Zeru, you were Born in the Dark lands, a slave. You showed early promise with weaponry and were conscripted into Naruko's army, you escaped at 14, while on border patrol, and crossed the moutains into the Kingdom of Forum. You made your a small name for your self as a bringer of justice to fugitives, and were fairly succesful.

While not rich, you do live confortable in a small village called, Ferus. Ferus is located along the edge of the Border Mountians, in the NW corner of Forum.

One day you recieve a knock on the door of you modest home.

look out the window to see who it is and saks for their name

It is no one you recognize, it a an middle aged man, dressed in brown, armed with a sword.

"My name is Halford, I seek your services" he says.

what do you want me to do

"I have a bounty I need "rectified""

okay how much is this job going to pay

"you care not for who you hunt?"

yes i do i open the door slowly

There is a short fat middle aged man, he extends a pudgy hand, "Halford".

i look at his hand you didnt answer me

"About pay, well let us sit and discuss this then?"

"i suppose" points to a table and chair "anyway whose the person i shall hunt"

"I heard you were good . . . My Daughter was murdered a few years ago, by a "important" man who was never charged with the crime. I want that man, I want him alive"

"i can't promise alive but ill see what i can do,but do you know where this person is and by important what do you mean"

"The man name is Daygil Molase, he is a minor member of the Forum Court. You can find him in Triiplexia . . . Alive is worth more to you.

Triiplexia is the capital of Forum, and is several days journey the the Southeast.

Ypu work out the details, and he pays you half the fee now, and the gentleman leaves. You decied to leave the next morning. Is there anything you need to do in the meantime? What will you bring with you.

healing health,posin,paraylzism,confusion,and charms are for offense amd defense to help the user

You leave . . . you travel most of this day without incident, and find a small cave to sleep in.

i find firewood and set a fire and then cook some food and then i sleep

You eat and soon fall asleep . . . you are awoken several hours later by strange noises.

i get up to see what they are

You peer into the darkness, but see nothing out of the ordinary, the sounds are defintely animalistic grunting, fairly close.

i get my weapon and pick up a stick and put it in the fire and walk around the area to see what the noise was.

Your light a stick to give you some light and head off into the general direction where you last heard the noise. It takes you right up to the begining of the wood, but you neither hear nor see anything else.

i walk back cautiously.

You begin to back up toward the fire, and you hear the growling again, this time behind you.

I quickly turn around and hold my weapon in a attack stance.

Standing in front of the fire is a creature

I snarls at you.

I unshethe my sword and stepbackward.

You pull out you sword and back away from the fire, the thing stalks after you.

I look for a tree and jump in it.
