Ok. Yesterday I had a bizarre day. Yesterday morning I was on a customers roof trying to see if he had spaces in his bricks at the top of his house - in order to see if his house was moving structurally (A symptom of foundation problems - I am a foundation inspector, so it's my job)
Because it was wet, I slipped, and when I went to catch myself I fell hard on my right shoulder, which was previously injured in a car accident a while back. There was a pop, then the most painful burning sensation I have ever felt. I knew I'd done something very bad, so I called my betterhalf and she took me to the hospital and x - rays followed. Sure enough I dislocated the thing. They put me on a demmoral (heavy painkiller) IV Drip for the pain and then, because of the location of the dislocation, the slinged it (but did not set it) - they will have to restabilize it with surgery, but since i was supposed to have surgery on it anyway from the wreck, who cares...
I was released three hours later and came home loaded up from the painkillers. I crashed out and then woke up yesterday evening. Whe I woke up I messsed around on the com a bit - I even managed to email a few folks and post on another board or two by typing left handed and copying and pasting. When my pain flared back up I made the mistake of taking some more of my prescribed painkiller the ER doctor had given me on an empty stomach. Soon I was higher than a kite and trying to type left handed.
I don't think it worked to well, so I apologize. I crashed out so bad last night that today I didn't even remember when I went to sleep. My right arm sucks, and this (typing left handed) takes me like an hour a paragragh, so I proabably won't be posting much the next couple of days. I just wanted to share the scoop.

Day number 5 in a row with no meds! I HATE taking medicine. A lil pain beats drugs any day.....
