appear, but would disappear into data due to DUDE's quick blades and Gwen's magic abilities. The walk to the small castle was a short one, disappointing DUDE. He had hoped to spend more time with his date, but it would also be good to get out of the rain. Though, seeing Gwen sparkling in the light would surely be a sight he will miss.

DUDE escorted Gwen into the main entrance of the castle.

Thank GOD that's out of the way, DUDE grumbled. I hate it when it rains so much.

Gwen sparked up. I dunno about you, but you look good wet.

DUDE blushed a bright red shade and stumbled forward. He tripped over his own feet and fell flat on his face. Gwen laughed silly, seeing DUDE face first in the ground and his butt in the air. He climbed to his feet quickly and stumbled forward again. He repeated his mistake and landed flat on his face.

DUDE thought to himself, Rod, your better than this...now win her heart d--nit!

The two walked through the castle's winding corridors. They walked for a while, finally comming upon an arena of sorts. In the center floated two large portals. DUDE walked to the center and activated both. From the golden haze walked out three Swordmanoids and two Snip-Snaps emerged. DUDE pulled out his Master Blades from their sheaths, and Gwen brandished her Iron Rod.

DUDE charged the Swordmanoids, crushing them first. The low-level beasties tried to swing their blades at DUDE, but he was to fast, and dodged his way behind the three 'Manoids. He casted AP CORV on himself, making his muscles buldge with the on-set of power. He jetted forward, Master Blades in front of him, slicing two of the Swordmanoids in half with one pass. The third Swordmanoid, not showing any kind of cowardness or brains, charged DUDE. It flung it's blade in a downward angle, only to have it stopped quickly by DUDE blocking the blow. He then shoved his free blade through the body and flung it halfway across the room.

Once the last of the Swordmanoids dispersed into data, he glanced around at the battle between Gwen and the Snip-Snaps. It was a fierce battle, indeed, but DUDE had confidence in her abilities. With his short time to look over his inventory, he checked on his gift. Fortunately, it was not damaged, and he was soon to give it to her.

Gwen finished off the Skyfish with a Gan Zot and turned towards DUDE.
"Ready?" She asked, moving towards him.
"Yep, lets go," DUDE said, putting his hand around her waist and begining to walk up to the next level.
There the two found a Goblin and a Swordmanoid waiting for them.
"Goblin," DUDE shouted running over to the monster.
Gwen stood there for a few seconds, watching him toy with the monster. She didn't have long to stand there, as the Swordmanoid she was supposed to be attacking charge her and almost knocked her off of her feet. She casted Juk Rom and the beast exploded into data. She looked back over to DUDE just in time to see the monster dissapear into data.
When DUDE turned around, Gwen beamed at him, and the two began to walk the rest of the way on the second level, hand in hand.

OOC: Sorry it took me so long to post. With the holiday and such I have not been on alot!

As the two walked on through the long and winding corridors of the second level, they came upon a Swordmanoid and a Snip-Snap who had just emerged from two rings.
Gwen and DUDE, deciding not to let the two monsters have the upper hand, ran at them and attacked. Gwen took the Snip-Snap as DUDE charged the Swordmanoid.
Gwen casted Gan Zot and the Snip-Snap, stopped moving enough that Gwen was able to get in a better position and casted Juk Rom, as she did that though a Skyfish appeared behind her and began to attack her aided by the Snip-Snap.
DUDE used Twin Dragons and the Swordmanoid vanished into data, and turned around to see Gwen trapped between the Snip-Snap and the Skyfish. He rushed over to help her. By the time he had gotten there, Gwen had collapsed on to the floor and was unable to defend herself. DUDE again used Twin Dragons and soon both the Skyfish and the Snip-Snap had melted away into data.
"Gwen..." DUDE said, kneeling onto the floor beside her, "are you okay, Gwen?" DUDE then casted Repth and the blood stoped running out from Gwen's robes as she regained consciousness.
"It came out of nowhere..." She said, breathlessly.
"Yes, but its gone now, come on," He said pulling Gwen up, and into his arms, "You're okay now, come on, lets go."
The pair walked on down the, what seemed, longest corridor of them all.

Gwen's attackers did more damage than DUDE realized. She could not walk in a straight line. DUDE halted their progress and sat her down. She may have REPTH'ed herself, but her injuries were to great. DUDE pulled from his ARMY fanny pack a Health Potion. He popped the cork and began sprinkling the potion over her injuries. Though the skin was sealed from the spell, Gwen could feel her internal muscles spasming, but healing themselves.

Though the potion restored her body, she still had a small problem walking. DUDE picked her up in his arms and began to carry her. Through the corridors of the darkened castle walked a large Twin Blade carrying a beautiful Wave Mistress in his arms. He walked through many hallways carrying Gwen in his arms. Eventually, they walked into a room containing three Snip Snaps.

Gwen, this is dangerous, but i need your help. DUDE spoke. I refuse to put you down, I don't want them to hurt you, so I need you to attack. Use your skills, but let me be your legs. I'll make sure they won't harm you.

The three Snip Snaps advanced on the Twn Blade. DUDE ran forwards, dodging the claws. Gwen, held snug in DUDE's arms, casted a JUK ROM. A green circle surrounded a large area occupied by all three Snip-Snaps. The green circle raised off the floor, spinning faster and faster. Suddenly, large, sharp leaves sprang from the ground, slicing away at the three enemies.

DUDE ran towards them, with the intention of killing. He went to attack, but forgot he had to protect Gwen. A Snip-Snap thrust it's pincer forward, looking to impale Gwen, but DUDE immediately turned around and recieved the claw through his own back. Gwen screamed when she saw DUDE's face in pain. She knew that he sacrificed his body for her.

Gwen rolled from his arms to the ground. Horror stricken on her face. DUDE was skewered through his body. The Snip Snap held the limp body on display above it's shell. Gwen felt rage build through her body, and she suddenly let it all out.

GAN ROM! GAN ROM! GAN ROM!

Three grey circles raised above the Snip Snaps and began to twirl. Rocks from the ground ripped out of the floor and rose. The large stones smacked, gashed, bruised, and pierced the Snip Snaps' bodies. DUDE's body was lifted by the wind and flung halfway across the room.

Gwen crawled over to DUDE and held him close. The Snip-Snaps were burried under the piles of rubble, but were crawling their way out.

DUDE! Please wake up!!!! I don't want you to leave me! You can't leave me...I like you to much.

A tear drop fell from Gwens cheek and splashed onto DUDE's chest. She leaned down slowly and pressed her lips to his. A gust started to blow, encircling DUDE and Gwen. Gwen tried to pull away, but was held in place by the sudden movements of DUDE. His arms sprang from his side and encircled her body, holding her close. The gust built to a gail and a pure white light encircled the two. The gail blew the pair into the air and held them in place as a magnificent change took place on DUDE.

The gale slowed as Gwen fell from the arms of her date. DUDE had changed. The new man standing in front of Gwen was a compltely different person. All his armor was black, yet he wore a white cape. He still held his two Master Blades, but their color turned red. His eyes were now a bright green on the verge of yellow.

............nice kiss...

Angelus stood strong with his new look. He flexed his muscles, bend backwards, and marveled at his new white cape. The new look was amazing! The Snip Snaps did not seem to care because they crawled from the pile of rubble and charged again. Gwen tried to cast GAN ROM, but the circle never showed. Her SP was out, and she was now a vulnerable Wave Mistress.

A Snip Snap charged Gwen and reached out a large pincer to ensnare her. Before it could reach Gwen, the blood red Master Blade shot forward and sliced the claw clean off. Angelus jumped forward, burying his other Master Blade into the soft skull of the over-grown crab. The walking seafood flinched, then faded into data. Angelus jumped to the next Snip-Snap and did the same thing. He reached into it's shell and punctured the skull of the Snip-Snap with his newly colored Master Blades. The last enemy was as difficult as the others for the newly created Angelus. He punched his hand through the shell of the crab and casted his spell.
GAN DON!

Energy gathered in DUDE's hand in the form of a large boulder. The boulder kept growing inside the shell. Eventually, the shell cracked and burst open, crushing the Snip Snap inside. Angelus walked over to Gwen and picked her up.

Can you walk now?

Not really.

Well, once we finish, we'll take you to the Mac Anu healer.

Angelus carried Gwen into the next room which was the Gott Statue. Their quest was over. Angelus looked into Gwens beautiful eyes.

Thank you...it was an amazing date for me. Just one more thing.

Angelus stood Gwen against the wall and started to perform a magic trick of sorts. His hands waved back and forth, suddenly producing a single red rose.

This is for you.

Gwen's eyes teared with joy as she threw her arms around Angelus and passionately kissed him. Their date was over, but it was doubtful it was their last.
