" I AGREE COMPLETELY, AND IT LOOKS LIKE OUR CONTESTANTS DON'T WANT TO WAIT EITHER! GIVE US A GOOD SHOW PEOPLES! :lol: THIS'LL BE A ONE ON ONE MATCH BETWEEN THE MAGNIFICENT RYU OF THE DARKNESS ARMY AND SUPER MEGA POWERFUL MITSARUGI OF THE SWORD BREAKERS! GIVE EACH OTHER HELL GUYS! :)

Mitsarugi ran into an evergreen wonderland.Being surrounded by wood, her skill's attack would work better.Before her enemy came into the lush, emerald land, she used one of her items to prepare.

"I might as well use this...." Mitsarugi muttered to herself, looking at the potion.

Sighing, she drank the Warriors Blood, feeling a surge of energy come to her.Mitsarugi looked up at the glossy sky, with her regular cheerful expression.However, her tranquility was about to be broken because soon, her opponent,Shadow_Ryu, was about to take a little visit.Sitting on a tree stump, she put herself into defense mode, awaiting an attack from Ryu.

"I'll make sure you take an adventure....An adventure to hell....."Mitsarugi mumbled.

She clenched her Lath blades, trying to keep a good grip of them.She was going to stay into defense.It was hard trying to wait, but as she waited, she thought of continuous plans to defeat him.Soon, he would arrive, and that was when her plan would jump into action.

Slowly the lush green turned brown and large rock formations. Mitsarugi looked confused as Ryu jumped down with his Stun sword over his shoulder. "Hell eh? Well I thought before we started your attack would be alittle powerful, so I casted AP Ganz. Now this forest is a dead desert." Mitsarugi was alittle shocked as Ryu looked little prepared for their skirmish. "Well then shall we begin?" His happy grin faded into a malicious smirk.

Mitsarugi glared at her foe, disgusted at the site of the field.The flourishing forest turned into a barron wasteland, keeping her Orchid Dance attack at it's normal rate.

"I don't know how you did it, but you will pay dearly for changing my terrain." stuttered Mitsarugi, angrily.

Mitsarugi charged at Ryu, preparing a spell.Her blades extended she charged ready to do ''it''.Fooling Ryu, she shouted out the words:

"Orchid Dance!"

The surge of the potion and the attack itself resulted in an alost great attack.It missed a couple times, but some attacks got in.

"Really now, aren't you going to attack?" Mitsarugi said, throwing a Warriors Bane at Ryu.

Ryu felt his energy race from him, as he got up.His attack power was sucked away.

"Your move." Mitsarugi said standing and wating for Ryu's next attack.

"Oh clever move, knowing a heavy blade's attack stat is his highest and using a counter to that is just genious." Ryu said sarcasticly, taunting his twin blade opponent as he would with any foe. "But before I really start things off...."

"....CALAMITY!"

The attack both caught Mits. off guard and kept her from seeing Ryu's next move. While the move missed her completely Mits. saw it was a distraction. Ryu could now clearly be seen running, and shouting back. "Follow me if you can!"

Mitsarugi closed her eyes.Griping her blades tightly, she stayed stationary.After a minute of silence,s he ran after Ryu, and used Juk Rom on her opponent.The spell gave Ryu little damage, but he tripped in return.

"Argh..."Ryu muttered as he brushed himself off.

Mitsarugi placed herself straight into defense mode.She knew he would counter attack with a strong attack.

"I'm not moving Ryu.You come and get me." Mitsarugi said, bracing herself for Ryu's next attack.

"You must seriously take me for a fool! Listen I know what to expect." He saw a small dead vine like plant laying near him. Perfect He thought to himself before grabbing it quickly and tying a quick loop around the hilt of his sword.

"You expect me to attack head on so, here's an attack from, afar!" He used the roped blade to attack Mitsarugi from a safe distance and retaliate for tripping him. "I am a man of strategy Mits. don't take me lightly."

Watching Ryu untie his the vine on his blade, Mitsarugi used the Knights Blood on Ryu.His physical defense decreased giving Mitsarugi a good chance of inflicting good damage on Ryu.

"I can't attack you and cause you lots of damage right now.....But I can weaken you during the process!"Mitsarugi shouted, placing herself back in defence mode.

The Warriors Bane and Knights Bane turned Ryu weak enough for Mitsarugi to attack a deal great damage.However, she was going to hold back for now.

"I'm a women of strategy Ryu.Don't take me lightly." Mitsarugi said to Ryu repeating what he said before.

Keeping herself in defense, she braced herself for any attack incoming, or out coming.

"Oh man, I've never encountered something like this, She was really prepared for this. Alright Mits, you want me to make this move I will." He said as he climbed the closest tree and sheathed his sword. "Alright then, I will now let gravity take it's course." He declared before coming down in a body slam, but keeping his hand close to his sword hilt prepared for a counter attack from Mits.

Judgement: Knights Blood actually increases the defense of the user. Knights BANE decreases the opponents defense. Mitsarugi, you may decide whether you want your defense to be increased, or to take back the action all together.

Proceed!

Battle Away!

Mitsarugi still decided to take it easy.She grabbed and looked inside her pouch, taking out a Hermits Blood.

"I will still prepare.Attack as much as you wish."Mitsarugi said raising her blades once more.

"Won't you ever attack?" Ryu asked.

"Oh yes, I will.I just want to see what you can do."Mitsarugi replied.

As her blood tingled with a jult of more energy, she watched as Ryu weakened, and prepared for the worst.

Ryu looked up and took in the sights and then something made him smile in a devilish way. "You know Mitsarugi, we're still surrounded by trees, even if they are dead. But that just makes it easier for them to fall. Calamity!" He attacked a nearby tree and moved towards it. Mitsarugi looked on seeing that that the tree was not felled. "Is that all?" "No." Ryu said with laugh and he turned to her. Finally he swung his sword into the tree to his left which made it,slowly but surely, fall towards Mitsarugi.

Mitsarugi rolled out of the way, glaring at Ryu as she rolled towards him.

"Orchid Dance!"Mitsarugi shouted, hitting him mostly every time.

"Ungh..."Ryu mumbled as he got up from the attack.

Mitsarugi stared at Ryu.He appeared to be weakening, but she was unsure of how much it would take for him to perish.

"Is it over?" Mitsarugi asked, placing herself in defense mode.

"Hahhahahaha! Hahaha. You really expect me to fall for this? REPTH!" All Ryu's wounds dealt by Mitsarugi were healed on the spot. Ryu dashed forward and leaped above her." I know your strategy, you spend the fight in defense not attacking until there's an opening!" He landed behind her and gave a spinning slash to her back. "How's that for merciless."

"Hmph.Repth." Mitsarugi mumbled.

Mitsarugi placed herself into defense mode.Her plan wasn't figured out, but this battle would soon be over.

"Ryu, you know you're losing strength."Mitsarugi taunted."Why don't you just give up?"

"Never!" Ryu replied, throwing out his blade, ready to attack Mitsarugi.

Mitsarugi grinned.Her plan was working out.

"Think it over Ryu.....Remember, I have 2 bloods, and you have 2 banes.You aren't dealing much damage on me." Mitsarugi said in a matter-of-factly tone, bracing herself.

"Maybe not, but I really wish you wouldn't make me do this. I don't want to hurt you, but you might want to watch where you stand." Ryu purposely stumbled forward and took two wild swings at her legs and hoped they would hit. Not taking the time to check, he cut loose a tree branch and threw it at her. "There."

Mitsarugi rolled out of the way, and clashed her blades together.She ran up to Ryu and rolled under him, slashing him in the back twice.She jumped away from Ryu, placing herself into defense mode once more.

"Give and recieve Ryu...."Mitsarugi mumbled to herself.

"Will you keep going into defense mode?!You bore me girl."Ryu taunted.

"Maybe I do.But it's all part of the process."Mitsargui replied.

Assuming her defense mode, she sat on a rock, so that even if he attacked, she would be prepared.

"Okay Mits. Come at me if you want, I will fight honorably, no trees, no body slams. Just come and attack before I use the last of my sp to crush you. You haven't decreased my magic attack." Ryu took a stance as if to let her hit him, but to still fight back.

Giving Ryu a confused look, Mitsarugi reached into her pouch once more.The sand was now blowing into a storm, after all, Ryu did turn the terrain into a wasteland.

"I won't fight against your attack."Mitsarugi said, drinking the Knights Blood she got out of her pouch.

Once more, she felt a surge of energy.Then, Mitsarugi jumped into a tree, hiding herself from Ryu.Ryu couldn't seem to find her, and most of her sp recovered, so she jumped out of the tree, and while in mid-air, shouted out:

"Orchid Dance!"

Ryu fell to the ground, for the attack had attacked mostly the whole time, and it was aimed for his head.

"Come on Ryu."Mitsarugi yelled."Sow me what you got.I'm not here for a pity party.But unfortunetly, I'll have to end this duel.I have an important thing to do tomorrow."

Helping Ryu up, Mitsarugi walked out of the area, waiting for the judges results.

"Ow, my head....Note to self, avoid blows to head."

Explanation: Awesome use of your items to hold down your opponents power! Your strategy was not flawless, but since it seemed Ryu had no way to deal with it, and you defended against his already weakened agttacks-- AND he never attempted to evade or block your attacks, your strategy worked perfectly. Well done.

SP Regulation - 7

Explanation: Orchid Dance was used quite a bit too much throughout the battle. Though since you DID defend at the end of each attack, giving time for recovery... AND a lot of talking and discussion occurred between each post, you don't get too much taken off in this category.

Fairness - 8

Explanation: You lose a couple points here because you had your opponent react from your attacks. You have to give him a choice as to whether or not he gets hit.

Post Quality - 6

Explanation: Sadly, these posts were all small and very unlively. They weren't fun to read at all. Put some more effort into these battles and don't treat them like chat rooms.

Technicality - 10

Explanation: PERFECT 10. Not once did you not follow the 2 actions per post rule. Good job, Mitsarugi. I'm impressed.

Explanation: Why I'm even giving you any points in this field I'm unsure. You had no plan of attack at all, and you allowed her to complete her strategy in full. Nothing to speak of here.

Your spells weren't overused, and you pretty much did a good job of using your techniques well. Never did you mention how much HP was used from your techniques though.

Fairness - 9

Very fair. Problem? Too fair for your own good. You lost a point on that.

The same as Mitsarugi's post quality only you lose more because she had the explanations to give her posts some depth. Yours were very small and unimaginative. Sorry, kid. :(

You got the 2 actions thing down-- except you never chose to 'evade' or 'defend' first. You should have paid more attention to your life.

Though it wasn't TOTALLY noticeable by their fighting styles and talents-- since Mitsarugi's blows all landed, and her bloods and banes tipped the scales, she wins this one.
