Now that we have a spiffy looking domain name, the Cookie Cabinet is looking into creating official CC T-shirts. First we need to get a feel for how much interest there is in this project. This is the thread where you get to speak your mind!

I like the idea of t-shirts...but...one thing for ppl to keep in mind is this:

they will not be free.

Another thing that should be kept in mind is whether or not we should reap the profits and pay for a Uber Cool Version of Invision Free and to keep our domain name.

OR

we use any and all money and donate it to a charity.

OR

Oorla and I split the profits and pay off our student loans :D

I would only buy a shirt if it was reasonable. Since I'm Canadian, it will cost more for me so that sucks :( But do you really think that we can make a profit out of them? Perhaps, cookie lovers everywhere would love it! It should say "Cookie lovers of the world, UNITE"

Don't pay for invisionfree, it defeats the entire purpose, and what with their errors they're certainly not worth money :P

If you're going to start spending money, set up a server and get a good connection.

Hmm....this December, I'll be making a new computer; at that point i'll probably make this one a dedicated server, so if you wish, we could make a phpBB board on that. But that would only be up during the school year, so it wouldn't be worth it. :hmm

The other option is not not make any money off of these and give them to you at cost + S&H.

Here's an idea:

We make a really spiffy shirt that everyone wants, give them out at cost to registered CC members, who wear them as a sort of advertising campaign, and then we charge everyone else hundreds and hundreds of dollars! :D

Anyway...*IF* there was to be a profit made, I would rather like to see it donated to a charity.

But if no profit is to be decided upon...then I think that <for now) we can do the exact amount and such.

Actually, it might prove to be simpler if we just design how the shirt would look and just make the design available to others and they can just take it over to a t-shirt print place and get it done there. Probably be cheaper all the way around.

Maybe I can get Moonshine Screen Printing to print it for you for cheap, since they love me so much for making their website....with lots of tie-dye!!!!! :D :D I mean, everyone loves tie-dye.

There is to be no tie dye on these T-Shirts! :P

the thing to keep in mind, Vallah, is that some shirt places will charge you per letter. Oorla's seems to charge per color...which is good.

So, whoever gets the job of getting the shirts...if they don't mind putting in a different order...then it should all be good. Lol...Actually...I was hoping for mine to say "President of the CC" or something like that...lol...

Bear in mind that individualizing T-shirts that way will up the cost. Places that give discounts for bulk orders tend to only give discounts if the shirts all have the same design.

Still, if we're willing to pay for it, it'd be fun. :)
