Because this is a special forum, it deserves special rules.

With the exception of the flame room, any attempts to flame or spam another board member's thread, post or online personality will find you severely warned. If your comments are harsh enough you will be banned with no warning. If you are not familiar with what a flame is then I suggest you look it up at www.dictionary.com or www.wikipedia.com. If you repeat the offense, you will be banned.

Because real life topics can be more personal to some than others, it is required of you to be respectful of others and to keep post language as civil as possible. Mud slinging is not allowed nor is excessive swearing.

I understand that tempers can rise, but the point of these discussions is to see a different view and consider new ideas. You do not have to agree with the the main idea in order to gain new knowledge from it.

Also, in terms of being respectful to other board members, if you participate in a discussion without reading previous posts and bring up points already addressed without bringing anything new to the discussion you will be warned. This type of behavior is annoying and brings a certain degree of repetition and frustration to the discussion.

I want this forum to be a positive experience for all.
